Flavors

We have spices, but I've noticed a distinct lack of CHOCOLATE here. As well as vanilla and such.

I'd suggest making a tappable tree for syrup, but we have ENOUGH tree insanity.  Instead, how about wells that we can harvest from? They can offer up a generic syrup which can be converted into different flavors like chocolate, vanilla, birch, honey, nut flavors, etc.

A recipe idea: Use the saucepan, chocolate syrup, milk, and butter to make chocolate bars, which can be put on the cutting board to make chocolate chips (and those used in baking in the aforementioned Freezy bake oven!).

Fruits can be added to the base syrup in the saucepan to make fruity syrups.

  • I love this idea! You could also make birch syrup from it, too, instead of always having to buy it from Grocery vendors!

Would we be able to make birch syrup too?

  • Rory: Yes, whether it's a flavor you create with a flavor changing device, or the birch syrup is the default flavor (like allspice). I'm a HUGE fan of finding creative ways to make all items harvestable instead of having to get them from the vendors. I think it makes for a better game economy. I also posted about getting honey and salmon in another thread :)
