Brib Annie, the OP does not have levitation, although he could "know" another way but never have done it.... grrrrrrrrrr. (also: bumping, so the OP is reminded to get back in here. also grrrrrrr.)
Am I the only one who thinks that, when a neat bug is found, its a horrible idea to announce it to the world? The faster you mention it on forums and post pics of it, the faster it goes away...just sayin.
The problem with that line of thinking, Soupie, is that what can appear to be a harmless and neat bug could actually be something that is ultimately symptomatic of a larger, behind-the-scenes kind of problem. I don't want to get into a semantic debate over harm/problems etc, but do want to just note that it is not necessarily appropriate to our role as beta testers to clam up and get all 'cool kids club' when finding clever tricks and loopholes in the game.
katlazam-then perhaps, instead of posting pics of attic parties in the general forum, these are things that should go in the bugs forum? I don't disagree with that at all. Find bugs and loopholes, share them with the world--that's great. But don't complain when the bugs are fixed faster because of it (not suggesting that you were--I'm referring to some comments I've seen from others in the past).
I have no desire to get into my attic nor any desire to be part of a "cool kids club". I'm also pretty solid on my understanding of my role as a beta tester.
Soupie, my apologies for any suggestion that you were part of that cool kids club - I was typing on my phone and didn't word that very carefully... I totally agree with your second post, and am not really comfortable with the original post either, but your question touched a nerve because I have *definitely* seen some 'cool kids club'-esque behavior around this kinda stuff...
Do you know what this reminds me of.....when in beta everyone was waiting for the reset and the staff extended it till the next day. I refreshed for hours until they announced that it as going to be the next day.
Ok so its worked for a long time. what you do is you make a shelf next to the entrance to the attic, then make a taller one and jump. Repeat this and it should work. GL and also, thx for getting this popular!
