More drugs

No-No and Purple are entertaining-- but I think you can stand at least one more kind of drug.

What about drugs which take Glitches on hallucinatory journeys to imaginary locations-- move the glitch to a strange screen filled with really weird stuff? Or drugs which cause glitches to see things which aren't normally there? What about NPCs, like pink elephants, which the player can only see or talk to if they are high? If you ask me, the current effect that Purple has is pretty weak. It could be a lot more interesting if the 'trip' itself were more interesting or complicated.

  • +1... I don't actually screw around with no-no, because it's not really that interesting to me. I'll munch some purp every now and then, but, yeah, if it was more involved and hallucinatory, it would be a lot cooler. It'd probably also be a massive pain to the devs, though, all those tripping Glitches in what would likely be instanced freakouts.

  • If you can make drinks to boost your mood after a nono crash, it's actually pretty useful when mining or grinding elements, particularly if your skills in those levels are low enough that the energy costs are prohibitive. I use it daily.

    Glitches could make their own short-term performance-enhancing pills. Similar to cocktails, but w different abilities and a visual element as well a la Purple?

  • maybe make a pill that fixes you mood at a really high level for a short while and gives better bonuses from music blocks. but after it wears off decreases your mood to 0 for a longer duration then the buff.
