Aaaaand we have...
Lazy Salad!
- 1 small tomato, cut into 12 pieces
- 8 cheese cubes
Mix in bowl.
Common Crudites!
- 1/2 carrot, cut into 4 equal slices
- 1/4 cucumber, cut into 4 equal slices
- 1/2 celery, cut into 4 equal slices (or broccoli, which is what the recipe calls for - didn't have it on hand)
- 1/4 potato, cut into 4 equal slices (didn't have it on hand either)
- 1/4 cup chunky blue cheese or ranch dressing
Pour dressing into small cup. Arrange vegetable slices with bottoms in dressing.
Snack Pack!
- 3-4 triangular slices of cheddar cheese (I used Monterey Jack, but that's not really ideal)
- part of an apple, cut into 5 pieces
- 3 slices of dill pickle
Arrange on small platter or plate.
Yummy Gruel! (Don't judge. It's harder than it looks, OK!?)
- 1 small bowl plain oatmeal
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp birch syrup (I used maple, but it calls for birch)
- dash salt
Pour the birch syrup into the middle of the oatmeal. Sprinkle cinnamon & salt on top.
