Confused About Subscriptions...

The popup says beta testers can sign up now for half off monthly subscriptions, but there aren't any monthly subscriptions available; also, each subscription available says it expires in one year -- no sign of six-months-for-twelve-months...unless the pricing is the 1/2-off price, i.e., the full prices are actually $60, $108, and $178?  Please clarify?

  • The full prices as listed now are half off - they actually would be $60, $108, and $180 full price.  So you are getting a deal!  You can also buy credits only.

  • $180 / 12 = $15 a month to get the subscriber benefits.

I honestly don't see Tiny Speck selling a lot of those. I already have more credits than I'll ever use... and those teleporation tokens keep piling up, esp. since I can use Energy to teleport places!

  • I'm confused about the length of them. When I got mine, it said that the subscription would start when the game gets out of beta. Yet, the page tells me it expires on June 8th.

  • We're still in Beta, technically. We just won't be reset after it goes live :)

  • Yes, I know. That's why I'm confused as to why it says my subscription ends on June 8.

  • Until the launch actually happens, the end date of the subscription is unknown. It'll get reset after the launch; this information is on your subscription page.

  • @Bashere 1 year for $180 comes out to less than 50 cents per day for one year , do the math. Why wouldn't they sell a ton of them?

  • Because I can spend 50 cents a day to play World of Warcraft, which has much more content than Glitch.

In fact, I do spend 50 cents a day to play World of Warcraft. I play that game about 1000 minutes a week (~16 hours a week). If you spend 16 hours a week playing Glitch... more power to ya.

The difference of course, is that you HAVE to pay 50 cents a day to play World of Warcraft. Paying 50 cents a day to Tiny Speck is optional. I can play 16 hours a week for FREE.

There's not a 50 cents a day "incentive" to play Glitch right now.
