What's "The Impossible Achievement"?

It's a requirement for Bureaucratic  Arts III, but I can't find any information about it. Even the link in the encyclopedia returns an error page. Has anybody else seen the achievement?

  • I was thinking the same thing just earlier.  I did a search in the forums - it seems like its something that cannot be achieved(!), basically so that no-one can learn this skill yet.

  • That's what makes it impossible.

  • Maybe a dev-joke to imply that bureaucracy is impossibly difficult?

  • You can get the Impossible Achievement by getting ALL of the achievements.

  • But to get all of the achievements, you need to get the Impossible Achievement first!!

  • So has anyone got it yet?

  • That's what makes it impossible.  There will never be an end to achievements.  If, somehow, there were then what would we need with BAIII, the game would be over.

  • daniel5457: No, not a single regular tester has got the impossible achievement yet. I wonder why, hence the name :)

  • Impossible Achievement is impossible to get.  It's to prevent us from getting BA3 which I suppose is there to let us know that more skills are coming.

  • This puzzles me, because its a prerequisite to one of the skills. If you don't get the achievement, you can't start the skill.

Ah, Tingly, you've already pointed this out, lol.

  • "Now it is such a bizarrely improbably coincidence that anything so mindbogglingly useful [the Babel fish] could have evolved by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as a final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God.

The argument goes something like this: "I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing."

"But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED."

"Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic."

  • BAIII probably gets us into Glitch heaven. I know I've been to Glitch hell too many times.
