Do you have to play with a full deck of cards to play Glitch?
I will answer my own question based on certain close encounters of the third kind in the game of Glitch.
The answer is a resounding " NO! "................................
i'm trying to figure out whether this post is attempting to insult some number of unnamed people who play glitch, or if it is attempting to compliment them.
ahh .. napabeth was throwing personal insults in a previous thread today, followed by impersonal insults in this topic.
a shame, i legitimately figured this topic was meant in good fun.
a "full deck" sounds like a potential game item. if it was a totally player inaccessible item, it might then really be said that none of us are playing with one : ]
I do believe a full deck and this game will lead to utter frustration which is then taken out in ambiguous threads pointing at persons that only the player with a full deck knows about.
PS... Has anyone seen my 8, 9 and 10 of diamonds, some b*****d stole them.
What delightful and thought provoking responses, my little Glitchinos...How lovely that we can poke fun at each other and continue to be "friends." This community continues to make me smile, as I laugh at the Human Comedy, well, the pig, rock and tree comedy is pretty good also.
I had never heard the 'full deck of cards' saying for sanity - where have I been? But, imo, anyone who claims to have a full deck of cards definitively doesn't have one so...I'm not sure that anyone does :)
Not the brightest lightbulb in the pack, not the sharpest blade in the drawer, elevator doesn't go all the way to the top, a few sandwiches short of a picnic, Ladder missing a few rungs...
Was that me remembering all those insults?
Oh well, wrong, but useful on occasion.... I kind of assumed napabeth might not mind including herself in that group... I know I'm in it on occasion...Nothing in life is permanant. Are we always absolutely the same person or Glitch all the time?
A few French fries short of a Happy meal, of course, sakmet, I include myself and am well known for being a complete and utter Kook....Kookie, Kookie, lend me your comb. I see life as a series of stages, sometimes decades. We have our 20's, our 30's, our 40's, etc. Hopefully each new era brings maturity and awareness so that we do not repeat the mistakes of our errant youth....
Some folks seem lucky to have the use of a full deck,but I doubt those cards are all from the original set...
More colorful descriptions:
-not the brightest crayon in the box;
-thick as two short planks in the fog;
and my own personal fave: out for lunch,not comin' back for dinner.
