My new party hat is defying the laws of physics!

I have an asymmetrical party hat that is black on the left side and red on the right side, which is obvious whenever I climb a ladder. However, when I am standing, only the red side of the hat shows, regardless of the direction I face! In all of my time on glitch, I've found nothing as mysterious as the dark side of my hat!
(and whatever the symbol on that side is...)

  • a physics-defying party hat seems just right.

  • There is a spade on the red side of the hat, but alas, I shall never know if the black side of the hat has a diamond, or a heart.

  • Another impossible mystery: the heart of a woman.

  • I think everything is like that, isn't it? All the wardrobe and vanity items? And not just this game, but all (or almost all) games?

  • Yes Becky, it easier for developers to flip the graphic of an item than to assign it two states and a separate graphic for each state. That method works very well with symmetrical items, but with asymmetrical items, it always results in one side of the item being 'unseen'.

  • vermilion, i liked the explanation better when it was just "physics-defying".

  • Now, that's so glitch!

  • vermilion, you assume that the hidden symbol is heart or diamond. what if it's something different and more mysterious altogether?

  • Have you tried your physics-defying hat in Krystal kaos? It somehow seems appropriate.

  • It's only because you're observing the hat, causing it to lose its superpositional state.

  • Thanks a LOT, Vermillion.

I *saw* this, but I didn't *notice* it until you brought it up AND NOW MY HAIR CHANGES SIDES AND I CAN'T STOP LOOKING AT IT.
