Creative Uses for Small Shiny Objects With No Intrinsic Value

If you've poked a batch of very stinky cheese and are now the proud owner of these lovely doorstops, what creative uses have you found for them?

I am adding mine as decor in my Herbal Hookah & Martini Lounge on my 3rd floor.

  • lol - I think of mine as a doorstop too - thats worrying!

I use mine as a random artisitically placed object of no real decorativeness as a shiny pebble lost in a sea of grains of sand - in other words it sits pretending to be avant-garde in the middle of my garden ( not far from the door in case I need a doorstop).

I did wonder about creating a shingle beach with some, but hit a temporary hitch when I realised I could only lay them all out in a straight line - still maybe that has potential.......?

I'll make it a personal objective next test to find a niche in Glitch for these beautiful doortops. :)

  • A couple of tests ago I came upon a side street where there are a line of 15 or so even spaced objects. Very pretty and oddly mysterious.

  • Currently I have them lining the path to my pigpen where they lie just out of snout's reach of my greedy porcines.

  • lol - my house in Alakol is quite long - I can just imagine a Fibonacci sequence strung along the floor.
*Twoodle goes off to plan* - at least it distracts me from the lack of game!

  • They're good for dropping on people at parties.
That's how I first found one, someone bombed me with it.

  • @Ebil - I take it you never met the hairball? There was a quest where you are introduced to it and making cheese.

  • I lined my garden path with them until I was no longer able to make them by poking cheese... so the path is unfinished.  Has this been fixed again?

  • not fixed as of last test, I'm sad to say...

  • @Fokian Fool, I do remember meeting the hairball, but I don't recall getting the object to keep. Maybe I did, and I dropped or donated it on the first day of playing. The first time I actually remember having one in my inventory was when someone dropped one on me and I picked it up for a closer look lol

  • I just like shiny things so I throw them all over my "backyard." I wish they came in diferent colors, though.
