Magic Rock "landing site"

Hiya! I am a fan of the rug removal :) As the rock's look is still in development possibly, I think it might be cool to have a little bit of a landing site type thing.

I like the look of him sitting there without the rug, but when he "descends" (beams down?) it looks a bit weird for him to have nothing there.  I mean, not a problem or anything - probably I'm just comparing it to the way it was, having a rug to land on.

Anyway, I think it would be fantastic to have a little shadowed "divot" in the ground where he lands.

Although, maybe it would be odd, visually, for the divot to be there before he gets there - maybe after? Technically the divot could be from him sitting there before but I don't think that would be as obvious as the visual imput.

Okay, I'm tired and rambly and probably shouldn't post this but what the heck.

Divot!

  • I really liked the rug.  :(    I do agree though that a divot or some kind of shadow would be good to have for the rock as a landing spot.  Actually, what I would like to see is a choice for us as to the landing spot.  We could pick the rug, a divot, a shadow, or another type of platform entirely - we could imagine a bunch of type of spots. That way, I could still have my rug and others could have their choices!  And the rock wouldn't have to worry about landing in the wrong place and *gulp* maybe hurting himself.

  • It's a minor thing, but I like the customization factor! +1 from me!

  • *chuckle*

As I was reading this I had a vision...

Imagine if you will a Rook hovering right outside your house or right outside your backyard door.

Now imagine the Magic Rock dropping down and squashing the rook and making a nice pile of black feathers for the Magic Rock to sit on.
