mouse-over with time left for crops?

So, at the end of the test today, I was standing over my potatoes, which had just a pixel or so to go before they were done. I was really wishing I had a way to know "how long?", so that I didn't have to stand there, you know? Or so that I would know it made sense to stand there, whatever.

I know the time of the world closings is about to end, but this would still be handy in the future... I have to cook dinner, I have to go to work, whatever... should I wait, or should I let it go?

Also, I think you should be able to talk to your plants to help them grow better. :-)

  • I'd like to be able to talk to my plants. That would be cool.  And so would the timer. :)

  • I would love to know how long it takes to grow something. I have a vague idea for some of the veggies. But having an exact time would be nice, even if it's just on the info page or when you buy the seeds themselves.

The green and blue bars are nice but they are so generic for all the veggies. I'm a farmville hold over so I worry that my veggies are going to rot if I don't get to them in time too.

TIMERS WOULD BE THE BESTEST THING EVER!!!

  • Tene, you can see how long it takes to grow any plant (other than trees) on the seed's or seed packet's info.

That said, +1! I'd feel less crop-bound with timers around :)

  • Man..,. I'm brain dead.. lol.. I even checked the encyclopedia to see if the info was there...
I then assumed that I knew off the top of my head that rice grew faster than potatoes....

    But yea...what you said..
Thanks Millie for straightening out my psychicness. I knew I saw it some where...

*going to sit in a corner and ponder*
