New Forum Feature: The "My Discussions" Tab

A new day has arrived. All you forum denizens now have a headache-free way to keep track of all the comments you've made, as well as forum topics you've posted, in the new "My Discussions" tab nestled right under the Bugs forum on the left. It groups threads by day you posted in them, and will even count the number of comments made in the thread since your last comment. Woooo!

I don't know about you guys, but I suddenly feel this overwhelming sense of peace and contentment.

  • That's great, thanks!

Same as Zigniber, this thread I started doesn't show up:

  • The irony of this thread is that you don't need to look in the My Discussion tab to find it. Despite that, a triple-useful addition!

  • Thank you for this! Before it was impossible to track your topics! Please add a feature though that will allow you to mark all your active forum topics as "read."

  • Very well, very nice, thank you... but I really think Groups discussions should get the same treatment as well.

(In fact, from a practical point of view, I think we don't really need two separate systems/pages for Groups and Forums. A single, coherent forum system named, say, "Community" would suffice, and be much more easier to handle—I almost never care if I have written something in a forum post, or a Group discussion post; I only want to be able to see if any responses were made to my comment on one, or if a new discussion topic is opened etc..)

  • @Kuboa: I totally agree with more integration with Groups.

This is a great step forward, though.

  • Could we get the ability to flag discussions that we're interested in but haven't posted to, so that they appear there as well?

Sometimes, I don't have anything to add to a thread but I do want to see if anyone, eg, figures out the answer to the question.
