Okay, I have registered a complaint against another user for being creepy and skeevy and making sexual suggestions, also following me around. So, no more seeing that user's comments in chats, user can't IM me or come to my Home Street. Then I encountered this user again on a friend's Home Street and was creeped on again by the same user. Followed me around from Tower floor to Tower floor, standing right behind me... in general being a sleezebag skeevy creepy stalker. I asked in Local Chat for it to be stopped, and it continued. So I retreated to my Home Street where I knew I was safe.
I have had issues in the past with IRL stalkerish folks finding me online, and it occurred to me that I can't be the only one, so I had this idea:
What about a warning when someone you've blocked is on a street or in a location you're about to enter? Just a pop-up to let you know that someone you've blocked is there -- no need to even tell the name to you, just a warning that, "Someone on your blocked list is in the location you're about to enter. Are you sure you want to enter?" with a Yes/No clicky. It would make ME at the very least feel a lot better.
Especially since I already reported/blocked this user -- I don't have a username in the chatlog to click on and report about this second occurrence since I don't get that user's communications in the chats. Something like this is just... a bit of safeguard and peace-of-mind. Also, probably a lot more fair than setting it up so that said blocked person couldn't come into any location you were in that was public. Which was another reaction / idea, but like I just said, not something that's really fair.
