The Rube not speaking to us might be because we don't have a slot in our main inventory that holds an item, rather than a bag. The last time I saw the Rube, he wouldn't speak to me until I dropped a bag and put a stack of meat where that bag had been.
I thought I'd found one, but it turned out to be a key. ): Found a 'hidden treasure' though. I probably won't stumble upon a die, but looking for one is quite a bit of fun!
I found one behind a tree somewhere. Don't remember where, and wouldn't tell you if I did.
Here's what I've learned about its properties:
* Rolling rooks appears to be less than 1/12 (not certain about this - just a guess).
* I've rolled a rook about 7 times, but only twice have they actually appeared.
* The rooks that appear will cause animals and trees to become rooked, but may not (1/2) scratch your HUD and will not (0/2) cause a full-on rook attack that must be defended against.
* Rolling a giant appears to have no effect, even if you are standing next to a shrine for that giant.
"What I want from each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at fifteen miles. Your fugitive's name is Rook Roller. Go get him. "
All I found so far was a Mabbish coffee and a note meant for noobs! Will keep looking, though...
I found one, but it's below the floor level of the map... I can't seem to reach it. Anyone know what the trick might be here? I can hover over it with the mouse and see the tooltip for it, but clicking it doesn't do anything.
Wounder--I had a similar situation in a house I bought. In that case, if I dragged it to my backpack, it would go, even though I couldn't pick them up.
Not that I want to see Glitch, in any way, steered towards a pay-to-play format, but things like this I could see put in a "Glitcheria" where we could throw our credits at them and take them home to play with. This is in addition to the lucky who can find them out in the wild. Maybe coupled with an accessories shoppe within wardrobe.
I finally found one. Now we need a fun game to play with it. Something that includes emblems, methinks. And includes the shrine on the street where you are playing.
I use is to pass judgment on streets. If a giant comes up the street is protected. The the rook the street is forfeit. Only populated streets are worth being judged. Oh, and I roll it if I get bored... hehe. Was hoping if a giant came up it would swap out the shrine on the street for that giant's shrine or act like shrine powder and power up the shrine for donations for a limited time to give even more reason to risk rolling it.
