Just a few quick notes:
A) At this point it's pretty clear, that given loam yields, we need one or two more additional uses, other than resource repair. Or, perhaps, we need more resource repairs that DO use loam.
B) Jellis: Jellis are the petroleum of Ur. You need them for machine operation, some crafting, and some resource repairs. It takes a ton of Jelli to make a fuel cell. Wood machines eat fuel cells like it's no one's business. I think we might need additional jelli superharvest bonus cards, or scale back on the wood machines overall power consumption, perhaps a card that confers woodmachine efficiency.
C) As we gently slouch in the direction away from merchants, two important resources ripe for player harvesting are beer and honey. Suggesting the still as a means of beer production has been posed elsewhere. Suggesting honey be harvestable from another animal has also been posed elsewhere. I think the time, for where we are in the game's development, is ripe for these two things to be next.
D) Olive oil is probably the next in line to make player created, possibly involving a new tree type; a new 'fruit changer' setting; or another Unique Beast. That, in turn, could spawn oily dressing (blender? shaker?) as a player created item.
None of these ideas are unique to me; we've discussed them here before, at many times, in different threads. It just felt like perhaps the time was right to start looking at these things again.
