What's the nicest thing you've ever done for a glitch/group of glitches?
Less forum DRAMZ, more heartwarming stories plz. :D What I've enjoyed in this game is how kind people for the most part are, so I'm interested to know how you've improved the experience of another player or a group of players here.
There was a Glitch sleeping while I was walking around and I noticed she was at a low level. I happened to have an Emblem for Lem and so I thought it would be nice to just give it to her and walk away while she was still sleeping.
Probably about 10 minutes later I get a Chat box from her and I kind of laughed since she was all frazzled (in a good way about it) while thanking me. :)
Given someone a Helga, Friendly, and Magic Rock cubimal for free.
Just recently gave the other Vol 4 icons.
Spammed Random Kindnesses on people until they were full.
Other stuff that I have forgot.
Maybe we could turn this discussion around and talk about the nicest thing another Glitch has done for us?
Mine would probably be the mini-cubi stack I found recently in one of the egg tree caves, including a bureaucrat and a cactus. The three cubis I took were enough to get me started with cubi collecting (and releasing back into the wild myself ;)
I usually help out the low levels, let 'em follow me around to places they haven't been, given them tips and hints for some quests. I like to hand out common cubimals, food and drinks at random to them and hit people with random kindness from time to time (if I have them), And if people've given me keys to their house I fill their feeders for the pigs and the like. I've also crafted and handed people tools when needed too.
Before the recent addition of new skills I was trying to come up with interesting things. I was leaving random notes with valuable stacks of things at the ends of streets that had no further destination. I wanted to reward people who enjoyed discovering things without having a destination in mind. Something about not all those who wander being lost, or something.
This isn't about me, but about what someone DID for me -- which would be a nice addition here as well, unless I've missed a separate forum topic on it. In my early days, greenkozi gave me the money to buy a little cottage. Didn't ask for anything in return. It was one of the nicest things that I think anyone online has ever done for me and has stuck with me for a long time. I have tried to pay it forward if I can.
I gave a walloping big diamond to a shrine donator. It probably doesn't count though as it was theirs to begin with and they dragged the item onto me by mistake. Still, I was thanked lots for my honesty.
The nicest thing someone did to me was buying me my first house and providing free beans which, at the low level I was at, was a lot of money.
Someone let me into their house to harvest their wood tree for a quest because I absolutely couldn't find one. I didn't have much on me at the time so after I finished harvesting I dropped an amber for her. She picked it up and got the Gem Collectors trophy. It was unexpected, and although small it made me feel good :3
I split 60,000 with those who added me as a friend/contact - and then gave my house to a neighbor (who left me a welcome food platter) which contained all my bags & toolboxes (food, gems, 1-2 of every emblem, etc) plus stacks of planks, metal bars, almost every music block, etc. = see, sometimes doing a good deed yields much more in return.
BTW, I quit playing... so gave away everything like a Buddhist or something. Now I just haunt your dreams! It's been fun ; )
