Do sloths only eat metal rods?

That would be my impression, yet I noticed the "feeding" dialog is structured like you could choose something else to (otherwise it would be "how many rods?"). Any naturalist out there knows the answer?

  • We can only feed them metal rods, but I suspect they supplement their diets with other things.

  • I wish when we would say feed, it would just feed instead of having to click on metal rods also, since that is all they eat!!!

  • you can drag rods onto them, I find that's the easiest way to have 2 sloths on the go at once

  • Apparently they particularly like eating fresh-made rods - take your metal machine out to a sloth tree and see - make sure the music feature of your machine is enabled.

  • @OMG BACON!!, Who doesn't eat bacon. It's a sin not to eat bacon.

  • The boring answer is that the same "picker" menu format is using for anything, even if there's only one type of thing you can actually use in that context. See also spinning fiber - what else am I gonna spin, and yet it always asks.

  • Bring every item to the sloth and see which item is used to feed it.
