  • Also the Teleport from the Rook Assistant does not work, although at full Energy.

  • I have gone through every other challenge quest and have had no problem, but ever since I entered the Rook egg challenge, my computer lags and I keep getting smashed by rocks without being near any.

  • This quest is impossible. It's like the crushers have a person-sized radius around them of "don't touch." Can't jump over them, can't avoid them unless you're practically on the other side of the screen.

  • i didn't have much problem with this one, the only thing that i noticed was an occasional lag and when i was hit by a crusher, the animation sending me back was REALLY choppy, then i would lag for a second or two after returning to the start.

  • Similar problems. I go there and just die, over and over, without ever getting near an egg. I don't even know what I'm looking for as the first or second block always gets me. Either my rook egg quest runs very badly, all the time, or I am the worst rook egg quester who ever lived. Maybe both. It seems quite impossible to do this quest.

  • The rook egg quest is very very hard if you are experiencing any lag at all.  Try it again when things are running smoothly.

  • Supershero...I have tried this one off and on since I got it months ago.  I've only recently been able to accomplish the quest (even after watching a youtube video of how to do it).  I can't even imagine trying it with any lag...it's hard enough when the game is smooth...

  • I had trouble to start with, but then I spotted the climbable tree that lets you skip over the second block entirely (IIRC, it was a couple of months ago now).

  • looked for tree but got squished, will leave till game settles somewhat as I can't be doing with being in a bad mood again lol

  • I've been thinking, perhaps a walkthrough for this quest -- on the glitch strat wiki -- would be appreciated?  I'm the type who hates spoilers but I'd be happy to write it up for people if anyone needs help.  Even with a guide it won't make the experience flawless (esp with any lag), but it may give you the confidence to know that you're not just banging your head against the wall for no reason, and eventually nail it.

Edit: One thing I think everyone who's worried about this quest should know is that you get a ton of mood back when you finally nail it, and that you can accomplish (or keep attempting endlessly) the quest with 0 mood remaining.  I know I gave up the first time I tried it for fear that my mood would get hopelessly low.

  • Flirty, are you talking about a written-out walkthrough? I know there's a video walkthrough of the quest on the glitch strategy wiki.

  • Hmm, I wonder, are you able to use spinach during this quest? Because I'm guessing that might help quite a bit.

Edit: Ah, nevermind. Just read the wiki and spinach doesn't work *sigh* Guess I'll wait until I eventually get levitation.
