The link above will get you to the "New Street" group - join this group and than in the chat box when in game, click on the New Street channel and you will hear all the chatter on new projects and where they are and what is needed to complete the project.
That group is the best thing to get hooked up on Projects.
I am sure this is discussed in that group's forum, but here are some tips:
- If you look at the map, you will sometimes see grayed out streets (usually in regions at the "edges"). These are streets being worked on and not yet open. That "work" is happening at the street spirit (vendor) on an adjacent street.
- Go to a project, click on the vendor and Talk to them. This is the best way to get how it work and get the rhythm of Projects.
- Hang out for while, chat. Don't worry at first about donating/working tons. Try to give a little to see how it functions.
Every test the first thing I do is look for new streets. There is a New Streets Group that should be helpful. You can ask in Live Help about new streets. The latest new area under construction is called Timala. It is on the north side of Bartola. There was one project underway there when the test ended and there should be several more projects to come. Take the sub to malos means in Bartola and then check the map to walk to Timala.
Projects have several phases and can use a number of odd items: foods, drinks, peat, bricks, fireflies, etc. They also require Skills and the use of various tools. It is sometimes hard for low level players to contribute but, in fact, you can. If you do not have the skills you can probably still get some of the items needed such as cherries and meat. You can give these items to other Glitches who have the skills to make them into the required items for the Project.
