So I have a skill idea: Interior Decorating.
I know this has been talked about before, but this morning I was trying to flesh it into something that would actually warrant a skill and require work like the other skills.
So first, I decided that there will be Interior Decoratin' I and Interior Decoratin' II and broke up the recipes between them.
First off, there are new resources that need to be added. I tried to keep these to a minimum while still adding enough to make it require work.
1) Masher: It mashes produce to create dyes(it's just so literal). Tomatoes make red, corn makes yellow, etc... with the possibility of weird dyes for mashing strange objects such as meat(Note: Meat Dye is not really something I've thought of until just now, and it might be best to not include it). Requires ID1
2)Tiny Unicorns - They give you Unicorn Glue
3)Llamas-They give you Wool(because sheep are just too mainstream </hipster>)
4)Dye Bucket - A Dye Bucket can be used to infuse Wool or Paper with dye. A Dye Bucket has two dye slots and can only create solid colors(multiple units of each dye are still required). Requires ID1
For instance: Navy Wool takes 10xBlue Dye, and 5xBlack Dye, while Primarily Red Wool takes 10xRed Dye. (numbers obviously for example purposes only)
5)Embellisher-This is the main tool of Interior Decoratin'. It is used to assemble the component parts into a finished product(much like the Beaker). Requires ID1.
6)Dye Tub-This is an upgrade to the Dye Bucket that is available at ID2 and allows the use of 4 dyes to create patterned Wool or Paper. Requires ID2
Example: Primarily Red Wallpaper: 10xTomato>Masher=>10xRed Dye+10xPaper>Dye Bucket=>Red Paper+5xGlue>Embellisher=>1xPrimarily Red Wallpaper(once again, all numbers are examples only)
So what can you make with ID1?
Vases display flowers and are created using dirt, a flower(determines vase type), and the Embellisher.
Wallpaper is made using colored paper, glue, and the embellisher. Due to the limits of the Dye Bucket a glitch can only make solid-colored wallpaper at ID1.
Flooring is the bottom layer of the house. Flooring<Rugs<Furniture. At ID1 a glitch can use dirt, planks, and colored wool in the Embellisher to create dirt floors, wooden floors, tile, and solid-colored carpeting.
That is ID1. ID2 will provide wall decorations, the use of the Dye Tub to create patterned wallpaper and flooring, rugs, and furniture.
Skills that assist in resource collection for Interior Decoratin': Animal Kinship set and Light Green Thumb set.
