Nice idea, Alpha/Beta players keep same home with a token given

I love the fact Stoot said in a few months we can enlarge our house or yard."Great idea." Something I would love to see is for the gift of being in Alpha and Beta be given a token so after the reset those with a token can get their house back,of course no inventory or anything else as reset takes most away,This is a great incentive I would think personally. For all the frustrations in Alpha and Beta with crashes ect ect ect.But am thoroughly very happy to hear Stoot say we will be able to enhance our living areas.

  • As sweet as it sounds and as attached as people get to their places of residence, I actually think this concept gives longer term players an unfair advantage. Such a premise would negate the need for any bureaucracy learning and set up a different 'class of citizen' with an immediate advantage. The knock-on potential for rather ugly clique behavior is massive, and could be interpreted as elitist. Add to that the potential for 'consuming' all of the top end houses, leaving no one with a fair chance of obtaining one is also a risk. I'm of the opinion that keeping certain custom items and the free credits we already received, plus the doubling perks are more than enough acknowledgement for our efforts and no further advantage should be given to alpha or beta testers. As much as we all want to feel special, knowing we are is enough.

  • I agree with Travinara.  It would be better for everyone to start with a more or less blank state.  Besides the few items/trophies we get to keep, all the testers are starting the game again with knowledge of how the game works and how to get stuff :) and that is pretty valuable.

  • The whole idea of the re-set is to let everyone start on an equal footing.

This idea makes some players more equal than others.  I'm against it.

  • I'm against it too. I started playing sometime during the beta and already felt like the old alpha testers had an advantage over me, if not in currants then in knowledge. Let's not add material advantage to it as well.

  • House, no house.  It really doesn't matter because WE WON'T ALL BE STARTING OFF EQUAL.  Alpha, even Beta testers have an advantage by knowing what skills to learn, where to go, what to do.  So what's the big deal if we keep our houses?  In fact wouldn't it be advantageous to the new people coming in when the game goes live if the people with experience aren't all running around trying to get the first few skills and enough currants so they can buy houses.  Who will have the time to help new people?

  • You can get the most expensive house in a few hours without a lot of effort.  I'm not sure how Help will work when the game goes live.  There was talk of it being 1-on-1 awhile back.

I get to live my live over again with full memory of my previous life - ah, the joy of reincarnation!
