How do you Garden/Herbalize?

When planting seeds, do you tend/water/plant each plot one by one, or do you tend the entire garden, water the entire garden, and then plant all the seeds?

  • I generally do all of one verb at once (collect all, then weed all, then water all, then plant all, or reverse the last two if the ground is still wet). Sometimes, it's different, it really depends.

  • I try to do the front ones as they become clear of animals, quickly before they all come back and stand in the way. Sometimes it drives me crazy trying to get them all done :D

  • I do the entire process to each square before moving on to the next. Makes the most sense for me because I use the keyboard instead of a mouse.

  • I do the same as Dr.MaudGonne. Never have to worry about animals that way.

  • I try to keep my garden patches watered because I like the look of the wet soil better.  When I plant, I usually plant all the patches and then check to see if any of them need to be "nourished".  After I harvest I hoe the patch and wet them down.  Sometimes the order varies if my chickens, pigs and butterflies get in the way.
