Time measurement in Glitch

Since Glitch has its own in-game calendar system that bears no resemblance to real-life calendars save the fact that there are twelve months, I think it is needless to have a 24-hour day. Would it not be better that the in-game clock reflects the real-time time by having 4-hour day?

Information on time (for learning skills, raising crops etc.) are given IRL time. If a Glitch hour is of same length as a real-life hour, then the information given is also in-game accurate.

  • Good idea! I always get confused trying to figure out how long stuff will take in real time vs. glitch time

  • I think you make a good point, draq, but I kind of like the way the clock works as is: when it goes by so fast, I realize I should get up and go do something else!

  • I'd prefer that the seed packets give the growing time in Glitch time, not RL time.
