Transferring Items From SDBs

This isn't a Bug exactly but I wanted to post it where a Dev might see it.  Some SDB menus include a space to enter the amount of the item to transfer and a + and -.  That's all, no "Go".  I have difficulty with these because there is no "Go" included there as there is in other items with the same menu.  You have to highlight the amount and hit ENTER.  Then, if you are lucky, the items will go into inventory.  If you are not lucky (I am unlucky most of the time) the items stay in the SDB but you (me!) think you have the items only to discover later that you do not.

This has happened to me several times when trying to move metal rods into inventory.  I don't discover the error until I get to a Sloth and have nothing to feed it.  After about 3 mistakes (yes I can be slow to catch on) I have learned to note how many items are in a SDB and then to check the number of them after I think I have removed some.

Idea:  Make the menus all the same using the "Go" option.

  • Thank you!  yes it is not a Bug but it is irritating.  Besides, shouldn't all the menus be the same and have a "Go" on them?  I have a problem with it no matter if I use the keyboard or a mouse.  The Go button works but much of the time the menus without that button leave me without what I am trying to get.

  • I totally agree Brib Annie, as I also said in that other post

  • It may not be a bug but it has definitely been "bugging" me. It is not a question of whether you use the mouse to click on the SDB or use the keyboard. I always click and have lots of problems with this.
