Reward Structure for Feats?

I searched forums, but can't find the answer or maybe it is arbitrary depending on the particular feat. I know I will never make the leader boards. That's okay.  But I wonder what  the range is for receiving various rewards. For instance, currently I have 1002 points towards "...And Ask Nothing in Return". Will the  reward be the same or change if get it up to 1,500 or 2000? It would be nice to know the breakdown so if we are close to a certain cut-off we can keep workin':)

  • For the past few feats it has been Top 26 for Large Rocks and the next 179 (so 27 to 205) for Medium Rocks. However there is currently an issue where not all 179 people are receiving Medium Rocks. After that, it's 3 Small Rocks, 2 Small Rocks, and 1 Small Rock but we don't know the ranges for those.

  • For the last feat, my portion included some largish amount of energy, which I received at the same time as a new day refill (when I logged back in).  What happens to that?  Is it just lost because I didn't need it when it was awarded?

  • Thanks for the information, Tom. I like the feats! Most likely, since we are still beta, the awesomers will be tweaking the reward system as more feats are tested. I really hope that they will let us know the ranges for small rocks when a feat is introduced. That way, players can work towards certain rewards  like we do when we work on badges for bubbles or bean, etc.  I agree with freerangefatty that being awarded mood/energy is not really a reward because they come at the beginning of a new day so meh.

  • I definitely agree some kind of notification on the feat page about this would be useful! It could certainly contribute to the grinding aspect of things, as people feel the need to advance in reward categories, but then again it could cut down on unnecessary grinding when you know you're not going to reach the next level.
