...That's all I've done for the past three days. Its by far the best thing devs have added to the game, (excluding bacon for the future.) I like the fact that you don't have to bring anything with you to catch fish, unlike fox brushing, and the frantic spacebarring to snag the fish (or boot.)
My tactic to catching fish:
I hide out in Indri Slope, home to 17 salmen, and I usually like to go salmoning alone, with maybe a couple friends. There is a ledge at the top right corner, and I either do two things:
1.) Go AFK and wait for the fish to come to me
Or
2.) Use eyeballery to look around the area and see where the fish are at
I usually go by #2, and once I've spotted the fish, I get ready to intercept. If the fish are at the top, I come from the bottom, and if the fish are on the bottom, I come from in front. The only down side to #2 is that sometimes, when you find the fish, no matter where yu are, nce you get over to where the fish are, they disappear and are now on the opposite side of the screen. Maybe its a spawning thing or a bug, but whatever it is, I don't like.
But enough about me, what are you tactics and/or what do you like/dislike about the salmon? I love how when you set them free, they're all like, "YAY!"
