Subscription packages/options? I can't see them as a subscriber

Would someone who is not a subscriber be kind enough to copy/paste the current subscription prices and options? Bizarrely, as a subscriber I cannot see any pricing information or longer-term packages without canceling my current monthly subscription.  I keep hoping a 3-month or 6-month plan will be introduced but I can't get to the subscription page to even check.

  • Seriously, TS, I don't want you to spend ALL your time trying to make money, but can you please just get around to making it possible to renew a subscription when you already have a subscription? You just can't keep making your customer beg and plead to spend money on your site....

  • SchWM, When I was one week from my subscription expiring I got a friendly email with a link to a fully functional subscription renewal page. They're getting there.

  • Lucille, I tried to find prices, but the lower-priced plans are hidden from me too. What if I want to buy somebody a gift sub? I bet signing out & looking at the subscription page will show you everything.

ETA: Oops. I typed too soon. Looks like we've gotta sign in to see the subscriptions :(

    Aaaaand .... Here they are:

  • Thanks, Aleph. That's exactly what I needed.

Thanks for the link to the other thread too, Hobbes4all.  I had read the first handful of posts and didn't go back to read everything else. Lots of good info there.

  • SchWM: as of a few days ago, annual subscribers can renew while their subscriptions are active. As a monthly subscriber, you should automatically renew (unless you opt not to).

Aleph Zero: if you want to buy someone a gift subscription, just hit their profile page and find the link at the bottom (yes, right now, if they already have a subscription you can't give them another, but … someday).

  • And, in general … we will make it easier. We do have expenses to cover ;)

  • What I find frustrating is that I need to go down. I stayed with Copper for a while, but need (and by need, I mean I want to support you guys, so not really a need at all) to go down to Tin. Why isn't there a simple downgrade/upgrade button that will take me to the regular subscription page and allow me to choose?

This is frustrating, and very user unfriendly. Please consider this a priority, if people can't easily pay you, they simply won't pay you.

Of course you all need to make money, so please, make it easy for me to give you money.

  • @MaryLiLamb Thanks! Although I think it's still not the best system, it will do the trick!

Hey TS, can you put that little message above the renew? That way maybe people will see it and not ask the same question over and over. Or post a sticky of some sort.

    Cheers all!
