The tweet says that most people probably weren't even aware of there being a limit in the first place - suggests to me that it's such a small difference that we are unlikely to see any significant repercussions from it. The GOHF cards have had a much bigger impact on the food market.
Me too, I've hit Zen quite often (especially if I hit my quoin limit early in playing and then can't go top up in the ALs), so I was excited to see this. I'm sure it won't alter the way I meditate too much, but it's nice that there's no limit now.
I hit zen pretty much daily. So on one hand, I'm thrilled. On the other... I feel bad for my poor ignored kitchen tools. (Note that I have a pretty small tank for my level, though!)
Even though i hit my max limits quickly (relatively small energy tank too) I was pretty much ignoring food as an energy source. Given my style of game play, energy boosts from quoins, achievements, badges, emblems, icons etc was more than enough to keep me active even if I'd maxed my meditation for energy (which was about one in every 10 game days).
However the super bonus image from food has now boosted my food intake. so i expect that will help shore up the food market
