Couldn't decide whether this was a bug or an idea for Imagination. I'm going to call it a bug, since I'm sure you folks would have fixed these things had you decided to continue with level caps.
If you decide to put caps on Imagination (and I haven't seen one way or another, but I hope not) these comments may be helpful.
When I reached Level 60, the game quit showing me the blue icon for XP when petting pigs, massaging butterflies, etc. It also quit flying the value from the game screen to the XP meter.
Those are nice touches.
It would have been even nicer if the 0 XP fixes had been completed:
Don't show the dialogue in local chat when I craft things. I don't need 4 lines of text telling me I'm not going to get any XP for this activity. I really don't need it over and over again as I craft a full stack of Tangy Sauce ingredients. And the text is inaccurate anyway. It's not a game day limit that I've reached.
Don't show the dialogue when I donate to shrines. Same problem. My limit is not for this game day.
Don't let me steal XP quoins from lower level players just by walking down the street. Block my character from interacting with them at all.
If mood has no other value in the game than to affect your XP reward (and I haven't discovered one), fix the mood meter so that it's constantly happy. I've reached Nirvana, I'm perpetually blissful. Don't have my mood meter keep going down. For a game that uses icons and rewards to keep players subliminally engaged, the red mood meter is a real turn off.
Remember how people during Alpha and Beta One would try to leave their icons green because it was such a downer to come to the forums and see the red face? There were posts to that effect (which I can't find right now). You're doing a great job with positive motivation, but once you reach 60, it becomes negative.
When mood is permanently blissful, turn off the text in local chat that constantly warns me my mood is getting low. Another turn off. The warning is irrelevant and is a negative reminder that I'm not gaining any benefit from playing.
ETA: ok, maybe this belongs in Ideas where other Level 60s can add their comments.
