@MaryLiLamb, and then I switched to finish up BL5 and it's now Lem, Cosma and Ti for me. So pretty much Lem and Cosma have had most of my lovin' lately:) Speaking of which...
Hmmm, let's see how many variations Pepper_Rose can come up with for the word 'soon'...I think my fav from a previous game is still..."in a little bit, but not right now"...or something to that effect.
Soon, right around the corner, it's almost time, wait just a little bit more, about to start...Aaaargh! none of these are good enough as game is 'OPEN'. But they keep us busy with anticipation and when the game opens makes my inner glitch jump high with joy (no need of spinach for inner glitch).
I hope you guys realize how hard the developers work to get the game open, and that it IS in testing and they open it when will best benefit the game, not the testers...not speaking to anyone in particular, just putting that out there.
I'd just like to reiterate what Cupcake just said. I write software for a living, and well know that the world view of testers and developers isn't always that well-aligned. The only reason any of us are here is to support the developers in their quest to build a product that is ready for market. It is their schedules and priorities that will determine when the game opens, not ours. We should respect that.
Of course, once we leave beta and launch, then that's a whole new story...
Our job is so much easier. No deadlines, no detailed writing or inventing or painting, etc. We just get in there and break things while having a good time. I am always amazed at all that goes into making even the simplest of games. I have little idea how much goes into an MMO that must constantly change, improve, add, fix, create, etc. to keep a large population happy and amused. It boggles my tiny brain and I really appreciate it all!

OK, you can ease off the constant refreshing for at least the next 18 hours: we'll open the next test session tomorrow: Thursday afternoon, Pacific time.
