Chickens and butterflies DIE?

I heard about butterflies dying off, but chickens too? Please tell me this isn't true. :(

  • You can squeeze them enough that they go *poof* in a cloud of pink smoke like they do when you set them free, but it's pretty rare.

  • I've had half a dozen chickens go poof. It seems to be related to incubating more than squeezing though

    They don't die though, they go to live in a retirement home run by the Giants. 

    PS, a staff member once told me that piggies have a lifespan too, it's just much, much longer than even chickens

  • you can kill chickens in the wild. It was Pi Day that we decimated the chicken population...even in the wild.

  • and Pigs can starve - pretty easily actually.  Supposedly they can die from old age, but they must crawl off to some quiet hidden spot to do so.
