Dear Glitch Devs and Staff,

I just wanted to drop a quick message on here saying how much I appreciate what you guys have worked so hard to create for us, and how hard you work on it! I have played a lot of games, but have never played one where the creators and staff were so involved in the game, and with the players. I am used to problems in games being addressed with "fill out 3 forms, and we'll get back to you in a month"- where as in Glitch, I can see the staff playing in game, and showing up to help people out, even just having conversations or enjoying a fun apocalypse party. I feel like the staff really cares about us as players, and that means the world! I even had one sweet staff member message me about my tooth problem, and suggest something that would help! That goes above and beyond. It sealed the deal for me- so yesterday, I just purchased a subscription to the game, and I am so excited about being part of this world. (And I hope to upgrade my subscription one more time before it goes live!)

Anyway, that is all.....thank you for being here when I needed a distraction, and allowing me to make lots of great new friends.....(However, I'm still stuck in bed, and my 4 year old is still out of town for the first time...so, the sooner you guys open back up, the better ;) <3 )

I hope all the staff have a great Fourth of July Holiday, and see you guys soon! <3

  • +1 here. I'm wanting a subscription (eventually - discretionary cash is lacking lately :( )

  • Well said Nutmeg!  To me, a big part of any kind of business is customer service and Tiny Speck has gone above and beyond my highest expectations in that regard!

I was playing a few games on Facebook and I get it that anything online will have some problems.  But the company's complete and utter disregard for trying to help people, other then a form letter saying sorry we don't have any timeline for fixing, and them never getting the problems fixed, finally did me in and am not playing any online games other than Glitch.  :)

  • The DEVS and staff ARE incredible!  Thank you all so much for everything you have done and continue to do. Glitch is only the second MMOG I've ever played.  I am so very glad to have found it after my first crashed and burned.

  • I'm still blown away by this: 1) Even early on, when you IMed a dev to help someone who was stuck in the rook quest or stuck in a hole (both things I IMed them about fairly early on), they would come and help. Didn't really know me from Adam. Didn't say, hey, I'm busy or just ignore it; they said oh sure we can help! And I mean...they're busy people during the tests. But they have created an atmosphere where it's okay to IM them for immediate help if someone is stuck. 2) They do and will chat with you for a bit here and there. They actually enjoy the players. I never thought when I started playing that I might make a couple friends who are devs because I assumed they'd be kinda remote, kinda too important to really mingle with the lowly players (especially since you know...I mean...flickr and all...some semi-famous peeps at the helm here). But they do, when they can, when time permits. And they have fun with us. Really fosters a nice community, I think. 3) And even though it's still being tweaked and was rested for a few tests, the fact that Glitch even HAS a formalized human being-run greeter program JUST to welcome new players, to make them feel warm and fuzzy...whoa. And the tutorial is fairly good; we don't NEED a greeter program per se. It's here specifically because the devs are very passionate about having a warm and welcoming place to play online. Wow. Just...wow. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, I love Glitch:) Thanks to all of the devs for this super thing!

  • +1 on that. The devs and the support staff (I think in a lot of cases the titles are interchangeable) are friendly, helpful and ever-present.

To a certain extent I expect this - as testers we are, after all, lab rats in their experiment. They watch how fast the projects get built, how we solve the quests, the things we like, things we dislike, things we talk about. But that's great - it adds to the feeling that we're actually helping to shape this beautiful game. And I agree with NutMeg - they do go above & beyond. You know if you've got a problem you'll quickly get an answer - whether it's from someone dedicated to community support or the President himself.

  • Three generations playing the same game (lycan's family). That is saying something.

The members of the TS team are truely putting their heart and soul into this game and it shows. Thanks to you all. :)

  • I totally love the community spirit ingame. The minute I got in, after a super long lecture from my lovable little magic rock, I was totally lost. After one game session stumbling around, I joined a group with all the familiar FSR names........ I was in alright, rook, porcine and tinker.
