Primuary 1st, Year 0 was April 1st, 2009.
But that begs the question whether or not there WAS a year 0.
Primuary 1st, Year 1 was May 22, 2009.
But of course the name Tiny Speck wasn't announced to to world until July of that year.
Start of alpha is the best date you're going to get as to "when the world started for players outside of Tiny Speck."
July 9/2009 (the day of the announcement) would have been 43rd Widdershins, Year One.
The Startling Fecundity calendar converter goes back to Year Zero, as Lord Bacon-o has said. But it's not clear whether this is because time in Ur started in Year Zero, or whether it's just programmed like that.
I would love to know if time started in Year Zero or Year One, because then I could start doing some serious astrological calculations :D
Here's the place where it says April 1, 2009: developer.glitch.com/docs/t...
...which is "the start of the current calendar". So there was a year 0, at least theoretically, even if there weren't players playing yet.
So:
* Start of the Current Calendar = April 1/2009 or Primuary 1/Year 0
* Tiny Speck is Announced on Twitter = July 9/2009 or Widdershins 43/Year 1
* The Day of Alpha Launch = February 21/2010 or Fever 10/Year 6
But then the original question was about the first day Glitch had players on it, which would be alpha launch, correct? February 21?
Wait, so you are postulating a God who is outside of and beyond the Giants, who in fact created the Giants? Doesn't that make you a heretic or something? :D
