Please make everything auctionable, for the sake of chat, or create a trading post

I understand there might be reasons to not want emblems, cubimals, and other things auctionable, but the reality is, people will trade or sell them regardless.  And when they do, they spam global.  Just now, the same person has been advertising emblem trades/purchases every five minutes on global chat.  This is ridiculous. And shouldn't be necessary.

If you don't want items sold, set up a trading post so that someone can post an item (or items) and specify that they want X number of X item(s) in trade. If someone else offers up the desired trade items, the trade happens similar to an auction item being purchased.  I have seen a similar thing in another game, and would be happy to point devs in that direction if they wanted to see it.

  • Ideally, everything should be auctionable. People won't watch a Trading Post chat, and if they do it's always a mess in every game I ever watched / played. People right now can create public groups that allow for trading / buying items (like emblems) but even in those there are few / any players. Setting up an auction ability for any in-game item would be soooooo much better.

  • Please make some kind of system to sell/trade emblems and cubimals, because the specialized groups don't work well, people consider spam to use the general forum and global chat, and it's just too hard and time consuming to trade these items.

  • It is a restriction that people WILL find work-arounds for, and those work-arounds can be highly annoying to a lot of other players.

It was originally a good idea to not allow auctioning of these items, but that idea has backfired with forum and chat spam. Perhaps it should be reconsidered.

  • A "Trade" forum is sorely needed.
