Bags Insinde of Bags?

Now how neat would it be to be able to do that? But there would probalby be some issues, say with like those people out there that woud have a bigger bag full of bigger bags... :/ Well the staff could make it to where only one bag fits inside another bag but then no bags could go inside of that one, so we dont have too much stuff..... Now, what do you, the public, think of this???

  • okay... But there are 2 problems in my opinion

    1. Lose Stuff Easier
    2. theres supposed to be a limit

  • We have an inventory serch! So, no you wont "lose stuff."

  • A infinite inventory limit? Not gonna happen.

  • +1 though I do get what taco and cardinal was saying about the limit

  • No offense, but:
Erm, that seems terrible. That will allow unlimited storage- and guess what? Would you have 16 Bags with you, that was all full with 16 Bags inside there, and 16 bags inside there, in real life? Besides, why would anyone buy bags to put other bags inside them? o.0

  • Hey, it was just an idea!!! And i didnt mean an infine inventory space!!! Say... OH NEVER MIND!

  • Since you can now pop /home at will, you have essentially unlimited storage near at hand at all times. We don't really need bags-in-bags anymore.

  • I think it'd be nice if you could put a bag inside a bag that is in one of your main slots and go no further - That way, bag space wouldn't be infinite but we would still get an abundant amount of space to carry our stuff. Plus, we've got that handy-dandy search feature on our side!

  • If you have an idea, and you're not prepared to hear feedback ....that's a caution.

I, for one, was worried that if we place a bag inside another bag that we'd tear a whole in the universe, and get de-imaginated.

Gotta be careful with this stuff, man.

  • I like this idea...I don't understand why everyone is beating it down.

  • I agree with CTP - everyone knows that putting a bag of holding inside a portable hole will open a rift to the Astral Plane. I'm sure similar physics hold sway here.

  • I like it too, but the devs definitely won't do it.

  • @Pickle Bob:
I somewhat like the idea as well; and we are not beating ANYthing.
    We are:
    a) at times, being funny.
    b) pointing out the obvious implications of infinite nesting of bags
    c) pointing out that we (at times) have rather enough carrying capacity
    d) pointing out that with /home, we have a no-cost method of /homing, dumping our stuff, and then resuming what we were doing.
    e) making D&D references. (Thanks, Scarlett, for joining me in this effort.)

These things are what we, the commenters, are doing.
If we wanted to beat it down, we'd be making fun of the typo in the subject line.

  • A bag bag might be neat, but it would have to hold only other empty bags. On the other hand, we have cabinets, which hold bags full of stuff. And since we can essentially take our house wherever we go now and we can leave whatever we want in that house, the only limit to the amount of stuff we can have with us at any point in time is the amount of stuff we can have in our house before flash or our browsers quit on us.

The only time I wish a bag could hold another bag is when I'm sorting my inventory. But all that tells me is that I have too many bags.
