Oh wow, fantastic! And yes, this would be great for swf blocks. I've now got into the habit of dropping them immediately if I notice one go into my bags...
If you have musicblocks sitting around in your cabinets or loose in your house, picking them up into your inventory and then reloading seems to update them to stackability.
Not sure how I feel about this... hope this implies something more is coming for them at least. Seems like this messes with their identity. Blah, I'm sure I'll feel differently later.
I a am really happy that they did this. It wasn't something worth complaining about but it was always a bit annoying to have to find a spot for an extra music block.
This is the sort of change that I really appreciate - its not big and flashy - its a small change that makes the game more enjoyable. Thanks for paying attention to the details!
While I never asked for this change I am very, very grateful for it. Now I can harvest more before taking a trip to Cebarkul to sell off the musicblocks I get.^_^
Hmm, this had an unfortunate side-effect that it's harder to drop them into stacks in your house. (I like to keep a separate pile of musicblocks for each color and then donate them in groups of 10 or more to make best use of EHSP.)
Not only don't they stack reliably, but you sometimes can't drop a music block into a pile of others, without jumping up in the air while you do it (the "prevent stacking trick"). I haven't characterized the behavior exactly, but I've seen it with both old and new musicblocks, although not consistently enough for a crisp bug report.
What I love most is that the stupid crab doesn't fill your screen with a list of all your individual music blocks any more. If you have more than one, it's still only 1 button.

I don't think this was entirely for our direct benefit. I think the recent moves to introduce or increase stack sizes have more to do with keeping the moving boxes (which are in development) from busting.
