Blue Raspberry for snow cones, but when it comes to Ice-Cream it has to be the subtle creamy undertones of French Vanilla... it just goes SOOOO well with everything.
oh. i thought we were just talking about sno-cones from the vendor.
i am now very fussy about ice cream since i started making my own.
my current favorites of mine are a dulce de leche flavor and a little thing i call "hot chocolate": it carries so much dark chocolate in it that the custard needs to be egg-stabilized and twice tempered and put through a blender twice to keep it emulsified. it is flavored with cinnamon and coriander and those little dried red peppers. it is so good and sweet and chocolatey you don't even notice the peppers until it slides down your throat and oh, my.
oh, comon, how dare u mention such a classy, taste-smashing, mark-inspiring experience ! Ok, how much is it? I want that choc ice cream of yours, the poem you just wrote there makes me feel like i don´t really wanna miss this!
That choclate is HOT !!!
I just wanna say that sno-balls are so far superior to sno-cones. Really, they are basically made of clean pure snow! Delicious!! (okay, I admit it, I'm trying to move a certain thread farther down the page here)
My homemade standard is currently the salted carmal. Too yummy for words, although that hot chocolate one up there sounds pretty good. I do like the touch of capsaicin with chocolate. Sounds a bit like Mexican hot chocolate.
