Oh my, I'd hardly call what I said 'cruel' or a 'zinger'. That said, I AM sorry I offended you, xoxjulie - I didn't mean to come across that way. Of course what you said has merit, I'm just pointing out that he has a learning disorder. Sorry, really didn't mean to snap at you :)
@xoxJulie: Maybe there's been some editing done - I don't see any dissing. All I see are 1) an explanation of the misspellings, 2) an agreement that his threads are a bit annoying and 3) a request to cut him some slack, Reads pretty neutral to me. Hmm, if as napabeth says there was something cruel there, it's clearly been edited away.
We have some really caring people here. They take time to remediate their remarks. Hostility can be melted away with a few kind words " ..to err is human, to forgive, divine..." Alexander Pope
and to laugh at yourself is the best medicine
and to explain... there are no zingers in this thread... BUT there are many in the forums and they add a bit of zest to my day. It is obvious that Glitcherini are of a strong mind and are sound of mind...at least I hope so.
I'm dyslexic too. It is not a free pass to let your writing flow free from your brain in whatever garbled format it comes out in. It reads just fine to *me*, but I know that the rest of the planet tilts their head sideways and says "huh?" when they read it. ;) SO, if I want people to be able to understand me on the internet, I keep track of myself and my writing. The OP can do it too.
If you use Firefox, it does an excellent job of spellchecking everything you write. It puts a little red line under the words, you click, it gives you the right spelling, and presto! Clear English. Other browsers do this too, but I find that Firefox is way better at translating me.
