Why don't we get imagination from making butter and cheese?

What is the reason that we don't get IMG for shaking milk into butter and compressing butter into cheese? Thanks for your help!

(I am sorry if this has already been answered somewhere. I searched and I didn't find anything.)

  • Once upon a time people used milk and butter (and cheese) for getting lots of xp. They increased the amount of energy used, they still used it. Then they gave it a big cool down. Then they took away any way to get any xp all together. Now, we get nothing but pay  A LOT to get it.

I do wish they would change it back. If we are going to spend so much energy, I would love to get at least something for it.

  • Making butter and cheese in RL is very creative.  Creating new varieties of cheeses can be very imaginative.  So can making flavored butter. This should be reflected in Ur. :)

  • As a matter of fact, what we get is that fat is instantly imagined on our glitchian butts...

  • I  had wondered the same thing, why we didn't earn a small amount of img for making butter and cheese, or why it hadnt been an upgrade card etc. I am curious as to the reasoning for this, but it may also be something that was put on the backburner temporarily so to speak....either way curious as well.

  • Honestly I'd rather have the energy cost go way down than get IMG from it. I can crunch ice for IMG! (I don't, but I could).

  • I believe that a long time ago, they did give big iMG, only people abused this and it was an unfair too easy way to level. Even on the nono iMG/XP reduction rate, it still gave you big XP/iMG.

  • This seems like a perfect candidate for upgrade cards. The card cost can be scaled to match the ROI, just like quion multiplier cards. A 200 iMG card for small "bonus iMG", scaling up to 20k+ cards for greater returns.

  • It wasn't just an XP exploit before. They then donated/sold the cheese for big money. I know people who made money almost exclusively from selling cheese. It's unfortunate for those who cook with alot of cheese but this was rightfully nerfed.

  • Yeah I noticed these things gave zero img too, but use a ridiculous amount of energy. It also takes what, 10 seconds of your time to turn 80 milk to butter, which splits into smaller stacks, which doubles the time to turn that butter into cheese (should you decide to do both stacks). Absurd energy costs also ensue. Yet, all you get are the materials, nothing else? No iMG?

You'd be better off just ignoring any recipe that uses butter or cheese, and making a recipe whose materials can all be obtained through iMG-earning activities, which would cost a lot less energy to gain the amounts of those materials you need, in less total time. Nevermind the fact that all the top tier recipes do not use butter or cheese whatsoever, which give people even LESS incentive to make the lower tier recipes that do use them.

Yeah, I know, they're gonna make it so that we get iMG or something from eating a variety of food, but we can get plenty of variety without touching butter or cheese, and get a lot more out of it in the process in the end. Maybe if the iMG reward for eating a variety was big and significant, how that'll really work is still up in the air. We only know this much because stoot randomly said it in global like a week ago.

  • I make all my dairy-related goods while on Nono. Or, when I notice I almost missed a whole game day and want to use up my energy.

I have 2,000 each of butter, cheese, stinky cheese, and very stinky cheese all in SDBs waiting for that time I will really really need some dairy products.
