I just upgraded a couple of my bags to bigger bags, and realised I could not sell them to a Tool Vendor nor put them up for auction. Are there any ways to get rid of them for some currants?
I've become fond of putting random stuff in them that I can part with and leaving them in random places around Ur and naming it "free bag" or something like that.
Open the trade chat window and announce that you have some small bags that you want to sell. You will have to sell them at a bit of a discount, but somebody is likely to take you up on it. Meet them in your home street.
Ahhh, so I'd have to do the it "old fashion" way? Strike up a deal and exchange the goods and currants over manually? Sounds kinda insecure =P
Although giving it away with a secret gift sounds like a great idea! I don't get any currants but it sounds like a great way to liven up the community~ =)
Darkwoof, glitch actually has secure trading with the trade window - each player uploads their offer/counteroffer, and locks it when they're satisfied. No need to risk someone doing a runner with your goods!
@Fern Connelly: I *had* actually thought of pranking my friends through sending a bag of guano (albeit not flaming - can you actually do that?!) through the mail! haha~ But maybe I'd save it for April Fool's next year...
@Oscarette, Circe: Thanks ladies, I just tried out the trading system not long again with a friend and found this out as well. Wow, for a beta Glitch has a surprising robust trading system! Good stuff~
I like to leave bags around Ur. Sometimes empty, sometimes not. Depending on what I'm doing that day. Mostly, I have a bunch of empty ones (from the days before SDBs) sitting in the attic. Hoping TS lets us craft something with them one day, or break them down into fabric/string
