I do my fox brushing and metal mining in Alakol -- ever since invites reopened, there has been a steady stream of low level players coming into my normal haunts.
I just did a shout out on global, that kind of worked. I suspect some are staying close to home as they get settled in. Found some level 5's in Groddle hights
wonder if there is a way to find the streets of players based on how new they are? There are a lot of low level players that are simply inactive but it would be nice to pay a welcome visit to new players who are active in the game.
I'm actually sad. I've been totally ignored even when I posted in global that I was still lvl 5 if anyone needed to finish the quest. My sister that gave me the invite today set me up nice with food, etc. but I'm just a tad disappointed to not even meet anyone.
burop! send doughnuts. also: build teleport skills, it makes getting places a LOT (lots and lots) easier... especially if you dont have a lot of other skills yet, makes learning them a breeze. t3 is good, t5 is best - then you can go mining easily, hit cebarkul/spices in Ix and groddle forest for meat....
For what its worth, I've been putting up cheap stuff I have lying around in my inventory - I mean pinches of salt, single vegetables, keys, etc - up for auction at cheaper prices than you would get them at a vendor.
As I guessed, they're being snapped up by noobs who find the auctions more convenient than finding the right vendor. Its my way of helping them, anyways.
