Pockets in backpack

I've been playing the game for about a week, and one thing that constantly aggrevates me is the lack of organization and space in the pack.
I think if the backpack came with the alchemic section, tool section, food section, etc. it would be easier, espeically if they were much bigger. This is a big problem with me in the game: I find so many things, but have virtually nowhere to put them. Comment and criticize as you see fit.
Buying those bags for 1000 currants should either be much bigger or better organized in the pack.

  • Many players use a multi-bag set up, and rename the bags to help stay organized. If all the rocks go in one bag, and the cherries and beans in another... sorting as you go gets a little easier.

  • Wish I could set up rules on the bags in my backpack (i.e. food autos to the food bag, if full, defaults to the main backpack). Manually sorting is annoyingly tedious.

  • Yes. Inventory management is something that should be looked into. I am constantly shifting between my 3 small bags and 3 big bags trying to find 1 thing that I can't remember where it is. It would help those of us who aren't naturally gifted at organizing to be able to find our items more easily.

  • I think the inventory system is pretty well set up, it's large enough to hold what you need, but small enough it forces you to be organized.

I use a huge number of bags, many I carry all the time (raw materials, food and drinks, plant and animal material) and a lot of bags which sit on the floor of my house and I only use at specific times (seeds, cooking, mining, etc.)

I think the best trick is to keep an empty bag at the far left side of your inventory to catch any overflow from the primary level of inventory.
