Looking for something to do with your Pair of Dice?
Find some other Glitches and play an easy game called PIG!
The cool thing about the dice is that you can see what other people roll.
There are many variations of the game PIG but the way we played was as follows:
First player to 100 points wins
Players take turns rolling a pair of dice as many times as they want per round.
Player keeps going and adding the point value of their dice until one of the following:
a) They get to 100 points and win
b) One of the die rolled is a 1, in which case all points from that round are lost and turn is over
c) Player decides to Hold at their current points
We also played that if you rolled double 1's your turn was Not over and you gain +25 points
There was also a request to make it a stripping game, so if you rolled double 6's you have to strip
We played for a 25 currant wager, with losers engaging in trade with winner to pay up.
Example play:
Alph starts. Rolls 2+5=7. Can stay at 7 or keep going. Keeps going Rolls 4+2=6. Can stay at 13 or keep going. Keeps going Rolls 1+6=7. That 1 means Alph's turn is over and he gets 0 for the round.
Pot goes next. Rolls 6+6=12. Has to go to Wardrobe and take something off. Can stay at 12 or keep going. Keeps going Rolls 3+5=8. Decides to stay at 20.
Tii goes last. Rolls 1+1=25 Bonus! Can stay at 25 or keep going. Keeps going Rolls 4+1=5. That 1 means Tii's turn is over and he gets 0 for the round.
After Round One score is Alph 0, Pot 20, and Tii 0. Start Round 2 and add points from there. First player to 100 wins. If you roll a 1 you only lose the points from That round, you don't lose the points earned from the previous rounds.
Reach out to Griffypants or Fin or Piratice or Alkaline or Fokian Fool if you want to strike up a game with someone who has played before. The lag was really bad out on an open street so we ended up playing at Fokian Fool's house. If this game catches on maybe we could set up some semi-regular back-room gambling halls.
