[not a bug] Discovered Abbasidose, created Diabolic Acid as well,

I successfully discovered Abbasidose, but I got the notification for that as well as the notification for Diabolic Acid. I even got one piece of Diabolic Acid as well as the Abbasidose! The recipe for Diabolic didn't show up in my test tube until I made a unit deliberately with the correct proportions.

  • The same happened to me a few weeks ago, so... confirmed.

  • I had the exact same thing occur yesterday.

  • Yup, that's as designed.  Diabolic acid is a byproduct of synthesizing abbasidose.

  • I spotted that this afternoon as well... the question remains: why?

I don't understand why the chemical reactions should be set so that this happens. The recipe is correctly consuming 6-4-2-0 as the molecular diagram for Abbasidose indicates.

And I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with the Diabolic Acid once I've made it - I don't appear to have any recipes that use it.

    Odd.
