Question about Home Owners Association Groups

I see a few HOA's (Home Owners Associations) in the "Groups" section and these are "invite only".
How does one get invited?
If invite only; is there a "neighborhood list"? If not how do you know who to invite to join the HOA?
Is there a profile that one must fit?
What must one do to join one of these groups?
What happens to these HOA's when Glitch closes then officially opens? One has to buy homes in these areas again to start another HOA?

If there is a forum regarding this already, I humbly apologize, but I haven't found it.
Thank you in advance for help with the answer!
LOL these are deep questions huh? ha!

  • Hi Joy, good question.  I don't think the HOA's have any special status.  They are just groups that someone was motivated to make.  It's not entirely clear to me why the owners made them invite only, but that's how things are at the moment.  There is no neighborhood list as far as I know, but you can find out who lives in a neighborhood by just visiting its residential streets.

If you want to join the association in your neighborhood, I recommend asking around with your neighbors.  Probably one or more of them will already be in the group and can ask for an invite for you.  Or you can make a status update announcing that you want in, and someone will likely be able to help.

I think it's been said that groups won't be reset, so the HOA's will just be inaccurate when all of a sudden, none of us have homes!  People will somehow shuffle themselves around into the right places.
