Here’s a spreadsheet that might be useful to you cooks out there: Glitch Food & Drink Profit. It’s a new and improved version of my Food & Drink Cost Spreadsheet (for the Lazy)*. All of the recipes have been updated, and now you can adjust the cost of basic harvestables like cherries, bubbles, etc. to see how much a dish will cost to make. (Edit: Harvestables are items you can only obtain by harvesting or others' harvesting, and not through a vendor.) This shared version will not be modifiable, but you should be able to save a version for yourself.
The first sheet contains all of the basic values - a harvestables chart that will affect the second sheet's information, along with some reference information as to produce & grocery vendor items and simple harvestable conversions. The second sheet lists the items, recipes, harvestables versus purchasables, and cost versus selling price. The profit column will show items that sell at a loss in red, items that net you 0 through 10 in yellow, and items that profit greater than 10 per in green; these rules are also modifiable, if you like.
Again, the spreadsheet does not take energy cost into account at all, as it is geared towards players who have plenty of energy to spare. It also assumes that instead of growing or harvesting, you will buy ingredients (even things like mustard, strawberries, and buns) whenever possible because - hey, your time is valuable!
Happy Glitching and bon appetit!
*You can see the old spreadsheet here, in case you’re interested. Recipes that have stayed the same are highlighted in gray; those that have changed are highlighted in pink. The majority of changes were due to flour requiring 5 grain now instead of 1.
