The Farewell letters.

So, say a glitch doesn't want to play anymore for some reason, gets deleted via hack, or gets deleted via dev. I was thinking that there should be a form via offline that someone could fill out and send which would be then sent to all of his/her friends so it would notify them, and so the person on the other end would know that they were able to get their message acrossed, of course the message might, should be different for each person, and regulated.

I hope that makes sense, thanks.

  • You know me, I don't like to rain on anyone's parade (especially not yours), but:

    1. in the event of someone leaving glitch, a notice could be sent out at any time, entirely within their control. Likewise, deleting an account is a very permanent - somewhat unnecessary - step.

    2. In the event of a hack, I should sincerely hope that a) this doesn't happen to begin with and b) the response is to reactivate the account, not leave it up for dead and send out a farewell note.

    3. A banned account is, by most standards, forfeit. When you screw up that badly, few allowances should be afforded you, and rightly so. Any former friend who wishes to inquire will, upon investigation, discover that the account has been banned / is no longer active.
