Quick question: Piggies cannot eat food in bags right?

Or can they?
I dump all my bags on my floor before I do the ancestral lands run and want to put piggies on the roof of my house but am not sure if they can eat food in bags, or just food left out~?

I don't want to come home and find all my crops eaten.  ^_^

  • I have never heard of pigs getting into bags or cabinets.

  • That's my understanding George.  Pigs can only eat what's in "plain sight", so bagged edibles should be safe.

Remember that not only are normal foods at risk, but flowers, planks, bubbles, and who knows, maybe even baby animals or fetal versions (the eggs) (although I really hope not on those last ones.)

  • My two piggies won't eat anything except what I hand feed them. Are they just spoiled or is it a bug? I leave tons of grain on the ground for them but they refuse to eat and then won't let me nibble until I feed them. *sigh*

  • Thanks guys.  Awesome.

Blithe: piggies won't always eat what's left for them, especially if there's other food (feeders, trees) available.  However mine have a pesky habit of immediately nomming anything I drop lol!
