Need some technical help

I have a rather slow laptop, The laptop runs great really but the CPU is only a 1ghz AMD C-50 dual core which for most things gets the job done but for some reason when I play Glitch there is a crazy frame rate drop and it makes the game unplayable. I used to play Glitch pretty much fine on a even SLOWER laptop believe it or not but when I got this laptop it's just impossible, I was wondering if anyone has any idea's that could help Me make Glitch run a bit better. My laptop specs are

Windows 7 64 bit,  3gb of ram, (CPU stated above) And the graphics card is a AMD Radeon HD 6250

If anyone has any ideas they could mention it would be great as I would love to be able to play Glitch again

P.S getting a new computer is not a financial option right now :/

  • I found this link: www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-R... which is vaguely informative.

Do you know if you have the most up to date drivers? Are there settings you can tweak?

  • Sounds more like your internet connection, whether its the laptops wireless card or congestion from the ISP, i couldnt tell ya, has anything changed in terms of your internet provider?
I know glitch runs very smoothly for me, but the moment I have a torrent downloading or I'm streaming a hockey game I lag so bad its not worth playing.

  • Try Chrome.  It has Adobe Flash built in which may eliminate a bad install of flash from IE/Firefox whatever else you use.

  • After updating My drivers the game is totally running a hell of a lot better (Still lags a bit but it's not as bad as before)...This may be the return of master No-No Powder chemist Yui Hirasawa Muahahahahahaha!. No but seriously guy's thank's I'm gonna go play for a bit and see how this all works. If I haven't been playing this game in month's cause of some out of date drivers I'm gonna flip

  • my desktop has a bit better CPU than yours but less ram, and runs fine, as long as I make sure there's nothing greedy running in the background, might be worth checking if anythings sucking memory?

  • Like I said after updating the driver the game is running much better, Still a noticeable amount of lag but it's totally playable
