Make Bags Sellable

I recently wanted to replace all my small bags, that I got when I was first starting out, with large ones.  Upon emptying the small one in to a new big one, I was dismayed that the only thing I could do with the small one was drop it on the ground.  It would be nice to be able to sell them back to vendors or at least to be able to donate them to shrines.  Feels like such a waste otherwise.

  • +1 at the very least, let us donate to shrines.  Help us keep Ur clean.  These bags aren't biodegradable you know.

  • Last night I filled an old bag with a few cherries, grain, eggs and some other basics and made a welcome basket and handed it off to a new arrival.

Wasn't worth anything but it meant a LOT to the new glitchy and led to a long and interesting conversation....

  • Yes, please fix this. If nothing else the description on the generic bags should make it clear that they can't be sold, auctioned, or donated.  Right now it's a nasty surprise to people trying to upgrade because the bag shows a value of 900 currants and there is no indication you can't sell it.

  • Apathy, yes it's good to be giving, but that still doesn't solve the issue.  I went around last night handing out orange juice and sammiches to the first 10 glitches I saw in newbie areas.  A kept the bag because I knew dropping it would lead to a greedy glitch taking the whole bag and handing it to one lucky glitch would just recycle the problem.  There's still no way of getting rid of it.  Now you can say "pay it forward" but I call it "kicking the can down the road".  We're just passing off an item we can't get rid of to someone else.  There needs to be a way to get rid of it.  Either let us sell it to a vendor or at the very least, let us donate to a shrine.  I mean, Giants accept all kinds of junk.  Why not a bag?

  • +1 - and I would like this to happen to all the containers too. I thought it was a bug at first and was very surprised to find out it was designed that way!
