Discussion: Map backgrounds links

I'll be using those for my own purposes, but I thought others could benefit as well, so here you go:

@TS I hope I'm not against the TOS by posting this content
I think we need more graphic resources accessible from the API,
so people won't have to sneak in http requests kinda stuff :]
Nice find Lemo.  I'm guessing those links aren't stable, and the numbers at the end are version numbers to bypass the browser cache when they update the image.
I think they're stable enough to help for some time
They're probably not gonna updates those for a while as they're all "finished" regions
Check out this post, the link hasn't changed in 83 days
Thanks for the map links!

The best way right now is to retrieve the maps from the new encyclopedia, that has the one page/all maps images… but until new streets shows up, we will not know how fast those images are updated in that page...

if you go to:
www.glitch.com/locations/ you can get all small images

but if you go through each hub ID
www.glitch.com/locations/hu...
you can get the bigger image.

but again, the problem is, how fast will TS update these images? :(
@UXRoot I updated all the maps in Glitch Atlas to use the "full" size of 760x460 and replaced all my original images (screen captured from the game) with versions of the terrain-only images Lemo found and the street-overlaid images you found in the encyclopedia.

I wasn't satisfied with the latter, however, because they have a rounded rectangular border for the encyclopedia, so I overlaid each of the street versions on the terrain version and used the latter to recover the outer edge of the former.  (This also required some alignment because not all the images were produced in a consistent way, for whatever reason.)

I've put a ZIP file with all the images (both terrain-only and street-overlaid) up for anyone who wants them at glitch-atlas.info/files/map...
Nice work Lemo.

I've updated all the images on Glitch Atlas.  Note that the Shimla Mirch street map changed also (just with the addition of the signpost to Cauda).

I've updated my ZIP file of all the images for those who want to get them in a single shot:
glitch-atlas.info/files/maps.zip

Note that this is more than simply a collection of the images as I've erased the shrine and vendor icons on the street overlays because Glitch Atlas does that in a more dynamic way.
Thanks Lemo, I've updated the Glitch Atlas images (http://glitch-atlas.info/regions/balzare.php). Sadly, there isn't much on these new regions to show.
Nice
Btw you may udpate Chrakra Phool and Rasana Maps on the Atlas
They now feature arrows to Balzare and Roobrik
