To the Palsa Mosch Glitchmas decoration thief:

When I first went outside and realized my decorations were missing, I felt sad. But then I realized, it's Humbug! Of course! So, in the spirit of both Humbug and Glitchmas*, I have something for you worth much more than you took.

Ping me (or find me in game) after you replace the decor to your liking for your Humbug Present. And may your Humbug be ever so Bah this season :)

* For without Glitchmas, your Humbug would be much more blah than bah. And without Humbug, it would be a bit harder for me to remember the Glitchmas spirit. May the Giants bless us, everyone!

  • Man, what the hell is wrong with people?  Seems like some bad glitches have been taking anything that isn't nailed down everywhere lately.

  • It's possible whoever took the items didn't realize they were decorations, as not everyone looks at items in the same way. I like how Vera decided to focus on the positive aspect and look at it as Humbug instead. :D

  • aww to be fair, the decorations were up for about 5 days. I never truly expected them to last as long as they did and it was just a hundred beans or so and a few cherries. No harm done :)

I'm really hoping the Humbugger will see the post or note I left and decorate the place back up. Maybe it'll give them a bit of the Glitchmas spirit. Maybe not. But they'll get a nice treat out of it anyway and the rest of us on the street will have decorations to enjoy. Win. Win.

  • I think it may depend on the neighborhood too, because in my neck of the woods, stuff can be dropped and no one picks it up. For instance someone went on a cubimal binge, putting tons of common cubis down the street (each meticulously spaced out I might add), and they were there for days before they were all gone.

  • I think things left on streets eventually disappear on their own, they just kinda expire. I could be wrong but it's possible nobody stole them.

  • Aww I came home to a lovely display! I don't know who did it, but it's beautiful!

    Merry Humbug & Bah Glitchmas!

  • Not true Octo. There was note left by a neighbor who released pigs on my block and it had been left there for well over a month I think, until I picked it up.

  • Pigs? Maybe they ate 'em.

  • Ok. As my house is now fabulously decorated (now with booze! and tunes!) and I still have my Humbug Present bag... a contest!

Up for grabs: the Humbug Present bag (which contains, among other things, a Humbaba emblem to ward of the humbugs or to help celebrate them.)

To get it: Decorate Ur! Find a street or a house or whatever and spread the Glitchmas spirit. If you're more of a Humbug, maybe decorate with plops & metal (coal?) instead of bubbles & beans. Whatever! Just have fun with it :) Add your pictures to Grem Sketch's Glitchmas Decoration thread. The winner will be picked randomly using a random number generator. There may also be other goodies for participants - though who knows what.

  • Aww, someone took just certain cubimals from another area display.  I thought there was a good chance they'd be hoovered up all at once, but taking just a few of them leaving big gaps makes me a little sad.  It's fixable though!

Edit: On second thought, I wouldn't want anybody to feel like a jerk for taking a few cubies they didn't have.   I just found the garland with gaps a little depressing.
