Butler, why are you so rude?

So I was leaving a message with one of my neighbors. A very, very long message I guess. Cause out of know where, the butler kicks me off and says "Talk to me when you're less busy". Now all that I had typed, is gone to waste. Bug or is it programmed to do this? Whatever, please fix it.

  • I had something similar happen to me while leaving a package - I was having lag issues at the time, which is what I think caused it.

  • I'm Chris-

    Wait, I'm kevbob... I mean... *I'm confused*

Ok- there is a limited amount of time for you to enter the message. If it takes longer than a few minutes to put together, the butler won't wait for it and the dialog closes. If you have a really long message to leave, use the game mail system. (If they aren't a contact, you'll need to make them one to do that, of course.)

  • (and then you can remove them)

ETA: As for everyone else, instead of writing an update, spend 2 currants and send a message. If you're on the go, just type www.glitch.com/mail

    Cheers.

  • The mail page on Glitch still costs 2 currants. You cannot send or receive items or currants however.

  • It's a lot faster than loading the game.

I think everything else is just based on time management.

  • Sure. We're thinking of ways to make it work better for y'all.

  • Someone called for confusion?

I had the same happen to me. Know what else that lazy Butler did?
    Sat down.

Seriously, dude was sittin down on the ground. He's the Butler and gets to sit, but I don't? Fired!

  • Alternatively, write a note on paper and have the butler hold it.

Sometimes I like to say things to the street owner and they may or may not be a friend.

I've only found 1 verra popular person who had a full butler.
