Clicking the "Learn new skills" button on Pet Rock should close the dialog

The "Skills" window refreshes, but the dialog stays open in-game. My feelings still stand re: bringing skills in-game somehow, but if we click the "Learn new skills" button, the in-game dialog should close so we can proceed in-world without having to click the "x" to close.

  • In-game has been on their to-do list for a long time, just have to wait until it gets to the top.

  • I quite like it opening as a new page. Flicking back to check how much time is left & the layout of that page. But I guess it'd be more convenient having it in-game...?

  • I want skills to be brought in-game, but I mean in the meantime, the in-game dialog that opens that says, "Hey, you've learned xxx!" and presents a button to learn a new skill doesn't actually close the little dialog. You have to actively click the "x" on Pet Rock's dialog to close that note, and I'd rather the action of clicking the "learn a new skill" (or whatever the wording is) button closes that dialog.

  • so, instead of developing the skills interface twice, once or the game interface and once for the site interface .. is there any reason a minimal version of the site interface couldn't pop up over the game interface in the same tab as an overlay?

maybe there's a browser performance hit when doing an overlay like that? i guess doing it properly is better than something that smells so kludgy, if it does take a while longer to remake the interface.

anyway - i like the web interface because i can operate it from my phone, but bringing it in game is welcome.
