New Map Design

I like it a lot but...
For Groddle Meadow, the contrast between the icons and the green of the trees should be greater. Some of them are almost invisible.

  • I like the new maps too.

Compare them to the old ones here: http://www.glitch-strategy.com/wiki/Region (by clicking on a region, then the image of the map and see the past versions)

  • I think they are pretty but, not very clear, so yes, caley, I agree about the contrast.  Right now, the definition is a little fuzzy and, for anyone with poor sight, must be pretty difficult to read.

However, I love love love the new award badges:P

  • I feel exactly the same way. I love the new look but they lost out in the way of function and readability

  • I like the new maps, but the indicator for the street when you search isn't very visible. More contrast for the found street name, or flashing lights, or something, please

  • From the official twitter feed @PlayGlitch "Give it a little time: the old icons on the new maps won't be there for long (and soon vendor/shrine info will be searchable)."

  • I like the idea iof having geographical features on the new maps, but I have to say in general I find the old-style maps much easier to read. I gather there will be changes to icons/vendors so the overall 'readability' may be improved then. Sometimes simpler is better?

  • I love the highlighting and all of the new maps. The ease of use is greatly improved. However, I don't feel the need to have the topography on them. Its a bit distracting.
