I play Glitch with my fiance. Because we are new, we are dividing roles. Part of my role is in making furniture. I found it sort of interesting that the furniture had no use. Because of this, I am probably going to have my house be entirely made up of storage. Perhaps a single shelf for trophies. And any sort of decorations that don't take up any space that could've been storage (like the hanging ones, you know). My fiance on the other hand wants useless things that look pretty but serve no purpose. I would love to indulge such things. It could be cute. I could have a bed, a desk, anything. But as it stands, the only functional things are storage. A lamp provides no light. A bed does not give you rest. So...where is the point? Please allow us some logical reason, beyond aesthetics, to put furniture in our house instead of merely cabinets. I'm not sure what all of the furniture could do (I'm sure the community could come up with a few wishes), but the thing I want most is a purpose for the bed. It's weird, a home without a bed. I thought maybe it could be like meditation and make you rested when you lie down. Something. As a side note, I'd like to see full sets of things. The starting furniture is hideous. Truly. This is intended for upgrades, I understand. But not all upgrades can be matched which ends up...weird. I'm not sure why this would be. If you create a style for one thing, follow through. The game is still in beta, still developing itself into what we're thinking about. I'm thinking about furniture. Please develop it further.
P.S. Oh. And all of those cabinets? Two issues. First, the larger ones scroll which is...alright. But it blacks out the whole screen. I feel a larger grid could be used to show me everything at once, easily. I would prefer this. Also, more importantly, I'd like some way to be able to have some functionality to my bags when in storage. Right now, if I want to do anything but admire them, I must remove them first. When you forget which bag something is in or you just want one thing, this is a pain. I could, in theory, have less cabinets (and maybe, if the previous was taken to heart, more furniture) if the bags weren't so clumsy. As it stands, I try to keep bags for things that would be easy to lump together and remember. Like my meatbag. Thanks for your consideration! ^-^
