World map, route length, via points and unvisited street markings.

I woud love the following:
- A world map (so I get a better picture as to how the "continents" link to eachother.) (This is allready being planned)

Added to that:
- Some sort of route length: when marking the route, also mentioning how many streets need to be crossed to get there. (So I more easily can select the herb garden that is closest to me, or the nearest subway)
- Adding "Via" points, to make it easier to make detours through for instance dead-end streets.
- "Unvisited/undiscovered street": markings on the map of streets you have never visited. (In a different colour maybe.) Or an overview page per region of streets you have and haven't visited.

  • I support marking for unvisited/undiscovered street! It's very difficult to figure out where i haven't gone in a map.

  • You can use the Greasemonkey location script to help track visited &unvisited streets (using the Encyclopedia-- the Encyclopedia does fall behind while new streets are being created, but then it does seem to catch up test-by-test):

I too would find an entire world map very helpful.

  • +1 Miriamele!

in other games there is a fog of war where you can only see where you have been.  we might want it to grey out if something changed and we need to revisit to see what is new.

  • These are great ideas!

I would love to have a world map as well, I hope it will come out when the game opens. I also think that having the streets a different color if you have visited/not visited them is a great idea!

  • I like this idea! I would also like the map to include subway stops and "other atypical features" such as the bureaucratic hall or the machine shop. I am hopeless when it comes to remembering where to find ANYTHING, lol.
