Memory leak in test of 7/27

Hi, I'm playing Glitch on Linux (Ubuntu 10.10, x86_64) with Chrome (13.0.729.99 beta) and Flash (10.3.181) and am noticing a huge memory leak and increase in CPU usage.  I've been playing for about 45 minutes, and am seeing memory usage of npviewer.bin at 1213MB virt, 993MB resident.    I noticed that it started out low (~200MB) when I started playing, and has steadily risen.

I was playing earlier today, and left the game open when I went out to lunch, when I came back, npviewer.bin was using over 2GB of resident RAM.

I think you have a pretty severe memory leak.  I'm happy to do whatever is necessary to help you debug this, just let me know.

  • It's bad on IE as well. Enough it lagged me out, I lost connection, and here I am, looking to see if anyone is having problems. Took 12 minutes to go from one of the street to the other end before it lost the connection.

  • I've got the same issue. When I first open the game, my RAM usage is around 50% with average framerate. The more I play, the higher that number goes up, until I'm generally forced to refresh at around 80% usage when my framerate starts to take such a hit that the game is unplayable.

Last testing session, I had this happen on Sat, but it seemed to return to normal on Sunday. This time I've got it happening all the time, both on Mac (OS 10.6.8, 8GB RAM, Firefox 5) and PC (Windows XP, 3.5GB of RAM, Chrome), both running latest version of Flash.
