We have a subway route map now, but it's not available once you're actually in the subway. Would it be possible to have the maps available while you're riding the subway?
I talked to someone on staff in the Live Help about the same issue. He said the subway map is likely, but I just wanted to point on here that one of the main confusion issues for me is the fact that it doesn't display the region for the stops. As a user, if I'm traveling somewhere, I remember its location by its region, not by its associated subway stop.
There are pros and cons to displaying the region title and I think its ultimately a design issue. By leaving them off, it's up to the player to identify his stop, and memorize its name. It might increase player immersion, knowing every subway trip they might have check the map before boarding and double check while waiting in the car. It makes it feel like a real world.
But on the other hand, it would make it a lot easier and decrease frustration to help spell it out. If I check the name of the stop, and try to memorize "It starts with an T" and then I look away and watch TV a bit or something, I might completely forget the name of stop. It is a bit hard to remember names in a game where 90% of the names are gobbledygook. But if the whole point of my trip was to get from Bortola to Groddle Heights, its much easier to remember "get off at Groddle Heights."
I agree, there should be a map in the subway or at least the region name in the stop info. In the meantime I still use the workaround.
Click on a glitch's name (in chat or friends list), go to info, click on their location or their home and the map will pop up. It's not a fix, but a temporary workaround. This also works in homes that don't have maps.
