Trees on some house streets but not others

Anyone know why this is?  It would be lovely to have trees on my house's street.  We can't keep piggies on the street without any trees, right?

  • You can keep piggies on your street if people feed them and/or leave food

  • Trees would still be nice. :)  On sunny hot days.

  • It would indeed be lovely Tibbi, to have trees in our residential areas as they do in other areas... I wonder why we can't.

  • Maybe that could be a feature they could include when they introduce customizations for houses - allow us to build tree patches for residential streets.

  • My street on Buckward Vale has two trees, and thus supports several piggies.

  • Not only do some streets have lots of trees, but they also have tons of metal rocks to mine.  They make good spots to gather beans/bubbles/metal, if you're into that sort of thing.

My neighbourhood has only some butterflies and a couple of chickens, but I would love to be able to add a tree or two.  I wonder if this is calculated somehow in the housing price? It doesn't seem to be, as the prices of houses in (frex) Tamila and Groddle Heights are the same.

  • I haven't found any trees on my Alakol block but I've been to a 4k house in Bortola where there were 3 bubble trees outside. Perhaps they're only in the lower priced housing blocks?

  • I wish all house streets had trees <3 Mine has three trees and its awsome! And it might make the spice war a bit more redundant if bog houses could have trees in their streets as well o.O
