Aaand we have another round. Expect these to come out twice-weekly for now, usually on Tuesdays and Fridays. The Twitter account for more timely updates is still in the works, and I'll let you know here when that's up and running. So, let's get to down to business. Bear with me, this'll be a long one.
Want to ogle stuff? Just press "C". You're now able to pan around a small area of your location that would normally be out of view. With the new skill Eyeballery, this area will be expanded to the entire level. Another new skill, Snapshotting, will let you save PNGs of the gameplay area to your hard drive - once you've nabbed a Camera of course.
**Update on Eyeballery: this will not work in locations where you have either no mini-map or are missing your Rock (homes being the main example).
The Rube has changed his game up a bit, as you may have noticed. He'll now only offer 5 trades (with a warning when you're about to run out). Finally, he has become something of an agoraphobe, and *won't* come around if there are more the 8 people at your location.
The "Legalize It" quest has been updated, and will now send players to the Bureaucratic Hall they are nearest when they accept the quest. In case you haven't seen them yet, the two new Halls can be found in Baeli Bray, Muufo and Chego Chase, Andra.
Team mining has been adjusted so that only the first 9 people count towards the total bonus chunks received, effectively capping the maximum bonus at 30 chunks.
Blessed were the cheesemongerers, but now the rewards for everything lactose-related have been altered. Delays have been added to the various steps involved in cheese making, and the price of Very, Very Stinky Cheese has been set at 24 currants.
We've fiddled with 11 recipes for foods where half or more of the ingredients could (past tense) be purchased from a vendor. You may find that some require additional (or different) ingredients you'll have to harvest or make yourself - no word yet on how this'll affect your eco footprint. ;)
