A finalist round?

Well since there are three animals that are really close (alpaca, sloth, fox) how about we get to have a finalist vote where we vote among those three and the two with the highest win? And how about anyone can vote, but only once and you don't need the vote casting things obtained from subscribership.

  • I hope the fox doesn't win...get enough of them in the garden... :(:(:( they're a big pain in the bum here.

  • Agree with Casarat. A fox got my chickens early one Christmas morning. My kids were very young and I didn't want to upset them so had to tell them the chickens had gone travelling.

    Bad foxes.

  • On the other hand, a fox that gets the chickens could clean up some of the more crowded streets of Ur...

    Just kidding.  Sort of.

Well, while it's not like these three animals are at exactly identical votes and it will be easy to pick the top two based on the numbers, a vote off would probably make everyone feel a whole lot better!

On the other hand, it would also draw out the suspense and the bickering...

  • No foxes.

  • Well, it looks like we're going to have foxes.  But, being Glitch, well, they're going to be Glitchy foxes.

  • Well we have two animals that can be in the game.
And I used Paint to zoom in on the bars and Fox and Sloth are approximately tied!

  • It doesn't look to me like we're going to have foxes.  Many of us have lots of votes left to use at the last minute to sway the election.  Super PACs at the ready.

  • Ah!  Well then, this will continue to be fun to watch!

  • Then you must also consider those of us who don't have any votes left because we've voted on this subject already ... a second vote does not seem fair ???

  • Yeah, the way things work around here, a finalist round would have to be scheduled for next month.

  • Well we could all vote even without subscibership or ballot casting things.

  • Can't we just have three instead of two new animals?! ;)

  • All three would be nice too. But TS said only two.

  • Again, remember: This is just now. All the animals may appear in the future.

  • Personally, I would like to discover that the smugglers are actually rats. That would be awesome. Rats vs Bureacrocs!

I don't see how it possibly makes sense to negate one of the few benefits that subscribing gets you

  • Shhexy corin is right.  It would seriously alienate the subscriber base to let us spend all our cash-paid votes to choose these animals, only to override the results with a free general election.

  • I would imagine that just because it looks like its tied on our end, doesnt mean it really is on their end.

  • There are numbers behind the bars. It is unlikely that there will be a true tie. Let's live with the actual results, with good grace, shall we?

  • I don't even have votes and all this talk of rule changing after people have spent theirs is making me twitchy.
