Nuts to badges!

Has anyone else slipped up and not seized the day when it comes to this beta? I keep missing out on easy completion of some of these badges... and I'm ashamed! I was not here, when we rolled Initiative. For example:

I didn't finish the
-Right Honorable Robber-Ducker
-Trigger-Happy Trap-Duster
-Parchment Purloiner
lines when I had the... opportunity, or the
-World-Class Tree Surgeon
-Paul Bunions
lines. I'm concerned for what Bunions is going to take now.

If I'm not careful, I might wake up to no more peat mounds, too! Or... a limit of 1 Nono a day!

  • Er umm, you still have the opportunity so what the heck do you mean?

  • I got a lot of traps tonight while everyone else was doing street projects. Keep going!

Still haven't figured out the juju badges, though. Like, do I have to jump over them or something? Because I swear I've seen at least 50 of them by now ... I've been jumping over them lately just in case.

  • Saucelah, I mean that when Ancestral Nostalgia wasn't working correctly, I expect many players stuck around inside and finished those badges, and I didn't follow through. As for the tree ones, I just saw the recipes for Poison and Antidote:
Tree Poison is 13 Diabolic Acid, 1 Essence of Rookwort, and 2 Krazy Salts.Tree Poison Antidote is 1 Essence of Gandlevery, 7 Spriggase, 7 Friendly Acid, and 3 Guano. They're going to be way way more expensive and difficult to get ahold of than the bottles in the vendor.

For the Juju badges, you need to escape the street once they've appeared - not sure if you actually need to trigger their threat message, or just see the alert on the left side of the screen.

Really, I'm not that upset; just looking for shared experiences!

  • I don't agree about the "expensive" part.  The only items that take any special effort to make or acquire for those items are the essences, and that's just one or two herb growing cycles.

And you now get 5 uses out of each bottle.

The market will settle down once more people can make them.
