Wowza! If I am this excited, I can only imagine how you must be feeling Stoot! Amazing stuff coming our way!!
Thank you Stoot and Tiny Speck, of course you know YOU RAWK!
Awn, won't be learning? I thought it would stay, and wouldn't be top middle, but... I liked it learning for me :(
-reluctantly gets pencils and textbooks ready-
Also, I assume the infinite item storage will be sorta things we can craft, like cabinets/storageboxes, and we can choose an item for it? So we could store my 200+ hoard of DB1s, or crabpod headphones, etc. If so, would we be able to choose ANY item, or would it have to be from a list (so common items like meat, milk, cherries etc.).
Sturminator: nope — not part of R2, but we're still thinking about it. Some of the upcoming additions will make a difference to how people perceive and want to make use of their home streets.
Well, in the next six weeks, is there a time estimate of when things may be happening to start? Cause the last I heard it was eight weeks, but that was almost eight weeks ago... SOB.
I have quests that currently show XP as part of the reward when completed if I hold onto them and complete them after the conversion from XP to imagination will they then give imagination as part of the reward instead? I'm trying to decide if I want to start working on them now or just wait a bit longer.
A servant?! A helper buddy to assist me and keep me company in my lonely hours?! Oh, TS, you truly are an amazing group. Pardon me while I go brainstorm names for my new friend.
"This release will include the ability to expand & add floors to your house"
Will those of us currently using our new Attic spaces for storage need to move the stuff out before adding floors? Might it disappear or something if we don't remove items before adding a new floor, or will the current attic simply move up to the top of the next level we add, all items intact?
Lemo: first it'll be more like Flickr (really, more like Twitter's photo sharing since it will largely happen through updates). Later we will find a way to bring them into the game.

Adding a photo-sharing function onto a game? Haven't we been here before? LOL
Seriously though, all sounds great. I'm excited for all the new features... some of them cos I can't wait to use them, some of them cos I've got no clue what the heck they mean!
To me, keebae's question makes a lot of difference, because I'm at level 60, and haven't been able to earn XP for a while. If XP will be replaced by imagination, and if I'll be able to earn imagination later on, then it doesn't make sense for me to complete quests or get badges now.
Well I'm excited and all but it sounds like you're changing way more of the game than I would like. Especially this,
"we’ll launch an overhauled and simplified UI for the game"
I .. like the UI the way it is. :<
I also like my character the way he is.
I really hope this isn't going to be as bad as it sounds. I've had too many games that I've loved get ruined when the people in charge decided to fix what aint broke. :<
glum pudding: I wasn't thinking of level 60s. But, even then, I wouldn't say it makes a "big" difference ... the biggest it could possible make is 0.02% since that's the largest quest reward divided by the total amount of XP at level 60.
(Unless the "Whole Lotta Love" quest is actually in the game, which could make a difference of up to 0.2%.)
Can I say I like the idea of sharing snapshots being a bit like on Flickr. I love flickr. :)
Ya know, the only downside to Glitch, it cuts into my knitting/crocheting time. If only my assistant/servant will make it so I get some more time to knit/crochet. :)
Joe Blow: Sloth & Fox will be critical parts of the ecosystem for furniture crafting so they will be part of the second batch of R2 features. But, you will never find 'em in your house.
I noticed this sentence in the "Imagination" release: "You will be able to to grow your property, expand your house, add furniture and cultivate resources “for keeps”."
Does that mean that during R2 ("expand & add floors to your house, enlarge and change the style of your yard and exterior street, cultivate your land to add resources and customize & change the style of your house exterior") are not permanent?
I don't know what to say. This is amazing. TS is amazing. Updates are amazing. Glitch is amazing. Squee, can't wait to build my multi floor dream house complete with loyal helper! (can I have a greeterbot? Please oh please?) This all... wow. All the stuff that's been "soon" has a "when."
do we get to name the slave who does all the crafting and whatnot? :D (sorry if it's already been asked, all I read was stoot's OP and replies and I didn't see it)
