  • Not bad if you don't mind the wait; yes you're just learning the skills slower.

  • Much slower depending on how much overtaxed your brain is...your tasty, tasty, swelling brain.

  • It seems pretty unavoidable to have an overloaded brain. It just happens naturally if you're interested in learning skills. Plus you don't get brain cards fast enough.

  • It seems pretty unavoidable to have an overloaded brain.

It is perfectly avoidable.  Don't try to learn everything.  Pick and choose what you want to do.

  • I had already learned everything by the time the new brain features debuted. My brain is seriously over-taxed! Look at the sweat dripping off it! Mmm, brain sweat...

  • Is there a limit to how many brain points you can have? I'm at 24 capacity, and haven't seen any brain cards in days T.T

  • The limit is 60 - not sure why you aren't getting any cards, but perhaps there are just so many others available for you.

  • I have been at 600-800% over capacity since I started to play again, but the only skills I could bear to unlearn were cooking skills. I use all the rest of them, so they are essential.  So demand will continue to outstrip evolutionary supply, I guess.  It certainly has provided me with plenty of prep time, collecting resources to apply once my learning comes to "skillition".

I don't know, I guess since I apparently keep my brain inside a rock with spectacles, I don't have to face any personally disastrous consequences, which would most certainly occur in any other life situation where demand outstrips supply by those percentages.  I mean, I would think my rock would have exploded by now, or fomented a desperate rebellion, or oranized with other rocks and gone on strike.   But he seems to totally dig it, go figure.

  • Nanookie: Stuff like fruit changing and bubble tuning can be unlearned and you can still do them. Spice grinding, too. They will occasinoally fail, but that's it.

  • Brain Capacity: 99/37 Skills
    1959% time penalty

It only hurts when I think.

  • What sucks is that all of old-schoolers from when Glitch first really started were kind of screwed on all this.  Once the brain capacity thing started... we were all over filled to the brim.  :\

  • Brain capacity 56/45 skills, 71% time penalty, and I haven't purchased many brain capacity cards yet.   I don't know how to cook (anymore) and I wouldn't bother with any AK except you need AK3 to feed sloths.  also, no croppery and minimal gardening.   I don't recommend it to everyone, but just to point out that no, you don't need to know everything.

  • WalruZ, there's need - and then again, there's need.

Thanks for the replies all, I'll just keep shuffling 'til I get more brain cards. I'm only at 36/27, with a 55% penalty - so not bad. I'll work on 4+ hour skills for a while and hope I can grab enough cards to catch up to myself.
