Skeleton Key

I would like to be able to mould several keys into one key that would open any one (or more) of the seam street doors. Quite often I find I am carring a bumch of keys but never the right one, consequently I have bags of keys stored home.

My idea is for a skill or potion to allow us to blend together for example 20 mixed keys and produce one skeleton key to open say 15 doors ( figues could be adjusted either way if rare or common keys are used)

  • I agree there is an issue with the morass of keys, but a skeleton key would nerf the gating function the keys provide. I suggest instead that the UI be tweaked either directly or indirectly as a new type of bag.

    What we *really* need is to let people sell into SDBs. This would then let someone set up a marketplace / exchange for keys where sellers could just unload and buyers could just grab the key they needed. The ideal situation a player could come in, sell key A, and then buy key B.

  • Does anybody actually use the frustratingly pointless Keycutter Tonic?

    I submit that it would be helpful to change the mechanic of Keycutter Tonic so that, when poured when standing by a keyed door, a key of any sort that you have in your inventory will be changed so that it can unlock that door.

    Finally a use for that utterly useless potion! Just sayin'.
