One of the main reasons I never go mining anymore is the music. Don't get me wrong, it's cute and fitting. I even thought for awhile that we were supposed to be bored witless down there, to remind us not to waste all our fun time. ;)
I am sure I cause great distress to composers everywhere, because the first thing I do after registering for a game is find the button to turn off the music. I am always watching a movie, playing my own music, or on the phone when playing games.
Just to say that the main game music really goes a long way in making the game addictive for me. Also love the various meditation orb musics. Ilmenskie makes me feel claustrophobic though after awhile, even though the general type of music is a very cool change.
I love the game music. I'm normally a music-switcher-offer, but not in Glitch. Still, more music more betterer! Spice is the variety of life & whatnot.
I like having the music low enough that it's not all up in my grill, but loud enough that, say, a Rube visit or Rook attack is immediately apparent. Unless I'm mining; I get weary of the music down there fairly quickly- it's nice, but I go on mining marathons, and it palls after awhile.
