Too much red element

There's too much red element and nothing to do with it.

  • I would support more compounds and powders if that's what you're asking.

  • The red element ratio has been skewed goofy for a long time---I think it's on the the dev "to do list", at least I hope it is.

  • Let's hope it is on the dev's list...I seem to always be running out of sparkly and green and always have too much red and probably about the right amount of blue.  At this point I only crush dullite (for the green) and sparkly and I still have too much red.

  • I think beryl gives just blue/green so that can help you balance it.  (Can't double check now, someone correct me if necessary.)

  • Beryl actually gives 20 red elements per chunk, I think :p
Yep, look here in the wiki.

  • Yep, that's why I rarely crush beryl...and yes, it doesn't make sense, given the color of the rock, it should be just blue and green...lol...they could just zero out the red in the beryl, and that would probably solve a lot of the current issues...

  • Huh, guess I just stopped noticing red.

  • With some hallowed shrine powder, it makes a very nice donation to the shrines. There are uses for everything! :)

  • I think that red element is actually coming from the grinder itself.

  • +1 Nutmeg - Fairly Hallowed Shrine Powder and the Powder of Startling Fecundity require very large quantities of the Red Element.  I think that is why they are available in such abundance.  For those that are not interested in making these, one can always just disperse them.

  • Fertilidust requires loads or red.

too bad we don't require loads of Fertilidust.

  • and no-no powder?

1 no-no powder requires 148 red elements to 101 *all other elements combined* : ]

if you think there is nothing to do with red element, you need to get researching your powder recipes.
