A note on auctions

Just want to put it out there; if you sell a meat collector or a butterfly milker which is not empty, they show up at the purchaser's doorstep with contents intact.  It would be nice, however, to be able to add a note to the auction stating the contents, or have logic that adds what is inside so that a full one can be reasonably charged more for than an empty.

I won't have time to skill up to RHK before the beta's end (if the Thursday PDT end of test time is true) so I sold my full ones, but couldn't let buyers know what they were getting, exactly.

  • If I look at the auctions it displays if there is any milk in the milker. At the moment it lists: Butterfly milker (0/80). So that way I know it's empty. No meat collectors on auction so I don't know if it's the same there.

  • Wiggles,
Another thought - you could ask for someone's help emptying the collector rather than auctioning.

  • By the way, beta isn't ending on Thursday.

This test period is ending on Thursday.
Beta will run a bit longer (a few weeks, perhaps)
    Then comes reset.
    Then Beta ends.

  • Thanks, everyone!

You're right, @WindBorn - I meant test end, not beta end - but is there a reset between each test?  This is my first!

@Zjoere - I hadn't looked to buy a collector off auction, so I didn't see that it let one know that it was full - but it would still be nice to be able to state it so that someone who was price shopping could see why one is worth more than another.

@g33kgurrl - I probably could have done that as well, but I was trying to get all the emblems at the time and just wanted some currants.  Just another lesson learned for when it's released!

  • @Wiggles There is no reset until right before end of beta. Which hasn't come upon us yet :)
