Buy Bins

You're a new Glitch, wandering around Groddle, and you see a thing, a bin.  It talks!  It says "Hey, You!  I'll give you 50c for 20 cherries!"  Aha! Something to do!  Maybe the bin even has instructions about harvesting cherries and where to look for cherry trees.  You go off, harvest some cherries and bring them back to the bin.

Somewhere, a level 20 Glitch gets a growl "Your cherry bin is full!"  It only cost them 5000c to buy, they set up the prices and commodity, and wrote the instructions themselves.  They pay the buy-cost when people deposit cherries (or chunks or spice...)  And they get loads of cherries without having to spend the time collecting them themselves.

  • Ooo, I like this - it's a way to get people to do some low-level work AND teach new players how to play without spamming quests AND it's a way for them to make cash.

  • Hmm.  You'd have to limit it to one bin per person, and limit the number per street at one time.  Maybe a cooldown on each street similar to that for capturing piggies?  Maybe it could be a doorstep item?  But that might be nixed depending on how housing changes.

  • It would seem that this would simply be another thing you drop in front of your house. if people are looking for work, they'd check the various house streets to see what people want.
