I am trying to find more fun things to do in glitch, so I am wondering, do you have any fun game goals? For example, one of mine is to accumulate a full stack of all the music blocks, excluding the rare ones... Any other fun goals?
Off and on I've been working on making 100 of each food item. I only got through the first two cooking tools before I had to stop because suddenly there were Feats and new areas and new badges and things to distract me, but I do plan on getting back to it very soon.
For me, I want to work on my cubimal collection. To make it a little more challenging/ satisfying, I have decided that I will only work towards it by opening Cubimal boxes (not flat-out buying the ones I need). This helps me focus on my tower as well, as I need the income from that to supply my Cubimal habit.
One thing I've been doing is trying to make my own "herb bank," wherein I have a collection of all essences, herbs, and enough seeds to keep myself self-sufficient and not have to rely on sellers for seeds.
Earning money so I can buy the things i missed out on during my vacation from this game for a year.
Building my tower to as big as I can, then doing the same on my house.
Building/Buying enough SDBs to hold atleast 1 of every single item in the game either in my tower or in my house.
Achievements. Got to get all that I can.
And if I do get bored with the game again or something else distracts me away from the game I know it will still be around when I do come back to it. (took almost a year off already so not too big of a deal)
I made a goal a while ago to take more snaps! Which requires me to get out and travel in Ur. I rely on teleportation too much, so if I want to, say, go quoin-hopping in Kloro but I'm in Andra, I'll take the time to travel there by foot... and I'll take snaps of my journey along the way.
I've also been spending my extra currants, as of late, putting together bags of fun things (cubimals, potions, etc) and hiding them around Ur for people to find.
Cool, yea I am trying to get my cubimals that way, but I finally broke down and bought a cheaper rook someone was selling. Just need a rube, and how ais your cooking goal going, Ailera? What whith the new cooking stuff coming out, I decided against working on filling my tower with food.
Wuilyl: I haven't been able to add to it for a while because I got distracted with new things (sno cones!) and now my laptop is in for repair (I can get to the Glitch boards from work, but not into the game.) But when I get my laptop back I'll get back to cooking (and I'm super excited about the new food!)
My long-long-long-term goal is to have a full SDB of almost everything. Obviously, most special items like artifact pieces, some toys and even emblems won't ever be plentiful enough to fill a box, but almost everything else is eventually attainable in a thousand stacks.
And the developers are always going to add new items, too. There are a bunch of new meal recipes right around the corner, so I'll need to add those to the list.
The hoarding goal is sometimes grindy, but there are enough varied items to hoard that it remains interesting to me.
That is quite the hoarding goal, dm. I think the closest I got to a full SDB was 30k sparkly at one point, before that one feat demanding they be donated!
I pick an achievement or two, and then go for it. For example, right now I am concentrating on the 10,000+ snails one and the 1,000+ potions one. I don't donate or sell much, so I end up with hoards of stuff. My house is basically SDBs and piles.
The thing that satisfies me most, in-game, is to find items that are in high demand and then working to satisfy that demand. Getting lots of currants by doing this is nice, but secondary. There are certain items in the game than sell at a huge premium to both their base and their production costs, and sell quickly. People want and (to the extent that this is a game) need them.
I'm reminded of the slogan of my favorite cement company here in the bay area - their trucks read "Find a need and fill it!" * That's what's working for me. iMG is entirely secondary. Nobody cares what level you are anymore.

* (actually I seem to remember that they said "Find a hole and fill it!" - but I can't be sure anymore...)
I like to focus on achievements as well. I also like to pretend I'm on a documentary and take snaps to describe my ADVENTURES.
I too decided to open all cubimals instead of buying them, so a year later and I am still trying to open a dang Magic Rock and a Scion. Blargh! Some day!
I'm also working on refilling my hoard, if you will, because of all the recent feats and what not have completely drained my supply. MAH SUPPLY!
It's a good excuse to get out and walk around streets you haven't visited in a while. I have another one to add, a Chilly-Busting Chili spawns on a high ledge in Guraibe Gran in Vantalu.
I've been dabbling a bit in everything.
My main goal is to create a Music Block Museum and/or Library. Right now, I've been completing the collections and when I level up, I'll build a Tower for it.
In the meantime, I've been growing herbs, making Hooch, and randomly wandering though Ur.
