Skills

okay... i might be shooting myself in the foot with this one... I have noticed that when learning a skill you can stop , and start learning another skill. The skill that was stop keeps its remaining time on it. Now for the foot shooting. Once you get to say 30+skills your skills time will increase due to the size of your brain. so to give a boost to skills. take all the skills you can learn and stop them say at 10secs before you learn them. Learn that one skill that will take you over your threshold then go back and finish learning the rest for a big skill boost. right? Okay im not sure if this will work yet but hell ima see and if it wasn't intended then it will go away :P.

  • I think, in theory, it still does work. Yes, you are rewarded for being super attentive and patient for having skills to play with. The disadvantage, of course, is that people who have those completed skill get to use them (and, in turn can use resources to drop their times).

    It balances pretty well.

  • I think it adds time to the top of the skill. I remember when I was trying to learn Mining IV in Beta, that while I was playing, I'd work on other skills. Then when I'd go back to set-up Mining IV for the night, it would be a longer time to learn than before. Maybe I was just imagining things, but I remember thinking that I should just let Mining IV go at all times.

  • the system changed this test, check the description for 'better learning', its changed, every skill you BEGIN learning above that limit raises the time to learn on everything else including other pause skill timers.
