Why are blue-white hexagon keys so valuable?

They're over 3000 currants - and selling at that price! Why?

  • That's the key needed to access the two mining locations with lots of sparklies :)

  • The door near the blocked off street.
It's the one on the opposite side - not the street with the cave in.
I forget the name of it but I'll check next time I'm in the game :)

  • It's the key to Kristel Kaos seam street. The keys spawn in a couple of places, it's not worth that much.

  • that's got to be a mistake. Kristel Kaos is really rather underwhelming, unless there have been major upgrades. Unless they're now starting to open a whole other area, in which case I feel like  a chump for dropping them in random places :O

  • Where does the key spawn?

  • Yeah it's not valuable unless it *does* open a new area, in which case, wow there's a new area?!  ~O.O~  Where where??

  • I... uh... know that one of the recent purchases was from someone who didn't know what the area was and wanted to check it out...

  • Yeah, DON'T buy that key at 4000c.  That's totally ridiculous unless you're a currant-masochist.

  • Oh man that sucks.  =(
Another case of people taking advantage of one another.  How very unglitchy.  :`(

  • Not necessarily, Miso. People occasionally "store" items in the auctions by posting them for sale at outrageous prices. But if the next person comes along who *does* want to sell that item only looks at the auction price instead of the actual value, then the price can go up overall.

Not saying that's what happened here (I have NO idea!), but I am suggesting that there might be a less "un-glitchy" explanation!

    Merry Glitchmas! :D

  • Ohh you have a good point, I once put something up for auction at like 10,000c and was shocked when it accidentally sold, I had forgotten about that.  =(
