"Keep out" themed home street background option

I think it would be cool (read: funny) if there were a keep out theme that people who don't want visitors could set as their home street's background!

  • Although I agree everyone should play Glitch how they want to, (an aspect of Glitch I like), I wouldn't like something that actually encouraged Glitchen to not share and not keep their  public space freely available to everyone

  • so very PARP!
Thinking back to another early player's joke, I will see your KEEP OUT background, and raise you one with (edited) Condemned signs...

    I like it, it's funny!

  • There could also be a QUARANTINE background, with sick gnomes and warning signs about "Rook Fever".

And "keep out" streets could come with hyper-vigilant JuJus who would try and rob every visitor.

  • What a fun, creative way to indicate you prefer no visitors.  While i agree with Rhonda in that we don't want to encourage people to not share, giving them a way to indicate their preference is better than the current system, which is the systematic blocking of people who visit/harvest/etc.

  • Or, you know, they could just put a note pole up saying they prefer not to have visitors. And refrain from cultivating their street.

  • I don't think Eggy means to discourage visitors.  I think she means to pretend to discourage visitors!

  • I think I've seen at least one tower, and several butlers announcing "GET OFF MY LAWN!"
