Person with a product name for a name?

I know this may be opening up a hornet's nest.
But I saw someone today whose name was the name of a commercial product, along with copyright symbols.  This just bothers me.
There may not be a rule against it, but it seems like spam to me!
I hope this doesn't become commonplace. Just sayin'....there should be a rule against it.

  • Yep, you have to, Peter. That's why I am Kronos Rats, and why there is a character called Poop.

  • Forgive me, but I personally don't see anything wrong with Glitchen having brand names. Perhaps it has some personal significance to them :P.

  • Wow the things people fill their minds up with to worry about.

Remember, gently label it thinking and move on.

  • The question is: are they getting paid for it.
The important question is: where do I sign up for that crazyness? Wrap my car baby!

  • In all seriousness though, I wouldn't be surprised if companies started creating avatars just to openly talk about how great their products are. If they don't do that already in other MMOs. Some companies do that in the real world, and maybe it might be cheaper to code a bot to do that instead of paying someone hourly...

  • Paying someone to code and operate the AI in whatever ways, shapes, and forms it requires is probably about even :P A real person can make more convincing typos and whatnot to seem like an actual fan of the product :D
