I haven't played very much lately. Partly because of shortage of time and partly because the game doesn't seem to offer challenges that are 'exciting'. I may have missed some of the new stuff by not playing and maybe there are new challenges that would fit the bill. But, it seems that all the things you can do and the quests are a variation of exploring, making stuff, and buying stuff, and figuring out how to do those things. And the other things the game offers are dressing up your avatar and socialising (in game and in forums, groups etc). The only other computer game I've played really is Guild Wars. The graphics were certainly a lot better which I guess is the difference between what Flash can do and whatever GW uses, no big deal. But in GW while I felt there was too much emphasis on fighting, it did offer more exciting challenges/quests. Overcoming obstacles, defeating foes, figuring out puzzles. An interesting thing is that both games force you to do some quests with other players - if you want to do everything. Though GW now has characters who can stand in for real people.
I think Glitch needs more quests that are of a different nature, that fire up the adrenalin. Somewhere in between the rook quest (demonstrably impossible) and the easy ones.
