Groups & Party Invites

I learned a ton throwing a neighborhood block/quarter party - which I'll post in general because block/quarter parties are a great way to get to know your neighbors. But the most difficult thing for me was doing the mass inviting a specific (established & semi-established) group of people. It is an ideal use of the party space, I think. Though Ur-wide semi-random people is great too.

1) We don't have a way to group our friends (brought up many times before, I know) so I was having to go through and remember who was who and how I knew them. I spent the first 10-20 minutes of the party going through my friends list looking for folks and cross-referencing with a list of people (and oh how a list of who lives on a street would be lovely! not that I mind browsing the realty section and/or walking up & down the street... but there are other ways I'd rather spend my time in :)).

2) An easy way to mass invite groups of people - say a Glitch Group. For example, on the group home page there could be a button that's "invite group to party".  In this case it would have been nice to mass invite everyone who lived on a certain street, though I know that's a very rare & special case and don't expect y'all to implement it (but in a dream world ;))

3) Open/Closed parties. While it wouldn't have been a problem if folks invited friends, the goal of the party was to get to know the folks in the neighborhood. I often attend parties and see people asking if they can invite others (nice!) so it's clearly a though on folks minds. A feature to allow for closed parties and that would inform partygoers would be awesome.

I realize party spaces (love them!) are new & special & being tested... and these are likely on a list you have somewhere with other things I'm not thinking of. But thought I'd mention em here, too :)
