Holy Crap - where did my money go?

I just hit 2 million currants on Monday night - now my balance is 872,814, and my imagination hasn't changed. Even if my imagination DOES change, that's quite a hit to my bank balance...

  • my currents went back to normal too, but currents for auction listings that sold during the downtime haven't been added to my total.

  • Jeez, I've been working my ass off and finally got to 32k in currants.  How in the world did everybody get millions or am I just a spendthrift.  I can't even get in the game since the new update and would gladly give up all my currants so I could at least play.  I was at level 70 or 75 before the last reset now I was up to 51 and now I'm 36 if this keeps up I'll be a level 1 in 2 years.  Ha I'm not getting older, instead getting younger and younger.  Got to love it

  • How did you get millions xoxJulie? Wait, I know.

  • LOL I don't have millions I have 32,000 - the most I have ever had at one time was 108,000.  I have no idea what I would do with a million - oh yes I do I want an Ayn Rand doll.  I am a spend thrift dang.

  • I had like 610k and now I'm at 596k ~O.o~  I honestly would have preferred to have less currants and more imagination seeing as EVERY FUCKING THING takes iMG now.  >_<!!!  But whatever... done complaining... I think I'll just go to bed... :(

  • I rarely comment in these types of threads, but I have to admit I was really surprised at how many glitches were so upset over their exact amount of currents. I feel like the whole change to imagination is like a great adventure and all of us are in the same big boat together getting to explore. Don't get upset worrying over whether you got the exact fair amount of imagination and currents as everyone else - spend your energy finding the neat things out there now and looking at the possibilities for growth that the changes have created. I may not have been to Level 60 yet or a millionaire - but I also "worked hard" for the XP and currants I had.....you just have to let it go and remember why we all choose to take a portion of our valuable time to play a game. I bet when you really think about it, your reason won't be the number of currants you have, or your level, or the exact amount of imagination.

  • Dannelynn, at the time I was upset, and if the currants had not been restored I still would be upset, and frankly I don't appreciate being told not to get upset.  I'll get upset if I want to, and I'll own it.  Mind your own beeswax.

  • WalruZ, Wow - I made a general positive comment in a public forum. One not directed at any one glitch in particular and meant to find the good in the changes. I'm sorry my comment was not taken in the spirit in which it was meant. Have a good day!

  • To be sure, we had reduced the currants, but then just changed back to what they were before the conversions. :)
Posted 7 months ago by kevbob Subscriber! | Permalink
  • kevbob, does that mean that they will be reduced again?
Posted 7 months ago by Audaria Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Nope.
Posted 7 months ago by kevbob Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Why the change of plan kevbob?  You guys didn't want to deal with the general freakout?  (Which is a fine reason, of course!)
Posted 7 months ago by Golden Retriever Subscriber! | Permalink
  • So they definitely, definitely won't be reduced again?

  • That's the million currant question, it seems. The original conversion plan detailed by stoot did indeed involve the confiscation of currants in exchange for imagination. If that isnt the plan anymore then it would be great to know. Although stoot advised against hoarding in anticipation of the change, I'm sure that some glitchen (don't look at me!) did precisely that and continue to do so in expectation of another big drain. Enquiring minds want to know. Pretty please?

  • It can't be worth a million currants- I said nope already. :)
Just a little reworking of things and decision changes as we were getting things ready.

  • Thanks, kevbob. I think that will put some minds at ease. :)

  • I lost 100,000 currants a few days ago and the help people didn't seem to know why- when I responded to them that I was positive that I didn't make a mistake- and I had in fact lost 100,000 currants overnight they haven't responded and that was 2 days ago. I don't understand what's going on!

  • :) The only reason I asked my question is because "nope, that doesn't mean they will be reduced again" isn't exactly the same as "they won't be reduced again period" and with everything all crazychanginglike it's nice to have a bit of exactitude if possible.

  • Hi PeterFederowicz. I'm one of those people, and we haven't discovered what the discrepancy could be for you yet. We know there was nothing big purchased, but when we are done digging, we will be back to you in your help case.
