Managing home streets; dead spot and un-imagination

I seems that all the designs for street styles have a dead zone on the left-hand side, where you cannot cultivate. Visually there is a downwards slope, cost wise it's 3 expansions that are affected..

I like to keep my street small and intimate, and had I known about the dead zone, I would have chosen NOT to expand more in that direction.

What am I looking for: One of 3 things, or all 3 if developers would be so fantastical
1: An option to un-imagine my street size (as you can murder your cultivations, why not you expansions - I would even pay double or more imagination cost for un-expanding!!

2: An elimination of dead spots/zones altogether!

3: A full screen image of every street style, including a very clear marking of dead spots/zones

Discuss!
(above could also be applicable to house-un-expansions)

  • Hear Hear!  I never would have gone that far to the left had I known about the dead spot.

  • +1 +1 +1 (one for each section of dead zone)

I guess the developers were just trying to make the home street look more interesting. But it makes it looks less interesting cos there's this great spot of nothingness.

GREAT idea from woman though. If I ever make the mistake of expanding into the Dead Zone, I'll be sure to make it at least slightly useful by doing that.

  • Great ideas. That spot is mystifying and irritating both, I agree.

I will go move my feeders there immediately, though my house seems to trap piggies on the porch if my stick is on the left.

  • This is needed (1 and 3 particularly), your seal of approval has been granted :)

  • I came to exactly the same solution for the dead spot.

Still, it IS kinda aggravating. If there's some technical reason why it has to be that way, fair enough. But if not, I think just about everybody would be happier without it.

Thanks for explaining this. I thought I screwed up my placement of resources and did this to myself somehow.

  • I would be happy to keep the dead spots if I'd known what and where they were ahead of time.  Would appreciate a real preview during street expansion.
