Did anyone else notice

That when the bubble font progress bars and/or the "gardening is a leisurely activity message" arrived that the war of herbs on the forums basically disappeared??? I haven't seen not one thread crying that someone stole the herbs because of the new signs. Only threads about the new things. Now when the next super small update comes that will be #1 topic and everything else will fade away ...
Point I'm trying to make: if everyone forgot about ____ so quickly was it really that big of a deal to begin with? O.o

  • The reason that it has stopped is because there is now a time delay, to pick the herbs. They cannot be snatched away from you.

  • There's also been a batch of swamp houses released recently.  That's probably helped as well.

  • "So migrant gardeners can have time to admire their work, public plots'll be locked to the seed planter for 60 seconds after harvestin time."

  • yeah but the wording is awkward ^^

Maybe I need to brush up on my English. no-one else think it can also be interpreted as the planter won't be able to harvest for 60 seconds when the herb pops up??

i.e "the TV channels are now locked to them"

  • In other words: the person who plants the seeds has 60 seconds where no-one but themselves can harvest the herbs, and after 60 seconds, the herbs are up for grabs....

  • When I use my non-Computer Science thinking, I can see where you're coming from psibertus. See, any CS major will tell you the owner of a lock {on something} is the only one allowed to change it.

"The seed planter will have exclusive access to harvest public plots for 60 seconds."
