I agree with this. It's also annoying when you reshuffle and end up with various sizes of the exact same upgrade. Ex: my last reshuffle all three were energy cap upgrades :\ It would be nice if the same type - or at least the exact same upgrade - wouldn't show up as part of the 3 choices.
I think the easiest thing is to lower the distribution weight on likely-inifinte cards (Brain Capacity, Quoin Multiplier, Energy Tank Cap, etc) compared to single-grab and progress chain cards (Making Metal, Rube's Favorite, Manic Mining I-III, etc). It's not a perfect solution, but again, it should be fairly easy to implement, and I think it'd go a long way to helping clear up people's current problems with the system.
Oh goodness no. Please leave the infinite cards the way they are. I'd hate to have the upgrade cards that I never want to use be more heavily weighted than they are now.
I would love to see the whole deck in the Encyclopedia and work like the Achievement page. That way I could see which ones I have and which ones I can look forward to eventually being dealt.
Or maybe someone could make a Greasemonkey script as a workaround. I would, but alas I do not have the right computer skills.
+1. Almost every time I shuffle I get at least one of the same cards again. Also, I often get a whole set of cards similar to the ones I refused... for example, if I turn down a card about gardening, I reshuffle and get three more gardening cards. Grrr.
