Street project crashes

The new street projects are tons of fun!  Unfortunately Flash doesn't seem quite up to the task.  I crash pretty much every street project, to a grey ! error sign in the middle of the browser screen.  I've noticed the Flash memory footprint gets quite large before the crashes, up to 1.5M.  I'm running the latest version of Flash 10 in Firefox.  Should I try Flash 11?

  • I crashed once at each of the two projects I attended today too. The first had around 60 people at it, the second had around 90. I was using Chrome, and I usually never experience flash crashes now-a-days, so this is a big deal. I was in the middle of doing work for the first one, and just standing around doing nothing for the second one.

  • I haven't experienced a crash in a street project, running Flash 10 on Firefox 7. Lag yes, crash no.

It could be something else. What OS are you running? What extensions (some eat up a lot of memory)?

  • I've never crashed either.

    Specs are:
    Google Chrome Beta
    Flash 11
Radeon HD 5670/AMD Athlon II X4/4GB DDR3 RAM

Forgot to mention I've only been to two projects, though.

  • I crash a bunch! Force quit Safari, restart, and get back on the jorb. I figure it's no worse than going to hell for a hot minute.

  • I'm only running AdBlock Plus as far as extensions.  Windows 7 SP1 32-bit, fully patched, latest version of Firefox 7.  The computer is overall stable and I don't usually have browser issues.  Maybe I'll try putting Flash 11 in another browser like Chrome and see how it works.
