Light Green Thumb III is probably the one I most use, along with teleportation :)
The bonuses from harvesting are fantastic and being able to get to places fast is also great :)
I've notice that I rarely seem to use the skills in the middle of the skills tree, so I'll most probably leave those cooking and mining skills to the very last after the reset.
not sure. I used to be a big miner, but now I'm working more on getting badges and working on projects, which require many diff skills. I guess cooking skills are my fave, since I do that the most for projects.
irl- procrasti.... ah whatever. I'll respond to that later.
not a lot Beanieo. I only smelted to do the quests and now if a project needs it.
I've become a real Glitch nerd- I made a list with tables showing different categories and what the requirements and benefits are. Now I'm picking out the order for after reset. smelting will go toward the bottom of the list.
beanieo- possibly. never really thought about it as a way to earn currants. mostly mining is a way to earn currants in itself. selling gems and large amounts of rock can generate some pretty good income. I've also recently discovered I can sell the bazillion musicblocks I find to vendors, which adds up.
Many skills are certainly useful, but I enjoy cooking and creating powders, so I'll say Intermediate Admixing and Master Chef.
I think those skills encourage me to gather resources and create something useful out of them, I feel a purpose, instead of just wandering about the Glitch world.
ximinez... i am now inspired to finish AK. that is amazing.
edit: @beanio, i know a lot just sell shiney, but i liked making molybdenum from smelted ingots. i also used the compounds from ground-up shiney. so if you want, i can show you how i do it in game next time it's up.
Actually Beanieo, you really only just over double the metal ore value if you smelt it and sell to a tool vendor. 50 ore @ 2 currants = 100; 50 ore = 10 ingots @ 24 currants = 240. It is better than straight ore, but you still get more mining beryl @ 5 currants or sparkly @ 6 currants without the energy expenditure of smelting. Now if you combine smelting with turning the metal ingots into tin, copper or molybdenum, now you are talking...some good returns, but again, more energy expenditure for changing the ingots. I still like to convert the ore into ingots though...gives me something else to do other than just swinging a pick all day long, especially since there always seems to be plenty of metal rocks around and sometimes beryl or sparkly can be harder to come by if you aren't in the deeps.
This is a tough question...not sure I have one favorite skill. I like the mining and cooking skills for fun, but AK and the various gardening, croppery, LGT, etc are necessary to make the game play easier; and getting teleportation early is helpful for moving around quickly. Though maybe Bureaucratic Arts I for getting my papers so I can buy a house is maybe my favorite? I like having a house.
oh yeah- TP. I use that one so much it feels like second nature. I've commented that should be one of the skills I learn right away after reset (next to learning how to make no-no) so I won't have to walk everywhere. that's gonna be hard.
I'm not sure which is my favourite.. Teleporting is definetly high on the list but so is making powders, cooking, gardening, mining... sigh... I dont think I could choose one exact skill.....
