THANK THE GODS (No more drama)

Things are locking on our yard.. and it's about time because I was SO SICK of hearing the drama about lost feeders and collectors.  What a mess that took up in the forums. WAY too much drama. And I'm sure the devs are finally getting a break from all the drama as well

Anyone else enjoying the quiet ?

  • Totally agree.

Of course the killers will probably go on a tree killing spree in-world just to vent their outrage. But once the resource routes are built back up, that annoyance will be laughable. :)

  • I'm actually thinking about joining one or two of the resource routes, now.  Though, not so much because of the lock down, but because I want the traffic!

  • Already on the grand circuit, and I'm also joining the egg route. :) The resource routes rock. Be nice if there was a way to make the signposts easier to read for creating routes like this, in future after the big stuff is taken care of, of course, :)

  • Resource routes remove you from the organic variety that is Ur.  I do not approve.

  • Resource routes remove you from being mess about with by the fracking tree killers. Adding joy and peace to game play. :)

  • Everyone is welcome to approve or not of the resource routes ... they do no harm to you if you choose not to participate, utilize, or approve.

  • WalruZ, I have found that the resource routes are a quick way to gather something I need immediately, but you are right, they do remove you from the organic variety that is Ur.

Although, I would actually describe the home streets as organic variety (particularly in what they could be in the future), where-as Ur is highly cultivated beauty!

But, in any case!  That beauty with is Ur is lure enough to keep me from staying entirely within the resource routes.  Also, it always seems to me that I can find other Glitches more often while exploring Ur than the resource routes.  Furthermore, there are no sloths, foxes, batterflies or vendors in the home streets.

So, my routine usually takes me to Ur.  I just throw in a small jaunt to other's home streets to see what they are doing and to fill in the gaps left by my adventures.  Although my experience is limited to me and my sensibilities, I remain unconvinced that your vision of life in Ur is in any danger.

  • Touche!

Though, I'd hate to think that a long winded philosophical discussion is always synonymous with drama.

  • Now we can get back to complaining about those who complain and even worse those who complain about those who complain. That last set of whiners should be BANNED right now.

  • WHAT SALMON! that's unconscionable if you don't prefer meat and grain that can be harvested by your own hands you shouldn't be in the game!

  • Salmon drama. Well, this is a fine kettle of fish.

I have salmon as house guests. Well, I guess my guests are going in a box now. If you look at the bottom of Fly's World Without Vendors you'll see someone who looks a lot like me clearly traumatized at finding a deceased (or passed out drunk) salmon in the pond.

  • If you give a Glitch a fish he'll eat for a day; if you teach a Glitch to fish he'll...

... have to get a Fishing Licence from the Bureaucratic Hall, stand and wait without moving for one full minute, correctly answer a riddle, pay 500 Currants for the Fishing Licence, buy a Dancing Fishing Pole from a Animal Goods Vendor, gather Wiggly Worms in the bogs while he waits 27 days, 4 hours, 37 minutes and 54 seconds to learn Pole Dancing, then walk three regions to the nearest Stream Street because he's out of Tokens to Teleport there, wait 12 minutes for the key to spawn for the Stream Street...

... all because he wanted to eat a stupid fish.

  • I am on one of the resource routes and I love it, though I may change to another tree just to have piggies in my front yard. :)
