Auctioning used items

Sorry if this has been asked before: if you're auctioning something that's already been used, such as a tool or butterfly lotion, does the player buying it receive it in the same state or as new? Particularly with powders this would affect the actual value of what's being sold.

  • You receive it in the previous state. Not as new.

  • I would like to be able to know if something I am paying full price for has one use or 100

  • Yeah I bought a hallowed shrine powder with exactly *one* use left in it today. Not cool.

  • Interesting.  Perhaps the devs could modify so you know exactly what you're buying.

  • Agree that modifications are needed then. (Think I may be responsible for the hallowed shrine powder. Sorry.) Can't remember who, but someone earlier today bought a broken Tinkertool and was not best pleased!

  • Interesting... so they *are* as-is.

  • If there were some way to "inspect" the goods before you bought them.
    Or
If there was a seller rating system

You might find less of this happening.

  • Oh hey andonida. That's okay :) All auction listings need are more specific details.
