Ugh Glitch I HAKE YOU

No really I hate you and let me tell you why…

Because I get no work done knowing that this awesome new housing release is here! Why couldn’t you wait another day?! How dare you rush back online for all these other people, don’t you know the world revolves around ME?!?!

Because you constantly give me more things to do, pffft what the heck is up with that anyways??? Because the choices weren’t good enough before, you are now offering so many more options like furniture making? HUH don’t we have robots for that??? (Robots, now there is a great idea!!) I mean come on, when am I supposed to sleep???

Because you take the time to follow along all sorts of crazy random comments while simultaneously working on getting said new stuff out for us (I mean me of course remember the whole world revolving around me thing) to do. We (I) don’t need stuff to do! We (I) like just staring at the wall! And I don’t want you to respond to me! What the hell? I like to think that staff are above the rest of us! What’s wrong with you???

Because, well there are just too many other reasons for me to list, I just hate you that much.

So basically what I’m saying is that I hate you because you’re just so freaking awesome! I want to be that awesome!!!

In all seriousness now though, thank you a ton. For the upgrades and the changes and even the mess on my floor (I’m a true weirdo I love the idea that I get to re-organize all my stuff and if I could offer services to everyone else to organize their stuff I’d do it in a heartbeat).

There are so many complaining threads running rampant. And I’m not saying (to those of you who are angry) that people are wrong; everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But I do want to take the time to say thanks. I might not love it all, or even like it all, but the good FAR outweighs the bad and for that I’m very grateful.

I’ve played a lot of games, and Glitch has truly captivated me. Anything that has seemed similar to other games you’ve changed, or done in your own unique way. I recommend to my friends, and co-workers even there are several of us sitting around playing instead of working, and will continue to do so. Specially once out of beta :)

In a word.
Thanks.

edit: for title correction of new version of "hate", thanks to Spaghetti Thompson and to Otto Otto for bringing it up in the first place :)

  • lol SeerQueen that was my evil ploy to pull in the angry people so they could see that there are non-angry people that are still enjoying things :) ... Course that probably only angers them more, hmmmmm

  • A big giant Uma Thurman thumbs up, excellent post. I've spent the last few hours sorting through stuff and gained a perverse pleasure from it.

  • I hate Glitch for the fact that the game is totally free, yet somehow every few months Tiny Speck coerces me into giving them money anyway. Dangit!

  • Yes, I hate Glitch too. I hate it that it's what I am thinking about at work instead of working. >.<

  • " yet somehow every few months Tiny Speck coerces me into giving them money anyway."

hahaha right there with ya! I look at this as a challenge to rationalize my spending. I've come up with things like "well I don't smoke/drink/do drugs" and if I "did" do any of those highly bad things I'd be spending way way more. So my uh "drug" of choice is much cheaper in comparison ... I'm sure I've come up with other rationalizations as well, aliens made me do it and such things

  • Viresse, I totally agree and you are AWESOME!  +1!!

  • Ha, Viresse, I've rationalized too.

I'd spend this much for one evening at [bar/show/event]!
    It's way cheaper than therapy!
    I can quit anytime!*

  • Shouldn't it be 'habe"? Lobe and habe. Two sides of the same quoinb.

  • Wonderful to see this amongst the negative garbage! I so appreciate everything Stoot and all the terrific devs have been doing...goodness Bees! held our hands until after midnight pst last night lol.

  • I'd think "habe" would be have. The term for hate needs a harsher consonant. Perhaps "hake" would do?

  • Aw, and here my high horse was buckin' in the stable, ready to take me out for a good long ride...and you had to go and be a sweetheart. Well I'm sure I can find at least one complainer elsewhere to go clip-clopping on ;)

  • Let me preface this by saying that I enjoy Glitch so much that I talked 2 of my co-workers into playing after only a week-ish of playing myself. So they are just as addicted as I am.

Walk into work this morning, haven't even put down my purse and I hear "I have questions for you!" and I knew immediately that it was about glitch.

Neither of my co-workers complained about the moving boxes and the mess, in fact one was suggesting she might not unpack one box because they are so damn cute! (And I must agree, I wouldn't mind having a moving box just cuz of it's total cuteness). What she did say (laughing) was she totally did not clean her kitchen last night because she got so wrapped up on glitch.

The other was busy dealing with her 2 year old pfft (lol) but she is a programmer and totally understands the concept of "beta" and is rolling with the punches (changes) with total grace, and is looking forward to lunchtime today so she can go in and play some herself.

So there ya have it 2 more people that are totally happy and still loving the game.

I can't say the same for our bosses though to be honest... they're like HELLO WORK PLEASE NOW K??

Oh also I think I like "hake" it does sound harsh enough (I shall now edit the title hehe)
