BS! Me thinks Shakespeare did not know of what he spoke; it's just sorrow.
This message is directed at the Tiny Speck folks who I affectionately call "The Giant Imaginations of Ur" aka Glitch.
I have played countless Flash games. Glitch is without question the best Flash game I've ever played, for a variety of reason. There are two main reasons; maintenance and originality.
Glitch is the most highly maintained maintained Flash game I've ever played; PERIOD. Oh sure, there were a few bumps in the road, but even then Tiny Speck nipped them in the bud quickly. I've played Flash games that were offline for days not to mention in game problems that never, never seemed to ever get fixed. Glitch is the most highly maintained, smoothest running Flash game I've ever played; EVER. And I've played a few.
And Glitch whether the old Ur or the new Ur is the most unique game I've ever played, Flash or otherwise. It is certainly the first Flash game I've ever played where I did not have to kill something or someone; how refreshing. And I loved the goals aspect instead of wandering around aimlessly trying to find someone or something to Kill.
I don't know all the Tiny Speck names like some do, but I will miss Tiny Speck and Ur very much. I hope you will be kind enough to keep out email addresses and keep us informed about what you are doing.
I first learned of Glitch on "facebook" from a FB friend, of course. I recently disassociated my Glitch account with my FB account since I am no longer a FB member. Some of the Flash games I've played were on FB; with some exception, in the long run, the games I played on FB were among the worst Flash games I ever played in terms of redundancy and terrible maintenance. I left FB months ago. But while I was on FB I tried to get many, many people interested in Glitch. Unfortunately they weren't even willing to see what I see in Glitch. They had their noses too far up those crappy FB games; they deserve them. So, I have advertised Glitch a great deal; I wish I was more successful.
And I wish that I could have supported Tiny Speck more than I have. But like Tiny Speck my financial standing has not been doing all that well for the past few years. November just happens to be a very tight month for me and I was forced to cancel my monthly subscription. I'm sure that one action did not make the difference, but I do wish I could have supported you even more than I did. Glitch is worth it.
And while I can use any little bit of extra money, especially this month, as far as I'm concerned I got everything I paid for and as far as I'm concerned you owe me not one penny; NOT ONE! The little bit of subscription money you received from me was no where near what I received from this first class game name Glitch. The OUTSTANDING maintenance is worth much more than I ever sent you.
You OWE me NOTHING!
I wish I could do more after all you've given me.
All I have left to say is two things.
I will miss Tiny Speck, Glitch, Ur, The Giants, and even the Pests (Butterflies, Pigs, & Chickens) VERY MUCH! And all the things I know I didn't mention.
Last but not least; YOU OWE ME NOTHING! I'm quite sure I owe you.
Thank you, for the best danged game I've ever played, on a lot of different levels.
