now how do you get it out? I accidentally let a chicken int my loft, I was feeding the chick in the hope of letting it into the hallway when it was ready but without warning it jumped out of my bag full grown.
Bummer. Can I get somebody with higher animal skills to release it? I don't want animal skills and I don't want a damn noisy chicken in my loft. I created the egg for the quest, and I wanted to keep the chicken in the hallway in case anyone needs it for grain or incubati
Treesa, at the moment chickens never die. Nobody but the owner can remove a chicken from a home, so if you can't do it no one can. Sorry.... maybe you could move if it's irritating you that much?
If you got a pig pen, which you do not, you can place the chickens there so they do not fly around. Chickens and butterflies do not need to be fed after they are no longer a baby.

It's actually not a higher level animal skill. You need Herdkeeping to release animals. With its pre-req's of Soil Appreciation I and II, it should take about 5 hours to learn. The benefits to learning this is you also have the ability to kidnap piggies with Pig Bait and it is needed for Remote Herdkeeping which is a very useful thing to know.
