Each day I die before I wake,
To get the badge for badges' sake.
One day a zombie I will be;
you'll never recognize me.
The coming of death is less slow
should I sniff a flap of no-no.
And if I sniff again and again
I'll keep dying, over and over, and then--
I'll be too tired to pet a tree
Or hug a Glitchen who knows me
Or splank my mortal enemy
Or go on an Ur-exploring spree.
When I wake again I'm full of energy.
But I choose to do this to me:
No-no until my brain boggles.
Until my eyes look like goggles.
Is it healthy, they say, to take this stance?
Is it good for your Glitchen countenance?
Do you think that if you die and die,
and wait for a badge and continue to try,
do you think that is good for you?
Here, they say, is some awesome stew.
Eat it--I'll see you around. Farewell!
But instead I dump it and go straight to Hell.
I squish my grapes and I wait for Day.
And the time when I can finally say:
I'm Dracula. I've died time after time!
Here is my badge. One Thousand and Nine!
