  • Honestly, best price you might bargain for a GNG these days is 300K; but most on offer have gone for minimum 400K; more for 500K and at least one (Casarat's) for 600K.  I do not think the market on these is going to collapse any time soon.

    Further, something like this is only a "rip-off" if you care more about currants than you do about the item you are purchasing.  For me, 600K currants is not a difficult amount to gather, but GNG are few on the ground these days. I could probably have found one for less if I put in a whole lot more work in finding and negotiating for one, but that's a process that's fraught with uncertainty and anxiety, and so not having to do that is actually worth more to me than my time in game spent gathering currants.

    Thanks Simplin for such a painless transaction experience! I was quite grateful for the opportunity to buy, and was so pleased I managed to reply to one of these threads fast enough.
