This is what I think she means.
Say your trying to learn a skill, but you have to leave for work. While you were gone the skill already finished and your not back for another 5 hours. That's 5 hours which could of gone into learning/starting another skill. With queuing you could line up the next skill you want to learn after the first, so when the first finishes it starts the learning of the next skill.
That would actually be great i've always sort of wished i could do that.
But i dunno perhaps it would make it sort of too easy in a sense?
If you consider that the time your offline you sleeping or something then it makes sense that you cant learn anything...
Ok i'm just kind of going round in circles in my head...
Someone made a really good point in another thread - if there are a substantial number of people using external tools to modify the game, that's A) an indication that that functionality should be incorporated into the game, and B) a huge, huge risk to a large player base. If the scripts become corrupted or compromised by malicious code, bad things will happen to people's happy feelings.
I use 2 greasemonkey scripts, but they're for relatively simple things and I thankfully don't use them much. I see tons of people mention other scripts and tools all the time. It's a good temporary fix, but it really shouldn't be treated as a legitimate solution.
+1 to this idea, also great post WereBear. There is another problem with it remaining 3rd party as well, in that everyone who doesn't use it is somewhat at a disadvantage. It's not much of a problem, but lots of glitchen out there don't know about the academy. It would make things so much simpler if it was just incorporated into the skills page already.
I think everyone would like having a skill queue. But i still think it would be sort of cheating. Maybe that's just me. I do think though you should only be able to queue one skill.
@Miniature Theres not really a competition to learn all the skills, so who are you cheating? Maximizing your own efficiency doesn't really affect anyone else.
