Will baby animals die if you drop them on the ground?

I have searched and searched and found nothing on this topic.

If you drop a baby animal on the ground and then you do not feed (basically if it's just a decoration), will it die?

Thanks in advance to any responses to the question.

  • Hahaha!  Using baby animals to decorate, that's brilliant.  XD  Thanks for asking this question, I hadn't wondered but this is good to know!

  • I wondered the same thing a few days ago when I overzealously had my chickens incubate a stack of piggy eggs with an over-full inventory. Luckily, piggies like to eat meat, but not piglets.

  • I love decorating with chicks, and they last forever, it seems.

  • Cool - I set one chickie on a street to decorate a note - may have to try decorating with multiples and see what that looks like...

  • Freaky! Blinking décor. Do their creepy chickie eyes & adorable piggie eyes follow you around the room?
