[fixed] High class hoe and Grand Ol' Grinder cannot be used in street projects

If you don't have a regular hoe or grinder you get told that you don't have a working hoe or grinder.

  • Sorry if ive missed a change, but the mining work units also sometimes require a normal (not fancy) pick. This seems silly too, was it/will it be changed..?

  • This isn't fixed. I'm working on a project now that requires grinding. I got rid of my old grinder in favor of a grand ol' one, and it won't let me do that work.

  • Those project street vendors are total hipsters. "The new grinders just don't powder the way the old ones did."

  • Same thing happens with the Fancy Pick!

  • Ok- so Shepherdmoon- projects require specific tools, along the lines of what Flirty noted. So if the project required a normal grinder, that's what you need in your inventory.

    Flirty, that has not changed.

But, the bugs that prevented the higher capacity tools from working, has itself been fixed. :)

  • Kevbob, don't know why you made that decision. We carry around too many tools as it is-- forget the upgrades, there are too many tools period. Requiring the worse versions for some projects adds nothing to the game.

  • Can we get a tool box with alot more spaces in it so we can carry this enormous number of tools around? Right now, I don't want to buy the fancy versions because I don't want to waste the inventory space on them. The toolbox should probably have more space in it than a bigger bag anyway, to make it worth it to buy it.

  • That's a good idea, but it just treats the symptoms. There need to be fewer actual tools in this game.

  • Shoehorn, your Ideas thread was the right place for that, thanks. :)
