  • What version do you have? I'm using Version 5.0 (5533.16) and it's working just fine.

  • I can report good experiences in the latest version of 5 as well... what version of the Flash player do you have?

  • Still no good. Just pulled down new copy of flash from site.

  • Were you ever able to get this working? If the page is blank that means it's not even loading the flash client in the first place, so the first thing I'd check is that you don't have any sort of flash blockers installed. Let me know if you got this working or not, and if not I'll see if I can't figure out what might be causing this.

  • Harumph. I can load Adobe's flash page and see a "successfully installed" banner and apparently have version 10,1,53,64 installed. And flash video sites work.

Random thought: Could this be a 32 bit v 64 bit issue? I have had that problem with java and shockwave before.

BTW, it works on FF (3.6.6 - I got 3.6.7 right after the test closed, I will check that on the next test.) And to repeat, flash 10.1.53.64, Mac 10.6.4, Safari 6533.16

  • Scratch that. Flash is now completely broken on Safari for me.

^ Ignore this. Back to original state. But must retry. I will try to catch the next test with this computer.

  • I'm using Safari just fine. :\

  • I don't know. I think its a 64-32 issue. What OS are you running?

  • Everything works for me in Safari except the Design Your Avatar dialog. I can select each section, but it's totally blank. (10.6.4/WebKit Nightly/Flash 10,1,81,24)

  • Still not working. I am POSITIVE everything is up to date here.

  • I am also getting blanks in the Design Your Avatar popup. (Mac OS 10.6.4, Safari 5.0.1, Flash 10,1,53,64)

  • Any of you using Click to Flash? Can you try uninstalling to see if that is the cause?

  • I get the same behavior with ClicktoFlash uninstalled. I am running a the 'Gala' preview of Flash (10,1,81,24) and the Avatar popup asks me to install 10.1. Choosing to install 10.1 fails, because I have a newer version. I'll try to manually install 10.1 and report back.

  • I'm getting the same issue with Safari version 5.0 (6533.16) and Flash version 10,1,53,64 (which I think is the latest version since I just downloaded it from Adobe). I'm going to try downloading the latest version of Safari (5.0.1) to see if that corrects the issue.

  • I was seeing the same issue, uninstalling ClickToFlash resolved it.

  • Just upgraded to Safari 5.0.1 and it still doesn't work. I don't have ClickToFlash installed, so that isn't it.

  • The first time I opened the new game (Safari), the rock never loaded. Signed out, signed in, and then the rock appeared.

  • Works fine for me in safari 5.0.1.

  • It failed for me last night with Safari 5.0. I got a message saying that I didn't have Flash installed and should get the latest version. I updated Flash, but still got the same message. Reloading the page sometimes gave the message, sometimes just presented a blank page.

I do have ClickToFlash installed (with alpha.glitch.com in my whitelist), but didn't think to try uninstalling. Instead I switched to Chrome and used that as I knew I only had limited time available to play last night.
