What rocks are needed for what powders? (Contribute)

Here's what you do:

1) Have these links in two tabs

Chart of Rocks and the Elements they give.
- Click on GrindOTron

2) On GrindOTron, fill up everything with 1000 elements of each you might be able to get away with less... just keep it consistent to avoid errors, etc.

3) Choose any type of powder that isn't calculated out yet:

4) Hit Grind!Mix!Alchemize!

5) Look at the post powder elements: http://prntscr.com/7vcjf

6) Subtract if from what you started with, E.g. the Post Grind Elements

7) If it requires Shiny Elements, then you are forced to use Sparkly Rock first...from there calculate what else comes from the sparkly/dullite/beryl that gets used first, and see what other rock is needed to fit the bill. Try the most efficient way possible that uses the least amount of rocks, and least amount of type of rocks... if that makes sense. (See fertilidust. My grammar usage sucks either way.) Don't be afraid to post alternate ways, I might add that to the Google Doc.

8) Post a comment below here, or check someone's results...

9) Wait for me, or someone else to post the stats on Glitch Strategy.... xD

Le google doc with current stats (Public-ish, can't edit :P)  Let me know if that becomes outdated...

  • Fertilidust: 39 Sparkly, 23 Dullite, and one Beryl.

Might as well just use 40 Sparkly and 23 Dullite.

  • Rook, could you edit the title to describe the links better?  I'm thinking about the future, when I run a search to find this thread again.

  • Fertilidust Lite: 13 Dullite, 14 Sparkly
    No-No: 13 Sparkly, 5 Beryl

  • Mild Fecundity: 37 Dullite, 16 Beryl, 77 Sparkly makes for lowest "extra" elements at the end.
Other options: 37D/85B/8S, but this leaves you with over 1000 extra Red)

  • Startling Fecundity: 51 Dullite, 90 Beryl, 58 Sparkly (only 356 leftover elements, mostly Red)

  • Sneezing Powder: 2 Dullite, 23 Beryl, 4 Sparkly. 333 leftover elements, again mostly Red.

  • Sparkle Powder: This one is tricky to optimize. You'll either end up with a lot of extra shiny, or a LOT lot of extra Red.
    24 Dullite, 83 Beryl = 1330! extra Red
    24 Dullite, 83 Sparkly = 498 extra Shiny

  • hah! Melody Pond already did all the hard work. Shame I didn't see her reply until now. And here I was just plugging numbers into the grind-o-tron to minimize leftovers :)
