If you had to give one piece of advice to a newly thought-up glitch (or, considering we're all going to be reset/rethought again, anybody), what would it be?
Agreeing with the Pirate here. When I first started, I treated it like other MMOs, where your first character is like a test and useless unless you have strategy guides lined up for every level (stat distributions will get messed up, you won't get the right gear, you won't learn the skill that's best, etc). But Glitch isn't like other MMOs in that fact; you can't mess up your character. Feel free to make mistakes, die a few times to see what it's like, explore cold places without hearty food :P
If you're worried about Currants, learn Mining as fast as you can and donate to Zille whenever possible in order to get to 1000 favor sooner, which you'll need for Mining III! And don't mine other peoples' rocks without asking, lol.
Don't blow off watering/petting/harvesting/nibbling/squeezing once you realize trees and animals are all over the place. When you start getting quests, it's good to have all that shizz on hand in comfy quantities.
