selling tools to vendors one at a time

so i know some naughty folks were exploiting vendors in selling tools but for us honest crafters this change is killing me, i craft large numbers of tools, usually about 800 at a time and dump them on vendors. now i have to do it one at a time and it's painful especially with the passive energy and mood loss at high levels. so i beg you tiny speck please find another solution to stop the cheating, i was crafting smaller numbers of things like crystalmalizing chambers but with the recent nerf of humbabas i wasn't even breaking even on costs to keep my energy up.

EDIT: whops sorry this was meant to go to the idea forum, it can be deleted if possible/

  • do you mean the ability to craft more than one at a time?

  • no the ability to SELL more than one tool at a time. the old cheat/exploit was when someone had a high number, say 300 broken or nearly broken tools and 1 perfect tool that they put to the far left of their inventory, the vendor would calculate value for ALL the tools based on the perfect one. people were exploiting this and never tinkering. so now you can only sell tools 1 at a time as a way to prevent this. but people like me that craft 800 at a time, selling to vendors is AWFUL now.

  • The dev fix ought to be base the vendor price on the MOST worn item of the set, in that case, and then light up bulk sales again.

  • That doesn't help either because players will not get as many currants and many will find it confusing.  Maybe you should only be able to bulk-sell perfect tools?  So if you have 800 in inventory and 798 are perfect, you can bulk-sell the 798.

  • exactly only being able to multi sell perfect tools seems like a perfect solution to me.

  • Or just calculate a price proportionally based on wear, so an item at 0 repair is worth nothing (or maybe half price), if the item is at 100% repair its full price, on those rules at 50% it would be worth half price (or three quarters price) and just sum it up for each individual item. As for which items get sold, just have them sold from the left as they usually are, that way if you want to sell your unrepaired items you could move them to the left in your bag.
