Levitation problem

I have a focusing orb, have the Levitation skill and click on "imagine levitation" but still dont seem to be able to levitate when hitting the space bar...it's just a normal jump. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe a bug... any opinions or ideas? thank you!!

  • Hit the spacebar again when you get to the top of your first jump, and again when you get to the top of the next one...

  • Seriously, they should change this. One should just hold down the space bar and get repeated levitation 'jumps.' Pounding on the space bar is *lame.* And the buff lasts way too short a time.

  • Is Levitation more useful or more fun than just using spinach or triple jumps?

  • @Grey Goose
It goes higher than triple jump and doesn't require you to grow and carry around spinach.
I think you can go slightly higher than spinach (possibly) if you pound the space bar ferociously.
And spinach + levitation is amazing!!!!

  • You get much more height if you time it just after the apex of your jumps.  Perfect place to test the difference is in The Other Drop at the Level 4 East sign.  If you rapidly hit the spacebar, you'll never make it to the lowest platform.  Spacing it out more gets you up there with a second or so to spare.  I can only estimate that Isabelle's suggestion of also using a Spinach would reach higher altitudes much faster.
