Feeling clueless: Are there street projects currently?

I gather that there was a flurry of them, completing Aranna, say -- is that all over, or are there new street projects somewhere else?  I've piled up a lot of silly stuff (read: peat) in hopes of contributing to one sometime, but if they're going to be rare for a while, maybe I should just liquidate everything and open up some storage areas in my house...  If there are street projects, is there a way to keep track of where they're happening at any given time?

Thanks for any input, and apologies if this is a very newbie-ish question.  Have been around a while but still find certain things (big projects, rook attacks) hard to parse...

  • You can refresh this page: http://zoggish.appspot.com/locations
Active projects are listed at the bottom of the Special category.  Or join http://www.glitch.com/groups/RCR639BQLSJ1165/ to get updates as they happen.

  • they rushed aranna and ravenna, so it might be quiet for a while. They also (in responses ) said they didn't like how the street pojects were working now and so that may well be an area being rewirked as part of this 'beta'. There's also the street project group as mentioned above to tag and follow if they start up again.

As for all your stuff; either liqudate or store for future street projects but it might also be useful in the housing changes again to come in 2012...
