"Last animal" glow

Especially when you're on a street with 20 butterflies, it can be really annoying to follow up on harvesting - I've massaged a lot of butterflies without being able to milk them, mostly because I couldn't find the butterfly I'd massaged again.  It might also be that they're jealous: you can't massage several and go back to milk them.

It would be really nice if animals that you'd petted or massaged were at least highlighted somehow - even if only in the "which butterfly do you want to interact with" popup...

  • I had the exact same idea in mind. In addition, if an animal is 'done,' it is shaded or otherwise visually affected to show that it's done.

  • I think we need to have a few areas with nice low animal limits, near where new players come into the world.

I learned to milk butterflies in a world not nearly as overpopulated with animals.  For me it was hard enough to find the right butterfly again when there were only 5 on the street.  Now with 10-20ish on MANY streets, it seems way too tough.

  • related:   I have about 20 pigs in my pen at home, and trying to make sure each individual porker has been petted properly is a nightmare.

  • Does anyone think petting or feeding piggies make your meat collectors fill up faster?

  • I've read that it does.  Have no definitive proof though (other than dead pigs only give meat once....)

  • kevbob: "There are several variables that factor into collection rates for these items. Animals in the location cannot be sad; piggies need to be full to produce meat when a collector starts; if a collector starts it's collect run and there is a closer, non full collector, the first one will not collect anything."
