Sounds like a bumper sticker: "Realize Salmen". (I went to school in Berkeley and saw way too many "Visual World Peace" bumper stickers on Volvo station wagons.)
I have not got or seen any achievement badges for releasing the salmon SpiderGirl so I think it is safe to say that right now they do not exist. However, TinySpeck staff members do read the forums and sometimes implement game features based on what players have written so one day we might get pocket salmon catch and release badges. Keep your fingers crossed. ;-)
EDIT to add information about badges: You can look at all the badges that exist in the Encyclopedia (badges are in achievements section) which has a link in the top right corner of the website or if you are in game click the face circle on the top left for a drop down menu.
I have to disagree, WalruZ. In several places in Glitch, it *is* spelled "salmen," particularly on the screens that list the contents of location as that location is loading and when you scroll over them in your inventory. Oddly, the info screen spells it "salmon," but perhaps that's how they are signifying the singular and "salmen" is being used as the plural.
There are "salmon", and then there are "salmen".
Topic from the Bugs forum.
From Encyclopedia - look at the item pic, it says "Auctions for Pocket Salmen"
Quite possibly an excellent example of Special Glitch Plural!
And I think "realizing" salmen is a rather clever and appropriate malapropism. Perhaps the salmen cannot reach their full-fishy potential until they have returned, psychically strengthened, from the ordeal of pocketing. At least, this is what the yoga frogs tell me.
