Just now my butterflies started complaining about being crowded and we're lying on the floor of my house. I had about 8 butterflies, I had to set 6 free before the complaining stopped. Is this something new?
Nope, I had that happen too. The chickens and pigs will also do that, have seen it in the publc garden. Not sure what the math is for "too many" on what size space.
You can ignore the complaining. In a short while the complaining will cease. It was a big mistake to set them free. They over-react and can be ignored.
There's also lag between release and them stopping the complaints. It takes a few minutes, so it's better to release one and wait awhile before releasing another, if they are truly crowded. Sometimes animals seem to complain even when the street isn't crowded and they eventually stop.
