no-no isn't addictive enough

Maybe it's because I've been watching Breaking Bad lately, but I think that No-No isn't that addictive. Therefore it is difficult to establish a No-No market here in Glitch.
If you check the No-No auctions right now, you'll understand what I mean (not much going on).
Any thoughts? :)

  • As I've proposed previously, when the game has Unicorns, the no-no user should get a massive super-harvest of rainbow dust when said Unicorn is tickled.

  • I think any item that would force the user to buy/make it permanently is a bad idea, and far fewer people would use no-no if it became a permanent expense.

    While it would be humorous at first for a Glitch to be addicted to a substance, I don't think it has good long-term potential for in-game pleasure.  I like it the way it is.

  • No-no isn't addictive, but it's a death trip.  You can't use it without a trip to Hell at the end.  But Hell is just a field trip in this game, and not unpleasant at all.

    Some of us use no-no as a regular part of our productive day.

    Actually I don't use it often, it's annoying the recover after hell every single time I use it. :)

  • Now imagine a world where any of us could be a dealer, selling a 99% pure no-no towards to a newbie school. 
    In such would we would need a big rehab center. As most of religious rehabs, there you would need to pray for your recover. How much praying do you think it would be necessary? 1000 Favor? :)

  • Kul Koba, perhaps you should use it 10 minutes or so before the new game day so that you can auto-refresh when you come back?

    And I think that having to keep using no-no or you'll die is enough of an addiction simulator as far as I'm concerned.

    Anyway about the rest, I was exploring the multi-dimensions within the infinite possibilities of imagination. This is a tiny-huge Universe. :)

  • I prefer to be on no-no when I need to grind ore. Flaming Humbabas don't last long enough for me, and no-no also allows me to fix my grinder in between sessions.

  • @SaSa Jack, I'll start doing that. It's definitely a clever use of no-no.
    Flaming Humbabas don't work for grinding big quantities of ore. And all that stress with the short time... it's annoying.

  • *Sort of off-topic* I still haven't had no-no. Ever. People try to peer-pressure me to take it, but I keep on stallin'. I was actually going to have it last night, but then I couldn't teleport, and my friend didn't have a key, and my other friend couldn't teleport, and then I had to go somewhere IRL.
    ...The universe has something against me having no-no...

  • Can't remember if I've had any or not. If I did it was early on when I didn't know what it was but I know I haven't had any since then.  I tend to just eat a few of whatever I've been cooking to up my energy.
    Besides the 11 minutes off No-No I don't see any other badges anyways?

  • Hummm..... If Hell One has no shrines, Hell One should be the most immoral place on Ur. And if the consumption of no-no leads you to Hell, that should mean that using no-no is immoral. :)
    That should also explain why we get less XP with our actions under the influence of no-no, although under other "energetic" substances we have the normal value (with the best mood).
    Therefore we can conclude: there's a discriminatory position in Ur about the energetic substances and that no-no is the only one seen as immoral: one hellish immoral product.
