Group Administration

A couple of items I think might be good suggestions to make group management much easier and better for everyone.

I just recently created a new group (Soul Society) and I am pretty sure I set it to "Public Approval (Anyone can apply to join, but must be approved)" yet it seems to be exhibiting behavior similar to the last option of "Private". Unfortunately, I have no way to alter that setting if it is, in fact, set to Private. Can we at least see what the group is set to? (Might submit a Help ticket for this)

I'd also think a bit more transparency on what non-members see when they try to access the group and/or are given an invite or what is presented to them when their desire to join is met with a need for approval.

Perhaps some form of poll-making option would be nice too, so that members could vote on various topics/issues/referendums for the group.

Something that could be useful to a group administrator would be an in-game message appended to the start of the chat log when a player opens the chat window for that group. Say a member logs in, opens up the Soul Society chat window and sees the following message: "Please remember to meet at the Groddle Forest Junction Subway for the field trip to Baqala on the 3rd!" Having to switch in and out of the in-game and Home windows to see important group-related messages is not entirely convenient.

I believe someone else has posted regarding the ability to have more of some basic forum management tools available for the discussion board within a group, such as sticky, lock, etc for threads.

I'm sure I'll come up with more. Thanks for your ears (eyes) on the matter!
