The Specifics of Bags (and/or Containers in General)

I was just curious about what other people thought about some of the bag mechanics :D

1) Why is it the '+' symbol that opens the bag?
Shouldn't you be able to open the bag by clicking on the actually bag, and use the '+' as the options menu?
It just seems counter-intuitive, since the '+' looks more like a drop-down menu to me - and most of the time, you're going to be interacting with the bag to open it, so the bigger surface-area might be better dedicated to the 'open' action.

2) Why can't I sell bags?! D:
I'm assuming the fact that you can't drag bags to the 'sell' window is necessary to keep people from putting bags into bags (Bagception, or: Xibitz' bag), and having infinite storage.
But, what if, when you bought a bag, it was in a 'packed' state? Packed, meaning it couldn't be used for storage - it was just a normal item, and could be sold as normal to vendors. Then, have that Packed Bag have a 'Set Up' option, which, if you had the inventory space, would spawn you a lovely, usable bag in an empty inventory slot. The opened, normal bag could then have the option to re-pack it if it was empty, allowing you to sell or store it for a later time as a Packed Bag - without creating unfair storage space.

Just some food for thought :3
