Mini games with landscape views of streets

There is a game inside the banner of this site's home page: jayisgames.com/

Something like this, but using the landscape views of the levels (that premiered in the loading screens in yesterday's test).

  • I think this is a great idea! +1

The only problem I could see is the length of the loading screens. I feel like they really aren't there long enough for any sort of mini game to be feasible. Maybe if there was a game while it loads, and after the loading is completed, you have the option to continue to play, or have a clickable option to move into the street.

Also, if players aren't interested at all in the playing the game, do not activate it/start it, and you can be taken directly into the street without being given an option. Just my two cents!

  • I wasn't thinking they should be playable while waiting for streets to load (although there were times yesterday....)

But having something like that on the Glitch main site while the game is still in beta would be very fun. The mini game would need to actually have as much vertical height as possible, so something along the lines of Guillermo Gama Way (is that spelled right? looks off to me).

  • There's one street in the west cavern that makes me wanna ski down the slope and jump off the end. I'd take that mini-game. The games would keep the uninvited beta horde interested at least, a little extra promotion.
