The Bad Juju isn't the only bandit in Ancestral Lands!

There's also a Terrible Lag Monster!

Any ideas as to why the Ancestral Lands are so laggy, when they're usually far less populated than the conventional streets?  The only other time I see lag this bad is on a project street, and not always then!  I would understand lag in the Groddles, but out in nowheresville?

I suspect a conspiracy to make it easier for the Bandit to grab my stuff.  Humph.

  • The only time a bandit ever got me was when the lag held me against a signpost and let it (him?her?) take whatever it wanted.

  • The ancestral lands are mostly fine for me, but as soon as a Juju pops up I lag really terribly, and have lost items a few times because of that :[

  • Juju's cause a second or two of lag for me. It actually helps me know it's there if I'm playing with the sound off!

  • There's lag and then there's the disconnects by GOD.  They seem to be happening only in the ancestral lands.

  • GOD disconnects don't only happen in ancestral lands, but definitely more often than anywhere else.

  • There's also lag changing streets... Its frustrating been stuck, waiting at the signpost & see the time continue to tick down....

  • Workaround to avoid getting caught by the Juju at the signpost: jump and activate it while in mid-air. You'll hang in the air, out of the Juju's reach while the game deals with its lag and loads things for you.

  • Interesting.  I've been noticing that my lappy's tendency to overheat is far greater in the ancestral lands than anywhere else in the world.  (I need to get my computer serviced for sure, but I wonder if the lag and the heat issue may be connected.)

  • Oh!  Is there such a thing?  If so, my purpose in life is going to be to learn how to make it!!!

  • Juju Shooshoo powder has never been opened up to player mixing, as far as I know, sadly.
