Help with terrible resulotion...

The obvious answer is a new monitor/graphics card, I know...

Got a computer that I would like to play Glitch on. Problem is the monitor/graphics only support 640 x 480. Runs the game just fine but cuts off many areas of the screen. Anyone got a idea of a way I can get the whole window on the screen so I can see the entire interface?

  • I don't think flash scales. You could try pressing '-' but that might just reduce the text on the soundside.

  • Netbooks have the same issue...try playing in 'full screen'/F11 mode.  It might work like it does on the netbooks.

  • I have an Asus eee pc 4g, the first generation netbook, It has an 800x480 display. It is just barely possible to fit the whole Glitch game portion of the webpage on it in full-screen mode. I would say that 640x480 is never going to work. I like that sort of challenge, and just getting it to run playably on an underclocked* little eee pc was hard.

(*they actually underclocked the first gen. eee pc to 800 Mhz, for battery life)

  • Opera has a sliding scale  that i use when I'm on a netbook so the screen is adjusted correctly. You can try that, however I'm not sure how well Opera works with Glitch, i play on a desktop and haven't tried it on the netbook yet.

  • I don't know where you are, or what your personal circumstances may be, however if you can afford it, upgrade.  You can buy a second hand Dell GX620 Small Form Factor PC on Amazon for about £50, it will support 1280*1024, run XP just fine and play Glitch no problem.
