Lovin' The Upgrades To The Food Stacks!

TY Devs!
So far I've noticed that the Divine Crepes and the Juicy Carpaccios are now holding 12 per stack instead of 10.

Will they all start holding more? And is it just going to be food? (Radios...definitely radios need to be able to be stacked in the non-food category! lol)

How cool...but now y'all are making me want to get back into the game even more coz now my completed sacks of stacked foods no longer are!

Man I love this game!!

  • I've only just started making larger quantities of food, so I hadn't noticed, but any improvement in stackage is a good thing.

+1 for stackable music boxes, and I would love stackable gems, too.

  • Yes...anything that only stacks one per slot needs to be more...especially if it's stuff you get a lot of lol
Would love it for the jars of things, too, but would have to be for only the full ones, of course.

*Shakes sign* - Let me in, Please...I've got more cookin' to do!! :P

  • Oh no! Now I have to go through every food item again and update my spreadsheet! ;P

  • Another vote for increased stacking -- especially music blocks and gems.  Oh and project stuff -- how about 10 (or more) piggie plops per slot, 200 peat per slot .. You get the idea.  :)

  • shawn care to share those spreadsheets?

  • Yep, once I can get in game and finish them I will be sure to share!

  • I would love to see a "stacking" skill. "Maximizing Space"? "Bag Of Holding"? (Somethings like tools shouldn't really be affect, of course. And unsure of how to handle the complexity or jars... Sure, you could do only ones of the same "fullness"... but then if you used on while with a full inventory, you'd immediately drop it. Maybe a pop up menu like you get for feeding or the like?)

  • ice, ice, baby (it should stack, it's cube shaped after all).
Posted 18 months ago by Nanookie Subscriber! | Permalink
  • lol Nanookie...those are 10 to a stack (just like mushrooms) but both should have a much larger stack to them!
Posted 18 months ago by sgjo Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Seriously, I mean, how big is ice! (Although I suppose they have to be held in some sort of insulated container.)
There's a thought: After carrying ice for half a day, that slot is just filled with "wet."

  • OH!

We should buy an ice block, and then use a "crush" action to get ice cubes for some drinks, or crush the cubes again to get crushed ice for other drinks.

An ice block would stack just 1 per item slot.
Ice cubes and crushed ice could stack 12 or 20 or whatever is the standard for food ingredients.

    Also, new tool: ice pick!

  • I bought ice last game and I swear it slotted one per....oh well, will have to pay more attention next time.

I like the idea of a skill that enables super stacking. Maybe you could super stack items but on a timer, and if you didn't disperse them in good time the whole compressed stack would go SPROING on you.

  • omg 40 ice - beta.glitch.com/items/183/
    Creepy.

Edit: And 40 olive oil too! Thanks TS!
Edit: And 60 meats. I'll stop here :)

  • Awesome!! Ask and you shall receive! :D :P

Yes...I hope that, eventually we''ll get tools to be able to make all of our food and drink ingredients that we have to get from vendors.  Especially if they were attached to skilling and maybe quests.....would be too cool!!!

  • Thank goodness!  And olive oil's stack size is 40 now, too!  And mushrooms!  And birch syrupBuns!  Twenty cheese plates per stack!  What's up with the ten-per-stack currants?  Hmmm!  Excitement!

  • One thing I've never quite understood: Why fruit is 100 per stack but veggies are 80.

    edit: corrected my "typo."

  • Big Stack o'Oil makes me very, very happy.
unstackable gems is good, it feels balanced.
crushed ice is an excellent suggestion.
    that is all.

  • lol, glum...seems they're still working on them coz, the only thing I had noticed when I started this thread was the 2 I had mentioned :D

  • Eep! This'll mean a lot of wiki updating! Some help, pwease? :3

  • Veggies are 100 now? they were only 80 per stack (garden grown ones, that is lol)

OK...time for me to go back and re-look at all the new shiny-ness that's being done!!
Posted 18 months ago by sgjo Subscriber! | Permalink
  • sgjo, I miss typed. They are still 80.
Posted 18 months ago by Lord Bacon-o Subscriber! | Permalink
  • @ LBo...dashed my dreams lol

Have noticed some some foods have been upped to 12 per stack while others can hold up to 40 now...wonder if they're energy rating is what's making the difference in how many per stack?

  • +1 for anything that stacks!
Posted 18 months ago by Sayuri Subscriber! | Permalink
  • (I would like to point out that any game that has us all excited that "olive oil stacks 40 a slot" is either doing something very very right... or very very wrong.)
Posted 18 months ago by Lord Bacon-o Subscriber! | Permalink
  • gonna go with the former there, Lord BO :)

  • Butterfly butter - 40
cheese - 20  -  the other cheeses still at 10
    butterfly milk - 80

    lovin' these upgrades!!  Thanks devs!!

    hint, nudge, pleading for...
the gems could really stand a little stacking - even if only 5 per item, these are the same ~ all rubies are alike, all diamonds, etc.
    please, please

eta the milk, forgot that on first pass...lol

  • Could we just please allow for 250 stacks of everything...LOL
Posted 18 months ago by im4noles2 Subscriber! | Permalink
  • YGTR im4!! :D :D
Posted 18 months ago by sgjo Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Yes yes yes yes to im4noles2's suggestion.  I know people like balance and challenge and all that, but I really have no interest in chasing butter and cheese around my bags.  It is Not Fun.  Bag organization games do not exist because no one would play them.  I'm fine with tools not stacking -- I want to be able to see a broken tool and its status bar and all that -- but the rest of the items could just stack to 250 and we could spend our time playing.  (I know this won't happen, but I can dream, right?)

  • Oh, oh, oh, the stacking! The stacking! The wonderfulness! Pant, pant, pant. Must breathe. Must. Reorganize. Belongings. Lord Bacon-o...very very right but very very darn silly :D

  • So cool! Pickles stack at 40!!! (now I can feasibly carry *hundreds* of them at a time)
Posted 18 months ago by MicklePickle Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Honey, ice, mushrooms, oats & olive oil - all stacks of 40!  TYVM :)
Posted 18 months ago by Teena Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Oh thank goodness about the increase in stacks!!  Especially olive oil since I need that for so many of the recipes!!  This is soooooo awesome!  (Though I still don't get why I need 80 parsnips...lol)  Appreciate that the items that are often used as ingredients in recipes got a big boost in size.

@ Shawn, was thinking the same thing...oh yea, need to update my spreadsheets...lol...(okay, so my spreadsheets are updated thanks to the encyclopedia)

Oh, and thanks for the better descriptions to the mood buffs for the drinks!!! :)
