Wow, I go offline for a day to try to calm myself down about going cold turkey on Glitch and maybe quit babbling nonsense all over the forums... and this is what I see when I sneak back for a quick peek tonight?
WAY TO GO, Glitch and kt! Can't wait to see what happens next!
wow - Glitch was already so great. and now? You know that 3 question survey that always pops up when you leave the game and one of the questions is "How excited are you about the potential of Glitch"? Being extremely excited, I always pick the 5 maximum on the 1-5 scale, but I think Glitch just turned it up to 11! Welcome kt!
Wow. Just, wow. My eyes had turned into buggy eyes. I'm sure that's not normal.
So, こんにちわ、けいと。
(Good thing I take Japanese as my LOTE)
(Should I add せんせい?Nah, maybe not)
Keita proposed this idea that you start off in the present time in the game and as more people play it, put more time into it and do more things, their ability to travel back in time gets further," Butterfield said. "Maybe you can go back to 1980 and then eventually you can go all of the way back to 1850."
I think "Takahashi-sensei" is perfectly appropriate in this situation. But I'll stop talking now in case it's making him feel creeped out by just how much people love him and his games.
He's going to have to play with another alias, too much rock start status now, people besieging him for personal notes and shizz....entirely too much ass kissing of devs, I say ye...maybe he already is playing as someone else, maybe Lord Bacon-O, maybe Cupcake, possibly Divine~....must remember to ask a bubble tree about this asap.
This made me smile hugely. I am a huge Katamari Damacy fan as it was a bonding point for me and someone very close to me. I had picked the game up when they were very sick and couldn't go out very much after being diagnosed with MS. I remember looking at the game case thinking 'What the heck is this?" but because she loved anything kawaii I figured it was perfect. We would play KD quite a bit together in the evenings, laugh about 'rolling up' the world and it would become an inside joke when i would take her out to run errands. I remember having to take her in a wheelchair for the first time to go shopping, I made her laugh as we went through Target about how wouldn't it be great if we could just 'roll up' the whole store instead.
Just writing this I have that distinct 'NANAAAAA NANANANANA NA NA NA' theme running through my head.
So happy to hear you have joined the Glitch team! Irasshaimase!
Found this while searched on youtube for katamari. This music made me laugh - so so nice and funny. Really glad i see more nice and creative people join glitch team.
Another creative, passionate individual is joining the TS team, and I could not be more exited, but there's another really important fact that a lot of people are missing.
Takahashi-san's games, while not exactly the biggest names in gaming, carry a very loyal fanbase. A fanbase which values innovative gameplay, creativity, and a quirky sense of humor. In other words, exactly the kind of people who would love playing glitch. Getting the word out that Keita Takahashi is working on glitch will generate a huge ammount of buzz among people that would surely love the game. I've been posting this news on whatever social media outlets I can. (Which is only twitter and facebook, unfortunately) You should do the same. The next section is to get the attention of people who maybe skimmed over this post without realizing it's importance.
TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT THE WONDERFUL NEWS. "KEITO TAKAHASHI, CREATOR OF KATAMARI DAMACY AND NOBY-NOBY BOY. IS WORKING ON AN ONLINE GAME CALLED GLITCH." THIS WILL GET LOT'S OF PEOPLE INVOLVED WHO WOULD LOVE GLITCH. GET THE WORD OUT! DO YOUR BEST! ALL RIGHT!
I think it's wonderful that this news is being reported across the world! Google News (link) shows articles in Dutch, German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Portugese and Chinese. :)
