Pigs and Chickens named "d" and "ddd" and "ddddddd" and etc.

These are clearly the result of someone not realizing they have opened the rename dialog. I would like to see these be fixed serverside.

  • Might not be an accident... y'never know. I came across two pigs in the process of being named "AAAA" and "AAAAAA". On purpose.

  • i name animals things like "d" and "asdsfkjbdsf" when i open the rename box and can't get out of it without otherwise clicking onscreen... don't think it's a bug.

  • I call it a bug. It's a lazy user bug.
    YOU ARE THE BUG.

Why would you name your piggies "AAAA" and "AAAAAA" when there are so many delightful words that they could be named instead. There are at least 300 words in the English language that I would find more entertaining, imaginative, and fun than "AAAA" and "AAAAA."  One of them is "AAAArron"  See! That's better. AAAAAAhhh.

I do think these are the exception rather than the rules, and I'd much rather have nameables have names that are intentionally selected rather than the result of sloppy chicken poking.

I'd support "Aaaa" being an Ok string for a name, but not "aaaa" since the capitalization shows intent, where is the "aaaa" is probably just mis-applied uses of the "WASD" movement keys.

  • EE Cummings... you should be able to just hit the Escape key to get out of the renaming box. Or any other box that pops open, for that matter.

  • In one of the bog herb gardens, every pig and chicken was named "done". I christened them with real names.
On my street every animal is named "Nathaniel". I've named them different names a few times but finally gave up, when they all get named the same thing again. I've decided that someone is either love sick or narcissistic.

  • I have been renaming them to "I deserve a proper name."
