Loading screens should pause buff/debuff timers

Unsure if it's a bug or a feature request, but generally I often get loading screens "Moving to (place name)". While I understand the servers may be overloaded with so much requests, it is quite annoying when I drink an Earthshaker or just walk in the Ancestral Lands because going through a signpost makes me lose time, sometimes up to 10 seconds.

I think the buff/debuff timer should pause as soon as the "Moving to" screen appears and resume at the very least when the new street loading screen appears; or better, when the next street is actually loaded.

  • There is a flip side to this though as well, cooldown timers would freeze too. Timers like meditation cooldown, teleport cooldown, and ancestral overwhelm timers would take longer for people who have slow connections. The 30 minute ancestral overwhelm timer could become a 45 minute to an hour timer for people still using dial-up connections (if they still exist).

    The timer things should always be handled solely on the server side, to minimize cheats and freezes.
