Crash on loading Eastern Approach

I'm using the debug flash (OSX/Seamonkey), and been having various issues on and off, but this latest one has got me stumped. When entering Eastern Approach, the client crashed with the following error:

onLoaderError: "Eastern Approach" c2.glitch.bz/locations/zutt...

Error: onDecoSWFFail after 3 attempts
    at com.tinyspeck.engine.control.engine::DataLoaderController/onDecoSWFFail()[/Users/eric/TinySpeck/svn/clientNew/src/com/tinyspeck/engine/control/engine/DataLoaderController.as:71]
    at com.tinyspeck.engine.loader::ThreadLoader/onLoaderError()[/Users/eric/TinySpeck/svn/clientNew/src/com/tinyspeck/engine/loader/ThreadLoader.as:203]

The downside is that since this is very early in the page load, it doesn't try to reconnect (unlike some other loading errors I've had), thus I can't move to another location. Reloading and restarting the browser have no effect, as I always have to resume in Eastern Approach, which crashes, so I can no longer play :(

Is anyone else experiencing this issue, or is it just my glitch that's stuck?

  • We saw a number of errors generated from your attempts to load that street; but nothing was conclusive about it. I tried it with your player yesterday and was able to do so pretty easily, so we don't think it was account related.  If you still have a problem with that street in the next test, let us know.

  • I'm having a similar issue attempting to load Ix. It was working fine all day but now i'm stuck at the loading screen and cannot get any further. I've tried refreshing, clearing my cache and restarting my computer.
    I'm using Flash 10.3 r200 version 10.3.200.6. I'm on Chrome OS version 587.44 with Chrome Browser 13.0.782.38

    I'd say it was an error on my end if it wasn't for the fact that it had been working all day no problem, and then it suddenly stopped when I tried to enter a new area, with no updates on my end or change in settings.

  • I actually fixed this error by using a different browser to get the location loaded, then went back to my normal browser once I was somewhere else. I think it's a problem with something cached in the local browser/flash client that's either corrupted or not loaded correctly.

  • I had the same issue trying to exit Uncle Friendly's in Ix. Strange thing is the place worked fine in Firefox. After I got out I went back into Uncle Friendly's, and tried exiting again with Google Chrome. Froze up again.
