restoring vs replacing cultivated items???

OK so I just finished restoring a large herb garden and the costs were as follows

12 boards
3 string
150 earth
30 peat
22 guano
22 plops

it also took a bunch of construction tool units like 150 I think and shovel units 200 i think. I know the units may be off because i didn't write them down but the time and energy was quite a bit!

So my big question is ...  Does the img cost keep rising for every garden I cultivate or does it stay the same if I remove it and replace it?

after all it took, I would much rather spend the img for a new one if my prices don't keep going up.

ps  there was a bug when i replaced the large herb garden also but that is in the bug forum. It replaced with a 16 plot regular garden without wood borders http://www.glitch.com/snaps/PUVRF962O7F2A3C/10882-05243c89f6/

I think I'm too lazy to replace it like that, so I'd remove it.

  • I was wondering the same thing about my cultivated items.  If you remove everything, do your prices go back down to when you had nothing cultivated?  If not, eventually it will become very expensive to have anything in your yards at all.

  • I just answered my own question because i had 2 of my 3 barnacle pods needed to be restored at the same time.

The IMG cost does not go up when replacing your item! looks like I will certainly be removing them instead of restoring.

Also for those who want to know what a barnacle pod costs to restore

    4 boards
    1 string
    50 construction tool units
    1 fertiledust
    5 cardamom
    50 shovel units
