These were announced in one of the last two tests. I went to the garden vendor to get them but they were not available. I look forward to buying them next time!
Yay! Now I can be just about completely self-sufficient when it comes to my food needs except for things like olive oil, hooch, and a few other items from the grocers. :D
I'm all for parsnip seed! Maybe it will replace the unnecessary strawberry and grain seed. And maybe that will make room for radishes and turnips to return...
Currently the only way to get parsnips is through the grocery vendors. A lot of people would rather just keep some in their backyard rather than have to travel a bunch of streets just for parsnips.
Well, I'm glad parsnips are back or I might have thought I was losing my mind. Because test before last a gardening vendor had parsnip seeds on offer, I bought three packets, planted them and grew them. But when I tried to get more seeds from my piggies by feeding them parsnips, they refused to plop. Figuring it was a fluke, I went back to the vendor for more seeds and discovered that they had disappeared from the vendor's inventory as if they'd never been.
I think the parsnips also go in awesome stew? Hurray for parsnip seeds :)
P.S. - I believe the parsnips are bought at produce vendors not grocery vendors. You get mushrooms at grocery vendors...although I don't get why you can't buy mushrooms at produce vendors as well!
yes i use parsnips in meat tetrazzinis and i get them from produce vendors. At last i won't have to scour groddle for parsnips. i also need mushrooms for tetrazzinis. any chance we can grow those, if not in our yards, then maybe in the herb gardens in shimla?
And add me as another who thinks we need to be able to grow mushrooms. You know, mushrooms grow best in fertilizer. Maybe we need to have some way of using piggy plops as fertilizer for gardens (especially if we can grow 'shrooms in our backyard).
And if we can grow 'shrooms in our backyard, can we also mix them with the flower seeds and make even better hallucinogens?
