Actually, if they are working on fixing this, it would be very useful if there was a "nice" noise (a little chime or such) when meditation ended normally and the "honk" noise only when there was a problem. Watching for the mood and energy change and the timer to come up is okay, but an additional audio cue would be good, given how long normal meditation can take.
It's a part of Glitch.
The actual feature is that you should only get that when you break the mediating abruptly, such as moving, clicking, or talking without the required upgrades etc.
Once the bug is fixed, you should not get the HONK noise if you don't break it.
It's a part of Glitch, a feature. It's a minor chastising or penalty for those who break the meditating. While it may be surprising, you'll get used to it. Tons of things in Glitch, sound effects specifically, may get used to.
Personally, if I can live with all the innuendos in Glitch, and everything else that people may perceive as wrong, this sound wouldn't bother me :P
Or you could not meditate.
Not attacking you personally, this is your opinion. My opinion is otherwise, I vote in keeping it. With the bug fixed, of course.
