For me it depends on whether or not the individual posting is new to Rook Alerts or not. If the Glitch is new I give them leeway, if not I tell them to move to Rook Chat.
What I hate is the knee-jerk response of some of the hot-heads in the group.
What bugs me about this is that people keep it going. I completely understand how a new person might ask if there are attacks, and might say sorry when they are told not to. The appropriate response is for one person to say that the channel should only be used for announcing rook attacks.
After that, everyone should only use the channel for announcing rook attacks. When the channel is used to complain about people not using the channel properly, that is also not announcing a rook attack. Not only is it not helpful because the person probably got the message from one response, but it is actively working against the end you that people are supposedly trying to work towards.
If you are talking in rook alerts, and you are saying anything other than the location of an attack, confirmation of an attack, or indicating that an attack was defeated then you are being "part of the problem," even if you think you are trying to solve the problem.
I 'dislike' forums that 'dislike' other aspects of the game ;-)
OR when neked players knock on your door and you HAVE to let them in to be nice.
OR trolls. I just do not appreciate that fee to cross the bridge.
