Mobile

I've only just recently discovered this game, but it seems to me it would benefit hugely from some sort of mobile app—something to update me when I've finished learning a skill, or if I have a friend who wants to talk to me, etc. The mobile site allows me to start learning a new skill, but the interface seems pretty buggy [at least on my iphone's Safari] and there's no way for it to 'badge' itself when a skill completes. While I'm not a proponent of mobile gaming, I think a sort of mobile updater would be really nice.

What do you guys think?

  • I agree that this would be nice, but it's not something I'm "eagerly awaiting". Mobile Safari really hates mouseovers, and there are a lot on the Glitch site. It works fine when using a pointing device, but using fingers just makes things buggy. Personally I'd love to see a Glitch iPad app, but I'm not holding my breath since the game hasn't launched yet, and it's all in Flash (and would have to be ported to iOS). Plenty of time for those things once the game has launched.

In the mean time take a look at some of the Greasemonkey Scripts listed here in the forums, there's one for skill queuing that will start a new skill once you've finished your current one.
