We've just added about 50 new clothing items to our wardrobe. They should be easier to find too, since you can now sort "newest-oldest" (and also by price). Let us know what you think.
It was on the vanity screen as i recall Stoot - it was a while ago but it said something like your subscription expires today - so i used them all up..........
Bob Apple: aha! The subscriptions and credits are unrelated. The temporary subscriptions say something like "expires sometime today" all the time (I guess we should change that — didn't realize they'd be confused with credits).
Will there be a paypal option to purchase credits please? I prefer not to use my credit card online, especially when its international. Its not that I don't trust you exactly, I'm just in the habit of being a bit cautious.
Otherwise I'm unlikely to be buying many credits.....
p.s. love the new shirts especially - they are fab and a great alternative to mostly vest tops and t-shirts. I can feel a pirate look developing....
Stoot - does that mean then that us poor very hard working testers could perhaps be reimbursed considering the oversight? - after all, that could have caused some huge problems in the V 1.0!
I just noticed that the "sort by newest" doesn't actually seem to work. Was showing me things at the top (like the cardboard robot dress) before things with the "new" blue ribbon...
I have to say i have extra $$ but don't want to spend it on credits to use on clothes that will be wiped out during the reset.... unlee-ess (sing-songy) we get to keep our stuff and characters from here on out??
Another question: will subscriptions be purchased solely with cards or can we purchase them with credits? It would be nice to buy some credits now and use them to get a subscription once it gets enabled.
so the credits listed on the page are already doubled? meaning the cheapest 40 credit pack is normally 20 credits? i bought it and was kind of expecting 80 credits...
@rachel it sounds as though you will get the bonus credits when it gos live ...
Beta Special Beta testers get all credit purchases doubled and more! To thank you for making Glitch better, whatever you purchase during beta testing will be doubled when we launch. It's like a 2 for 1 sale: we'll automatically deliver a matching number of credits into your account on launch day for every purchase you make now. But wait, there's more! For every $10 you spend during Beta, you'll also receive one 100-pack of credits and a free month subscription to give away to friends. It's nice to be nice.
No, read the rest of the message on that (click on the more details button or whatever it is)--you will get the extra credits after the game goes live, plus a bunch of other stuff for every $10 you spend.
@Divine beat me to it, and quoted the details too!
@ sc803, Devine,Shep: TY! I thought "launch" referred to beta launch. That's what I get for getting too excited about the game opening:) Too much caffaine this morning!
PayPal: we intended to add this at some point, but had no idea the demand would be so great (previous experience with a PayPal-only setup led us to believe people wanted direct CC payments more, but … times change!)
Credit Doubling: As a few people already pointed out, the doubling happens when we launch for real (i.e., after beta is done). These are the standard prices we're going with (so they are not already doubled).
Bob Apple, I spent mine that day too... silly me... but it's just clothing, and there are still no bunny suits, so I'm not too upset. :)
Nuknuk, our vanities and wardrobes survived the last reset, so my guess is that they'd survive the next one as well, especially if some of us are actually paying for clothes.
Resets/Avatars/Credits: We have no plans to reset avatars/customizations in the final reset (only one more is planned) and it is really unlikely that we would. IF we did, we would definitely refund all credits spent by anyone who purchases credits between now and then.
