Bean sacks, egg crates... and other bundles of tree harvests

More inventory suggestions from me... :)

It would be great if tree harvests could be bundled in the same way as grain, with sacks for beans, crates for eggs, and similar things for the other trees (vapor cylinders? bubble bouquets?). 250 per container, and five of those per inventory stack.

It's maybe not as important for garden crops as you don't have to run around as much to collect them, but being able to make 5 by 80 stacks of those as well would make the produce section of the auction house much more useful.

For a bit of game balancing I think the packaging process could have a skill of its own, and maybe require something along the lines of an "all purpose packing peanut" that's consumed when used.

  • +1 for packaged harvests!  I don't think it should be a separate skill, though.  If you can do it for grains, I don't see why you can't do it for other tree and animal harvests.  This would be a HUGE space saver and a godsend for the OCD Glitch (read: me)!

  • I love the idea of the packing peanut!

  • OH MY GOD YES, LET ME HOARD MORE! This way I could keep my beans, cherries, AND altered fruits in the SAME BAG! They take up almost 2 bigger bags just by themselves right now!

Would be damaging to the projects though, most likely, since it would multiply what a single person can feasibly contribute by a lot.

  • I'm pretty sure the amounts required for projects could be tweaked (and they probably should be in any case, as they should get more demanding as the number of players grows).

  • Maybe related, but stumbled upon this old item at the Glitch wiki:
