Option to hide Graveside Markers

While it's tragic that someone died due to their No-No Powder addiction, I'm not really keen on having the Gravemarkers in front of say, a dying sapling I'm trying to water, or something like that. Yes, we can press the W / Up / Enter key to bring up a menu so we can choose an object that's being overlapped, but I want to be able to click on that stone and have an option to hide it.

Something tells me even this won't stop a group of people committing mass suicide just to fill up an area with Gravemarkers, so why not also an option to hide all Gravemarkers altogether?

  • they take up space, get in the way, I don't know how long until they go away..
I never stop to read them,

I really just don't like them.

Ghosts would be better... if anything.

  • I like them. They don't stay long at all.

  • Why assume they died do to no-no powder? I've died more often from making cheese than taking no-no (cheese deaths = about 15, no-no deaths = 1). The grave markers go away at midnight. You could always just move on to the next tree if the marker bothers you...

  • Also, I have a friend who actually makes an art form of arranging her gravestones in interesting and creative ways (she's made pyramids with well-timed jumps, for example). To each his or her own...

  • Glad I am not the only one to die of cheese! (Maybe we sould have a group!)

I would not like to see the markers go altogether, since I sometimes place mine carefully, but I wouldn't mind if they were a bit smaller as they do get in the way of things sometimes.

  • Soooo I see a theme: It's all the BUTTERFLIES' fault! With their singing and their very very stinky cheese making:) LOL Oh hey, Cassandria, here: death :D

  • When I started they always made me pause and wonder if there was something dangerous near by that struck down the glitch that passed this way before--especially when there were mass graves.  Now I know it was just someone being silly or careless.

  • On the contrary, I love the gravestones. They're like little footprints telling you that somebody else was there, and unfortunate enough to get sent to do some grape squishing.

They only last for a few minutes. Some people have used them creatively. I don't think it's really much of an inconvenience to have to select the item I'm trying to interact with (certainly no worse than having another player standing in front of the item, which in a way is exactly what they are)

  • They stay for 4 hours? That needs to be reduced to 5 minutes. Honestly, I don't care where somewhere went AFK.

  • I dig them. Umm...not literally. I'm still hoping for a "morbid curiosity" achievement so there would be some actual benefit to having them around. :)

  • And that is why I always try to die of No-No withdrawal in the privacy of my own house.
