  • Someone asked this a while ago. :) Here's stoots reply:

"The gum tree (and spigot) were scratched over a year ago. But, hey … maybe they make an appearance one day :)"

    It's a really old item - see it's number? 287? We're in the 900's items now I think.

  • I thought I would add onto this old post, since I have a question about old items.

Do Turnips still exist in game? It's item 297, so I was wondering if it was a remainder item, since I don't remember ever seeing one in the game. And I don't remember ever seeing Turnip Seeds either.

  • Nvrmind. I was thinking parsnips, not turnips. <wrong>No Turnip seeds. But you can buy turnips from the produce vendor. You need them for some recipes. </wrong>

  • Are you sure you're thinking about turnips and not parsnips?

  • So we did.

You say recipes, I think they're only used to make Awesome Stew (which is awesome for those of you who don't know,) do you know of other recipes?

  • I am likely imagining, but I thought that there was a hearty blended concoction which required parsnips. But I have CLEARLY been wrong before. Recently.

  • No problem, I'm just really curious about turnips, since both turnips and their seeds are still listed in the encyclopedia.

You're not the first person to get confused about turnips and parsnips, in fact I have to check the encyclopedia every time I pose the questions.
