Time Manipulator Skill + Time Manipulator Device

(I fully admit this was inspired by my own story.)

The Time/Device and Skill could probably be used in many ways. Three stand out to me right now.

Speed Up: Can decrease the time of certain things. Like tree or crop growth. Or shorten cool down periods. Obviously these would have to be off set by high energy costs. (Since cool downs are a balancing thing, the potential for this throwing things out of whack might be too great.

Reset: Reset daily limits (koins, tree harvesting, piggy nibbling). Again the cost would have to be big but this would have less of a chance to be game breaking. Also Reset itself would have to have a daily limit (if not a 'weekly' one).

Regression: This could be used to return things to their 'original' state. Piggies into piglets with can be picked up. Or piglets into eggs. Trees into beans. Or meals into their component recipe parts. And, yet again, an energy cost would be needed. Perhaps the device even needs fuel for all this stuff.

  • +1! I have no idea how to implement something that sounds like sucks grand undertaking, but it's a really cool idea.

  • By the way (reading this two days later), that was supposed to say "such" not "sucks". Typos like that are the result of quick typing on a smartphone on a five-hour bus trip.

Still think this is a cool idea!

  • Folderol, I either didn't notice or read it as meaning "an undertaking that would be difficult and suck up a lot of time." So is my reading comprehension in the middle of a weekend long of wedding festivities. (No, not mine.)

  • Folderol,  you can edit your posts to correct typos like that.

  • @Windborn Haha, I of course figured that out right after posting. Nonetheless it gave me the opportunity to reiterate that I think it's a cool idea.

@Lord Bacon-o, you've got lots of really cool ideas, and I find it fascinating that this idea suggestion is potentially going to weave in to the story that you're writing, which is fantastic. Hopefully our apparently mutual dyslexia won't affect it negatively! I'm excited to read more as the story develops!
