Housing Appreciation

I think that instead of losing money trying to sell a house you already bought, the price should actually go up if the area becomes full or desirable.

For instance, I just purchased 590 Gregarious Towers in Groddle Meadow, Ur, last night for 1,500 currants.  I could sell it today for 1,200 currants.

If Gregarious Towers starts to get full and people like that area, maybe the price should go up and let people take advantage of prospecting low cost housing in areas that they think will become popular?

Just a thought from a player who has played for just a few hours.
Thanks!

  • In general, I would agree that improving housing should raise the price.  However, in most classes of housing we are finding that there are constantly shortages.  I'd be afraid that any process that inflates the market would make it even more difficult for new folks to be able to buy their first house, and particularly to get one of a type they really like.
