New Areas

Loving that there's more space in Glitch now with new streets in existing areas, and entirely new areas. But I'm really disappointed that there was no street projects. These were always one of my favourite aspects of Glitch in the original Beta. When I saw there was going to be new areas I got so excited about the prospect o projects; only to find that either they were all done within 24hrs, or just weren't there at all. Either way, it makes for an unhappy Duck Bill Platty.

  • Here's a stoot answer about street projects in a thread just down the page: www.glitch.com/forum/genera...

Since they're focused on the Big Change and housing, I think it would've wasted time to have projects on these new areas, especially since they're considering a different system for developing new areas.

  • I hit the permalink button to get it. I guess it didn't copy correctly.

Edit: Err.. following my link takes me right to stoot's response, so I'm not sure where it took you if you thought I didn't use the permalink?

  • It's a shame that the street projects are gone. Like I said, it was one of my favourite parts of Glitch. It was the reason I kept gathering raw materials. Now they just all sit in my display boxes.

  • Yes, yes, there'll be something better "soon". It is still a bummer there weren't at least *some* old style projects this time around.
