Some of my glitch friends are unclear exactly how to win 'The Best Announcer' contest of my birthday bash, so this post will elaborate the process. You may announce in 3 ways: by dropping notes, by posting statuses, or by training gnomes.
Announcing the party with notes:
If a player arrives at the party with a note that you wrote, that player gets a door prize, and you get one bonus point toward winning grand prize #10. Good places to leave notes are outside subways, quarters, and ancestral lands.
Announcing the party with status:
If you arrive at the party and mention you have a status update about the party 4 hours old or more, you get one point. Multiple status reports do not result in any extra points.
Announcing the party with gnomes:
Train your lawn gnome to talk about the party around Thursday afternoon or earlier, and post about it here. One of my fellow judges or I will investigate your gnome and award you two points. You only get credit for one gnome, but if you have multiple gnomes, it increases the chance of one of them making the announcement. If one of the judges pass your area before the gnome is trained, you don't get a second chance, so train them early!
Warning: If you spam the contest in global chat, you are disqualified.
The player with the most announcement points will win the contest, and the prize bag with the best music block set.
