Disappearing Pigs and Pig Eggs?

I had three pigs at my house. Fed them every time I went home. This time, there were only two, but no pile of meat either. Just one completely missing. Anyone else having that problem?? I've even looked behind things for my piles of meat...

Also, the other day I asked one of my chickens to incubate a pig egg (i wanted 4 pigs), and it said it would take it. The egg disappeared from my inventory, but the chicken did nothing. It kept giving me the option to "request incubation". Never got my piglet and lost my egg. Weird bugs... this has never happened to me before.

  • How odd.
I also had a chicken behave strangely when I asked for incubation. It took my egg, but kept walking along with another chicken for about 30 seconds. Then it finally sat down and incubated my egg. So, I did get my baby animal (whichever it was I don't remember) but it took a little longer than normal.
Something weird is going on, for sure!

  • This has happened to me twice, where I request incubation and the chicken took the egg but it was just gone. I was still getting the req. incub. option,.....bug??

  • Confirming weird chicken behavior. I asked it to incubate a piggy egg; it told me the right thing, but kept right on walking. Not sure if I'll get my piglet!

Sending a bug report from in-game as well. The chicken was on an inclined surface, if that matters?

  • Aha. I think it IS the inclined surface at fault. As soon as the chicken hit flat ground, boom! it went into incubation pose.

  • I've had the same thing happen as Zany. Once I had to make it fly & another time, I squeezed it to make them go into incubation mode.

  • I had 3 pigs and 2 disappeared the next day. :(

Is there any reason for this?

  • Your piggies are probably starving to death.  Hand feed them, try leaving grain or cherries on the ground, or get RHK and a feeder.

@Yum your other two piggies might have eaten the meat left behind from the one that died.
