  • Wow, those are amazing places! I'd love to see a waterfall into a cave in Glitch!

  • Man made rather than natural but something like ancient ruins, tombs or pyramids would be fun to explore.

    Or a jungle maybe.

  • A desert!

  • Looks like some good inspiration.

  • Could do a whole region as a desert and then have a pyramid in the middle like Jeth tower to explore.  Maybe set it up with a LOT of short hallways and doors but they are a maze and the door assignments are different for each glitch, somewhat like finding the ghosts.

  • How about Fingal's Cave?

Please feel free to post links to remarkable places, too.

  • I think it would be nice to have a little archipelago (a group of islands), including a little port (a harbor) with boats we could embark on to travel between the different islands! It would be like a holiday destination, with beach landscapes & spots where we could go swimming & even fishing, & bungalows with unique features & facilities / deco (like a swimming pool) that we could rent for currants for a limited period of time! It would be like a Glitch version of the Maldives islands!
    ^^

  • A beach would be nice. Any sandy beach will do :)

  • I'd like a stream with stepping stones across it, and we can hop from stone to stone to cross the stream.  With little fishies jumping out of the water from time to time. :)

  • China Danxia would be remarkable.

  • Geothermal Hot Springs

Glitches flying up in the air on a geyser. Jumping over bubbling mud. Sitting in colorful hot spring pools. Sliding down lava flows. Ancient bones peaking out of the landscape.

  • "You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike"
(I guess we kinda have that already in the Tower)

I like the idea of islands linked by bridges - maybe we could have a troll that comes out from under the bridge occasionally.

And yeah - oceans, beaches... yum yum!

  • +1 to Ooola's idea, I would love to wander around colorful hotsprings with old fossils and bones everywhere!
I love the troll under the bridge thing too, they should come out and ask you riddles from time to time :) And I agree, we need beaches!

  • Meteora or Mount Athos in Greece. Imagine a monastery dedicated to your favorite giant perched on an isolated rock.

  • A giant sinkhole where Friendly does the washing up from last night's party

  • I just want a water realm, where everything is underwater ala Nylon Phool. Or, at the very least, we have to jump over the cliffs to avoid falling in, similar to Mucid Memes. And we can fish! And have water skills!

C'mon. It's the archeological remains of Jam!
Which, you know, sounds kind of glitchy.
    MMM. Jam.

  • I'm a bigger fan of the Marshall Islands than the Maldives, but at this point, I'll take just about any sandy beach...love love love the white beaches of western FL and the panhandle.

How about a Grand Canyon to hike to the bottom of or a K2 to climb?  Any thoughts for some Glitchy Ski Slopes?

  • wow-ee oola - that geothermal hotspings link above is amazing!!
( grr.. my bucket list of "places i want to travel to " just got longer! ) .
    :D
I really want a tea garden area .. think the Tea House theme from google :
    www.google.com/ig/directory...
.in essence a cute Japanese flavored tea garden with cute critters in it (note the fox in the google version! ;) I would happily wear my best kimonon and stay in that land quite a lot!

I support a submerged underwater area too .
and a beach area also that is a full beach area -that is not submerged. www.postercheckout.com/Pict... . :D

  • While I absolutely want a water area, I'd also love to see a city/town type area. Something full of buildings, not just a bureaucratic hall here or there.

  • I would love a region of Ur with architecture like Sagrada Familia.
Posted 9 months ago by Empyreal Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Kay, fine. I want the West Village.
Preferably Jones St, which is one block long, between Bleecker and West 4th.
    Near Ottomanelli's, Murray's and Faicco's.
    Also Mahmoun's Falafel.
And between the blue and red lines.
    Near Washington Square.
And that awesome Belgian Frite place.
And Bagels on the Square near Carmine.

Oh, and the two Italian bakeries that make the best frickin' cannolli on the planet.

  • Pamukkale.  And I agree that we need a beach and a Grand Canyon.  Or even better, Havasu Falls.
Posted 9 months ago by Galnoir Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I just want a seaside locale where I can actually get into the surf! It could be rocky, sandy, red, white, whatever!
Posted 9 months ago by Pyrrhocorax Subscriber! | Permalink
  • @Galnoir... Pamukkale is amazing... fascinating and otherworldly. Thanks! I'd never seen/heard of it.

My fingers are crossed for waterfalls and surfing on beaches too.
