Seeds from Piggies, feeding piggies.

Client Error Report: my frustration with getting seeds from feeding pigs continues, but productively. If you feed a pig 100 of a vegetable (or strawberry or whatever) it should plop *multiple* seed packets. it seems you get a 33% chance of getting a seed packet, so the 33% chance should get rolled 100 times and the resulting number (somewhere around 33) should be the number of seed packets. That way I don't 'lose' 97 strawberrys when I feed a pig 100 and get 1 seed packet.

  • it's not a % chance.  It's an absolute count when you are feeding multiple feeds of the same item.

So, the first item does not give you a plop.  The second item does not give you a plop.  The third item gives you a plop with a seed for that item.

Feeding more than 3 items at once still only gives you one plop from that feeding.

I haven't tested what happens if you feed 3 different things to the piggy or if you feed two identical items and then a 3rd.

  • It used to be that if you fed three different things to a piggy, the resultant plop would produce a grain seed packet. Idk what it is now, since grain is only obtainable from chickens.

  • Now-a-days, if you feed 3 different seeds to a piggy, nothing happens. You have to feed 3 of the same type consecutively to get a seed. Feeding 3 at once also works. Feeding more than 3 at once gives you 1 seed packet, regardless of how many you feed it. I hope that changes in the future.
