Pour One for your Homies

After a glitch dies, and you can see their gravestone... if you have a tasty beverage onhand you should be able to Pour One For Your Homie onto their grave... thereby benefitting the recently deceased with a much needed mood boost that you have decided to sacrifice to them.

Make sense?

  • +1 this is a cute idea! There was a thread a while back about making gravestones have an option to leave food and drink "offerings" that would be locked the the gravestone until the deceased returned from hell. I like both variations.

  • This is a hilarious idea.

There would defiantly have to be some notification back to the deceased, maybe some kind of buff.

The additional energy boost would be nice for anyone returning from hell.

I also like the idea of leaving food at gravestones. Would definitely be useful if your Glitch died from lack of food. At least when he returns from hell, he'll have something to nourish himself with.

  • Definitely would have loved if someone had mooded me up at lower levels after a death. I invested in kinship and gardening and cooking so I died only from lack of attention or for progress towards the badge, but the mood killer was pretty bad. :( No exp! How awful.

I'd love to be able to contribute to people who haven't had much chance to play since I'll probably pick up blending and cocktail crafting by the end of the the next test. :)

    +1 billion!

  • Yes! I used to leave drinks at the headstones before I realized that they may have already risen again. I love your idea, Squorble.

  • +1 But only if there's special music (something to mimic that Boyz II Men song) that plays with the action. =D  Maybe it starts with a special cocktail the glitch has to whip up.

  • For those that would like the headstones to disappear sooner, how about this: After a certain amount of mood and/or energy is given, the headstone disappears. This gives yet another incentive to be generous to other players!

  • I do this anyway. I almost always inspect a gravestone, then make a drink. Sometimes I'll give it away to whoever is nearby, sometimes I'll just leave it near the gravestone. It would be cool to get some XP for it.

  • I'm still hoping for a "morbid curiosity" badge for inspecting the stones. Someone else brought this up a while back...
