I've been hearing in the FOrums lately about a Conversion, losing Currants in the Conversion, and a House? I have a 7,500 C Bog House, and I don't wanna give it up. :C
If someone can sum it up for me, that would be great.
This thread is all about it, basically they are completly redoing the housing, and starting you off with a plot of land, then you use money called imaginatur, or something like that, to upgrade your house...
imagination is more closely related to XP than to currants.
Some of your currants will convert to imagination but not all. Imagination may be able to convert to currants, and possibly currants to imagination, but "with friction" as Stoot said, which I assume means the conversion will be at a loss -- so if you converted to currants than back to imagination, you'd necessarily have less imagination than you started with. But the conversions are possibilities rather than certainties.
Your house will cease to exist, and no houses will be tied to specific locations in the game, but everything will transfer with no effort on your part (unless you count clicking OK as effort).
Stoot said to not worry about the moving; it will be automatic.
ETA: This post has a good summary of all the questions asked and answered: www.glitch.com/forum/genera...; I figure that will be easier, since you're asking questions already asked and answered by stoot.
TacosBeFriends - I recommend that you check out the summary post that Little Miss Giggles referenced above.
It seemed pretty clear to me from Stoot's posts that the conversion rate was still something TS had to think about, so I wouldn't expect a detailed response from them at this time. He also specifically mentioned that not all Currants would be converted into Imagination because it is convenient to have a currency.
