Upgrade card to reduce energy/mood, please?

Is there any way that cards to reduce the maximum energy bar (and thus the maximum mood) could be added?  It says in the FAQ that there are no cards that produce negative effects, but having too much mood is actually a negative effect.  Now I know it's my fault that I got over excited about the new upgrade feature and I just started buying energy upgrades for the sole purpose of getting to upgrade cards I actually wanted like "Overachiever I" etc...  but I would be willing to pay more imagination to reduce my energy/mood cap. I'm sure others would be willing to do this as well since I know I'm not the only one who feels lower mood is a benefit.

At the very least, could we get a mood cap reduction card?

  • Well, at least I was right in assuming I'm not the only one that would like something like this ^_^

  • Or they could just decrease how FAST mood and energy decrease.... and not base it on how big your tank is!

  • That would be nice as well, Hersche.  It would be nice if maybe the mood depletion was a set number no matter the player level.  Otherwise, what's the benefit of having more mood?  Right now 1500 mood is not more beneficial than 500.  In fact, I'd say 500 mood is more beneficial since both lose a set percent but 500 is easier to replenish :P

At least if it were a constant number depletion for each level, mood increase would be a benefit and not just a hindrance.

  • Yes, I'd love some way to undo my energy (because of my mood) tank increases. The problem with such a high mood tank is that your mood drops by a percentage but the actions that you do which give 'good' mood boosts are pretty negligent when you have the higher energy tanks. I used to not have to think too much about my mood while harvesting and gathering because I always pet, water, massage etc so that my mood took care of itself a lot of the time. Now my mood drops much faster than any worker action can keep up with. So while in the past I only had to drink large amounts of milk, drinks or buffers when doing tasks like mining or crafting (or poisoning o_O) etc I now have to bring bags of drinks with me or go to Ancestrals to get my mood up. Though my favorite method is to die if my mood goes too low so I use a get out of hell card and get a free refill - this seems to be the best way to take advantage of the high tanks. But I don't like to allow my mood go so low. Even meditation doesn't give enough to balance the effect of the percentage it goes down. I can drink, ruminate and run the Ancestrals for mood but its not as much fun as it was to try to keep it up by the actions I chose to do. I'm not by any means saying the game itself is not as much fun just this one aspect  ... I love Gltich and the fluid nature of it

  • Many people seem to be unaware of this, but Amorous Philtre is a percentage-based mood restorer, which is very useful for those big tanks. Increases your mood by 10%, however much that is.

  • Larky, thanks so much for that info Amorous Philtre. I had never really used them. They work out really good for mood.

Thanks Tiny Speck for the new mood upgrades! (as well as the other upgrades too!)
