  • Oh - I can top that.  I'm going to dye my FRIEND's hair.

Well, at least that means I get to hang out with her for a good long while (Lush henna, bringing friends together for hours on end since... whenever.  Is it time to rinse yet?  No.  Not yet.)

BTW, NutMeg, we're all waiting for you to encircle us over at G+.  G33k and I are getting lonesome.

  • Good idea--I should dye my hair.... that would totally freak out my students when I show up on Monday... I have the red hair dye just sitting there in a drawer... hmmm...

  • @jasbo,  well, OK.  But I warn you neither of my dogs is much of a photographer.  I think it is that opposable thumb obstacle, LOL.
Posted 17 months ago by marycontrary Subscriber! | Permalink
  • They can manage hair dye but not cameras?  I think your dogs are just malingering.

  • The babies at work get really upset when I dye my hair. They know something's different but can't tell what, so they sit and stare at me with vaguely uncomfortable looks. Occasionally they sniff at me. Babies are weird.

  • @ jasbo I have been suspecting the same thing.  How come they can't operate a camera or the electric can opener, but they are fine with taking out the car, not to mention  making the garage door open and close endlessly with the remote?  I don't get the thrill in that, myself....

  • Dogs are definitely puzzling creatures.
Posted 17 months ago by jasbo Subscriber! | Permalink
  • toe lickers, dogs.
Posted 17 months ago by Nanookie Subscriber! | Permalink
  • also bum sniffers.
Posted 17 months ago by jasbo Subscriber! | Permalink
  • but dogs are wonderful, at bum sniffing and toe licking and loving you no matter who you just murdered.
Posted 17 months ago by xoxJulie Subscriber! | Permalink
  • xoxJulie - you need a shovel?
Posted 17 months ago by jasbo Subscriber! | Permalink
  • xoxJulie, or maybe a murder victim?  I could give you several suggestions if you like. Or, alternatively, I could give you a couple of bum sniffing, toe licking dogs (not so good at photography though) for a week or so...say maybe starting July 12th?  Feel free to teach them how to open their own food, but do lock away your car keys.  They like to steal the car after I have gone to sleep and joyride around the neighborhood.  Probably looking for cats, or people who need a new dye job.  Plus, they always leave the tank on empty--bad dogs, bad, bad dogs!

  • good thing i have a chihuahua, she can't reach the pedals.
Posted 17 months ago by coolbettycakes Subscriber! | Permalink
  • My sheltie can't reach the pedals either.  And he hates cars.  But I'm pretty sure he'd drive if I told him the address of the nearest butcher.
Posted 17 months ago by jasbo Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Ahh that was my mistake I guess.  I shouldn't have gotten big dogs, as my Shiloh and German shepherd have no trouble reaching the pedals.  Well, I sent them out to get hair dye and if they ever get back with the car, today is the day they dye my hair.  jasbo, I'll get pics if I can.......

  • best poo out there.. cause it's LUSH lol
Posted 17 months ago by Gypsy_woman Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Sorry guys, but no hair dye for me today.  I have an APB out on my pups.  They left with my credit card and Subaru hours ago and never came back.   I think they might be headed to Vegas.  I also think they might have left the lush caca on Gypsy's lawn.  Sorry about that Gypsy.

  • Y'all all crack me up- so stinking much. I love it!
Posted 17 months ago by NutMeg Botwin Subscriber! | Permalink
  • For those who don't know about the Lush-iousness: Lush Caca Marron Hair color.

It's a pain in the ass and it's messy, but it doesn't stink and it turns my graying strawberry-blonde to this.

  • @nutmeg   thank you for giving us a forum to be nutzy while we are waiting for the game to open..Glad you are amused! :-)

@jasbo.  Well, all I can say is the LUSH caca marron sure looks A LOT like the lush caca in my yard from my errant pups.......only it is square.  I'm just sayin'........Also, you wield a mighty mean camera there lady, so howzabout teaching my dogs some photography?  They will be glad to dye your hair as a trade, or drive your Sheltie to the butcher shop.  Is it a deal?

(seriously, it is a nice color!)

  • MaryC, remind me to hug and splank you next time the game is open.

But yeah -seriously, the stuff does look like poo when you put it on your head.  Luckily it only smells like coffee and chestnuts.
