'cause sometimes you hit the wrong recipe, or you realize you want to go see something a friend's showing you, or whatever. It's nice sometimes to be able to cancel the actions that are cancelable so it'd just be neat to do that with cooking too.
And mostly because the food pane has a red X in the top corner suggesting that you should be able to cancel, but if you click it, you just get the "Let it finish" message. Either make the X work or remove it, pretty please.
+1 since I have, on occasion, used up all of my resources and energy making something. This would be very helpful. No need to use up any energy nor supply any outcome. Sometimes, an 'uh-oh' button (the 'x' in this case) is always helpful.

Sort of on the idea: I would like to stop (or 'x' out of) the machine-building process. Especially since it does take up 20 energy per time, and it is VERY easy to misclick and disasemble the machine instead of using it or refueling it. Thank you :)
If one dies whilst in the middle of a gigantic batch process, one ends up in hell receiving the "Let it finish!" message. Which amuses me. And then the game sends a message something to the effect of, "That would have cost you X energy, but you had none!"
