  • Love!

And I completely understand the love of rhubarb pie. It is my favorite pie and one of my specialties.

But if stoot loves rhubarb pie why don't we have rhubarb in the game?

  • Vancouver is probably one of the mildest places in Canada. The winters in Vancouver are just slush though, everywhere else hits -40c

  • Usually the only milder place in Canada is Victoria, an inch west of here on Vancouver Island.

But we've been having the weirdest summer here this year. Normally it's pleasantly warm by April, hot by June and consistently hot & dry through July & August. But this year's been relatively cold & wet - couple of weeks ago it appeared to be warming up but all this week it's been cool & showery. Kt's not getting a typical Vancouver weather experience. Back in May I took the plunge and bought a portable air conditioner... I've turned it on twice.

The British and the British Columbians are united in their love of complaining about the weather :-)

  • Will read the link later, but first...

Did you know rhubarb makes your haircolour turn grey faster? (Don't know if this fact has been countered yet, but I was always told it affected your amount of grey hairs or make you grey sooner :P)

  • Nice Blog kt!  Don't worry too much about English, you are doing very well and will easily pick it up now that you are in Vancouver.  May you and your family enjoy Canada!

  • I love the writing style, and he shouldn't worry about his English.
He writes it better than a lot of people born and bred in English speaking countries. Seriously, you should see some of the things I have to decipher on facebook.
    Captions are great too :)
Rhubarb never looks edible to me, but we have plenty (when it's in season), it seems to grow wild in the garden. Next year I should mail it all to Stoot xD

  • Hmm.. Gloopy and I make a mean strawberry rhubarb pie and will be in Vancouver  next month. Not that we'd ever consider bribing our way into the TS offices.

back in the flickr days a couple of people showed up at ludicorp hq uninvited and unannounced. i got the impression that it was all a bit awkward and uncomfortable for the staff.

don't think rhubarb pie could possibly hurt tho
