Zillene is shaped like a Z. Only realized today when I saw it on the ground for the first time (a larger version on the ground). Rubemycin is an R upside down and mirrored, Lemene is shaped like an L, Humbabol like H, and Mabon is M sideways.
OMG I only just found out about a few things in the worlds that despite my 2 score years and 4 I was completely innocent about until I read a thread about name censorship earlier today....
You can climb the trees? Is that how you get past the first set of crushers? They always kill me. I wish there'd been a video made of going through it. It's my one quest left over from the launch (it just hangs there on my quest log like a hangnail, or a things that hangs).
That you could click the street signs on the mini-map or the GPS directions to automatically be walked to that sign (and sometimes moved to the next street).
That emblems only ever provide 1000 points of favor off learning time. Even if it takes you over 1000 to earn the emblem.
I think that emblem thing is well worth it though... when new skills come up and you've got a) some emblems spare to spend on learning and b) significantly more favor at a shrine to be able to rack up in a game day to take MOAR time off studying

it took me 2 effing weeks to get that - man did I feel stupid!
Otherwise nothing to report, the discoverability of Glitch's user interface is quite good IMHO.
(assuming you read "contextmenus" and quest & info windows...)
Hmm, there may be one thing: the keyboardshortcut for clicking the GPS-arrow Wynella mentioned. I'd really like to know that one as I play 99% via Keyboard and reaching for Mouse or trackpad disturbs my flow
*snicker*
It took me an annoyingly long time to realize that in map mode you can hover over the icons on a street and it'll tell you what vendors and shrine are there. D'oh.
I didn't know until last week that you could bundle grain.
Also with the tie thing - when I jump off my house's balcony to get to the piggy pen and plots (because why would I ever take the elevator thing when I can jump?) my skirt flaps - at least it does when I'm wearing one :)
People kept telling me to show new players the drop down menu in the game UI when I first started doing Greeter stuff. I was like, "drop down menu whuh?".
For those who are also drop-down-menu-finding-challenged, it's top right, next to your name and little tiny face. Good stuff in there.
Tibi: its the second set of crushers, not the first. For the first, get close to the ledge and when the rock is approaching or at your ledge jump over it and then up onto the next ledge. But not too far onto the next ledge - just stay behind the tree where the next crushers can't get you. There are some arrows pointing up (d'oh, took me forever to see that against the black/grey background) you can climb the tree and hop/walk across to the next ledge and then smash the egg..
Something I recently happened upon which gives me endless amusement is if you are the leader of a glitch train, do one of the "1,2,3,4 facial expressions", and the whole train does it with you.
I note that the sigil for Mab (on shrines and emblems) looks like a fly-swatter. I assume this is an allusion to "Queen Mab" the fairy?
"Her wagon-spokes made of long spinners’ legs,
The cover of the wings of grasshoppers,
The traces of the smallest spider's web,
The collars of the moonshine's wat'ry beams,
Her whip of cricket's bone; the lash of film;
Her waggoner a small grey-coated gnat,
Not half so big as a round little worm
Pricked from the lazy finger of a maid"
I didn't figure out until after reset that I could click the arrow in the destination box to auto-walk. Heck, I didn't figure it out till I'd already had 3 or 4 Completist badges under my belt. Really sped up the process after that, though.
Didn't know that there is one simple calculation for shrine donations which allows you to do some math and donate accordingly, thought it was just some random magic for the longest time. It was more frustrating than magical though.
And Djabriil, thanks for the walking tip, totally didn't know that!
