Hi,
I just participated in my first rook attack which was scary and cool at the same time :)
However I was woefully unprepared as i hadn't gone any further down the meditation tree than the first slot. I didn't go any further because the description for Martial Imagination put me off:
With Martial Imagination, you can channel the daydreams and musings of nearby Glitches into a powerful stun attack by means of your Focusing Orb. Use it only in self-defence, in cases of extreme danger: imagination is not a toy!
I misunderstood this and thought it was to be used against other Glitches - I wasn't interested in beating on other Glitchen so I didn't go down that route.
I don't know if there are more hints about rooks as you progress in skills but at level 17 all I knew was something about rook eggs being bad. I like to learn within the game and not through forums or wikis and there may be others like me who are missing this key element of the game.
Perhaps I'm just over-eager and getting ahead of myself and I'll learn more in time but maybe a little quest explaining more about the meditation skill line and rook attacks or just a bigger hint that the world(s) might need defending with those skills could be useful.
