Pick your favorite street "view"

So, imagine you're sitting in your real-life house, and the game window is actually a window to the outside world.

Which Glitch street would you pick to be the view outside your window?

I absolutely adore Tejj Trades. I think that it has the best view of any street built so far. (I live in Washington State, and it comes close, but this is truly an amazing view!)

    It's the reason I moved there :)

  • @emdot Do we know if those are gigantic sand dunes or snow-covered mountains?

  • i'm quite fond of the marrakesh.

  • Bishop's Arch. There's a natural bridge not too far from where I live that's breathtaking.

  • Definitely Cebarkul, or really anything in Uralia. I love the color palette (and the mushrooms!), and can't wait for this area to be expanded.

  • Ooooo.... A Glitch based "Google Street View" came to mind when I saw this lol... future addition to the World maps perhaps?

On topic, anything in Uralia... reminds me of my High School drug experimentation hehe.

  • Feman Falters in Alakol is stunning (click on the Plus to get the full view).

  • @Codex- that's gotta be in my top five

  • I've probably gone through Freman Falters at least 100 times, and never once noticed the vista. Amazing perspective.

  • Scribe's Weald in Groddle Forest. I remember when I first came across it, and it was the first location in the game that quite literally took my breath away. There's just something so simple and beautiful about the way the light shines on the paper tree. Absolutely stunning.

  • Feman falters! 'Cause I can jump off the top and be at the bottom in seconds!

  • @c0mad0r: We could definitely use a "Google Earth" style map!

  • Probably Ruta Asuncion... or maybe Groddle Ladder?  I love Uralia, and the foreground mushrooms and such are especially stunning there.  But when it comes to being in Glitch and noticing the background, I'm not sure anything will grab me quite the way these places in Ix grabbed me, heading out of the first tutorial... omg, they said.  This game's on the cracksauce.

  • Ix is like being dumped into a Dr. Seuss book and left there to write the words yourself. It's amazing.

  • OMG YES  I LOVE THAT.  There's also a certain wacked out room in someplace secret that I won't spoil... But ooh, but those brain rays are tasty :9~

  • I would like to have a view of either inner mind or crystal climb. Theyre absolutely beautiful.

  • Ramsley Sway, need I say more?  The beauty of this street is something I could view daily and that I wish I could see outside my window when I open the curtains.  When I first arrived, I knew almost immediately that I wanted to live in Groddle Meadows.   By the time I had the currants, there was no good location available that I could afford.  It was a dilemma.  Should I buy a cheaper home in the Forest or remain homeless until I earn enough currants for a Meadow Home?  I decided that any home was better than sleeping in the streets so I moved into a beautiful treehouse in the Forest.  Now I live in Alakol, another wonderful location, but I still dream of Ramsley Sway and a Meadow home.  Maybe after the reset and if there are animal pens available, I will have my Meadow home and can easily visit Ramsley Sway daily.

  • there are many interesting level designs, so it is difficult for me to pick, but seeing as it hasn't been mentioned yet i would like to mention Janagi Elations, with it's steep, deep drop and swooping foreground rock formation. [click the magnifying glass to see full street]

  • I love the beautiful greenery with trees, a mountain off in the distance, and the sky is a beautiful spring/summer happy blue at Groddle Meadows, and I also love the overlook in Salatu where you can see the ocean from a home.  Also like the unusual, quirky looking places!  They add such a fun "oh my!" experience to the game. :-)

  • Even though it's hard to imagine living in a cave as ideal, if I saw a cave in RL which looked anything like Imenskie Deeps it would truly be the most beautiful thing ever.  As great as the other locations are (and I do prefer others, as stated above), most of them have a ways to go to compete with the Parc Guell.

  • I'm still waiting on a beach view to have a favorite...but for now, I guess I'd pick a couple of the Meadows Streets:

For the background - Leftmost Graze: http://beta.glitch.com/locations/LCR10B6U5NJ1VMA/
For the foreground/flowers - Eglegown Wanks: http://beta.glitch.com/locations/LCR14062REM1QIR/ (a smidge prettier than Marrakesh, IMO, even if the name is a bit off-color...)

  • Ajaya Bliss is my favorite location in Ilmenskie (for the background, not the obvious reason).

  • - Nandak Intention - have you *seen* that underground sea? And the hidden cave?
Ortolana - hitch yourself over to the far left side, stand on the bank, and look into the distance, where the water meets the land, and then the sky.
    - Flipside, or just about everywhere in Ix. Holes in the sky! Psychedelic stairways! Spice trees filling the air with the scent of nutmeg! (You do know nutmeg is psychoactive, right? Don't eat too much. You'll get sick.)

  • I have a new favorite street view: Siuruan Untold. (I wonder how you pronounce that?). So pretty. ;)

  • I love many of the streets, too many to list.  I love that most of them are very unique from one another.  I'm also very impressed that many of them have other areas in the background.  Things I've seen close-up on one street can be seen in the distance in another and I think that's brilliant!!

  • Loved the view from 4348 Shak Shales so that is why I bought my house there during beta. I also love the peacefulness of sitting on the rock ledge on the right hand side of Mallos Means.
