Test tube animation looping

I'm trying to create one of each compound as I haven't done that yet. When I create a new one, the green bar almost reaches the end before my browser freezes. When the game finally recovers, the test tube animation loops constantly and I can't back out of it without refreshing the game. This isn't a case of creating the max amount of compounds (as I saw that bug noted in another post) as I'm only creating one.

I realize once I have one of each created this won't be an issue anymore, but it's being a bit of a pain having to refresh each time. I'm not sure if this is a Firefox issue or the game.

I also tried sending in a bug report while the animation looped in the background but it looks like it never sent as it's not in my help tickets.

  • You'll be relieved (or not) to know that I have been getting the exact same problem as you.

    I too have been having to refresh to be able to get out from the test tube animation, and I use Firefox as well.

    (ps I have tried to get rid of the below stuff, but it doesn't seem to want to stay deleted)

    tr td:last-child .minor", metaSel: "a[href*=\"profiles\"]", avCss: "top:50%;margin-top:-19px;left:-50px;width:38px;height:38px;background-position:-1px -7px;overflow:hidden;text-indent:-10000px;-webkit-border-radius:19px;-moz-border-radius:19px;border-radius:19px;"}}; confs.grouplist = confs.forumlist; confs.group = confs.forum; if (/www\.glitch\.com\/forum\/\w+\/\d+\/?/i.test(window.location.href)) { var conf = confs.forum; } else if (/www\.glitch\.com\/forum\/\w+/i.test(window.location.href)) { var conf = confs.forumlist; } else if (/www\.glitch\.com\/groups\/\w+\/discuss\/\d+/i.test(window.location.href)) { var conf = confs.group; } else if (/www\.glitch\.com\/groups\/\w+/i.test(window.location.href)) { var conf = confs.grouplist; } else if (/developer\.glitch\.com\/forum\/\d+/i.test(window.location.href)) { var conf = confs.dev; } else if (/developer\.glitch\.com\/forum/i.test(window.location.href)) { var conf = confs.devlist; } else { return; } function makeAvatar(tsid, name, url, topic) { if (topic) { var a = $("" + name + ""); } else { var a = $("" + name + ""); } return a; } function showAvatars() { var posts = {}; function getAvatar(tsid) { if (posts.hasOwnProperty(tsid)) { api_call("players.fullInfo", {player_tsid: tsid}, function (data) {if (!data.avatar || !data.avatar[50] || !data.player_name) {return;}var url = data.avatar[50];for (var i = 0; i

  • Is there a fix to this yet? I sent a bug report. I hope it gets fixed soon. It's sorta slowing down all the fun I was having.

  • Really?  Firefox 3?  I was using that same outdated browser and I will tell you what anyone in Support would tell someone using an ancient browser, with 90% accuracy:

    You need to update.

    No two ways.  Older browsers are not supported by web developers.

  • I have the current up-to-date version 7.0.1 and posted the problem, so it's not restricted to an older browser version.

    (And oh hai, I know you! :P)
