Abolish Resource destructive, simultaneously released quests.

Super Harvest for Jellisacs? Really?  Do you know how many jellisacs it takes to score a SH?  Anybody gone to the firebogs lately to see how decimated the jellisacs are at any given moment?

All Quests that require each Glitchen to over-harvest resources for the sake of Quests should be abolished!

  • Yeah, that was unfortunate timing into a population that already had the requisite skills to trigger the quests. Booom! Bye-bye jellisacs!

It would be much better to roll those quests out over a period of days or weeks to different segments of the population. (By level, maybe?)

  • I don't think this is a problem. If you are able to log on at non-peak times (particularly the morning in US time zones) ALL the jellisacs are ripe. Even during peak times, the jellisacs in Chakra Phool and Kalavana are less frequented than in Shimla.

  • We are in beta again. Its not going to be a regular thing where a quest gets mass appointed  and it will be even less when we launch again

  • I was glad they gave us new quests at all.

  • @IrenicRhonda That's true only if there's no reset. If there's no reset, you'll still have masses of folks at approximately the same (relatively advanced level) all learning whatever new skills are released and wanting to complete whatever new quests go along with them.

  • They are pixels, and it just calls for patience. Some challenging quests are a nice balance for the super easy ones. It is my opinion to keep them. If you found all the ghosts on your own, then waiting for some goo is a breeze.

  • This will be less of a problem in the future, as those quests will be auto-generated as new Glitchen acquire those skills, rather than simultaneously released to all Glitchen who already learned the skills earlier but got no quest at the time.

In other words, this is a problem that will resolve itself with time, and it probably does not require any changes to be made, because it won't always be an issue like it is now.

Same with the release of new Skills and the mad rush that we are seeing as everyone simultaneously rejoices in new stuff to learn and do and then all try to do the same quests all at once: new players will get to those Skills gradually and not necessarily at the exact same moment, so there will be less competition for resources and fewer squabbles over (currently) limited amounts of resources and public spaces.
