I don't want to stack these items just to hoard them. The very first time a shrine spit out a game ticket at me, I had no idea what that was for. I honestly thought Glitch had some game show going on in some building unbeknownst to me yet. Never finding any existence of a "game show" I finally decided to click on the ticket and it was then that I discovered what the ticket was for. The bright, colorful spinning wheel was so fun and the anticipation of waiting to see what my prize would be has always been as delightful as that first time. Made me feel like a kid again at a carnival's Go Fish booth. Sometimes, I'd win another game ticket, or 25 currants, and sometimes it was a bigger prize, like a musicblock! And the sarcastic comments the shrines would sputter out always cracked me up. Always fun no matter what the prize. So that got me to thinking about new members and what a fun, happy way to welcome them by gifting them with a game ticket as well as being a great introduction to talking about the shrines here. So that' s what led to the stacking idea for game tickets.
For the gems, I read on the glitch wiki that they're useful for street projects so it would make sense to be able to stack them. And the emblems - I swear I just read recently that the emblems may be used to buy clothes in the future but don't hold me to this. I can't find the post now and am beginning to wonder if it was just another one of my glitchy dreams as I fell asleep (again) in front of my computer. But, if it were true, that would be why a stack of emblems would make sense.
I'm sure there's a good reason why we can't stack certain items but just wanted to offer the idea in case it's something the devs might consider. :-)
I agree... I would really like to see stacking on "spin the wheel" tickets, emblems (since we can only use each Giant's once per game day instead of the older, once per emblem, it makes more sense), and I would like to see Teleport scripts going to the same location Stack as well... I have 5 TP scripts to Plexus... It would be much nicer to have them stack up than fill a bag.
Gem stones... well, I can see the argument for not stacking puts a limit on the large-value donations being limited to what you can put in inventory. And high value items don't stack... makes sense from that perspective.
I would love a "packing" skill that allowed larger stacks and stacking of currently none stacked items. This might be a problem with auctions but perhaps it could limit to the default base stack level.
