Strange mining congas in mines

Last days i notice a strange groups wandering around in mines. They are usually 2-3-5...x in count. It seems that one leads and other just follow it. When first stop and start to mine all others do the same. I suppose they use follow feature, but i'm not so sure what it is exactly.

Such groups mine all in their way - usually sparkly and beryl.

If it is possible to mine fast in group using "follow" feature i think this is unfair and something like abuse of this feature. It is like first one got a free bots which mine for him.

I'm still not so sure what exactly happens and how. If this are legitimate player groups it is ok. But if it is not - well i do not think this is fair.

  • Anytime you get help mining, everyone gets bonus chunks.  So, to be efficient about it, some players form groups.  The down side is that it makes things visually confusing, and that efficiency means that the rocks will go away faster. You can join, follow them or ignore them, but it is legit game play.

  • I join sure, but sometimes they seem like bots or zombies. :D

  • Joining the "conga line" as you call it does not mean you can just walk away and come back with sparkly. You still have to click "mine" when the rocks appear. The following just saves you from having to walk on your own and ensures there will be a big group for each rock.
