Chickens climbing ropeladders?

So I'm here at a friend's and having difficulty wrangling a chicken... because he keeps hanging out on the rope ladder.  Should chickens be able to climb rope ladders?

(Seriously, though, chicken. Good job getting in the house! You're very clever.)

  • I'm not sure how a chicken would get in the house in the first place. The last house I had (before I sold it) has one, but I grew it from a chick (along with the piglet and butterfly). But that's they only way I know of unless TS devs put it in.

  • Chickens and pigs have wandered into houses for several months. It's a bug.    My chicken flies up into the tree, and then gets stuck until I jump past him and pet him.

IIRC, my first house came with a chicken, to incubate eggs but no other animals.

  • It's actually really easy to get a chicken into your house. You incubate the egg using a street chicken, and  then release the chick into your house and feed it until it grows up into a full chicken (10 grain). Now, you have a chicken. In your house. And they climb ladders.

  • Last night I watched a chicken climbing the pebble ladders in Groddle Heights. It was very awkward to watch.

  • Cricket was visiting my house, over in Shimla Mirch.  In this case, the chicken actually came with the house when i bought it -- it was right inside the front door when i walked in for the 1st time.  I'd prefer if the stupid thing would stay down in the herb garden, but it keeps thinking it's clever and climbs up the rope ladder to the 1st floor.  When i left for today, the chicken had gotten itself all the way up to the top floor.

Stupid chicken.  I'm going to replace you with a dozen butterflies.
