A Dangerous Item

It's fun to walk around Ur and explore new places but sometimes when I'm not doing anything in particular, just random walking through the usual streets and don't see much people to have fun with, walking seems dull. 

So I propose a random kind of danger to give excitement to anyone with nothing to do. Something similar to the deimaginators and juju bandits. But instead of taking an item from you, they drain you of energy and/or mood. If you get "hit" by too many of them, you die. 

Though considering other players' peaceful preference of playing, having this implemented to all characters in the game would be too much. So I suggest making a "dangerous item" that, while in the player's inventory, will make him/her a target for this "danger". An example would be having some kind of Rook's food in your inventory would attract small Rooks and chase you. You decide if this "danger" will be visible to other players like the juju bandits or invisible to them so they see a random player running away for no particular reason.

  • Interesting idea.

    Instead of an item though, what about a powder that attracts animals to you? It's not random in the sense that you know you need to run away, but chances are you haven't memorized the residents of the next map and will have to devise a way to dodge them.

    This will of course disrupt those trying to gather normal animal products, but if it were specific to say, butterflies... Look ma, a walking flower! And when they fly off... butterdust :o!

    At the same time, a bug repellant would probably be useful for those people who keep animals in their gardens but out of pens. I personally like gardening via keyboard but some people seem to prefer using a mouse. Though this would be useful to prevent accidental singing...
