Questions About the New Houses...

Ok, I don't get on Glitch much and haven't been on in a long time, so sorry if I sound dumb.
I've heard about the feature of new houses that will be added soon and have a few questions:
1. When will this feature be activated?
2. When it is, what happens to all the currants we spent on our current houses? It took me forever to get 50,000 currants for the house I'm currently in and I really hope that wasn't all a waste.
Thanks for the help! :D

  • How long ago did you buy the house?  New housing has been out for over a month.

    Type /home in local chat.

You will be compensated, in some manner, for your current house.

  • 1. I am not so sure what "feature" which you speak of but if it is when ALL the updates are applied, any day now!  Most likely next week or so.  :)
    2. Your currants will be put into, as the staff members put it, "a moving box."  Your house too, will be put as currants into the moving box.

Great job on buying such a good house at your level!  I am sure that you are going to be a successful glitchen.  :D
I am pretty sure that I got these answers right!  Someone who knows more correct me if I am wrong.  :)

  • 1. There are new houses right now for testing!  Type "/home" in your chat window to visit it and get used to it before the switch over.

    2. We will all be compensated for our old houses when we have the final switch over, which will occur in roughly a week, maybe more.

    3. And for the question you didn't ask, everything you own will be put into moving boxes for you!

  • There are currently testing the new housing system. (type "/home" to see yours) They haven't said specifically when they are going to phase out the old housing but they have said there will be some kind of credit for your old house. If you're really worried about it, you could sell....

ETA: LOL! I must have hit reply about the same time everyone else was hitting "post"
