Thank you for the peat bog quest!

Okay, so first I thought: This is a silly quest. And I know a lot of people around here feel the same. It's difficult, it is annoying, and it stays in your Quest Log forever, because you don't find the right people. Or the right bogs.

But today, after finishing it, I have to say: It was really a fun one! Why? Because it was difficult. Because you had to team up with other people. Because even teamed up and ready, it was a bit tricky to achieve.

And that, in the end, of course feels much more satisfying than quite a few other quest, which basically were much simpler.

So: Thank you Devs, for this quest, and: More group related quests please! More tricky ones!

  • Also, I liked that quest, because it can help you meet new people... No better way to get attached to your friends than to do a really annoying quest together. ;)

  • I totally agree. I have had a ton of fun not only figuring out how to get people together to complete it for myself, but also running into random groups of a few Glitchen in the swamp and offering my peaty assistance. Because obviously if people are conglomerating around peat, it must be the quest!  Which turns into a multi-street, multi-glitch romp.  I feel the same way about the ghost quest. It was really hard but extremely rewarding to complete.

I have been frustrated lately that, due to my longer skill-learning times and higher-level skills, I get fewer and fewer quests. I have so many stores from constantly harvesting that quests are really simple to complete (often within a minute or two of receiving them they are finished).  Some high level skills don't even have associated quests (Piety for example). I would love to have more quests triggered by skill combination or level, or optional quests I could take on by visiting somewhere, or something like that. Ones that take longer or require coordination etc! Multi-part quests? For example, if a higher level player learns a low level skill, perhaps they could have a second, more difficult component added to the quest?   Anyway. I love this game. :)
