can't load due to flash error

I know you don't care about my issues because I run Linux (and no I do not have a Windows machine available to "borrow", nor will I), but the fact remains that a single display element (it's a particular folded-rock image in the background of some streets, at least that's what's common to all the streets that crash me out) has now kicked me out of the game entirely (Flash 11 crashes, and Flash 10, which used to work for those streets to get me back in the game, now fails to load the game at all).  I have some months left (6 I think) on a subscription that I now cannot use because I can't load the game at all (no, I don't want a refund, I want to be able to play Glitch!), and I now know that a few dozen streets (including many fox habitats, much of Groddle Heights, and several other streets) will kick me out of the game with no possibility to reenter.  All in all a rather upsetting situation.

  • About Flash 10.3, see this post

Sending us a help case over elements that don't load and giving us very specific information about what you experience, would be appreciated.

  • Thanks, kevbob, I'm not trying to make things difficult, just upset I can't play.Created, I actually reported the issue a few months back, and have been switching (wrote a quick script to do that) flash versions to work around it since.

I'm happy to help find the error any way I can, if there's any chance it will get fixed.
I write software for a living (over 20 years experience), so I'm not unfamiliar with white-box QA of Flash code (I may not write Flash code, but I've written a few backend Java services used by Flash frontends).

  • We may have fixed loading with Flash 10.3; if you want to give that a go.

  • the 10.3 fix worked, so I was able to get back in and off that street.  That doesn't fix the root issue, but it helps for now.
