Cost to replenish resources

I just depelete my first resource since the housing reset. It's much more expensive than I was expecting! I'm wondering if anyone has been keeping track of how much each resource costs to replenish, and whether the costs changes at all based on other resources on the street, etc.

Anyway I killed a firefly hive, and to get it back would take:
4 boards
8 screws
50 units of construction work
1 crystal
8 pepper
12 camphor
10 tumeric
50 units of digging

  • Do the resources last longer than they did during testing?

  • I'm not sure how many jars I got from it...probably at least 25?

  • Didn't the projects during the tests say the real ones would use less resources? What did it take to fix a hive back then.

It is a work in progress. It will probably get tweaked over time.

  • I was wondering about this, too. I've haven't had to restore a project yet, but with each resource added to the street the iMG cost went up. So a 'restore' is not in iMG only? And each restore costs more materials than the last? Hmm didn't know that.  I was hoping that the iMG cost stayed the same as long as I didn't add any additional resource to my street--it's why I saved iMG instead of spending it all on upgrade cards. It would be nice if the street costs were lower than the backyard costs, but hey, what's a little extra harvesting after all?

I thought it said the opposite - that real ones would use more resources. Which makes sense as during the test furniture and deco was free but the they needed to test the mechanic so made the cost nominal

  • Eh, that's really not terribly too bad. Most of it is easily gettable spices and good old fashioned hard work. And I'd imagine more basic resources like patches and plots are easier to get going again.

But I'm curious as to if it would be more cost effective to simply remove it and place a new one down with Imagination. Maybe if you only had one or two resources on your street? I'm also not really sure how the price raising works. Do Imagination costs go up for every resource you've placed ever, or is it just based on how many resources you have on your street?
