Inventory Sorting: shuffle or swap if a bag is full

Say you have a bag that's stuffed to the brim. All 16 slots are taken, and you want to move one item around. You have to move something out, shift everything around, and then drag the other item back in.

It would be great if you could drag an item between other items in a full bag and have everything in between shift a step to the left/right, or have items swap spots with each other by dragging one over the other. This way we'll never need to temporarily drop items to reorganise our inventory.

  • +1! Definitely a great idea. Would help to reorder bags from L to R without dropping any, too, so that if you're mining you can put your mining bag first in line to get filled, or if you're harvesting trees you can put a different bag first...we can already do that of course but if we could do it without dropping a bag, manually moving everything to the right, and then picking it up, that would be awesome.

  • Getting a warning when you receive an item when your bag is full would be nice (with the opportunity to drop something instead), it's depressing when your spare space is filled by an overharvest of beans and the musicbox the tree just gave you fell on the floor only to be picked up by someone else while you frantically eat/drop something to make space.
