Mobile Support

I'm sitting here on my mobile device, and I have a problem, I wan't to start learning a new skill while on the can, but I can't because the site comes up a bit wonky over there. So I suggest the developers make the site a bit more mobile friendly, so that we can check our stats on the go. Make the play experince a bit more immersive, you know what I mean?

  • Check the app store?

  • It used to be available on the mobile website but for some reason they removed the feature.

  • Well, we didn't intentionally remove the feature so much as break support for it on most phones when we did the last big upgrade to the skills page ;)

HOWEVER, if you are playing Glitch and you have an iOS or Android phone you should really get Glitch HQ. It's handy and it's free. It has a updates, snaps and mailbox; friends list and profiles; the fully interlinked encyclopedia; your quest log and, of course, a skill picker.

For iPhone, touch of iPad: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/glitch-hq/id453420240?mt=8

    For Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tinyspeck.glitchhq&hl=en

  • there's no forum in glitch hq
    ;)

the home page drives me a little nuts on my ipad (trying to expand conversations, click any links on an update).  once I'm nuts enough, I just reach over and open the laptop.

and they say the people in Syria are having it tough

  • @daniel5457 More and more people are getting Windows phones. It's becoming on par with iOS and Android, though it doesn't have as many apps yet. That's the only thing really holding it back at this point.

That being the case, it would be awesome to see Glitch HQ on Windows Phone someday, though I personally have an Android.

  • shhexy corin, if you go to www.glitch.com/login/?r=%2F... on your ipad and log in, you can do about everything that you can do on a PC on your iPad, at least I can. The forums work nice for me, although I have to zoom in sometimes to go to the next page to refrain from clicking the wrong link or page.

  • clearly nobody here is phased about glitching while "on the can," which makes me extremely happy.

  • Well thats a bummer. I'm on a nook tablet, I cant get GlitchHQ. I hope glitch never breaks the forum or potty time will become really boring.
