"Fjarcke me"! ...."No, Smew Yew"!!

My Glitch has a dirty mind!

The other day I found myself at the crossroads of "Bij Arsul" and "Egret Taun", just under "Pipit Throat".  Now, that’s a hat trick!  Wait….what?   It’s all starting to make sense now….

I was just wondering, what exactly is a:

..."Viscid Pud"?

...a "Krios Palm"?

..."Kanuka Saus"?

...Are any of those roads connected to "Akki Blocks"?

...Can you leave "Akki Blocks" via "Orgvos Lam"?

...Will the "Hechey Track" dump you off in "Flipside" or have you "Blotnass"?

KYY Queries?

The Devs are clever, clever indeed!  How clever are YOU at deciphering street names?  Please do share you observations, otherwise I fear my Glitch may be in need of a mental health evaluation.

By the way, "Niiske Kook".   Can I get "Samak Shun"?

  • To me the street names in Kalavana read like yummie Indian cuisine. I'd like some Kuri Chil with a side order of Fitadara Fry please. If the Chil is very spicy I'll take a Tokali Kola to drink.

  • Yeah,  I have a pretty euphemistic brain but not all of those make sense to me.

it's obviously how you read them

(Especially when you think of all the locations on the large island of "Mazza'la".)

  • Phool = Flower, I'm so dumb! D: lol.

    Kajuu = Cashew?

    Thanks for the link Stoot!

  • Wow, that's cool. I thought Chakra Phool was a reference to meditation: "Any more meditation for you?" "No thanks, my Chakra's full", and I thought Mirch was a reference to a Marsh. If I had to draw a link between the firebogs and Earth though, I'd say it was more Chinese than Indian to me. The plucked stringed instrument in the music is surely a Chinese one?

Here's some that I do know:

Cebrakul (or Chebrakul as Google romanizes it) is a city to the East of Miass in Russia. Miass is where the extremely talented artist responsible for Uralia, Zutto, lives.

I'm guessing Oktyabrya is a street in Miass that Stoot mentioned in this interview

More commonly, Burnabee is a reference to Burnaby, a neighboring city to Vancouver.

No references found for Guillermo Gamera Way, but I did find a accountancy firm in Chepen, Peru called Guillermo Gammara Luis Henry. That's when I realised I'm looking into this in way too much depth. Sigh, only at 4 in the morning.

  • @ A Predictable Fate:  A street in Miass?  Tee hee heehee
Posted 11 months ago by scroobienoob Subscriber! | Permalink
  • @ scroobienoob not only in Miass.a lot of streets in differend cities called after historical dates.
street of 8 of March, street of 1st of May.
Oktyabrya means I suppose the street of some date of October or something like this.

P.S. what means unlocked by ... somebody in the street description. Are they those who helps to make it during the street project?

@stoot: And here I thought I was the only one who knows of the Reggie Watts video! *snorts* You've stolen my heart <3   Fjarcken' fab-u-lissssss!

  • A lot of the street names in Chakra Phool refer to locations in Finland. And Bortola street names seem to contain a lot of Finnish words too... Coincidence? :P

Likomärkä in Shimla Mirch takes the cake everytime (Finnish for "thoroughly soaked" or "very wet").
Posted 11 months ago by Soy Sauce Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Thanks for pointing that out.

@A predictable fate, after looking at Stoot's link, it isn't Chakra as in energy... it's pronounced Chakar (Cirlce - or ninja star like object)...

Which makes me wonder about Nylon Phool...
