There are many items in the game which do not offer strategic profit, such as Cubimals or Herbs (herbs give you buffs, but not very useful ones.) Another thing about this game is that once you get a hundred thousand currants, all the skills, completed all the achievements, whatever, it is hard to think of something else to do (well, I guess you could invoke tree wars, but that gets old too). I believe that Glitch could benefit from taking inspiration from the kind of games played on handheld devices like itouches to both give people something to do and look forward to and to give these semi-useless items a place in the strategy of Glitch.
Take this example that builds off of the NDS game "Pokemon": what if, instead of racing cubimals, you could battle them? Each herb that you "fed" a cubimal would teach it a "move" that varied in effectiveness against other types of cubimals. Once a cubimal won enough battles, it would "level up" and become stronger.
Of course, if it was left at that, people who had enough money could just buy several cubimals until they got a really good one. This issue could be fixed by not being able to buy cubimals, but instead having to find them/breed them/etc.
Thoughts? Please?
