Debug Flash 10, Updated Flash 11

So, when I tried to enter the game yesterday, there was a Glitch screen that told me I was using an old version of Flash and I needed to update.  Which I did, to Flash 11.

Today, when I had a crash, there was a Glitch screen that asked me to use the debugger version.  Which I started to re-install, but noticed that it was still Flash 10.

Is there a debugger version of Flash 11, and could the crash screen link to that?  Or should I revert to Flash 10 so that the debugger info is available to the devs?

  • I second this question. Also, when I tried play with Flash 11, clicking on my friends & groups list didn't work anymore. So I'm back on version 10 and things are working fine.

Big edit! Instead of just disabling flash 10, I have downloaded the flash uninstaller (linked to from the Glitch FAQ) then I enabled Flash 11 and everything works fine now. Silly me. Anybody else using Chrome on a MacBook Pro can learn from my mistake. Don't let my suffering be in vain! Still, is there a debug version 11? I didn't find one on the Flash site.

  • There's a link in the Glitch FAQ to the Flash 11 version of the debug.

I think what's causing the confusion is that the pop-up window when Flash crashes still links to the Flash 10 version, or at least says it's going to when you hover over the link.

I was able to navigate to the FAQ, get the uninstaller, and then download the Flash 11 debug version from the FAQ page.

  • Clicked on the link to upgrade to Flash 11 and saw this:
Note:Flash Player does not support 64-bit versions of Windows XP and Vista. Flash Player 11 now includes support for Windows 7 64-bit.

Well, huh. I hope Flash 10 continues to work with Glitch cause I like this game but not enough to change my OS in order to play.
