Subscriber wardrobe items

Hey there! So today, some of the free subscriptions have started running out after grace periods had ended. We sent messages in advance of this in email about what happens, and also have it outlined here about subscriptions but realize that some of you noticed in game.

So! What this means is that some subscriber only wardrobe items will be removed from inventory, and that included on your avatar if you were wearing them.If you had subscriber only items paid with credits, those you still keep.

  • Well, boo. I get it, but boo. Timing of these changes are not facilitating love. Like I said, I get it. But I get the Netflix reasoning, too.

[edit: I still love YOU kevbob!]

  • Still would like a way to buy some of the 'free' subscriber items using credits if I thought I might have to let my subscription lapse.

  • Yes to what Windborn said...let the free to subscriber things be "for credit" to non-subscribers...

  • The main problem I see with the revoking of clothing items is that the "free" subscriber only items are the most expensive items as I see it.  If I understand correctly, a 15 credit subscriber only item would stay with you after your subscription ends.  However, the "free" items will disappear as soon as your grace period ends, and there is no way to purchase them...  If there was a 15 credit version of the free subscriber clothing, I would have gladly purchased them, but there isn't anything compelling enough about a subscription to get me to pay, currently.  So for people in my boat, this is a net loss for you guys...

  • Maybe, but if we're selling anything at all, at any price, there will always be people who want it but don't want it enough to pay for it. That's ok. (And there are far more options available for free, for credits or for credits+subs than there are free-for-subs — like 8x or 10x more — so, everyone has options.

  • I'm not suggesting that every free subscriber item be sold to you.  I was thinking more along the lines of "you can select 1 free item per month that you can pay for to ensure that it stays in your wardrobe if you lose your subscription".
