@Prof. Woland:Apparently, dragons don't care about work or sleep.
Yeah, even though I am rated AKES with a capital A on the Bartle index, I think there's going to be some achievements I'll be skipping in the name of sanity.
lol, Don't worry the achievement is easier than it looks, it only counts the days your logged in, so as long as you don't log in 5 minutes before the day ends, you're good.
Actually, the 'consecutive days' should read 'consecutive game days in which you are logged in'. In other words, game days where you were not logged in doesn't count against the badge.
Boom or Bust is right, I'm pretty sure. I definitely got the 5 day one without doing 5 actual game days in a row. So the real challenge of getting this badge is *not* logging in when you don't have much time to play, and making sure you don't log in shortly before a day change.
I'd also like to second "Actually, the 'consecutive days' should read 'consecutive game days in which you are logged in'."
I got the achievement a little while ago and can definitely confirm I did NOT have to log in every four hours to get it. Just every time I WAS in I collected the 100coins.
Good to know and interesting. It would seem that if you are going after this achievement, you aren't going to be a casual player. For example, I sometimes get on for a few minutes before work and log out. I couldn't do that and get this badge.
It doesn't actually take more than a few minutes if you get the right zone.
I used Herschey Track, there 32 coins up in the trees, provided theres no one else there it just requires you to run round the zone three times - the coins spawned only a few seconds after I'd completed a run round.
There's quite a few other zones which seemed to have lots of coins, maybe if other people have completed this achievement they could also post their favourite zone, that way not everyones trying for the same zone.
My favorite place to max out coins for the day is Vicar's Peak. It's behind a locked door so there is rarely anyone in there, the key spawns right by the door on Thornton Layers every 10 minutes, otherwise they only cost about 60 - 100 currants at auction. There are probably about 40 coins in total there, including 2 favor coins. Currant coins respawn the fastest, then XP, then mood & energy, and then favor. There are also respawning bananas and Ix Barbecue there too.
Hopefully I didn't just ruin someone's best kept secret by letting that cat out of the bag ;)
Thanks for clarifying everyone. I have been colllecting max coins for about 6 days that I've been in-game, hoping that this is what the developers meant.
every day I log in, I make sure to go to groddle and load up on coins. takes about 5 minutes of hopping around.
