  • I'm not certain these exist in Ur anymore. Much like the hard drive thingy, I dunno they survived the various resets. Maybe they'll bring em back.

What I want... the spigot. I swear there's honey in those bean tree!

  • There are some plates of beans in the game world.

But I imagine the price would be insane.

  • In the world, Bacon-o, or in the inventory of a long dormant account?
If the 'going' offer for a Glitchmas Yeti is upwards of 10M, I don't even wanna think about that a plate of beans would go for, should one be found. (Cause I assume your is staying safe in a box)
ETA: Glad to know they survived : )

  • Oh, I would not call my account "long dormant."
But, no. They are not floating around out there. PoB's were a one joke off a blog post and have never been readily available in the world. Like SB-1s and the like.

    Also want a damn pony.

  • Not so long ago I offered 7M for one and a dusty stick (worth 5M? now)...and nope.
Now I am down to 1,5M and let it go. You can't have it all!

    I want an alpaca ;-)

  • Would you know what to do with a pony? If I get you a pony, can I have your plate of beans? I mean we've got a pony... she's awfully cute and great with kids, but she lives in NC.

  • They were only given to members of the metafilter group, along with a small number of other people who just happened to be around at the time.  They are an in-joke, and probably not worth much to people who aren't part of metafilter (in other words, you may be sorely disappointed if you trade your other rare items away for one).  You can see what they do here

  • What did SB-1's sound like? I wish I was playing back when all these things were going on.. like glitchmas/yeti, SB-1s, plates of beans, funpickles, street project trophies, and all this other stuff you can't get today or ever again. I just wasn't told about this game in time.

The only discontinued commodity that's occurred during the time I've been playing this game would be the spoiled strawberry seeds.

  • Here's the SB-1's mp3.  They are supposedly available via bonus drop, but the chance of getting one is so absurdly small that it has probably never happened.  They are also given to players by staff once in a while, and while they didn't survive resets, some players have re-obtained them from staff.  Street project trophies did survive the reset, but we weren't told ahead of time that they would; however, unassembled pieces of trophies were not preserved.

  • Thanks glum. I really hope they let us get street project trophies again, I mean restoring broken cultivation objects on home streets are supposedly, from what I heard, the same process that street projects in Ur were like. I want the shiny Urth ball thingie.

  • I believe I know someone who got an SB-1 as a drop over the weekend, though I have also put forth the alternate theory that since he was hanging around and chatting with the personal play time alt of a staff member, that staff member might have been super sneaky and logged on to the normal staff avatar and sent it ninja style.

    Quite likely a drop though.
