Why does regular meditation yield higher rewards in both mood and energy than focused meditation of either? Whats the point of focused meditation if you don't get a higher reward for it?
Each meditation session is of a random length so that could explain why it was higher with regular vs focussed but, on average, you should get the same amount either way: if it is focussed, you get 100% in mood or energy whereas with regular meditation it is split 50-50%.
It seems to have changed, this test I was getting much better results for both using regular meditation to get my mood up than I was with focused. And I was chasing the 50 mood quest, so tried a fair few times, succeeded with the regular meditation :)
I was also having worse results this boot with Focused than with regular meditation. I got MA3 right before the boot, so I wasn't sure if it was something to do with the boot or a difference between MA2 and MA3.
I agree with Teena & mirth. I had absolutely no luck getting the 50 mood quest with meditation focused on mood during this last test. By just doing meditation (in general) I think it took three tries.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The rain showered over the lands. Little streams were forming down the paths of Groddle hights. A bird crows from far behind, letting it lean closer to a weak moan then the sharp sound of the powerfull creature. The plains of The Meadow are forsaken, but the presence of a lonly Glitch. A soaked cowl over his head, his robes that were once white stained with mud and water. That Glitch is sitting under a tree that lost all but a few off his leaves, letting the rain clatter against muddy earth underneath as if it was cold hard metal. That glitch is not me. It is nothing more then a personification in the world the giants created. A personification that I once reckoneed was more important then anything else. A foolishness I've only abandonned recently.Yet I am wiser now. The sound of the rain has long but faded uppon me, the water that runs down my face evaporrated. Where I, the real I, am...There is no rain there. More to say, to whole concept of 'rain' is strange to that place, as is annything material or senible inthe normal world. I am at the mind of the giants, the mind of Cosma. I am home. -the art of meditating
