EXP From Shrine Donations

Hey Glitchen!

Starting to realize the incredible EXP that can be gained from donations. I was wondering why, sometimes, I appear to be over my "daily limit" of EXP from shrine donations (not sure how this is possible). Does this occur when a SINGLE donation pushes it over the edge? Can I donate something worth 3000 EXP (and get the full EXP) even if my limit is only 2000, as long as its a SINGLE donation?

I've been trying to find an explanation of the mechanics of shrine donation in terms of favor and EXP but couldn't find anything - any help is much appreciated :)

Also, I was wondering if there are any plans to add something where I can actually select a SPECIFIC number of something to donate (or eat, drop, etc)? It becomes really risky when I have a stack of 100 seasoned beans and I want to donate like 35. The only option (I can find) is to drop 65 of them, donate the 35, then quickly pick up the 65 off the ground. Is this the only way to do this? Feel like I'm missin something.

Thanks much,
Zeb

  • With the new 30 second limit, dropping a whole bunch isn't nearly as risky as it used to be. AFAIK if you a donation takes you over your EXP limit, it warns you. So if your limit is 2k, but your donation would be worth 3k, you only get the 2k and the 1k is wasted EXP.

  • If you get an EXP bonus then it can push you over your daily limit (since it's random - you can't be warned beforehand that you'll receive a bonus).

  • Ah OK - so when its over the daily limit, its only because "bonus" EXP from the donation?
