Uncle Friendly — imbalanced?

There is a an Uncle Friendly at the Guillermo Gamera Way at lx, a vendor of food, who sells many useful stuff (like vegetables) by the low prices.

You can buy a rice for 4 currants and olive oil for 5 currants. Then you can make a Plain Noodles from 2 rice, and then Fried Noodles from one Plain Noodles and one Olive Oil and sell it to the same vendor for 20. Cost of components is 13, the profit is 7 (it's a bit smaller, cause when cooking you spending energy and eating Fried Noodles).

Result: infinite loop of getting lots of experience and profit just in one place.

  • Yep... :)  And often you can find produce on one street and a grocery vendor on the next street and get the next best thing to Uncle Friendly.  You just stumbled on one of the great ways to make currants...cooking and selling the food.  And, you could potentially sell in the auctions and possibly make even more (but may have to wait for someone to buy, and it depends on the market/auction rates).

  • Yeah this isnt really imbalanced, the skills you have are supposed to allow you to make currants & experience

  • It would take a fair bit of time to make many currants this way, to be fair.  Also, the devs have said they're planning to scale back the availability of produce from vendors before, that may still be planned.

  • not imbalanced once you take the time it takes into account.

frying the noodles takes a long time and you can only to batches of 40.

in the time you spend doing that, you could be mining for some serious currants.
