Meditation Query/Suggestion and FOOOOOD

Heya,

Maybe I am a little bit crazy, BUUUUT I was wondering why meditation is a fixed rate energy/mood boost- and not a percentage based refresher- kinda like how being online drains a percentage, and teleporting costs a percentage and singing to butterflies is also a percentage cost.

Because once you have 800+ energy and you chow down on expensive grilled cheese or awesome stews in the multiples, its almost not worth the time standing around to meditate- not even with bubble tea- which is less cost effective than awesome stew anyway........

Now, the Food part:
I was also wondering if some better food will be coming out? when awesome stews are consumed 4+ at a time, and you do that 4-5 times a game day, just staying in energy can get a bit tiresome.

  • +1 to this. I believe this point has been raised before, and it remains valid :) 40 energy just isn't REALLY worth it when you're working with 2000 energy.

  • Think this needs to be passed on thru radiation as well, feels kinda worthless only giving out 9 to maybe 19 points of radiating.

  • I think the cooldown should be less then 2 minutes. You're doing something that benefits only those around you and yet the cooldown is MUCH longer? That seems off :P

    For radiation xP

  • yeah, one should be able to radiate at people around you much faster

  • Agree -- with all of the above concepts!  It becomes much less useful to meditate as my level gets higher.

I rarely radiate, because... well, like BlackWolf said, 9 points followed by a 2 minute cooldown seems NOT worth it for anyone involved.

Maybe the benefits should be associated with how many times you have meditated?  So, as you become a more experienced meditater, you reap more benefits and can bestow more benefits on those around you?  That would give incentive to keep on raditating as well, because you would get better at it over time!

  • Clarabelle- that would be a great way to do it, so your proficiency is based on your experience with the skill, and not necessarily with what you had the rock learn for you.......

  • +1 ... more energy/action, shorter cooldowns would make meditation usefull again ...

  • +1 to Clarabelle's idea, that sounds like a wonderful incentive to keep radiating!
and I'd love a shorter cooldown and more energy and mood bestowed, as it is now it really isn't worth it.
