  • About that, if you fed four meat to a batterfly, you could feed one more, and it will give another guano. It makes sense to me.

  • i feed them 3 planks and get one guano

  • @leites I'm pretty sure it only stores up until a guano is made, after that, it resets.

  • @ Negata - looks like you're right.   Didn't get a poop on the second feeding.

  • Doesn't seem to reset.

I feed the batterfly 3 meat, got one guano, added 2 more, and got another. Maybe that's considering who fed it what before?

  • 2 meat always = 1 guano

  • What have I been doing? lol. I should check the results on the wiki I guess...

  • @Alec Berg... I'm totally gonna try the 3 Tomatoes! That sounds like the way to go cost wise. I can grow a ton of tomatoes easy. Thanks. :)

  • Let's see.
15 currants of value or more - 1 guano
50 currants of value or more - 2 guano
100 currants of value or more - 3 guano
Sometimes he might give you extra, say giving 10 grain = 10 currants, but it is 1 guano.
You have to consider what is still in the batterfly's stomach though.
Say I fed one 14 grain. No guano. But then you came along and fed it 1. Guano! (then of course, I would steal it)

  • If you repeat the 15 currant process three times, you've spent 45 currants, which is like spending something worth 50 currants, but saving 5 currants and getting one extra guano. Lots of time is killed in the process though.

  • 3 meats = 1 guano so you get a bit more than doing the 10 meats for 3 guanos ... it just takes more time.

  • I'll try cabbage, but like Zany said, 2 meats =1 guano, and yes, it does take up more time. Meat is too valuable to waste haha.

  • Rook - Feeding 3 eggs (15c) three times nets you 3 guano. 5 meat gets you 2 guano, saving the time needed for a feeding. Personally, I take the time savings, and am happy to waste the 20c of energy. Feeding 10 meat and wasting 55c of energy is just too steep for me.

Tsu Dho Nihm - 3 meats is massive overkill - 2 meat (20c) will get you 1 guano. If you're burning 3, I suggest burning 5 meat (50c) & getting the 2 guano.

  • I think 3 eggs would be 12c? Since they come for 4 currants each.
Posted 11 months ago by Rook Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Eggs are worth 5c each for calculating their value for guano & favor (donating). I suspect most vendors will  currently pay 4c.
Posted 11 months ago by Sturminator 5 Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Ah, so that's what you meant. :) I guess either way, 15 currants is one guano.

  • I've always just used 10 planks. It's a compromise between time and resources to go for the two per plop. The three guano per plop just seems to cost a tad bit too much and the 1 guano per plop just wastes too much time which you could be using elsewhere.

10 planks sell for 40 currants and gets you 2 guano.

Meat works well too but I find meat a bit harder to come by than planks. It takes a lot of piggies to make 40 meat but only a single wood tree harvest to make 80 planks which is equivalent in value for guano collecting .

  • 3 planks = 1 guano? Does 10 get ya 3?

  • 3 eggs = 1 guano

    And, like, they're right there.

    I'm glad we don't :)

  • I've made a lot of hard bubbles, since you only need one, the value of it fits (5 currants per guano), and you can't really screw up.
Posted 10 months ago by Rook Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I always feed them 2 meat for 1 guano, i think.  It seems like a better return especially since I maxed out AK and get tons of super harvests.

  • So, say you have a specific food that you want to feed a batterfly, do you just drop every other type of food at home? Or drop it on the floor? lol
