Yeah I understand others have sticky fingers... I just was curious if it was known that piggies on neighborhood streets would eat food or drink items??
I had left all my neighbors a food item and then accidentally clicked my door to my house so I transported home and then went right back to my street and only one of my neighbors food item I had left was gone (which wasn't by the main entrance) and all the other neighbors still had theirs...so I started thinking that maybe one of the pigs on the street gobbled it up?
I'd say that if you live in a place on the ground with roaming piggies there would be a fair chance of them gobbling up any food items left (this includes herbs, because they do eat those). But I don't think they'd eat drinks?
This is where the higher up houses like the bog houses have an advantage, even if we had piggys roaming (which I would like actually, if only we had trees in our neighborhoods. Hear that devs? It would be great if we could grow spice and gas plants in our bog house streets) unless we specifically put them on a balcony they wouldn't be able to get to our doorsteps.
Butyeah, I think other people would grab them pretty quick too. Would be nice if there was a doorbell to ring that let the person know you'd left something. Or just a table outside each house that when you put something on it you can't take it off (or you have 30 seconds to take it off), because I love actually seeing all the little goodies lined up outside doors.
I've been worring about that too. I used to leave food in front of my house for my neighbours and some kind neighbour did leave some food of his own there. I've been worring about pigs eating some but lately though the number of pigs is still the same (2) the food (and drinks) dissapears rather quickly with nothing left but the notes so I assume someone has been systematically checking and grabbing all the stuff. For now the gifts are on stop or random appearance to prevent that attitude again. So far it seems to be working cause the bottles of milk I normally leave daily for my neighbours aren't dissapearing as before.
pigs seem to eat meals.. found that out the hard way... either that or my neighbours and/or sticky fingered glitches were very selective in what they took. Meals vanished, drinks stayed.
I was pretty sad my street didn't come with trees. And then I realized that the lack of trees mean that less people will visit our streets and take stuff I leave out for friends. It's amazing. Everything I've left in front of their door they've gotten.
