I don’t have an issue with TS not liking what I wrote. I posted a complaint---not a major one---but a simple complaint about how the changeover went. Essentially, what I said was that the way the new boxes worked created a huge mess that I didn’t think was necessary. Hours after the release of the boxes, Stoot posted a “before you open your boxes post,” which was, well, late. I then stated that I would have rather waited longer for a better product than get a rushed mess.
Nothing I said was overly critical, and I think many feel the same way. In my case, 100’s of pumpkins, cubimals, and cups of water—yes, cups of water—filled my house. My problem is in the fact that the post was changed. The way that it was changed made it sound less intelligent than necessary. Could anything be done about the change, no, it was too late. But, if another change were going to come, I would like TS to know that this one was subpar. And let’s be real, this is not TS’s first re-release, no reason to believe that it won’t be their last. Additionally, TS has requested feedback on how things are going. Saying this was not going well is true for some of us; especially those who hoard items.
The next post which was changed stated that I was really upset with the staff member who changed it as such, and stated my shock because of how helpful the staff had been up until then. I feel that submitting a bug report to find who changed my post would be pointless. The fact that staff changes posts like this is scary. I even stated, delete the post, but don’t make me sound the way they did. When posts are changed, you can unknowingly alter the meaning and harm the character of the poster. In my mind, this is unforgivable and a horrible business practice. This is not what I paid for.
The huge majority of my time on glitch was positive—I hate for It to end on such a horribly bad note. When I was told to take my rage somewhere else last night, you were right—but my thoughts are that only staff can change a post, where do I take this complaint? To the TS staff who did not change my post, I apologize for some of my statements (though, they were edited as well). I assume that only one staff member committed this egregious act. I shouldn’t have so blindly pointed my finger and so broadly spread my words. Please; however, don’t change the posts of people. I’m fine with you having the power of deleting, but changing is much more harmful to players in game.
