One of the more common questions that comes up in Live Help is, "Why can't I visit my friend's street?" or "Why can't my friend visit my street?" and the answer invariably is because one or both of them have not completed the tutorial. However, they are not aware of this fact. As far as I can tell, they have no indication they are ever DOING a tutorial. In fact, early this morning I had a person asking for help in FINDING the tutorial, as he didn't know how to start it. Of course, he WAS actually doing the tutorial, he just did not know that.
Could there be some kind of indicator about that please? Perhaps even something that shows how far they have progressed along the tutorial... something that shows how many steps there are, maybe, and how many steps they have finished already.
As far as menus... it is not obvious that the mood indicator and the iMG cloud are actually buttons that reveal menus. Could you please add some kind of detailing that makes that more obvious? The iMG cloud just looks like a label for the number next to it. Plus, when you open the iMG menu, half the things in it have nothing to do with iMG, which seems confusing to me. What does Go Home or Back to World have to do with iMG? Lots of new players have no idea where those buttons are located, and have to ask in Live Help how to leave their street. It would make more sense to me to have a toggling Home/World button available at all times above the game window. Or a button called GO that opened a little menu for House, Street, Tower (when they have one) and World.
It's great that we have the /home /house /tower /leave commands in the local chat, but players also need to know where these other menu items are located.
Just my two currants.
