I've been thinking through some of the possibilities the key system opens up, and decided to make a group to talk through some of the pros and cons of different group home-sharing / home access schemes. (i.e., a conversation far beyond "but what if you give a near-stranger a key and they steal your stuff?)
For example - a small circle of glitchen could share access to one or more homes and rotate intensive herdkeeping and gardening tasks, share in the harvests, and free up time for wandering / mining.
Anyway, instead of just saying "who wants to be roommates with benefits?" and then trying to work out details, I thought I'd start up a group to discuss various possibilities, so that glitchen drawn to different variations on the theme can meet up and enter into corresponding experimental living arrangements together.
Join the public group "Cooperative and Communal Living: The Dawning of the Age of Keyrings"! Naysayers and skeptics are encouraged, as utopians will need our ideas tested. Freeriders and ne'er-do-wells, though, will be outed, splanked, and shunned.
