But the gnome army was definitely a collaboration. At first I was spending all my time mining to get funds for more gnomes, but then all sorts of people just started giving me gnomes - sometimes 5 at a time!
(This is why I love this game. Collaborating on being silly.)
Hooray! Thanks to devs for clearing my no-no powder bug, but has left me with no mood! Need to get there and drink some serious cocktails! (Luckily I made a batch just before close!)
Dont forget, to keep yer stuff (if it's like last reset) - auction your stuff for super high prices right before. Then just 'cancel' the auctions after the reset to have your items back.
@Alandris: Keep the auctions last for 24 hours each. If you keep them running through the week (ie. start one at a conveniant time, 24 hours later, just as it has expired, re-auction it), and the items should be safe. Repeat: *should*.
@Herp: *self reminder to set items for 100,000C each* :P
:O I don't want them to take away my SB-1 Musicblock! Can there be like the same system as the yeti's, for SB-1's? :3
so on reset you dont lose you levels money and items and start as a bunch of know-nothing level one characters with no bags or items or anything?
What exactly is 'reset' if there are ways of keeping things? I thought a reset was a reset and the only thing we kept were our usernames and avatars...
"Reset" generally means that yes, everyone loses everything (including houses) and starts from scratch, although some semi-resets have occurred which have, for instance, removed all houses (and, sadly, their contents with them) but provided a currantsy balance in return. In this case, it's safe to assume the next reset really will reset everything and we all start over.
But devs being devs, there would almost surely be a way for them to seed, say, a Glitchmas Yeti back into the inventories of those who had one in an earlier life....
According to the facebook page, there will be two more resets, one at the end of January, and one before going beta. But once Glitch goes beta we get to keep everything.
So this should give you one last chance to perfect your strategy before going beta.
