No longer able to donate/sell piggies?

While I agree to the fact that there is a shortage of piggies in some areas, I find that donating piggies to the Giants helps to gain a lot of favor. Now, because I learned Animal Husbandry, I am willing to raise one pig per every one that I sacrifice, so as not to cause a depletion.

I would like for the ability to donate them to return.  If the problem is a shortage, then perhaps have people donate their own piggies, rather than those on the street, or perhaps use some other method of keeping track of low pig numbers.

  • There are plenty of other things to donate that can net you about as much favor.  I don't understand the fixation on wanting to donate piggies.

  • I would bet that if you total up the favor from the giants that are obtained from donating all the components that go into making a piggie, it would be almost the same favor returned.

And I would vote for the developers to work on other features and things, not for them to dwell on 'the piggy controversy' so to speak.

  • @Joojoo it's easy to understand.  Buy a 25 currant item, get a piggy worth 500 currants for practically no effort.  I'm VERY glad Tiny Speck removed piggy shrine donation from the game.

@Deschutes have you tried donating a piglet?  I don't know if it works, but it's the best value for your raw piggy materials now.

  • piglet still works (last i checked) and that way no depletion is required.

i donate either seasoned eggs or piglets, chicks or caterpillars.
