  • Hmmm, rivers make currents, as does electricity.

I can only assume you mean currants, the monetary system in the game.  There are many ways to do this...and many threads already listing many many suggestions.  Top options usually include mining or cooking.

  • I started out digging Peat (yes, I have mentioned it a few times before).  This was good for me as I already had a shovel and did not need a skill to do this.  Peat blocks sell for 8 currants.  Digging them doesn't deplete my resources as much as mining.  Now I also mine but not so much for currants as to get supplies for making things.  I still dig peat.  I recommend going to Klavana where there are still fewer people.  Then did every bog you find.  This should give you a nice collection of currants.  I think all but one of the vendors will pay 8C per block.  The Toy vendor only pays 7 (as I recall).

  • I raised the money for my cottage primarily by mining rocks. Sometimes you get bonuses like gemstones from mining (especially if there are multiple people mining the same rock) which also sell very nicely. Sell everything you mine to vendors.

  • A lot of people like to mine, but I made all my money by harvesting trees and animals. Miners buy a lot of meat, haha, and I prefer to wander instead of being in caves all day. Other people I know cook and sell it back to the tool vendor in cebarkul.

In short, pick the activity that you enjoy most and skill up in that. The money will follow. I don't get many gems because I almost never mine, but I earn 8-10 music blocks every 8-10 streets or so. It adds up fast. And now I have a 50k alakol house and earn more from gardening, too!

  • Okay. I mine for the stuff. But these suggestions are really good. Do any of these suggestion require anything? Like Skills?

Edit: Should Gardening be a good way to earn Currents?

  • You have to learn Mining 1 to be able to mine.  You have to learn gardening and soil skills to be able to garden and grow crops.  Almost everything in the game needs a skill in order to make it profitable.

  • Collecting meat and fruit can be done at any level, but you get a lot more per harvest with the appropriate skills. But anyone can walk up to a pig, pet him and then nibble to get some meat. Eat what you need to stay alive (piggy petting and nibbling does not take much energy) and sell the rest.
