Giant skill affiliation rearranged

So, I notice followers of Pot are no longer called Potheads, but Potians. Are TS cleaning it up because they want more kids to join (kids over 13) or did they have complaints?

  • I wonder if they'll be renaming the Lemmings too?

  • The "Potheads" was changed a while ago, I think (like to keep up-to-date on these sorts of things ;))... back when the Giants' encyclopedia page changed?

I'm more interested in whether they were making room in certain Giants' repertoires for new skills :D

  • For some reason, I don't remember Tii being so heavily involved with Alchemy and Potionmaking. Am I misremembering Tii as being "the Beurocratic giant?"

  • @ Tibbi

Giants forbid that the Lemmings be renamed.

    @ Aeralis

Tii has always been the Giant most associated with Alchemy. Lem is the bureaucratic one, only because he finds it funny.

  • Hmm, it's very possible Potheads was changed before and I didn't notice. Pit was my first Giant in Ur (first for emblems and icon) and I didn't much like being called a Pothead anyways. :)

  • The "official" name for followers of Lem has *already* been changed - the old-school amongst us know that we are Lemmites, just as followers of Pot were originally Potians.

I congratulate Potians for recognizing their true nature and await a similar awakening from Lemmites. :)

  • @ katlazam

That was before the establishment of orthodoxy amongst the followers of Lem. So while we 'were' called Lemmites in olden days, the Primacy of Lem instigated doctrinal reforms and so we are now Lemmings.

  • you (ETA the "primates", not TS!) can call yourself whatever self-proclaimed title you want, but I am a Lemmite - you don't speak for Lem and you *don't* speak for me.
