Poutine!!! Support the cause.

As a Canadian player, I am proposing we lobby TS for the addition of poutine as a food item in the game. Potato + cheese + meat (for gravy). Let's have us some poutine!

  • Or maybe a new sauce = gravy.

And for the American players we can just call it "disco fries" :D

  • Potato + cheese + wavy gravy.  Absolutely.

  • :( Also, now I want cheese fries with gravy, as I live in the US and have no access to poutine.

  • As another USian in favor of Canadian specialties, I'd like to add smoked meat to the cause.

  • I'm Canadian living in England and love Poutine.  You'll never find it over here though unless you make it yourself.  Chips and gravy here lmao.   Hope they do bring it into the game!

  • I am British and this all sounds like something completely insane! The Scottish have deep fried chocolate bars, that is bad enough :-D lol

  • Hey hey now, I'm an American, I would never call poutine "disco fries". Barely anyone even calls nightclubs "discos" in this country anymore!

And how about a French Dip? Or to make it a little Glitchier, a Freedom Dip?

  • @Casarat: you can get poutine in London's Trafalgar Square on Canada Day!

  • I've been craving Welsh Rarebit - thepioneerwoman.com/cooking... - lately and it could use a bunch of things we already have in game: beer, cheese, red pepper, mustard, all served over a bun....mmm....

  • Um, I am not sure that Welsh Rarebit should be liquid on toast :-S Being a Welsh person myself, I am pretty sure it is glorified cheese on toast. But if it is nice, who cares? :-D

  • Chips, cheese and gravy is pretty popular in the northern party of England! I served it enough to people during my crappy University job to know that!

    Hungry now...

  • Oh yes that is a very northern thing. Also popular in Wales. I love how your typo was "northern party of England" - so cool if it was like that :-D

  • Om nom nom nom!!!

Also, in my personal opinion the recipes need some rebalancing overall, and I think the general direction should be to buff (improve % increase in energy) them overall. Adding new ones would be really fun, particularly if they were bonuses for making 41 or so of the current top recipes.

  • I am sorry, Becca Rice, but whatever that is on the Pioneer Woman's site it is not, no way, Welsh Rarebit!

Proper Welsh Rarebit is toasted cheese on toast.  Maybe with the addition of mustard, Worcester sauce, tomato ketchup or similar, but never some kind of cheese sauce, running off the toast and not toasted under the grill like that pic!

    That is just a travesty!

  • Yes to poutine from another Canadian! Disco fries? In what area of the US is it called that? That's a hoot!

  • The recipe for Poutine must include Guano in order for it to be Franco-phonically correct.

  • Eating poutine should give La Grenouille buff causing you to hop when you move.
