Better house caching

So, everyone has huge stacks of stuff in their house, and it takes a while to load. I think it would be nicer if the game threw up a static picture of all your furniture and possessions, and then loaded the items for real. Unless you were trying to interact with the stuff, you wouldn't even notice the lag (except that the blue outlines wouldn't show up around nearby objects, but I wouldn't mind that).

If you loaded items in some sort of geometry-based order, you could figure out if the user was trying to press enter over an object that hadn't been loaded yet, and give them a temporarily empty menu that is obviously loading (like you get when mining rocks sometimes).

  • +`!  Although, maybe the load time will be better when all of our stuff can be stored in SDB's and cabinets.k

I also think it would be good if there were less load time between the house and the home street.
