Is there anything you've given up on now that you're a decent level?

I'm just curious...

For instance I just buy butterfly milk at auctions now. I find butterfly milking so tedious and slow. Screw the badge, I just want to make booze!

  • I have a milk collector and a meat collector, so I don't nibble or milk as much as I used to.
I don't sell everything that I get my hands on now.  LOL  I give away more items now than I used to.
I don't have to mine every minute of every day.  I just mine to get elements to make powders now.
I travel more now than I used to.  I used to be afraid to leave Groddle...now I go everywhere.

I do still make crab runs, however.  Can't get enough of that Crabato Juice!

  • I can't think of anything. I like doing a little bit of everything, and prefer to get my own resources and make my own products.

Recently I've bought some ore at auction because I simply haven't had time to go mining, but wanted to make a few EHSP to get some donations in while I did have a few minutes to be IG. But I still like mining and look forward to having some time to go do that again.

I don't have a problem with butterfly milk at all, since I have a milker at home and 5 butterflies. I'm overflowing with milk, because I'll pop in once or twice a day to gather it. I rarely milk a butterfly by hand. I'm also overflowing with veggies and general cooking goods, though I might be getting low on cherries. But I can make a quick run of my blocks to get a ton of those.

Hmm... perhaps I should put it on the market to earn money while I can't play much... those earthshakers aren't doing me any good right now...

ETA: Poppy has a good point. I don't sell as much stuff like ore as I used to, as I can use it for other things like crafting and donating and am not hurting on currants at all. If I do sell stuff, it's like meat tetrazzinis and earthshakers, but I only do that occasionally and tend to use them as donations while I'm not using them to sustain my Glitch.

  • I'll squeeze the occasional chicken just for old times sake, but you can buy a bale of grain for 250c and that's a lot of chickens.

  • after i scraped together a healthy nest-egg of currants, all my extra goods go to shrines now instead of vendors.

  • I don't bother with making crystals; it's so labor intensive for what seems like little reward.  I'll go back to it eventually to get the achievement badges.

Now that I've completed all the AK levels, I don't have to pet or massage to get meat & milk, so I still collect them, but now I donate them to shrines instead of mining all day & donating gems & chunks of ore.

  • I buy all my beans and grain at auction. A good chunk of my cherries as well. Once you get up there in cooking and cocktails there's no way you could manually collect the amount you need!

  • I buy seeds because feeding pigs and inspecting plops is ridiculously tedious and I just can't be bothered.

  • I buy seeds now too. Making them is very tedious.  I even skip the gardening and buy produce sometimes, because it's easy to get currents back.
