Piggies feeling crowded... moving to a bigger house?

I have 15 piggies in my house and they are feeling crowded... is there anyway to put more piggies in without making them feel crowded? Or, is 15 the limit of each type of animal, regardless of the size of houses?

  • I upgraded to the 50k house recently.  Now I have 19 pigs in the pen.  And I am wondering...  can I put a second and maybe a third group of pigs with feeder and collector on the other two levels of my house? Will the feeder and meat collector be nerfed if I do that, or will they operate as separate production operations?

  • I'd love for someone to explain how to set up my house (50k) for maximum meat production while not having to visit more than one per real day.  How many pigs, how many feeders, and how many collectors?

  • This is probably the kind of thing you just have to experiment with to find out the answer.

  • 19 pigs? Wow. How many collectors do you have set up?

I have something like 10 pigs with four collectors, and they fill up overnight.

  • Pig abusers! I feel sad about your piggy conditions. Perhaps GETA should get involved.

  • I'm confused. I thought they took away the multiple collectors thing? Or allowed only one extra? If they still have it, I need to go out and buy more collectors ASAP!

  • They added it back in. I have 4 going strong. I think there is a limit, but I would have to dig through the forums to find out what it is.

  • Ok. I found the original note from TS. It just says that efficiencies will decrease if you have more collectors, so I am not sure what the upper limit is.

So, ok- we hear you on the collector changes! Here is the modified plan:

    • One collector of one type is active at a time; when it is full, the extra goods will overflow to the next collector. (Not to two collectors, just one!)
    • You can have any amount of milkers and collectors in the yard, however there will be a percentage of failures to collect in a time period as you increase the number of collectors there! Efficiencies will decrease.
    • Meat collectors can now accumulate 60 meat and the Butterfly milker can accumulate 80 bottles, which is what the stack size is in your inventory.
•Those Butterfly milkers? They are valuable, right? So, they are now 400 currants to purchase.

  • What works for me is ten butterflies with six milkers (one in pen, five in yard by house) and twenty piggies with eleven meat collectors (one in pen, ten in yard by house). when the collectors in the pen are full, they overflow into the ones by the house and I just collect from there. Don't forget to also pet and nibble your piggies by hand because that's where the bonus harvest can really help your numbers. And yes, the collectors outside the pen near the house really do work.
