Why is there any limit to elements?

I never paid attention to the message after I crushed stone but I noticed that now it's reading that I created 250 red element but it was destroyed because I couldn't carry it. Supposedly, the limit is 500.

Why the heck is that? That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen in a game. There should be no limit whatsoever. If I want to have a million red elements, I should be able to!

  • I have to agree with this one - why not let them overflow into regular bags?

  • The limit is how much space in your elemental pouch(es) you have, not 500. And within one elemental pouch, assuming you use one slot for each element, the limit for each element is 5000, not 500.

  • But why the 5000 limit?

  • Because you can't have an infinite amount of things in a finite amount of space, and the elemental pouches are protected by special science magic to keep the elements from escaping or reacting with anything they're not supposed to. It could be calamitous if your Shiny Elements got out and reacted with your Very Stinky Cheese!

  • Also, do what most people do and carry multiple element pouches. You'll need SIX to hold onto a full GoG's worth of beryl.

  • Multiple element pouches seem like the way to go. I mean need a few of them.

    Thanks

    What is GoG?
