Uncook your food.

so it turns into raw ingredients.

you know, like unexpanding your house, or ungrowing your animals.

  • Do keep in mind that I fail at science, but I thought cooking was a one-way process?

  • Sounds interesting but I'd like to hear more about what purpose(s) it would serve.

  • I see, like deconstructing a, for example, black forest cake.  You might need those cherries to make some other fruit so you take them out of or off of the cake and put them to some other use.
    Interesting!

  • I have unlearned the whole cooking skill tree. Don't even know EZ any longer. Does this specially qualify me to learn this new skill?

  • This reminds me of my excitement when I first got the alchemy skills and I thought I'd be able to break down anything into its component molecules.

I'd like to be able to blast a waffle and get, if not green, blue, and silver...atoms of Sweet, Square, and Stackable.  Or something.

  • Well, I guess if you'd cooked more than you need you could just uncook it to get the raw ingredients back so they could be reused? Only a portion of the ingredients, of course.

It's as scientific as ungrowing your animals.

  • I'm still confused as to why this helps. Would it cost iMG to do?

It would seem easier to just round file the excess, harvest some more [getting iMG], and crafting away

  • And by round file, you mean of course donating, which also gets you other valuable things, like IMG and favor and such.

I can see it being useful if, for example, you only have 25 beans, not 30, and have a hankering for  chili while off in the depths of, say, somewhere that totally lacks beans.  I don't think it's necessarily a vital skill, but I suppose I can see where it would appeal to some.
