I have been hunting ghost for at least 3 real days now with no success. I only need one more but it eludes me. I've seen your notes. Too tired to continue but maybe I can get in on the next expedition.
Not sure when my next trip will be. If people start bombarding me with messages, I'll probably do another. I'm pretty busy during the week so it'll be weekend at earliest. :)
I was *so* lucky to stumble across you guys in Ilmenskie at the top of your tour!! Not only did I find the last 2 ghosts I was looking for, but I had a lot of fun hanging out with you all!! :D
@Arya - Let me know if you ever want another tour guide, I'd be more than happy to lead another group sometime. And thanks again!! That was FUN!! :D
Mizar - it's a mystery to me. Just looked on timeanddate.com and they have several CST zones - all different: CSTChina Standard TimeAsiaUTC + 8 hoursCSTCentral Standard TimeAustraliaUTC + 9:30 hoursCSTCentral Standard TimeCentral AmericaUTC - 6 hoursCSTCuba Standard TimeCaribbeanUTC - 5 hoursCSTCentral Standard TimeNorth AmericaUTC - 6 hours
So anywhere from 5 hours ago to 10 hours from now...?
This sounds great! I think I've seen your notes around as well, thanks!
Cannot attend, sadly, but hopefully I'll get another one if I haven't found my ghosts myself.
So 1:30 GMT ? I'm still on daylight savings here in the South, so that would be 8:30 pm CDT, and don't want to miss this if I can't find my last 2 before then.
Holy moly! Yeah I think next time I'll have to cap it at like 15 people per tour. If that many people show up again, I can find someone else who already has the heart and split up into two groups. Too much lag and crash and waiting around and standing on notes and general chaos.
Near the beginning I think we had around 32 people on the tour...:O
BUT, even though some people dropped out and some came in halfway through, an impressive number still ended up getting their hearts, so congrats Kookaburra and anonymoose and the others! <3
Thank you to Arya for leading this enormous group of Glitchen on a surprisingly well-organized tour! A ton of us got our hearts, and going with a group was so much more fun than slogging through the streets on my own would have been.
I joined one of the tours last week and it was loads of fun. Initially I thought it would be a bit like cheating, but really it was very entertaining, I made loads of friends, and there was a real community feel to it.
Thanks Arya!
And yeah Duck, I can see how it's a bit of a shortcut to be shown all the ghosts at once. The thing with tough quests like this is that there will be the kinds of people who want to do it all on their own, finding them as they go along, and there are people who get extremely frustrated and give up when they realize how difficult it is. And when a game isn't fun anymore, that's a problem.
So, I do these so that those people who would otherwise get frustrated and upset could have a way to still complete the quest (which at the end of the day, is a minor sidequest and doesn't give you any gamebreaking advantages over people who want to take it slow), and have a lot of fun and make new friends while doing it! :)
