Defining a Casual Skill

Possibly some of you are in the same boat as me. I do freelance work at home on my computer but find it hard to combine it with Glitch. I would be interested in a skill or action in the game that wouldn't need to be clicked every five seconds, but a longer process so I can look away from the monitor for a few minutes (even 30 seconds or so.) Then I can feel free to look back whenever and gauge any progress, then continue as needed.

Anyone else feel the same?

  • Try growing crops!

I would like to see more skills like that.

  • Making large numbers of things might be best  - cooking, fruit changing and the like.  You can set stuff up without the normal click click click... though you'll need to some of that harvesting cherries,  etc.  Unless you're rich and can afford the auction prices.

  • Projects, during the work phase, and between phases. That's when I multitask most.

  • Learning remote herdkeeping and keeping pigs and butterflies at home would fit the bill. (I would be willing to do a testimonial in the ad: "I learned remote herdkeeping and now I get TONS of MILK and MEAT every DAY! IT'S AMAZING!!!")
