Horns are in with hats, so I can understand why, but does every hat make my long hair go away? Does it have to? I'd really like a set of horns that worked with my hair.
They're working on it. They have to work each hat and hair combo to make sure it works and some hair is more problematic than others.
And, yes, horns and related types of "hats" don't work with any hair... yet.
[sits down in rocking chair and bigs up pipe] Back in MY day, none of the hats worked with hair. He had to chose between them. And we had no subways. We had to walk everywhere. Up hill. Both ways.
Now if you'd started with a pork sword instead of that silly omens thing you'd not need to wrap in in bacon...
*coughs*
I digress.
So keep checking at the start of each test? I figure the long flowing hair that looks so GOOD when I jump is going to be the longest problem of the bunch.

You are correct on both accounts. But sugarQb is pretty good at posting when they add/make changes to the the wardrobe and Vanity.
Lord Bacon-o is correct: we'll have to try to tweak the horns so that they line up with the existing hair styles. We've just been so been busy making unicorns and dinosaurs and other magical creatures! :)
Thanks for bringing this up though! We'll give it another shot in the near future and I'll be sure to announce once the situation in the horn department has improved.
We do have that white hood with rams horns. Apart from that, horns mean "Bald". I doubt we will ever get long hair. To make long hair might be complicated as it would hang down over the clothes and would also need some animation as other hair has. it may be possible but would probably take a lot of work and many other things are just more worth the effort. Maybe a longer pony tail? Probably not. We never know though, the Devs are pretty creative.
I'd much rather have all of the existing horns and hats and hair work together first, and have new clothes later. I'm biased, though, because I spent my free credits on Viking helmets and the like, but can't use them without going bald.
I personally am very keen to having long hair on my avatars, in any game. And no, it would not be difficult. Re: animation, you just need the hair to overlay the clothing layers, not interact with them. I personally think long hair isworth the effort. I'd gladly pay money to have it, as I have done in many other games. I'm not saying it should be top priority on the to-do list of every single staff member. However, it is on the top of my list of things I would like to see implemented.
I'd still like to not have a bald spot under my octopus hat... you can see it when I jump. Might there be a "simple" fix, maybe it's possible to add an top-of-head change to the selected hair color for under-hat wear? The "bald spot" is only visible for a moment mid-jump (except in Plexus, OMG, just look at my JennyAir debut! How embarrassing...), so I don't think it needs elaborate details or anything.
I know it's only one hat, and I think this is the only one that flies around like that, so it's likely not a top priority when you're doing much more awesome stuff like making uniforms and unicorns and unitards and other things that start with uni, but it does make it look like Stanley's been eating my hair. =)
