Dear devs, can we have a hint about house/yard iMG costs so we can budget? - edit - Link to Stoot answer found, thanks!!!

I'm in a bit of a quandry.  I got about a million iMG in the conversion and I don't know whether to save or spend!  The character upgrades are super-fun and I've merrily spent 100K iMG and am sure I will be wanting to spend more as soon as I get my next card reshuffle.

My dilemma is that I really, really, really want to be able to imagine large herb and crop gardens in my back yard, enough room for piggies, and a couple patches in the front when we have the housing changeover.  I don't have the faintest clue how much iMG I need to save for my yard.  Will my imaginings cost 100K?  500K?  1M and I need to go toss a bunch of stuff in shrines?

If anyone has time, could we possibly have a few iMG cost hints for those of us who are really fond of the new housing part of the game and are wanting to plan?

  •   Stoot saidbudget about 100k iMG for fully upgrading your current yard and home street and you should have some left over at the end.

  • Now you get to earn more to build the house of your dreams!
100k should go pretty quick, if you spent all your imG on special powers.
    Lucky.
I'm holding imG in reserve, so I won't be as super as you.

  • I wonder if upgrading your "current yard and home street" (emphasis mine) means just expanding your yards and putting in plots, trees, rocks, etc. My concern is that it will cost tons more to add a second floor, put in a couple dozen SDB's, etc.  (e.g. upgrading your home rather than your yard and street). Maybe I'm taking stoot's words too literally. I've been called pedantic more than once. Today.

I think some of the angst out there comes from this kind of uncertainty over what the ultimate value (read: purchasing power) of imagination will be. That has a vocal minority (perhaps significant minority?) nervous about buying upgrades now. I'm personally holding back and only planning on spending about 1/3 of my iMG until we have more clarity. And I have no problems doing so whatsoever. Honestly? I think this upgrade not only rocks, but its been handled spectacularly well. My tolerance for ambiguity is rather high though. So there. ;-)

  • It doesn't cost iMG to upgrade houses. Upgrading houses takes materials and projects. It's only the yards that take iMG. (I had that worry briefly when I read his response yesterday, but then I remembered.)
