Getting seeds for a vegetable by feeding that vegetable to piggies is *a lot* of work.
I think the seed dividends should be large for the amount of produce.
As it currently stands if I grow spinach or onions or tomatoes I get 6 when they grow. 3 of them go to feeding the piggie to get the seed back out of them to reseed. So I only 'make' 3 spinach.
Has anyone tried gardening a lot this way? It's so much work for so little produce.
Especially when seeds are so expensive.. It seems that that's a motivation to do it via piggies.. but then you realize that's a bust too.
