What do we do when we've done everything? Once you buy the biggest house and learn all the skills there seems to be no more reason to log in for more than a minute or two to check your house. The quests come with the skills so once you're done....well you're done.
I love this game because it has so many possibilities but it seems that once you've finished the basics there's a wall preventing exploration of those possibilities. You can easily make money and keep learning the skills. But what do you do after that?
So that's where our fine Glitchian minds come into play. I have several ideas I'd like to post here but I'm only 1 glitch. There are lots of us here in Ur and if we all have a place to safely bounce around ideas. I'm sure we can come up with all sorts of things for the devs to look at and hopefully put in to our beloved game.
A few of my ideas so far have been things like adding in a wood working skill branch from engineer so we can do something with those planks aside from cook fish and splank each other. Maybe build new furniture. Some extra storage cabinets, a green house for planting in tight spaces, maybe even a bed we can rest in 1-2 times a day for energy. How about putting community gardens and workshops in the housing quarters. Make them only available to the neighborhood residents so that you don't have people stealing pigs, crops and such. Even the apartments could benefit. Add a top floor garden with trees an animal pen and some crop plots or a green house.
I've herd people talk about pets or even new animals for herding. There's also a demand for decorations. Tie them all in with skills. Animal husbandry can allow for something like a sheep. Sheep= wool= rugs/ curtain/ tapestries etc.
I think the biggest things is what to do with our homes. Why not add in building permits so we can add on or remodel our homes? We can have something to put our money into by making the different permits available for purchase. Put a vendor in the bureaucratic halls and for each different feature we want to add to the permit it will cost a certain number of resources and currents. That way its customizable. Say you want a basement in your cottage you can select how many patches you want. Or do you want an herb garden or a peat bog? Charges resources to build it and currents for the work.
There are so many possibilities and I can't think of them all by myself so lets keep adding on here. Maybe one of you will think of something that will create ideas in us all. I will be back to update as new ideas occur to me. I'm looking forward to see what we can make of our wonderful world of Ur!
