Yes BIG! And there must be even more beyond the edges of the map too - I'm sure those continents don't just end with a straight line across the ground and blackness beyond...
Man, I keep looking at it and thinking "How are we going to get around?!?"
We need boats and airships (or other flying transportation--perhaps a butterfly brigade....). And, hopefully, an extended subway system. T_T With a stop in Tamila.
Was just studying the world map, and noticed that the subway maps have changed to be more in line with the world map (the Eastern Approach station was moved in the subway line location from between Somewhat Sump and GFJ to between Gregarious Grange and Jutuan Central).
However also noticed that the 'ferry' lines don't match up with the current jumps between the islands/mainlands...will these be changed also in game or do the 'ferry' lines need to be redrawn? For example, there is a link shown between Uralia and Chakra Phool which doesn't exist, and the Uralia to Groddle Forest link is missing.
So - Map Shows the following 'Ferry' links:
Uralia to Ix*
Uralia to Chakra Phool
Ix to Groddle Meadow(ish)*
Groddle Heights to Alakol*
Groddle Forest to Alakol
Groddle Forest to Jethimadh (or a new region south of there)
Current In Game Links are:
Uralia to Ix*
Uralia to Groddle Forest
Ix to Groddle Meadow*
Ix to Groddle Forest
Groddle Heights to Alakol*
Groddle Meadow to Shimla Mirch
Groddle Forest to Shimla Mirch
* Indicates Map and Current In Game links are the same
Just curious if there are some access to regions changes coming...
Is the world round or flat I wonder! Do we have another world to explore after this? Can we get to another giant imagined world?
I think I need to learn levitation quickly to visit another world!
I propose that, like the imaginings of Giants seem to me to be, it is neither flat nor round. I mean, it's definitely at least bumpy (there are heights and deeps!), so flat is out. Perhaps an oblate spheroid or even an eccentic hypercube...
What a great World Map! As I browse through it I get a better idea of what the world of Glitch looks like and its format. I especially like that the types of tree's growing in certain areas are shown; for example: I now know that Tamala has Bean and Cherry trees, Groddle Heights has Bean, Cherry and Egg Tree's. By looking at the map you can find the nearest Wood tree to you or any kind of tree. The map tells me where the Subway's are and it helps me in planning my day and set my path so I can get all items I need in one trip. There are so many advantages to looking at the map including finding where I might want to purchase a home. I highly recommend the use of this map. If you highlight on the magifying glass it will magnify the map for better visibility.
I commend Acreditando for a job well done! You may also view map at : www.glitch-strategy.com/wik...
