50 fuel in new wood machine

I saw in the update log that new machines only are supposed to have 10 fuel.  The new Woodworker I just bought and assembled has 50/100 fuel.  I'm not sure about the other machines becasue I'm not done training to use them yet so they're not showing fuel.

  • It's been reinstated to 50 until the wood machines can remember the existing amount of fuel prior to being disassembled.

  • Gotcha.  Thanks!  (Idly wonders why change log was not updated...)

  • It's been 30 days and this hasn't been resolved? I wonder how many fuel cells would of been actually used so far?

I don't expect the machines to be giving us free fuel, however the fuel maker should cost 0 fuel, for fuel cells... (consider the materials that you give the fuel maker may be an unprocessed fuel cell but.. just imagine for a second that it used the fumes from the jelsacs, peat, and white gas, to power the process to make one fuel cell). That way, we can just make the fuel 0 when we install new machines. Another solution might be to forcefully imagine the machine to work, costing iMG and making you feel like david blaine refilling a can of coke.

  • I don't see why this is a bug rather than a feature that encourages machine ownership.

  • Rebuilding is very much not free, so not much of an exploit, versus the downer that your brand new machine may be practically useless due to scant fuel (fuel cells are also not a vendor item any more).

  • The problem was that if you move a machine that is fully fueled it would lose all it's fuel.  I don't see that as such a big deal, but the bug reportee capitulated.
