I agree with Bruja, Aranna's landscape when you get close to the snowy mountains is so beautiful. In my opinion a lot of the northern areas could be amazing to view if they didn't have suck a dull light shining on them. I think that's what I like about Aranna the best, my red skin and a nice glow while I'm there because of the lighting.
I also have to give recognition to the southern areas. All of them have great detail and I personally think the background music is very soothing while I'm walking around.
I really like the glowing ponds (and little firey eggs) around Shimla Mirch, but my favorite street is a little swamp street with what looks like a hobo campsite in the middle -- inviting campfire, row of hanging lanterns... where are you?!? (not visible in any of the snapshots, and I've forgotten, ack!!)
Oh Leites!! I just recently discovered that bridge as well! I stopped in my tracks and admired the view. And I LOVE walking over the log! (can't remember what street it is)
That's the one! thanks, shakha -- I was using the wiki, which doesn't have entries for any of the streets in Kalavana, and I haven't found a chance to get over there again recently. yay!
Pirate Apples is of course talking about Koumbahm Bahm. The land bridge and height differences in Rasana has created many beautiful vertical streets that are definitely worth checking out.
If you go all the way to the left side of Bhadra Pada, you find that you're standing on a cliff's edge with a river snaking its way through a gorge in the background. It's really pretty.
I love this thread. Full street views allow you to really see the detail and love put into some of these locations. Rasana and Aranna are my favorites. I would post the links to specific streets but I don't know how...
Ortolana really is a wonderland for those who love blue hues. I hope that they build housing there, I would love to come back to that beauty every time I go home!
Also I forgot to mention Ozacosta Avenue in GF, there's owl eyes in the trees and an Ent-like tree along with dozens and dozens of mushrooms! I also like the rainbow view from the trees in Briarset Croft.
If you have Eyeballery, check out the view in Annam Angst -- I love seeing the twisty savanna-climate brain-trees through the openings in the cave walls! :)
I love all of Rasanna...moved there expressly for the views! And, 2 days after moving, they changed the music, and now, I doubt I'll ever leave! So many beautiful things, too many to list here!
Bhadra Pada has some especially fine views from the precipice at the end of the street!
I'm fond of the oldest parts of the map: I especially love the transition from "dark Ix" to "light Ix" (or as I wish it, from "spicy Ix" to "a little bit gassy Ix") through the crack in the sky at the top of the platform in Guillermo Gamera Way.
