new vendor quest? NEW VENDOR QUEST.

O-omg.

Except I couldn't get it to the exit and now the only quest I'm seeing is A Summer's  Day again? I had to teleport out of Le Miserable.

  • PROBLEM! You can't exit all that well.

  • I am theoretically at the exit, but there's still no exit. Hmm. Tricky.
Posted 4 months ago by Sheepy Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Same here. Nothing clickable to exit. Damn. The colour coordinating bit was fun, but I'd rather like the quest to end properly, not by tp'ing out...and the bot never said anything either.

  • I'm sure we're missing something, but I'm stymied.
Posted 4 months ago by Sheepy Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I zoomed out and clicked, then a "are you stuck" message with the option to leave came up at the end.

  • Aw. MacKenzie says:  "Unfortunately the Le Miserable quest was released prematurely and we are working to correct the issue. In the mean time please transport yourself home or wait for the prompt from the game asking if you are stuck."

  • Thanks, MR! Now I can give up without feeling bad. :P
Posted 4 months ago by Sheepy Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Also, vendors continue to tell you to come talk - and then say they have nothing for you.
Posted 4 months ago by Mablem Tiipot Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Give yourself a quick refresh if you'd rather not be hassled by forgetful vendors. They'll remember what it's like to be Le Misérable soon enough.

And if you're still stuck, type /home in Local Chat or use your Go Home button from the iMG menu!

  • I can't get the quest started - i choose "talk to" and get the "are you ready to reminisce a Summer's Day?" dialogue instead. tried refreshing but no dice.

  • where is the key
Posted 4 months ago by Jellybelly Baby Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Me too, Tathak -  the vendors are still calling me over, and have never yet offered anything except to reminisce a Summer's Day when I select "talk to"

  • I was re-offered A Summer's Day too. Nice diversion, though.

  • Well hello again! Thanks for pointing out that the vendors are still being a little pushy. We'll have a stern talking with them to ensure they don't try to offer you a quest they don't have. Keep in mind that Le Misérable was sent out prematurely and isn't quite ready yet. You'll be bugged by a vendor as soon as it is!

  • Thank you so much for the new quests. Quests haven't been getting much love lately with all the cosmetic stuff, that doesn't interest me much. Looking for continuing challenges to keep me coming back. Thanks again.

  • Brilliant and best level quest out of the two so far!!!
Posted 4 months ago by TomC Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I didn't enjoy any of the basement ones and will not return to them. And the same goes for Summer's Day. But this one was enormous fun. We need more like this. And it needs more levels so we can return to it for more challenges.

  • Will Le Miserable be repeatable?

Please say yes, it was a good one :)

  • I agree w/ IrenicRhonda, this challenge was a lot of fun!

  • I loved having a quest where I had to figure out an actual puzzle, not just click stuff or jump around.  More please!!!
Posted 4 months ago by KhaKhonsu Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I loved Le Misérable!  It was wonderful fun!  I hope it will be repeatable as the puzzle quests are excellent.  Would love to see more of this type.

  • Just did this quest the other day and it was awesome! Please add more puzzle stuff like this. It was a lot of fun!!!
Posted 4 months ago by Lynnt Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Glad you liked it!

And yes: it will be repeatable. (And, we plan to add some further levels to take you into some other parts of the Fireflex 3000 Lab.)

There are many other quests and puzzles coming.

  • WHOA!!
Can hardly wait for more of these!

    This one was total fun-ness!!

  • Do we have an ETA for it's "re"-release?
Posted 4 months ago by Meebus Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I just did it a bit ago, so it's either already re-released or there's a problem.
Posted 4 months ago by Little Miss Giggles Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I can't seem to access it at all.
Posted 4 months ago by Reirei Umezaki Subscriber! | Permalink
  • You talk to a regular vendor, and you get a choice of Summer's Day or Les Miserable.
Posted 4 months ago by Little Miss Giggles Subscriber! | Permalink
  • No, I haven't been presented with a choice at all. They only offer me a Summer's day.
Posted 4 months ago by Reirei Umezaki Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Yay, more puzzles!
Posted 4 months ago by Avnas Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I think I had to go through A summer's day and then the vendor offered me the new quest, so maybe try that?
Posted 4 months ago by eviljen Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I love this kind of puzzles. Please, TS, make more of this!

  • Whoa... I don't feel particularly miserable, but very stupid indeed.

Whatever I do, I can't figure out the middle color puzzle. I thought a de-embiggifying potion would be the solution, but it couldn't be used there.

I looked for interactive items, and there are none. I talked to the bot, but it didn't help. I tried using pretty much everything to deactivate the sensors, and again it didn't work out. Levitating was a no go... can anybody please tell me whether I am missing something, or there is some bug I stumbled upon?
Posted 3 months ago by Ayzad Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Ayzad, you have to really get into the middle of things to solve that one.
Posted 3 months ago by Sirentist Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I am very much anticixcited. Swell!
Posted 3 months ago by Branfowl Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Yup. I figured out it has to be started from the center out, yet my (poor, admittedly) topology says it can't be solved just by that...

I mean, the outermost columns require less tripping than the inner ones... no?
Posted 3 months ago by Ayzad Subscriber! | Permalink
  • If so, then I wonder if there could be a way to "trip" those more without tripping the inner ones too much... ;)
Posted 3 months ago by Siam Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Hate it. Absolutely hate it.
Posted 3 months ago by Mollie Subscriber! | Permalink
  • It took me several tries to figure out the middle one too but it can definitely be done and it is just a matter of walking — no jumping, no potions, no levitation or anything else.
Posted 3 months ago by stoot barfield Subscriber! | Permalink
  • In fact, levitating or spinach-jumping over it doesn't actually stop it from triggering.

Frustrated me for about ten minutes.

Then my brain realised what I was doing wrong, and it was quite rewarding to complete.
Posted 3 months ago by Oopsy Daisy Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Love it! Challenging for a couple of minutes then no prob :)

    Def more like this please!
Posted 3 months ago by Teena Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Oh.

    Solved.

Now I'd really like to know what the hell was I thinking when I couldn't...

    Sorry for the disruption, folks!

  • I just logged in for a new day and got notice that I had completed 2 quests le Mis 1 and 2 but I only did the quest once. Anyone else get this notice?

    PS loved the quest!

  • LeMis is divided in two quest, the first is go to the LeMis room and speak to the bot,the second quest is trigger the machine (the puzzles).
