Clothing Comments, aka Things I Don't Like.

While many of the clothing choices are attractive, I have some minor complaints. I wish I could keep my hair with the bobbles and horns. I don't like going around bald.

There's only one flowers-for-the-hair hat and it has bones in it. Will flowers be coming sans bones? This would be nice to see.

Also, I would love it if the game more clearly gave tips about which items go good/were made to go together. It would make putting an outfit together a lot easier. Not saying that I would always choose premade sets, but it helps to make it clear (at least to me) what goes with what. I guess it just seems sometimes like clothes in games were not meant to go together, like one guy made a shirt and another pants, another shoes and they're three different shades of green.

Anyway, YMMV. Just my 2 cents.

  • Yea, I'm not thrilled with the bones headband either.  I would love to see a few flowers behind the ears type options.

Like the grrr-animals idea...however, some people will never match...lol...and that is what makes it interesting.

  • I agree with keeping your hair with the bobbles and horns. I was a bit disappointed to see I'd have to be bald to use them :(

  • They are still working on this, patience!

It was like this with every headpiece, and slowly they are adjusting all the layering.

  • There are a lot of clothes in the "Coats, Cloaks & Capes" that hide your shirt or top completely. I want more capes! Or cloaks like this.

  • The hat/hair thing is actually WAY better than it was, it's apparently crazy complicated to make happen.

There is a very long thread called clothing/gear ideas where you can post ideas for apparel.  If you look through it, you will be pleasantly surprised at how many player-suggested items have been deployed, staff is very responsive that way!  <3<3<3 sugarQb

  • I love mixing and matching and even unmatching.  I seldom wear a set of clothes designed to go together.  Right now my glitch is wearing the red cat pants and shoes with the red bustier and no mask or hat.  I like it better than the entire cat suit.  If you do want to wear things designed to go together, you can often tell by the names of the clothes.  Entire sets often include:  hat or mask, shirt or coat, pants and shoes.  Just look through the wardrobe to find the sets.  Some sets are incomplete:  bear hat and feet, no bear suit; elephant feet, no other elephant item; lizard hat, no other lizard item, etc.

  • We are still fine tuning it, but you can use the new tagging system to find all the components of an outfit: just look for tags that contain the word "outfit".

So, for example, let's say you come across the Space Crusader Mask. Click on the "info page" link (or just the name of the item if it is showing in the upper right box) to get to the Space Crusader Mask page. On it, you will see a list of tags, one of which is "Space Crusader outfit" — clicking on that will show you all of the components.

Only a small subset of clothing items are part of official outfits though so this only works when a piece was specifically designed as part of an outfit (like the Maki roll costume or the Rookist Headpiece) — most clothing is a la carte/mix & match.

  • oh that's nice.  Could we add those tags to the Info box in the top right corner that loads the image and the price?

  • Thanks for all the replies, esp. from a GM. You folks sure are attentive to the players!

Oh, and one more small complaint. I tried a bunch of times to click on the credits as a way to buy more credits because I am still honestly not sure of an easy way to find the buy more credits area of the website. I figured I could just click on the credits I had and it would take me to it, but it did nothing.

  • Crucial I know what you mean about clicking on that Credits type (the amount of Credits you have - listed below the Featured box on the upper right of the Wardrobe page) and assuming naturally that it would take me to an area where I could buy more credits if I did not have as many as I needed. Alas as you say, not quite so easy. But it looks like an easy fix so cross your fingers and maybe by the next test they will have that link in place. Until then:

  • Thanks stoot for the info on the new tagging system... pretty sweet...or is it sweet sweetness?!  This looks pretty promising and was quite neat to see with the Knight and Sushi outfits.
