Yes. Why wouldn't you?
-
Yes. The reset will only wipe your in game progress such as exp levels and currants. You will get to keep the account/username and also friends and groups.
-
Excuse me if this is hijacking, but what exactly stays after a reset?
-
Light Stridr, take a look here: http://beta.glitch.com/forum/general/6405/#reply-62716

Light Stridr, since I just typed the list in another thread, I shall just link to that. I should probably link to the more official statements... but I'm lazy today.
Edit: Millie beat me to it.

Your Glitch, and all its clothing
Your friends list
Your groups
Your votes (if you are a paid subscriber), your credits, and your teleport tokens
Certain special Glitch items (Christmas Yeti, Chocolate Easter Egg).
What goes away:
Your levels, quests, achievements.
All in-game items: house, inventory.

@WindBorn .. i think i read somewhere that people will lose all their purchased clothing after the reset and then be refunded the credits, with which they will be able to re-buy their clothing or other pieces of clothing instead.
admittedly i'm not sure *where* i read that.

Staff, can you comment on that one?
-
how many currants will we start with? I forgot what we started with as new players...
-
Glum/striatic: Nope. Clothing/avatars are not affected by the reset.
-
@ Artilect: I would not think the credits change form the moment before we go live. The credits we started with were a gift from the game for our help in beta.
-
Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, I can't find it specifically. Do we keep our skills?
-
Nope. Skills are wiped as well. (Basically any progress you have made)
-
@Audaria: Good news is that we will be able to learn in a different order from last if we found one skill set was not our favorite thing to do in-game.
-
Thanks Gabi and PoS. I think it's good they will be wiped.
-
yqw Audaria. :D
-
Thanks, stoot.
Artilect, I think new players are given 100 currants when they leave the start streets, though I'm not certain.
