Hi folks! Geminiangel619, MicklePickle, and Faereluth, I have gone to your homes, zapped borked machines, and laid out replacement parts for you to make a new one. Anyone else, if you have a stuck woodworker, please submit a bug report so we can log the issue, and we'll come and sort yours out as well. Thanks, all!
ooh I posted a help form a couple of days ago as my wood machine is stuck 'in use' and no-one has come out yet. I've just posted another update to the original report so fingers crossed it will be mended soon. Is it customary in these events to leave a tip for the engineer or offer a beverage?
Edit: Have just left a note and some drinks by my broken machine : )
..my wood machine is still broken. Not sure if it's worth buying another one and setting it up incase it happens again..then I'll be stuck with 2 not working...: (
We won't have it fixed before tomorrow, peeps. Yes, send us a help case if you haven't, we can spot you some equipment in the meantime. (And Arabesque, that was done for you. :)
Nothing to add of any importance here...just that..."borked"? I snorted out loud...that's a funny word! Made me think of the Chef from the Muppet Show "Oing-de-boing-dy, bork, bork, bork!"
Thanks so much Kevbob! They arrived as I had just finished spinning the wheel - I thought that's a great prize, then I realised what was happening - thank again and I did leave you guys some drinks in my house! Will inbox them to you when I get home : )
I can't find the original post about the bug, but this happened to me: The first time I tried to use my woodworker I think I tried to make 26 boards, and I'm pretty sure nothing happened except the fuel was decremented, because after that it had 24 fuel. Also I think it came with 50 fuel instead of 10, which is fine by me. Later I was able to make 11 boards, and got the 'new item' pop-up for them.
I reported the inefficient/non-functional wood+fuel usage and the bug has been acknowledged and recorded. I lost about 20 wood posts trying to make beams (and the fuel to go along with it) before it was verified as a bug (at which point, obviously, I stopped throwing away good wood and fuel).
