List of Drops...

Ok, here is what I have put together so far.  I originally had this idea to track where all of the music blocks came from, but decided I had better track everything.  If anyone has any input on this, or any items they know FOR SURE came from a drop, please let me know.  Also, if there is anything I don't have listed that does produce drops, please let me know.

PLEASE, if you are going to contribute to this list at all, please, please, please make sure you know exactly where it came from so as not to contaminate the list :D

  • I Got a piggy from a SWF.
No, I meant an SWF from a piggy.
    Or was it...?

  • How long ago did you get the SWF from the piggy?  I used to get them all the time from them, but haven't at all recently.  I think they might have gotten rid of drops from piggies and butterflies.

  • I just got a DG-2 from a bean tree.

  • Chickens give out each chicken, piggy, and butterfly eggs as rare drops.

  • For the chickens dropping eggs, are you sure they were not dropped while on rubeweed?  I've squeezed thousands of chickens since that was posted, and I have yet to receive an egg, although I have received all of the other drops listed plus a few many times over.

  • Getting an egg from squeezing chickens is a VERY rare drop, burdger. I've been maxed out on animal skills for a long time and can only remember getting an egg once by that method. See also: trying to witness a chicken's death. Reliable sources have confirmed that it happens, but no matter how hard I try, I've never managed it. Oh I've tried.

  • I got an SWF from a piggy yesterday or the day before.

  • I've also gotten SWF drops from animals recently (last week). Sorry, not sure which animal.

Mad props to burdger for putting this together!

  • I don't munch rubeweed at all and have gotten a piggy egg from a chicken a few days ago. SWF block from a piggy too, last was, 2-3 days ago, I think.

eta: I've also gotten green and blue sno cones from chickens. I squeeze a Lot of chickens and had a few stacks of blue sno cones, some orange and only a few green.

  • Has anyone ever received currants as a drop? I am 99.999% certain my local chat message of "you received +17 currants" came from harvesting a peat bog yesterday on a home street. No buffs, wasnt interacting with animals or anything else.

  • @Koftun: yes! I think while interacting with a chicken.

  • Yes, you get currants as a drop from almost everything, so I didn't include them.

As for the eggs and the SWF's, I guess I'll add them to my master list.  I'm bummed I haven't received any recently though :(

The list posted is an old one by now anyway.  I'll update it in a few days once I had a bunch more stuff.  I'm constantly adding to my master list and it would be nearly impossible to keep this always current.

For me chicken's have gone in a pink poof to join the Giant's at their Retirement Farm after  incubating, not squeezing.

  • you also get moonstones and diamonds when herb gardening
Posted 76 days ago by shhexy corin Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I'm pretty sure Moonstones and above only come when using potions.  Note that those are marked sans potions :D  Thanks though.

  • @burdger, Yes i got the egg from squeezing a chicken yesterday, wasnt on rubeweed buff either. Its not the first time i get that drop from a chicken.
Posted 76 days ago by Jeasilver Subscriber! | Permalink
  • burdger - I'm sure I got them before I started using them... but haven't the patience to try and find out :)

  • IrenicRhonda--I once made the same chicken incubate like 100 eggs in a row and it still refused to die. At that point I figured it was staying alive just to spite me and resigned myself to the fact that it happens, but I'll probably never see it.

  • I thought animals (except pigs) only died when there were too many of them on ones street, so create loads in one place and eventually you'll see one die. That's the only time I've seen it happen.
Posted 76 days ago by Montooli Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Animals die because they can only give a certain amount of things-- for butterflies, it's milk (and can be very slightly extended by singing). For piggies, it's meat (and they can starve). For chickens, I'm not sure if it's grain or incubations, or some combination. Also not sure if piggy & chicken lives can be extended--  they are both awfully long to start with.

  • I've squeezed two chickens to death. One a couple months ago, one a few days ago. It wasn't a crowded street or anything, and there wasn't much traffic.

I just had a chicken toss me a butterfly egg. And a DR-2.
