What is there to do?

Besides petting animals and trees, making drinks and food, completing the once in a blue moon given quest what else is there to do and how? I see people talking about all sorts of crazy, cool sounding stuff but I have never found anything to do but walk the streets. I checked wiki... is there someplace else to go that gives ideas of things to do?
Thanks in advance!!!

  • just like real life, you have to make your own fun! check these forums out they're full of people coming up with ideas on how to make things interesting, running competitions, doing experiments, crunching data, etc etc.

Glitch is what you make it.

  • Check out the Sandbox Group.  We are always up to something.

Over the weekend we spread Random Happiness in the mines and beyond - in polka dot hats (pictures available in the group forum)

Another sect showered racing cubimals on unsuspecting Glitchen.

Today we followed a path from gnome to gnome, collecting clues along the way until we found out way to our secret hideout.

In planning stages is a cherry explosion and we always have Secret Missions available.  Check it out.

  • So in other words, what everyone is saying is... petting animals and trees, making drinks and food, completing the once in a blue moon given quest.

Buying a house? Seriously? That's your idea of fun?

Sorry, folks. The God's honest truth is after level 15 the only thing this game has to offer is grinding. Even the quests drop off to the point unless you are a sado-masochist who really gets off on repetitive tasks, Glitch has nothing for you.

So if you are that person, then the "secret" missions mentioned above are for you.

  • Thanks for once again proving that anything anyone touts as 'The God's honest truth' probably isn't.

  • Play. Unstuctured play - something we don't often get with missions and checkpoints and strategy guides. Learn skills to unlock quests; learn skills to shape your character as you want - a master chef, an alchemist, an engineer, a Rook-fighting martial imaginist.

Try to interact with things - trees, animals, other players, those fountain-like things, the floating totems (shopkeepers).

(And, bear in mind that the person who complained about Level 15+ being nothing more than grinding is Level 26. So there must be *something* enjoyable here.)
