[Skill Queue] Have you heard of Glitch Academy?

It is awesome! Definitely one of my favorite uses of the API. Thanks to Code Dev you can queue your Skills and keep on learning. Unlike the Greasemonkey Scripts that allow queueing this even works when you're not on the Glitch website. No more keeping your computer running at night to start learning your next Skill at 3am :)

  • Or I can just do it myself when my phone goes off due to an email from Tiny Speck.

Granted this is automated, but I don't find myself that lazy.
"Oh well, it's a queue kufuffu".
    Revert to first sentence.

  • I'd use the term 'efficient' over 'lazy', personally. Plus, it's good for those of us who don't literally live next to our mobile phones 24/7. Or those of us - like me - who have archaic mobile phones to begin with.

I love this nifty programme. Although I'll have learnt my 93rd skill by tomorrow afternoon, so I'll be going truant on it until new skills are released. Gosh, I'll feel so naughty...

  • I wonder what will happen to all those do it yourself books in a few years.

  • I would imagine they’d just get lost in the ether and such precious knowledge will eventually be forgotten.

Yes, I’m most certain to eventually lose my ability to click on a skill description followed by the ‘Learn the skill’ button. My clicking finger will indeed become superfluous. You’ve a lot to answer for, Glitch Academy.

  • I have to say that Glitch Academy is an excellent tool. Having reached the point where learning skills takes enough time that I won't be constantly checking progress, but not so much that I can't learn several new skills per [Earth] day, I find it refreshing that I won't have to re-visit Glitch during work or sleep to ensure maximum learning efficiency.

  • Thanks a bunch for this, Victoria!! Just got all queued up over there (and bought a beer for the Headmaster, to boot!)
As I'm away for the weekend, this will surely help a bit....I won't be obsessively checking to see if I have to start a new skill
