This will take me a bit to get used to - potatoes, cabbage and other crops are no longer "food." Crops are the things I buy most often as ingredients in my cooking.
May we please have herbs back in their own section? It makes it difficult for me to see how herbs are doing at a glance. I only farm herbs - no access to crops. There are soooo many crops and seeds and I cannot at a glance judge how the herb market is doing. It takes many screens for me to see all the herbs and herb seeds now. :(
Ugh. Bleagh. Headache. Too much. Way over the top. Cluttered and muddled.
Utter nonsense ~but not in a good way.
I get the odd numbers/primary numbers quirk, but: Why make everything so awkward?
Gasses and bubbles together? Bubbles are more like beans or cherries. Bubbles are fruit. Transmogrifiable, just like cherries are, and fruit just like cherries.
I like having herbs and herb seeds together, that is a big improvement. But since absolutely nobody can farm both herbs and crops, it makes sense to put herbs and crops into separate categories.
I also would like to see ingots in the same category as chunks of various ores, so I can compare prices on chunks of metal and ingots of metal.
I really appreciate that TS is continuing to work on trying out new ways to make this game better for all of us.
I like most of the category changes. Not a big fan of tossing crops and herbs in together, and I wouldn't have labelled music blocks and gems "collectibles". But overall it's an improvement.
The section for keys is still broken for me (as it has been for the past three days)
I can see the list of all the keys for sale, but when I try to drill down into a specific key (to see the 6 auctions of Purple-Orange Circle keys) it kicks me back to the main auction listing of latest auctions...
Is it working properly for everyone else?
It is only doing this in keys for me....
It does seem strange that plain bubbles and gas are not in the "Basic Resources" category.
Anything that can be obtained directly from trees would seem to belong in the same category, as would things that can be obtained directly from animals (meat, milk, grain).
The organizational hierarchy is always going to leave some people upset. There will either be too many groups or too much stuff is put in the same group.
TS, is there anyway to have subcategories in the Auction house?
I also do not like crops and herbs in the same category. I think of bubbles and gasses as base resources, not their own separate thing, so don't like that either.
Oh dear. It was so convenient when herbs had their own category. I don't see the sense in mixing crops, herbs and gardening supplies. (well, I understand they didn't want to have a zillion categories, but still it made this specific category cluttered)
Dunno, I feel like it makes total sense to mix Herbs and Crops. They are effectively the same thing, there's just way more crops than herbs (so I can see why the herb growers would be upset). As a Crop farmer, it makes sense since it aligns better with Seeds.
Over all I like the new set up but I would suggest the house sort everything by type ie. tree beans together, ore listed together in a group, then the other stuff like basic tree picking together.

Maybe it would look less muddled, and more user friendly, if the categories were sectioned off into sub-groups, like for example: Basic Resources, could be separated into 'Basic Organic Resources' and 'Basic Non-Organic Resources'.
@awesomeosaurus - I was starting to think that I was the only one for whom the "keys" category was broken (esp the teal white keys). I hope that will get sorted soon.
I'm sure there will be continued tweaking as days go on.
Auctions now have separate categories for Herbalism Supplies and Croppery & Gardening Supplies; and base products from animals and trees are now included under Basic Resources. Thanks for your continuing feedback!
