between the last two tests i looked at the realty listings to see if there was a nice house with an herb plot i wanted.
i can buy vegetables at a vendor, and there are a lot of community gardens.
but i can't buy flowers at a vendor, and community flower gardens are few and in high demand.
so i considered moving houses to get some herb plots, but there aren't any in nice sunny locations.
that's what i want: a sunny house where i can grow herbs in my shady yard.
in a perfect house, i could have one plot for crop, one plot for flowers, and a little patch in the basement for mushrooms.
since i mostly am out in the world traveling, my garden doesn't sustain me; i buy what i want at the grocer's.
but i can't buy herbs. i don't even know that i'd want to be a dedicated herbalist, but i like the idea of being able to experience all of what's available in my little world.
so: in my wild fantasy life, when i buy a house (maybe an expensive one), i want to be able to customize the plots. it's my house; why can't i decide to plant shade trees and have an herb garden alongside my vegetable plot?
come to think of it, i'd like to be able to customize my house.
buy a carpet, maybe.
