  • Please don't!  If there's going to be a longstanding stationary mob, please move it away from the subway so people can get around the world without freezing/crashing.

  • Oh. This doesn't sound like it's going to end well :(

  • I have to say I agree about avoiding the subway. thats kind of a terrible choice. also a street with housing would be bad. 1 way street with neither of them would be best!

  • Might I recommend a location that's easy to get to, but can be avoided just as easily as well?

    Down the hole in hell!

  • Can you give in hell :P?

  • You can!

It is a most fitting location as well. (Unless it's been changed)

  • But if you're in hell when you get your Candyglitch badge ... you won't get any xp for that, right?

  • And when will it start and end...? I am a bit lost there.

  • Ah it will be dicing with death (well crashage, which is worse)trying to get home, for the duration of the festival again then, notes a sympathetic yet slightly frustrated Lowland Track Dweller. I did notice folks were gathered right next to the Subway station this time which does seem a bit silly- they were nearer the Lowland Slough lamp post last time.

  • It probably would be best to find the closest dead-end street to a subway and hold the festivities there.

  • "one with a vendor that sells syrup!"

    AGREED!
That was silly last time having to leave to replenish

  • Can we eat candy yet? I mean, to have it count towards an achievement.

  • I saw someone get a major tricksy treater badge just now.

paper is harder to come by than syrup.  How about around the closes subway near the ancestral lands?

  • We leave for 5 minutes to peter out some peat, and everyone's gone!

    :(

  • Yes agree with the suggestions, to move it off the subway street.  One street away from a subway is fine, and possibly post warning notes at the subway for those that have slower computer configurations that might crash if they go to that street...not everyone reads the forums or is in global chat.

Think the idea to find an area with a grocer is brilliant due to the syrup requirements for the birch candy.  Paper, is easy to come by if you ever go to the ancestral lands (dust traps can give you up to 50 a drop, and there are plenty of trees there if you just want to harvest)...you can stack it at 250 per, so the syrup seems to be the bigger limitation (since it only stacks at 40).

  • it really would be better if we could go to a place with a grocery vendor!  I ran out of syrup so many times last time around!

  • So is there an alternate place people are meeting?

  • There is a paper tree around the corner from the sump on lowland slough, and there's a grocer one block away to the north on i-forget.

ETA, lowland slough is also convenient to Groddle Meadows (at the end of the street) and Groddle Forest (1 block away)

  • Everyone jam into the Landing!

  • lowland slough is also a major housing street, and moving there would cause a pretty serious inconvenience to the residents who already lived through the occupation of their neighborhood subway station last zille-o-ween!

  • How about Fjarcke? It's a dead end with a groceries vendor.
