I went away for about an hour and a half and when I returned, all the butterflies in my house had flittered away. Has this happened to anybody else? Any ideas what could have happened?
It's not that I mind replacing the butterflies, but I don't understand why they all die at the same time? If they have a life span then they should die at the appropriate time, either due to age or milking. Not a mass extermination! Some of mine were quite recent additions.
Mine were all gone when I logged on for the first time last test. I posted a bug report about it because I thought it was strange all of them disappeared at the same time, even though they were different ages. The dev response was that they do "die" after being interacted with a certain number of times, and yes--milk collectors count! I still don't know why they all went away at the same time, though--maybe the counter started on all of them after they were all added. I just replaced them too, but my biggest concern was making sure this was suppose to happen.
Well, only some things are truly paused during the breaks. For example, milkers and meat collectors keep going. So your animals may have all died at slightly different times, but it seems like the same to you, since you couldn't be in game during the action.
