[confirmed] Cost of multiple-use items

Okay. I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it is highly exploitable if not.

Items such as powders can be sold for the same price, regardless of how many times they've been used. This means you can take, for instance, sneezing powder, use it 4 times and then sell it on, without losing any money. It would make more sense if the selling price was reduced with each use.

The same goes for picks. If I remember correctly I sold my pick which had 0 uses left for the full selling price.

  • Yeah, that's probably something we'll need to work out a fix for. Good call, TGDT.

  • You also can't tell at the Auctions if they were used up or not.

  • @Jjjon - I thought this was fixed. The auctions for this powder (may not still be there when you read this) list the item name and then below the item name in parentheses it shows (5/5), and I think that when someone auctions off a powder that has already seen some use that it would show (1/5) (3/5) etc.

    Can anyone confirm this?

  • TCF, powder usage is now indicated on auction listings but broken tools and partially used tools are listed the same as new tools.
