Since the implementation of energy tank upgrades that go well above and beyond the level 60 capacity prior to iMG, mood management has become a much larger chore than I think it was intended to be. At this point, the only viable options in the game to maintain a large mood tank are rookswort and savory smoothies. Both are very specialized, and utilize buffs that either come with a delayed effect or have to be babysat.
I think some standard drinks could be made that we can produce and drink in bulk for larger mood returns, kinda like how Energy can be well-maintained through high-end recipes like Awesome Stew and Tasty Pasta. Without further ado, I will bring up some new drink ideas for our blender:
Strawberry Milkshake
Restores 100 mood. Stacks at 12. Worth ~100 currants.
Ingredients: 5 ice, 4 butterfly milk, 1 butterfly butter, 10 strawberries
Shroom Soda
Restores 60 mood. Stacks at 12. Worth ~60 currants.
Ingredients: 2 honey, 3 tiny bubbles, 2 laughing gas, 6 mushrooms
Crystal Sea Slurpee
Restores 20% of your maximum mood immediately. Stacks at 5. Worth ~200 currants.
Ingredients: 1 plain crystal, 20 blue bubbles, 20 ice, 20 salt
I intentionally chose ingredients that, currently, get very little use otherwise. Hopefully one day some of the vendor-only items will be harvestable in the world, through new animals or trees or whatever. I included them in the recipes so that should they become harvestable, they'll already have nice recipes to be used in. :)
