1. I just looked @ my hubby and he said "Baby, ya still got it". I loves that old fart.
2. My avatar is just as girlie as moi but ever so much younger and cuter and better dressed.
@napabeth: Hermaphrodite? Both!? Both organs? Isn't that impossible in humans? Or do you mean something else, like a chromosomal or thyroid disorder? Err wait, you don't have to answer that if you don't want to.
1. Technically female, but, well, I think I'm more of a guy in terms of personality and certain interests and behaviours, and apparently spacial recognition. I can still pick up the subtle social cues like a female (in general) can though, and yes, I do have some very girly interests and habits.
2. My Glitchen's a "female", at least right now. Why? Because... because that's why.
This isn't related to Glitch but BBC does have a Sex ID quiz that you can take. The information is anonymously sent and the results are being analysed by a team of psychologists. I got 50-50 lol...
1. My sex is female.
2. My glitch doesn't appear to have a sex, but its gender is currently female. That's subject to change. Why? Because!
@Liridona, pseudohermaphroditism is possible with people. Intersex or ambiguous people aren't "true" hermaphrodites in that they don't have full function of both sets of sex organs, but it's an easy term that people understand. I think most people tend to use "intersex" now though.
There are definitely human hemaphrodites..or pseudo hemaphrodites. I kid you. I , myself personally, am 100 % female with all the foibles and weaknesses but I try to be brave and strong like a man....and I now proudly wear my Y fronts in the game because we must embrace diversity....Hyaenas are also hemaphroditic, snails and many frogs due to the estrogen in the run off water in which they live....
Ah, I see! Like a Claudine or Lady Oscar, right? On that subject my boyfriend actually has a chromosomal disorder, Klinefelter's. XXY, instead of the normal XY composition in males. Because of that he probably doesn't suffer from any recessive conditions linked to the X chromosome, like colour blindness.
Parrot fish are hermaphrodites too. And they coat themselves in mucous, lol.
Klinefelter's Syndrome is super interesting! I remember studying that. It's amazing how much the effects can vary from one person to another. I didn't know that about Klinefelter's and recessive conditions. That's neat.
1. sex female, gender ambiguous. I'm really girly but i feel like i don't have the right body. I feel more like a feminine man than a masculine woman. But as i get to be feminine as i am i have no current feelings that i need to change
I thought when reading the title of the thread it was going to be like...ahem. Never mind my gutter brain.
1. female (though it sounds as if I have a lot in common with Liridona)
2. female but waayyyyy girlier and way way hotter than me in RL :D After all, why the heck not??
I am female, although very much a tomboy IRL. I work on cars, shoot guns, watch football, and all those "guy" things, and don't wear skirts unless I have to.
My glitch, while decidedly female, is much girlier than I am. She wears skirts and dresses, and it looks like she even puts on makeup, which is something you'd almost never see me doing.
I generally play girls in 3-D MMOs for size reasons: female toons take up less screen space, leaving more room to see the enviro, other toons, enemies, etc
I am female, but here you can have a sex change no problem
so you got the choice to play dress up. and boy i love to play
i get to wear clothes and no one bothers if you go naked. in real
life i wear trouses all the time so its good to get into dresses
for a change,
Although the little note about parrotfish is one of those fascinating things about nature that i love. I live in Hawaii so seeing parrotfish (uhu) while snorkeling is extremely common. It's interesting especially because of the amazing coloration displayed by the different stages. Oh and uhu are good eating. Big fish!
and i wasn't aware of any Glitchian boy/girl parts so i reiterate about this being the strangest thread.
I LOVE that the OP is able to differentiate between sex and gender. Though my sex is male, I don't have a gender. And my Glitch is, well, I suppose (s)he's supposed to be biologically male but (s)he has no gender, as well. I will put typically "girly" clothes on shim if I please.
female in RL and female in Glitch.
I played a lot of mmorpg, mainly fantasy, and usually male players didn't believe me that I'm a woman. It used to be not so common for girls to play such games and I really liked to be treated like a mascot of a clan or group ;-)
I'm male in RL, but female on Glitch. However, it was unintentional... my 3 year old son wanted to name my Glitchling after one of his friends (Isabella), and I didn't pay enough attention to the "You can only change names every 2 months" warning text. :-) My glitch will be having a sex-change operation in 2 weeks. :-)
@Jackie Paper
Glitchlings are unisex . So the thread makes perfect sense. Your Glitch is whatever sex you want it to be, and this is the thread where you can tell us what sex you imagine your Glitch is.
I am sexy.
My Glitch likes to play dress-up and wears whatever looks like fun.
Wow! Fascinating thread. I'm learning, lol.
I always thought of myself as female (& Phoebe is female) but according to the quiz, so far I'm a guy! rofl.
I've run into a problem tho, on part 4 I think. It asks for millimeters and I don't know how to read it on my ruler. It shows inches on one side, mm on the other, with 5 mm to 2 inches. But that doesn't match the choices in the quiz. Anyone know how to translate?
I read years ago, that there's very little actual physical difference between male and female humans, and its relatively easy to switch to the other gender. That quiz seems to support that idea. Maybe we've only been trained to think of characteristics as belonging to one gender and not the other.
female - but not a girly girl. more a tomboyish womanly woman.
I sometimes play a girly girl online. my glitch is a girl, but she loves jumping, climbing trees, digging in the dirt and mud, and scraping barnacles, even when wearing a dress, so I guess she might be considered a tomboy too.
