I know I'm not the only one annoyed by the current sorting method...which is to say, there isn't really one. I would love it if there were a system in place where we could create "rules" for each bag and what would auto-sort into it. Perhaps a checklist system where we could select from broader "categories" of items which would auto-sort into a bag (such as "food" or "ores") all the way to being able to set more specific auto-sort options/rules that let us dictate down to every particular item ("Awesome Stew," "cabbage," "cheese," "chunk of beryl," and so forth).
This could be presented as an "outline format checklist" system of sorts in a pop-up window for each particular bag. You would put a checkmark next to each particular item/category that would be allowed to auto-sort itself into each particular bag. Overflow can either auto-sort into the next available bag duly marked, or it can overflow in the same manner as currently enabled (from left to right).
This should hopefully allow those who don't care to continue using the system as-is. For those requiring/wishing for a little more control and convenience, they can get as deep into it as they would like.
Thoughts? Other suggestions? I know something has to be done; I've seen plenty of others voicing similar opinions on a needed bag system overhaul.
