you keep changing your maximum price (as well as your original post). decide the max amount you want to pay, post it, and hope someone out there is willing to sell it for that much.
Not sure if this is deliberately trolling or not, but it's pretty unlikely a new level 13 player could afford a GNG or any other rare item. Also note the thread in the General Forum where s/he offers "free" items in the headline but wants currants for them in the thread.
Either a troll or a kid. Hoping it's the latter.
(Either way, I'd suggest enjoying the game and having fun, worry about collecting rare stuff later when you can actually pay what you've posted - and have the money in hand before posting, otherwise it's kind of dishonest.)
Arabesque, I very much respect your comments, and thank you for all the offers... you mf are one of the nicest people... As for you fleep, again I said IT IS 100% FREE, but generous people will be nice and give a tiny reward... not saying you have to.. but it is highly appreciated...
And Fleep, before you go trolling and flaming, think before you speak... you are the exact opposite of Arabesque, who I adore his words... and he is so nice... that its not possible to express... but Fleep you just flamed the hell out of me (which is an insult and bad for you, not me)
Yep, you do, the lowest offer wins but... I am gonna wait a few days or a week to see what happens... I am turning in, so if you post I WILL NOT reply.
The GNG is a highly desired rare item. People are not going to fall over them selves to lower the price for you. I advise Grendaline to hold on to it, in fact. And you don't even have the money!
@Grendaline, did you see this post? "No, I was going to ask them to hold it for a few weeks/months so i could get enough" Quoting because OP edits posts without notation.
*trips over my low price* Cut the guy some slack. He's been polite. He's been honest and stated that he is working towards the currants to pay for a GNG. He has already researched the prices and amended the cost because of the put down posts he's been getting.
A lot of Glitches will lower prices or rather sell at their own price. I don't take stock in what other players deem an item to cost however rare. I'm much more interested in helping other glitchen obtain the rare items for their own enjoyment (and mine at being able to assist). I've given dolls away (admittedly, I did trade one to a new player for a minimal cost of 10k). The point being that some people will fall over themselves to help out other glitch folk to experience the same fun in game they've had.
Is their opinion of 'reasonable' more honest than anyone else's? Put downs? They offered to sell at a price that he stated he was willing to pay then he said that that was too high.
It's not about the currants but it is about their integrity which I don't see here.
Arabesque-While I appreciate you're benefit of the doubt approach and applaud you for it, I've had some personal purchase experience with Spirit. I'm not going to call anyone out on the details of a particularly unprofessional transaction, but suffice to say I'm hesitant to chalk this up to a case of polite honesty. I certainly wasn't putting anyone down when I offered to sell something to him for the amount he was initially willing to pay.
I actually posted something similar in another post where Spirit was being rude and insulting (IMO) but I dont understand why people feel the need to comment on a transaction they aren't willing to be part of to begin with. I see where Soupie is coming from since he/she had a bad experience with the buyer and is warning others, but for everyone else if you dont like the offer, the numerous changes, etc dont do business with Spirit (or anyone else making similar offers).
I know that alot of us are really invested in this game, and that probably alot of the problem is how much we care coming out the wrong way. However, I just dont understand why people almost make it their personal mission to insult some people's offers. You dont like the offer, move one- its good for Glitchen blood pressure (and based on our in game diets Im expecting alot of heart disease in the next few years)
@Soupie, my previous post may not have been worded in the best way. I didn't mean to cause any ill feeling and my comment regarding 'put downs' wasn't the correct term. I just saw the way everyone seemed to jump onto him and I had to jump in to defend to a point. He is a relatively new player and just one. I'm curious to see how welcome all the new players are going to be made when the game comes out of beta. We do seem to have an 'Elitist' sector within the game now (this is just my own thought on the matter) and it's anyone's right to post in these forums for whatever reason as long as it's within the TOS. I do think it wasn't the smartest move to post 850k as his opening post and I can only imagine that someone told him to amend it as that is highly above what is normally paid for the GNG.
All that ramble I made aside (I could talk for England and do....) I take on board what you said : )
Arabesque wrote: He is a relatively new player and just one.
Elsewhere they claim not to be new to the game but that this one, Spirit11, is just a new account
Spirit11 wrote: I haven't been here for a very brief time elf, I used to have an account like last year, and I had it for like 7 months... so don't go telling me that
Spirit11 also accuses everyone who disagrees with them of flaming and calls them a troll
@ Arabesque: Of course, I do think all new players should be welcomed, and conclusions about their personalities should be made later.
But, if someone who is *supposedly* new is gonna be rude, obnoxious, and unreasonable in his every post, older players are gonna get out the pitchforks and flamethrowers. :/
Um... Just a little bit of friendly advice, saying that people are "Flaming" doesn't exactly help their mood, often it just pisses them off.... Just saying...
Spirit, I hope you know that you cannot have 2 Accounts on at once, or take advantage of your Alt, or vice-versa, unless you want to get banned.... Just a reminder.
