Okay, so I recently got an iPod touch, and I would like to know if there is a specific app that people use to play glitch on them? As far as I can see, I can only view stuff, not actually get in the game.....
Thanks!!
The only way that you could play glitch on an iPod Touch is to use a remote desktop app like Splashtop. Technically you would be playing Glitch on your PC, but you would be able to view and control it from your iPod Touch. It would be very inconvenient to play however as you would have to do everything with the mouse. Also lag would be horrendous unless you were on the same network as the PC, but if you were why not just play on the PC?
Can you install rover? It's an iPad app. I'd hate to try and use a screen as small as that. I zoomed out on the iPad and couldn't get the thing to zoom bak out so had to log back out and in again. Rover also does not store details but is ok if you need to so some basic flat traveling slow or home stuff. Tried decorating and it was a chore.
The app is called Rover (free for ipad). Its a web app for school kids. I just change the address bar to glitch and its slow but loads. It forces you to login every single time because it does not cache anything but works. Its very laggy so I suggest no locations with jumping about. I occasionally run the ancestrals on it but get only 1/2 the distance I do on a laptop.
There is a mouse and keyboard option in the top right of the app and all click gestures work on screen.
I struggle with large piles of items on the floor, I cant select many from a pile unless I pick up everything in the pile and drop again. mainly the keyboard return function. Still if I want to glitch and do a couple of reflects in a new game day its great for just doing that and a little street gathering.
