Did you miss the grand New Year's Eve party?

If you did, check the auction house for some of the notes that were written by over 200 Glitchens who were able to attend. Some really cool things about 2011 and 2012 were notated!!!

  • EDIT: ALL NOTES HAVE BEEN RETURNED.

    I REPEAT:
    ALL NOTES HAVE BEEN RETURNED

(Original Post)You stole our notes, and are trying to sell them for 500 or more currants a pop? Those were supposed to remain on the ground for the rest of the day. Since, you know... the party was NOT over?

  • Even I think this is a little opportunistic and in bad faith.

  • I agree with Wyrd, and Flowerry Pott .....
You picked up the notes -I am pretty sure most all Glitches that wrote them intended them to stay there until thru New Yeras Day . I am also pretty sure they did not intend for you to try to auction them off for profit. high profit no less. bad form is an understatement.

I hope that all the 200 note writers will follow Vegan Zombie's example and file an abuse report.

  • Sorry but THAT makes u a real asshat!! D: I have no words for this!

  • Oh, I wasnt looking to start any trouble here. I was just letting those who were not able to attend the event that they can obtain memories of it and where they can get them.

Figured, by the time people who are sleeping or in other parts of the world get on, those notes will have already been gone from people reading them. This way, if they really did want to be involved, but just could not be online at the time they can still vicariously be a part of the event.

I would hate for others to miss out on a wonderful party. Thats all.

  • Wow, I was unable to attend but how tacky can some people get? Sorry I hope you get nothing and people are smart enough not to touch those on auction with a 100 foot pole.

  • When you read a note it stays where it's placed.

  • And of course 999c is a reasonable price for the service you are giving to the Glitch community... Dood, withdraw the auctions, put the notes back.

  • I filed an abuse report and so should everyone who has put a note there! this is just the meanest thing ever -_-

  • Thank you, please edit the Original Post and put it really bold ALL NOTES HAVE BEEN RETURNED. That way you don't keep getting flak for it. I know it seems a bit odd to place it here, hope you have a happy new year.

  • For history, here's the original OP announcing the auction of over 200 notes left by people who were participating in the Unnu Slights event mentioned  in this thread

  • @windborn why do we need this for history? They said they were sorry and put it all back. Is this really necessary?
Posted 12 months ago by DamitaJo Subscriber! | Permalink
  • They may be doing the same thing with cubis from the model home commune, so...
    http://www.glitch.com/forum/general/14838/

    I think it's worth noting.

  • Hoodjack took the notes, put them on auction, made this post, realized his error, and fixed the problem.  Ive known him to be up-front and honest about all of his dealings, whether popular actions or not.  He has a TON of cubis because these are what are leftover from opening boxes. No need to assume that he was responsible for their theft.

  • I very much appreciate him putting the notes back.  later I met him in Unnu Slight and he seemed to be a likeable person.  He was not collecting notes.  I went to the top and saw a beautiful sight - many, many notes and gifts.

  • Why would anyone file an abuse report about some guy taking notes to sell? There is no abuse here in any way. He picked up notes, and put them on auction, without ever breaking the guidelines or TOS. There was no abuse to report in the first place, was there? Just because someone does something that you don't like doesn't mean they are not allowed to do it. It's fair game!

  • Oh man if we're now reporting everything that's less than classy I have a few wood trees in my yard that are always a little too happy to see me, if you know what I mean. *nudge nudge*
