Please Help! What screen resolution do you use for Glitch? Thank you! Solved!

I have a new 23 inch monitor and cannot fill the entire screen. Best so far leaves me with 3inches in black on both sides.
Anyone know what tiny speck recommends? I sure would appreciate any and all advice! Thanks.
Allllll better now, thanks everyone especially Tom C, it was solved on the first try. 1366 x 768.

  • I only have a 17" monitor, but I run it at 1440 x 900 which to me is perfect. Everything is as big (as in viewable area not the actual content) as it can get without a lot of extra space on the sides.

  • 1024x768 on a 52 inch monitor/TV, its just perfect for me, though the text bubbles are still hard to read.

  • For modern LCD monitors which have actual pixels (instead of phosphor dot clusters like old CRTs) it's best to run the monitor at its true resolution.  Anything else gets a little fuzzy.  The real problem is that glitch limits itself.

Of course, the reason they limit themselves is that many computers can't render the game at higher resolutions without sacrificing frame rate.  The laptop I use to play the game can barely handle the fox brushing minigame.

I think it's a mistake to use Flash for any user activity that requires quick reaction times.

  • Set your monitor at default resolution, whatever it may be.

I play on 1600x900 btw, no black bars on the sides.

  • After reading this page I experimented, 1280X800 on a 20 inch wide looks great apart from the pixels not matching one for one (i.e at 1680X1050) but more than made up for by the good fit.
