One thing I've noticed seems to be missing from this game is towns. There's plenty of nature and wilderness, but very little urban feel. Glitch being a player-driven game I think it would be cool to allow Groups or just groups of players to establish towns. There would be a maximum of one per street, a license would have to be obtained from the Bureaucratic Office, probably at great expense, through a difficult quest, and/or with a minimum number of founding citizens. The towns would work like neighborhoods. Citizens of the town could purchase houses in the town, and there would be one or two public street areas where the town could complete quests and/or pay for vendors to be present. These towns could open up myriad other opportunities, such as aligning a town with a giant, hosting player-run events in town game areas, competitions between towns (both on leaderboards and through more organized contests), etc. This is a very rough idea at the moment, but if there's any interest I could write up a more detailed design plan.
