Weird. I always imagined Stoot -- and all the developers, really -- having loud, booming voices that echoed around TS headquarters. Like, they're always shouting back and forth of each other -- and laughing, too.
And then confetti falls from the ceiling whenever the magic word of the day is uttered, and there's ice cream for everybody.
I am so in favor of the game he describes, where rather than "unlocking" content that's prefab, we the players actually help shape the direction of the game. That's not, however, the way it feels that things have been going in Ur for the last six months.
I hope and pray that as Glitch relaunches, it heads more in the direction described in this two-year-old video.
ETA: I recognize just how difficult this most creative type of development is. I do appreciate it when stoot says he "works hard, so hard" on this game. I hope he and the entire TS team will continue to aim high.
