Tinkering V unlocks several craft-able items that are unavailable from vendors, but in time these special grinders and watering cans also lose their market value as the majority of the players become able to craft them and they are no longer considered a rarity. This can be said for other player-made items as well, including food and drinks.
I have previously made a post on the forums suggesting recipe cards, but it was lost somewhere in the ether now that the entire focus of the community seems to be on the herb garden etiquette and aesthetic suggestions like "More waterfalls plz."
I'll try to make my suggestion slightly less verbose here than the first time around to ward off the TLDR spirits.
1. Recipe cards will drop throughout the world of Ur. Food recipes will come from nibbling pigs or harvesting trees, and tool recipes will come from mining rocks. They will range in rarity, with some dropping as often as music blocks and some being found with about the frequency of stumbling upon diamonds.
2. To consume a recipe card, simply click "Read." It will disappear into thin air, and the recipe will be unlocked in your crafting window. Once learned, the recipe will belong to you forever. Recipe cards will have certain skill requirements. If you need Tinkering V to learn a recipe, an alert will show up that says you are not wise enough to learn this recipe. If you un-learn a skill that is necessary, then your recipes also vanish.
3. Recipe cards will be sold in their very own section on the auction listings. It probably won't take long before Glitch users figure out which ones are rare and which ones aren't-- just like with the Cubimals.
Here are some examples of new items that hopefully can be implemented.

Additional comments are welcome.
ALSO. Also, while I have your attention, can we please revisit my other idea about Questmaking that I posted a long time ago? http://www.glitch.com/forum/ideas/11109/
