Travellers leaderboard

By my count there's somewhere around 225 (give or take) public areas in Glitch.  Yet some appear to be above that number.  Do the interiors of houses increment one's location count?   Another question:  everyone spawns in one of the 3 starting areas initially.  Is there a way to get into the other two (the ones you did not spawn in)?

  • Other people's houses count as locations. :')

Nope, no way to get to the other 'start' streets.

  • Okay, as I'm second up there on the travelers leaderboard and have 230-some places, I'll tell you what I know and what I don't, lol. What I do know: I think that the "start" areas do count, but I guess you can only get one per test because after you've been in once, you come back to wherever you ended the game. So you'd always be missing two locations for those. The interiors of houses don't count for XP points (ETA: at least they didn't for me...maybe Hburger knows something I don't...I don't get XP points for visiting friends' homes the first time...didn't say I did anyway, though I did get the "This is the first time you have visited" message) — but every single block on a "street" where houses are does count, as does every "floor" of the Gregarious Towers apartment building (and I imagine that might be where someone would miss 4 locations, by not taking the elevator to each floor). Interestingly, the community gardens in Groddle Heights counted because it was a new street, but the Meadow and Forest ones didn't because they were just along the street.

What I don't know: how to get the other two "start" areas, which probably you can't do once you're in...and what ONE darn spot I haven't been to that clare has, LOL! Drove me nuts trying to figure it out :D

  • Have you been to Hell?

  • LOL @ Tingly, of course I've been to Hell. You have to die for a quest, remember? But even if I hadn't, I think it'd be pretty hard to play the game without dying a couple times. Plus there was this whole no-no bender episode....(draws curtain over sorry incident)

  • LMAO RM. I'm proud to announce I staved off death for three tests. I purposefully braved it before the end of the last test. I guess I needed to know what it was like. Hmmm no bender..eh? I need to get into the groove..so my three sons tell me...go figure.
