I'm excited by talk of new animals and trees in the game! What do you want to see most? What function would it serve? Would you want one in your house?
Me, I want a houseful of kittens who bear wool and bunnies who sneeze chocolate when tickled.
A dinosaur that randomly bounds down the street throwing unaware glitches high into the air and occasionally eating one. You wind up in "dinosaur's stomach", and need to fight your way out. Bonus guano when you succeed!
I'd like a pet rat so I can call him Farts. And a big tomcat to chase rat Farts. Or a hamster in a wheel to keep my still going. Or would that be animal cruelty?
Western dragons for 50/30k houses, and a water house with a serpent, an ice dragon for the frost houses, a land dragon for the bogs.
Trees-
Bee tree, with bee hives that can be harvested for honey, like jelliasics.
A tree that spawns one thing every 30 min.
There should also be floating mountains, like in the movie Avatar, with all the beasts and stuff like that.
Sheep, bunnies, baby chickens and pigs that mature, caterpillars that stay that way for a while before they change into butterflies, lizards, snails, and baby dragons would be cute! If you were in their way, they could fire-bomb your butt to get you to move!
Mushroomopus/Cephaloshroom (like in Illemenskie)
Bog Lizards
Venus Flytraps (big Audrey II looking things)
"pet" Batterflies
Snails that tp you to other random snails
Rocks with googley eyes
Bees!! I really, REALLY want bees! Bees in trees, bees with fleas . . . wait, I went all Dr. Seuss there for a minute. Must have been spending too much time in Ilmenskie ;)
Pet batterflies would be fabulous -- and I love the idea of a dragon that could toast things into glass, ceramics, etc., given that it opens up a whole new realm of crafted items! :D
Wow, Venus Flytraps would be really interesting...but what would we feed them??? Fireflies?? :O Definitely animals that are wild and strange, though. I do like the idea of sheep, though! Shear wool, knit sweaters...just think of all the beautiful Christmas sweaters!
Hippos would be great. They could have their own little pools and to water our gardens we could get the hippo to jump and create a splash watering everything at once. We could also ride around on them through the streets.
Lizards could help us catch fireflies, which in turn help us catch salmon, which would help us feed pet penguins. Once the penguins have been fed salmon they give us ice, and at times, the power to slide on our bellies quickly along a street/s for a certain amount of time.
P.S we could feed meat to the venus fly trap, and in return it could give us a type of secretion or pollen that is released only x amount of food. This pollen or secretion could be combined with plain crystals to create...
+1 for bees, pet batterflies and tiny dragons. Also a cockerel so the chickens would have something more interesting to squawk about :) And how about a songbird that would sing tunes and sit in any tree in your garden? Or a number of them like the music blocks?
Mushrooms that talk like 20's Chicago gangsters!
Baby Sloths that you give food and they give giant mood boost
Axolotls?
Honestly, most any of the Vendor creatures, unleashed on the world as non-vendors.
Angry Fireflies that "Know What You Did Last Crystalmillizing"
Bees
Pangolins?
Talking Cacti?
Axolotls (water dogs) that can walk on land. Or maybe gremlins/elves.
What I really want is a "demon" like in that one Golden compass movie: Everyone had their own demon. (animal). I'd want one that stays on my shoulder, but when I get home, it'd wander around and point out things like "piggies look hungry" :)
Kangaroos (or kangaroo mice) to harvest bags (pouches) from. The animation could be really cute, with it pulling out a "spare pouch". It should be one per person per day, for all animals of that type (not just one per animal per day), otherwise they would be too common. Maybe these can be small pouches, like 4 item boxes, in which you can leave items for newbies. And maybe, once filled, they can only be picked up by people level 12 or under, or the person who filled/dropped them. :-)
