Piggy Feeder doesn't do much of anything.

While the game was off for the past few days, the piggy feeder seemed to be completely worthless--my one pig only ate 3 grain out the 80 that was in there, and is complaining that he's all nibbled out when I try to nibble him. There were 50 meat in my meat collector, so at least that worked--but the piggy feeder has questionable usefulness at the moment. The last (short) test the pig was also "nibbled out" and the feeder didn't seem to be helping, but before that it seemed to be working well. Yes, I fed the pig a bunch last test to get it back up to health, so I didn't expect it to be nibbled out again when I got back...

  • My pig feeder has not gone down in amount for the past few days and it used to in prior tests. I haven't been feeding my pigs manually and I don't think they're eating off the floor, so I can't think of anything different that is causing the feeder to stay the same now. The meat collector is filling up and the pigs aren't asking to be fed (if they can via the action icons).

  • Out of curiosity, should the butterfly milker and meat collector be filling up at roughly the same rate? (Assuming same number of animals.)  Mine seems to be roughly 2 milk to 1 meat, and my feeder is also depleting very slowly.  I have one each of gas, spice, and bubble trees, if that affects anything.

  • Ah bother, I forgot to set up my feeders before the shutdown. Dead critters next test, I suppose.

  • Spong no worries the animal/tree life cycles are shut down in between tests so that won't happen :)
