Done anything in your Glitch career you look back on that makes you facepalm?
Well, I haven't done much that's stupid, though I only JUST noticed the "shake" button for milk... D:
Got all excited about my very first house (401 Onto Parada), decided to go on a spree buying things to fill it with... including a bubble-tree bean and several crop-seeds. Which, for obvious reasons, didn't work. :/
Oh, and not realizing till after reset that I, as a bog-dweller, could have animals in my house lol.
ETA- @Bruja- pretty sure they should... or else mine shouldn't have worked; one of the two, at any rate.
I wonder if this is a bug or a new thing? I'm almost sure I've seen pictures of bog basements with pig feeders in them - unless they're just there for the decor :)
on the other hand, if the pigs have access to the egg plant, I suppose there's no need for feeders?
I don't know what my greatest noob mistake has been yet, but my biggest noob victory has been reading this thread. I'll avoid a lot of mistakes thanks to you guys, lol. :D
Thinking that the 3% learning-time penalty kicked in when a skill was FINISHED, not when it was STARTED. Went through my whole stack of about 20 available skills to be learned, started them ALL with a plan to learn them down to about 30 seconds left, switching between skills..then when the penalty would kick in, it would only be a 3% increase on 30 seconds.
My biggest mistake was not realising that other glitchen could pick up your stuff! I was trying to figure out the repair your tinkertool quest and trying to reorganise my bags in public (I see you all cover your mouths.....) Naturally I dropped one of my tinkertools on the ground to sort out room in my bags and low and behold another glitch (whose name I will never forget) took it. Was I gutted or what! I was astounded as up until that point everyone had been so nice. I did ask nicely for it back and explained that I was trying to organise my stuff and she just said 'it was on the floor' :( Took me a while to be able to buy another one. Now whenever I see someone using a still in public I always urge them to take it home!!
