A Glitch Planner

When looking through the Glitchopedia, I often find myself wishing that I could create wishlists. These would include lists of items I'm wanting to obtain or craft (both in-game and maybe wardrobe as well), achievements I'm working on next, skills, maybe a quest priority list. A Glitch planner, basically.

I'm not sure if this sort of thing would be a good fit on the main website or if it would be better as a separate web/mobile app, but in my searching, I have not found anything that covers everything, comprehensively, in one app. So, I thought I would throw the idea out there and find out if anyone knows of anything I should check out or if any others have been searching for the same thing.

  • I generally use the notepad area in my companion to drop random notes like those
really basic and not a actual "planner" but just fine for my use ;)

  • Yeah, I've recently started using Companion, but I haven't used it for notes yet. It would definitely help for quick ideas. But I find myself bookmarking stuff and writing things down in my notebook (I'm a compulsive list-maker, so that is where this idea is coming from). I've even thought about attempting to make an app or site myself, but I think it would be a little over my head, as my web design experience is quite limited.

I've also been using Glitch Academy (for skills), Glitchpedia (creating lists, but limited to recipes), and Glitch Remote (for resources). Plus, the iPad app, Glitch Inventory (auctions and looking at inventory). I can make due with these, they are pretty great resources individually, but I was looking for something that would cover most of these areas in one place.

As far as the main site, I do think that they should add a wishlist to the wardrobe. That feels like something that is missing.

  • I tried to do a bit of that with Evernote, but it wasn't really working for me.  Then I switched to One Note, which is a wonderful app in general--except that it's part of the MS Office suite, so not readily available unless you have Office Professional. But...I think there is a free online version with Office Live (or whatever they are calling their online app collection), if you set up a Live account.

  • +1I do this with little pieces of paper from the paper tree and leave myself notes:
so and so selling such and such for ##currants
this many potatoes required for making eggs
you have so many spriggan emblems, you still need ##
so and so sells these items in their tower
toy vendor pays this much for such and such
save 80 credits so you can make hanging firefly jar lamps
etc.  Gets a little crowded but I've moved my notes to the bag with my cards so not too bad.
I would like a better place and method for this kind of thing!
