"Fix: The energy cost of making things..."

Noticed this in the Twitter sidebar thingy: "Fix: The energy cost of making things (cooking, transmogrifying, whatnot) has been made more accurate, according to your level of skillage."

Anyone seeing a difference?

  • Still seem to be a couple of oddities, 40 tangy sauces show up as costing 400 energy but in fact cost 200 with MC2

I can't work out why they would have separate code to calculate the cost for each dialogue box rather than reusing the code that calculates the final cost anyway...

  • Awesome stew has gone down to 9 energy apiece with MC2; previously there was no benefit for MC2 vs MC1

  • @Zin There was a benefit for MC I vs MC II - it's just that the game doesn't recognise that, and requires you to have twice as much energy as you actually need for crafting with MC 2 and most of the other level 2 cooking skills. The correct amount of energy has always been deducted.

  • So, how much energy is it supposed to cost to cook a full load of 40 Awesome Stew with Master Chef II?

  • 360 energy :)

  • 9 each.  The real limiting factor for stews is gathering the beans.  at 20 per a stack of beans is required to make a stack of stew.   Everything else you can grow.
