A glitch without a home!

I sold my bog house because my skin was getting a little too moist and wrinkly, you know? I was going to move to Patchouli Preamble because I love the name, probably the 4200 block. But now that I'm househunting, I see that most of the houses there are empty!

Where can a girl find a nice quiet pretty place to call home and have some friendly neighbors who like hanging out, drinking cocktails and bouncing on rainbows?

  • Reminds me of when I was house hunting after finally making 50,000 currents. While I was saving up I fell in love with Lavu Lane mainly because I like saying it out loud but then all the houses I wanted were gone... but then I found Nia Sra, yet another name I love to say out load and have been happy ever since! :3

I'm not sure what's the most populated housing nowadays other than the bogs, and you just got out of there... I think my suggestion is to hone your search in the Groddle area possibly. I feel like out of all the housing, Groddle Forest and Meadow always have plentiful Glitch communities :)

In beta I lived there In Marylpole Mount beautiful street and lovely people. :D

  • I live in Jolken Jank in Kiju. The Jank is nice, but the homeowners association is very quiet.

  • Why 4200?

  • I find that a lot of different places you can go and never meet a single neighbor. When I lived on 4400 Ukon Cognate, I met at least 5 different neighbors and befriended one of them (great person too!) but it was hard to catch any of them! Then I moved to Toisi Trappings for a couple weeks, never met a neighbor there, though. Then I moved for the last time, into a new cottage in Groddle Meadow on Prestnash Thrash and was all by my lonesome for quite a while, but now I have 3 neighbors, and one is a friend of mine, and I've seen another neighbor out and about Groddle Meadow and said howdy to them when they talked in Global but I think they missed me. I've lived in three different cottages now, and I love them all equally, but finding good neighbors and meeting your neighbors is pretty hard, since everyone has different times they're on and such.

  • Lemo -- I am partial to the number 42, which is why I was thinking of the 4200 block.

When I lived in my treehouse, there was a little bit of activity and then my friend left me goodies with a note on my doorstep and someone took it all. That was sad. Then I got excited about the herbs, so I was in Tana Trample and as soon as I moved in, I left a note on my neighbor's doorstep and never saw a soul or got a reply note. And then, there was the soggy factor. Maybe everybody's paper was too wet to write on.

Anyway, I will continue my search. Thanks! I am going to check them all out! thanks everybody...I am so excited to go house hunting now!

  • I just try to leave stuff for my neighbors. I never see them (3400 Poorna Plea) but I put together the first goodie basket (made of drinks and a common cubi couldn't give food or the pigs would munch it up!) and didn't hear but from 1 person. Some stuff even stayed for days and days before being picked up. So I tried again. This time I bought quite a few gift boxes, put a full meal from an "appetizer" to dessert in them. And a cocktail and and coffee for after dinner and even a flaming humbaba and an earthshaker. If was a huge gift but I'm a chef so I always have tons of extra drinks and food hanging out. This time I actually heard from people and one guy even sent me a gift of 10,000c! Totally unexpected. But now my neighbors no I exist =)

  • It is getting very difficult now to find neighbors. I have lived on the same street since about the 4th day of play, and it has been sold out since about a week in. Over time, I have met many of my neighbors but only a couple are still active in the game. This alone is a good reason for the new home / neighborhood design Stoot referrs to.

  • I know it's not what you're asking for, but when the housing reset comes the signposts on your personal 'street' will all point to your friends, so that problem will be partly solved.   The other thing is that come that reset, what you'll be wanting is imagination so you can imagine your lot and land.  You'll get a portion of your home price allocated in imagination, so all other things being equal you should consider buying as much house as you can afford in order to maximize this imagination refund.
