Many Crashes in Andra

I played this morning, Sept. 22, from about 1AM until 6:40 AM EST More or less.  My Goal was to travel as many streets and blocks as I could.  I finished in Aranna, Muufo, Shimla and did part of Choru.  I may have done one or two others.  In Andra I had 3 or 4 crashes in which the server was lost.  There were two Flash crashes and one of those offered me a Flash Crash report form.  Another crash had an "Invalid Token Error".  When entering the first block in the Sinalu Shreds Qtr., I arrived to find no houses, only the landscape and street sign.  Almost immediately there was a crash and I reloaded.  A reload brought the game back and my Glitch was right where she was before the crash and the houses were there.

Multiple crashes in Andra was very tiresome and I was glad to arrive in Salatu where I visited a number of streets and blocks with no problems.  Before Andra, my battery "died" and would not recharge.  I bought it last week.  I plugged in the power cord and was able to continue playing where I left off.  After about 30 min. the battery began to work again.  So, apart from the crashes in Andra, my only problem was with my battery.  I was concerned that there had been some damage to my aging laptop that had caused the problems in Andra.  Now I feel that the battery problem probably had no connection to the crashes in Andra.

This morning's play was difficult and frustrating but I enjoyed it just the same and visited many locations despite the multiple crashes in Andra.  I hope that I might get in some more play before the closing.  Thank you for the fun I had and I hope this information might be helpful to you.

  • Heya Brib Annie! The game wouldn't have caused any hardware failures for you, that was most likely an unfortunate coincidence. Sorry for the token error disconnects; there may have been some problems connecting to the game in a couple of instances like that; if you open an in-game bug report after you it comes back, we'll still get some information from the web client in the browser.

  • Thanks kev!  No, I did not think the game caused my hardware failure.  I did suspect that maybe my hardware failure had something to do with my server disconnects.  That maybe the battery was still not charging or that the power was intermittent.  However, the more server disconnects and Flash crashes I got, I came to feel that there was something funny happening in Andra.  No problems before or after Andra.  The whole thing may have just been a weird fluke.  It happened so fast that I never could push the "Bug" button.  When things started working again, I was no longer thinking of anything but playing, I was so relieved to be able to move on.
