What on earth is the point of the quoin multiplier cards?

I have poured my iMG into three of the 20% quoin multiplier and one of the 50% quoin multiplier cards.  I still have a cap of 100 quoins per day, and I'm still getting a lousy 8(whatever) from quoins, so what exactly is the point?  *scratches head*

  • multiplies what a quion is worth when you collect it

  • The effects are cumulative; the amounts you have bought aren't enough to make a noticeable different yet, but the more you buy, the more each quoin's value will go up. It's a long-term investment.

  • It can REALLY help when you pour huge amounts into it. I'm up to a 59 times multiplier and the quoins in the Ancestral lands drop over 1000 of each product on me.

  • Are you collecting them with low mood?  Mood makes a huge difference.

  • Teamouse has a low multiplier.

Think back of when you were a wee lil glitch, those quoins were worth 1. As you leveled the quoins became more and more valuable. Behind the scenes TS was increasing your multiplier.

Now they have given you some multiplier bump during the switch and iMG for the balance. You can use that iMG to buy quoin multiplier back or any other increase in skills.

^^ that is your upgrades page which shows a multiplier of 7.6, rounds to 8/quoin.

The day the switch happened you had 6.5 which was probably rounding to 7/quoin.

So those 4 purchases just don't feel like they've done anything.

  • Teamouse, there are upgrade cards to permanently increase the number of quoins you can collect each day. You might not want to purchase them until you have the three Numismatizers Achievements though. The potion Elixir of Avarice will increase your limit to 150.

  • the upgrades to quion getting over 100 does not effect the numismatiser badges :) so buy away! For the badges it remains at 100 quions even if you upgrade to 150.

  • @ anne216: ah, thanks for providing the correct information about the numismatiser badges. I hadn't realized that question had already been resolved:)

  • Does anybody know what the coins are worth based on different multipliers?

  • Coins vary greatly in their base value but the most common value is 1 for mood and energy and 1.2ish for imagination.

With my modifier which is 46 I get 46 mood and energy and like 55 imagination from the standard coins but I have picked up coins that are worth well over 3,000.

  • Imagination quoins are worth 1 too, the multiplier for a full mood bar just happens to be 120% not 100% :) But it's essentially the same ;)
