Petition for Glitch to Reset on a Weekend

I'm going to just take a second to explain the context. Me and my sister, who both play, were having a discussion about which skills we'd learn first after the reset.

After we'd argued over just how fast we'd manage to buy our fifty thousand currant houses, we got into talking about how much Glitch we'd actually get to play. She's college age and I'm an upperclassmen in High School. We obviously don't have weekdays off and our evenings are absorbed by papers and homework and club meetings ad nauseam.

Therefore I humbly request that Glitch be reset on a weekend. It would be truly wonderful for those of us who have to work or go to school to have a few days where we're not busy to build up our adorably deleveled Glitches to a reasonable level.

Thank you.

PS: A Friday evening would be absolutely spectacular ;P

  • I guess a huge consideration on this would be whether support staff/tech staff are going to be working over that weekend to cover any issues resulting from a reset.  Gotta think of the poor support folk <3

  • And those of us who work in service and retail jobs would like to ask for equal consideration for the game to be reset on a Monday or Tuesday, since Fri/Sat/Sun are the days we are least likely to have time available to play.

And I'm sure someone will be along shortly with a special request for their situation, which would be for the reset to happen on Wednesday or Thursday.

Which is to say:  the reset will happen on the time-table that is best for TS staff, not on the time-table that is most convenient for some particular subset of players.

  • I'd like a Wednesday reset, as Thursday's my day off.  But I'll settle for whatever they choose :)

  • @DaveJohn,

Even though it may be less personally advantageous, it may be better for the world as a whole if the opening is at a time that is inconvenient to many.  Imagine all the friends you've gushed to about how awesome the game is, and all the testers who are itching to storm the freshly reset world like the doors of a suburban Target at midnight on black Friday, being let in on that first Saturday.  Good luck trying to find some sparkly!  I have read hints that they are planning to open in stages, and I think that resource desireability may have figured into that planning.  In any case, I get the feeling that you'll carve out a few hours to get your skills and currants up, get a house, and be ready to go, even if it means late-nighting on a weeknight!

    Good luck!
