Collecting all the Musicblocks in a Collection Should Not Remove all the Musicblocks

I liked the music in my DR collection. T_T

Alternatively, we should be allowed to move trophies (or copies of them) into our backpack.

  • I wish they would just stack...One block, with an interface to..pick the numbered tune you want to play...

  • Once you have collected all of something and it's been compressed into it's teeny tiny trophy format, I suppose you could also just collect them all over again. I know that sounds like a pain, but at least you wouldn't imperil your trophy if somehow you lost or for some reason gave away one of the trophy collection.

  • On a different note: increasing the line-height of would make the topic headline look better.

  • "Alternatively, we should be allowed to move trophies (or copies of them) into our backpack."

    i think that's the ticket.

  • +1 for what striatic said.

Similarly, it should apply to 'Seasoned beans' - one little icon that opens up a 'fan' of the other beans (if you have them).

  • a bean bag, but a regular bag would work better.

  • +1 for bean bags

  • Bean bags would cut inventory slots compared to generic bags which was why I discounted my own suggestion. If there are going to be 10 types of beans later, thumbs up.

  • My +1 was for the name "bean bags".

  • How about a Bag Bag too? ^^

  • +1 definitely (but mainly the 'Not to delete music blocks when collected all of them' part).

  • When you complete a collection, have a yes/no choice whether you want to trade it for a trophy. At worst, you'd have to drop and pick up one when you're ready to trade.

  • +1 to the last suggestion!

  • We're going through the collections and making some decisions on which ones you'll get to keep once you have all items, and which ones you'll lose. Tell us what you think - it's on the discussion table now!

  • gems since they're mostly about cash i'd say its ok to turn gems into something.

music blocks have some other in game uses, so i can see people wanting to hold onto them (or be more annoyed if they magically disappeared on you as a result of getting the last one unexpectedly)

i don't know any others to comment, but i think this is a good line to draw - if you need to use something for something else at least ask before converting it.

  • If music blocks were as easy to get as gems, there shouldn't be much objection to their being converted into trophies.

  • Collecting a set of music blocks should turn it into a media center for your house. Sort of the same concept as a trophy but useful. Then you can select different music to play (and later on, streaming videos through Tiny Speck's kick-ass cross-marketing with a media provider like Netflix :-), especially cool if you host parties at your place.

  • I have mixed feelings about streaming videos or Pandora or whatnot in one's house. I see the appeal, but somehow the idea of walking into someone's house and seeing a minute version of "The Hangover" playing on a tiny screen would jar me right out of the carefully crafted game atmosphere and not in a good way....

....although, that does make me think how hilarious it would be if you were a no-no powder user and you died, and when you came back, there was a tiger in your house, and all your animals were gone.

  • Well, that video part was sort of a joke, though I'd like the idea of some sort of non-annoying cross-marketing that would reduce subscription fees. Real Clamato and Foreman grills anyone?
