harvest glitch tombstones for stone for houses

Ok, this is perhaps in bad taste, but what if we had the glitch tombstones back... and you could harvest them for stone for the housing? It isn't like glitches die for good....

...and it makes for an interesting supply. You only get new stone in the game from people traveling to hell. Am sort of fascinated by the economics of that.

  • It's creepy, but I kind of like this.

  • I cannot even say how much I love this idea. I want to build an entire house of vandalized gravestones, faded hearts, dead emo bears, and amputated lips.

  • I kind of like this too.
It made me think of St. George's Fields--site of the former Woodhouse Cemetery--at the University of Leeds, where the flat headstones (like our glitchy ones) were taken up and laid as pathways, while the larger monuments were all moved off to cluster amongst the bushes lining some of the paths. None of the cemetery's inhabitants were moved, so this unusual, quiet, open "park" on the uni campus is still home to close to 100,000 "residents".

ETA: this isn't my photo, but it's a neat one all the same.

  • This is so dark, and I love it :) Yes please, thank you.

Would we be mining the gravestone with our picks for plain rock? Which we could then change in a Rock Tumbler to other more build-y rocks like granite, and, counter-intuitively, to man-made materials like (returning) bricks and concrete cinderblocks?
