Server side blocking of actions that cause lag

(Didn't know how else to title this)

Right now we're all assembling in Unnu Slight for whatever God has planned for the New Year. And people are bored, and are pulling crackers, moonwalking, playing music (okay, I love GNG and always want to hear it), pouring potions, challenging games, rolling dice, racing cubimals. Summoning the Rube is popular. We are getting Rube music every other minute.

We know these things cause lag and it's causing so many of us to crash frequently. I was part of the latest Street Projects a month ago and the lag was horrific because of these things. A couple of times, Staff had to come in and ask people not to do the above mentioned things (didn't really stop them).

Anyway. I thought maybe there could be some code written than whenever there are more than a certain number of Glitchen on a street, those laggy actions might be greyed out or just frozen from the server side - or if the lag in a certain street hits a certain warning level it can freeze certain actions. I don't know much about coding in that way so I don't know how easily it could be written or implemented. And I know it might affect block parties or train parties as well but you developers are the clever people and I'm sure you can work something out.
