Hoppers for machines

After making some Urth blocks today, I thought about how this process could be a bit easier.  Since we only have one block type now, I'm wondering if we could have "hoppers" as add-ons to the machines.  We'd put our ingredients in the hoppers, and then we'd just have to push a button to make a block or fuel cell. Each hopper could contain up to 16 stacks of the ingredient.  We could have an additional "finished goods" hopper so that all we'd have to do is fill up the ingredient hoppers, push a button, then come back later to collect, like we do with our stills.

  • The really fun thing about this idea is that it is a way of making the machines look bigger and crazier!

  • Yes, please. Make it a second add-on you've gotta purchase or craft, and allow it to function similar to stills, in that putting a full amount of materials into the hopper will allow it to be a bit more automated. To account for having to unload each block, perhaps a secondary "conveyor" add-on or some kind of drop-box for the completed blocks.

  • I would love some sweet Rube Goldberg action on my various machines and cooking tools.  Using add-ons for tools/machines would be a great plus to learning an advanced skill.
