How are people making money these days (aside from mining)? I used to make a lot of money with gardening just from getting music blocks while I gardened, but that seems to have been changed and I hardly get them these days. I can still make money from selling the vegetables I grow, but those music blocks were a nice bonus.
Anybody making money from animal kinship skills? Milk and meat seem pretty cheap. How about cooking skills? If you make a lot of money from cooking, is it more efficient to buy the ingredients or get them yourself?
While I'd like to see more options for ways to earn currants, I don't have a problem with ever having enough since I do quite a bit of mining. Also, gathering barnacles, etc in the swamps can be profitable, especially on the auctions and if a project is active. I know quite a few that love the cooking and make very good money that way too. However, there seem to be so many skills that could be added to increase the options...
I'm for this. I make more currants in an hour selling gems and chunks with Mining II than I could make with gardening in an entire game day with Light Green Thumb II and Gardening II.
i had been in a similar predicament. the most money i had seen was around 10k,
(two days ago) i was trying to play the auction house, and using strategies i have used in other games. then someone told me everyone just sells to the tool vendors for 80% market value and in two hours i made 140k from mining. now i can afford( but dont want because they are not nearly as cute as my nintendo themed house) one of the 50k houses..
