Cool - perhaps, it's best idea to use the wiki. It's easier to update and find the information quickly than scroll all way to bottom of this thread and find the latest position of the Rube?
I usually see the Rube in Limneske or Eastern Approach on my way to the mines. I did see him somewhere else recently (underground somewhere) but he won't talk to me any more. :( I'm going to buy another emotibear and see if he'll talk to me when I have a spare. :)
@Milolin, I hate navigating away from the Glitch pages to look up something related to the game. For me it's much simpler to just move the scrollbar to the bottom.
@Cerulean: Have you heard of bookmark? Plus, actually, when this thread grow and grow - by then it would have four or five pages, you have to click, click toward to page five and find the latest location of the Rube. Wiki is the best ideal - just update information and ready to find the information via a bookmark instantly. Time-wise for me, I think.
Did you have all your items in bags IncredibleSpam?
Last time I saw him, last test, he ignored me until I dropped a bag and took out an item to keep loose in a slot, then he talked and traded for the loose item (milk). Fortunately nobody yoinked the bag I had dropped.
I saw Rube about two tests ago but the interesting thing was this: I saw him in Bartola and decided to follow him. I don't recall the street but it was one where when you walk left you come to a Dragon's mouth and have to jump up. Rube got to the mouth, hit the ledge and disintegrated slowly into confetti!
The Rube does not go in a pattern. It is random so knowing his location will not get you a chance to trade because he only trades with one person no matter how many people are on the street.
I just saw him today. Traded my cutting board for a tinkertool. Was happy to do it too. It was in Groddle Heights - I'll have to look up what street later.
Did anyone luck out and spot the Rube this test? I have yet to see the elusive Rube since I started playing in June. I didn't even know he existed until I perused the Glitch Blog to see if I could find audio of Uralia.
