I would love to be able to grow mushrooms in our gardens. Another idea is turning cherries into olives using the friut changer machine. That way we can make our own olive oil using the kitchen tool of the devs choice.
great idea! olive oil is a widely used ingredient that takes a lot of time to track down and a ton of space in inventory. if we couldn't change olives from cherries, maybe we could grow them and then convert them?
also would like to be able to grow oats. i have a pile of them a mile high on my floor in my house. because, like, that's a good way to store food ;)
we also can't grow parsnips. i would like to see what a parsnip plant looks like :)
I thought of growing and converting them too. But then I thought...where would they have room to put the olive trees and how far would we have to travel to get to them?
And, they would have to give me another dirt patch to plant mine because I use the other 3 for other trees :) Hopefully they let us have all the seeds required for all the recipes to grow our own...unless there is a reason not to. And I have no clue what that would be..... :S
ha that's hilarious- i didn't even remember that, uh, olives grow on trees. i thought maybe we could, like, plant them in our gardens :) (insert blonde joke here) then again, have you ever been in chat when the argument about strawberries and seeds get started?
so i like the compressing cherries idea. much better, and EXTREMELY realistic, or at least in glitch-land!
Awwww...ty greenkozi :) I too think olive oil takes up a lot inventory space. And I agree that they should have seeds to grow our own parsnips and oats. I have been curious why they don't. :) I love the gardening part of the game. So I grow garden and do as much cooking as I can :)
i wonder if we're neighbors- we can garden and cook together.
seriously, i think i like cooking so much because i'm SUCH a bad cook in real life. it's so easy to be so good in glitch, and i give people elaborate meals and they seem so happy, and nothing is every burnt or mushy, etc.
(i think i'm getting a little sick in the head getting excited to cook in a computer game... maybe i should go to a cooking class or something?)
