So, here's the deal. I am making a sort of tarot-esque deck of "cards" for Glitchy divination. What I have discovered is that I am crap at ASCII art for said cards. SOOOOO, I'm going to sponsor a little contest. Here are the rules:
Contest: Give me your best ASCII art image of one of the Giants or the Rook! To be clear, this is the ACTUAL Giant, not their symbol on the shrines.
Requirements: This contest requires you to know Penpersonship, own a quill and paper, and be relatively competent at ASCII art.
Rules: There are rules.
#1 All submissions must be made in the form of a Note sent to me (Grem Sketch) via the mail system or delivered to me personally while I am in-world. That way, there's copious records of who made the submission and when, and I can be assured that the formatting and such is good.
#2 You can submit as many pieces as you want for as many Giants as you want.
#3 All submissions must be received before the end of the day on the 1st of Recurse. So, that's around a week from now non-game time.
#4 There is no rule number 4.
#5 All notes submitted become the property of Grem Sketch. If you ask nicely, I might send your art back if you don't win, but I'm under no obligation to do so. Furthermore, all winners give me, Grem Sketch, the right to make copies of your winning pieces for my divination decks without further compensation beyond the prizes for this competition.
Addendum to #5 You own your art. All I'm asking for is the right to make copies of your picture. As for the "property" thing, I am covering my butt so that I don't get a ton of people asking me to individually mail their notes back. Sorry for the confusion.
Prizes!!1!: For each Giant and the Rook, there will be a prize for the ASCII piece that I think is the best. Each winner will receive 1000 currants, plus one Emblem of the Giant of which their art represents. For the Rook winner, it'll be 1000 currants and a 12-sided die or a jar of Sneezing Powder (your choice). So, that's 12 different chances to win!!! Also, your art will be featured on my divination decks! Sweet!
