c1.glitch.bz is requesting permission to store information on your computer - prevents entering the world

I am unable to enter the world because this comes up and it does not react to my clicking on any part of the dialogue box, eg 'allow' or 'deny'. (this issue is already in 'general' forum but it seems to be a bug)

  • This is in Firefox 4 with Flash player 10.2.

  • I am able to get in using Chrome - the buttons in the dialogue box are working - so it must be something to do with my setup in FF. I seem not to have Java available in FF (also unable to upload folders to Google Docs in FF but can do it in Chrome - unrelated but maybe the same cause).

  • Can you try updating your Firefox Flash plugin then? The one you have is 10.2 based, not disallowed, but Chrome and Firefox use different plugins on your system (though you can point Chrome to the one Firefox uses if you want). It would be interesting to see if the update will get you going for Firefox.

Can you check the link in the bug forum main topic header, and reinstall?

Note: We are also looking at the issue where clicking the Flash permissions box is not responsive.

  • OK, I installed Flash 10.3, and now I can enter the world using FF again. It briefly showed me the message about requesting permission to store info, but did not stop at the dialog box.
