Meat Collector and Milk Collector Not Working!?

Last few weeks my collectors haven't been collecting a single thing! I thought maybe it was the people who had keys to my house, so I revoked them for a few days, and still, nothing! It's quite annoying!

If anyone has any insight on why this is happening, let me know!

  • Collectors must not be directly on top of each other to work. Make sure you move just 0.1 planks away before dropping the next collector. This change was implemented to stop a bug that was being abused.

  • A bug that was being abused? What was it? Did it include all of them slowly getting filled up?Thanks for the news, I was wondering why mine weren't moving either! :) Thought I had no knowledge of a bug... Thanks to both you you!

  • It was in beta I believe...
Basically if you put one collector here, then tons somewhere else on top of each other, once the first one filled, then the second one filled, the rest would all fill with the second.

  • Do you have feeders and if so are the feeders empty?

  • How many feeders? Id there are more then 4 of each, that's why. They don't collect if there are more than 4 of the collectors.

  • At least in a large house, you can have nine meat collectors before they really don't work.   (At 4 you get a warning that you have too many, but that's just a warning.)  I have a friend who runs a large farm that way - about a dozen feeders, I think, and nine collectors.

  • If your have too many meat collectors and milkers, they will not really work well. I'm just assuming because I never notice when the warning effects me.

  • Go and try to nibble your piggies...if they let you nibble, then the collectors should work. if they deny your nibbling, either pet/feed them, and once you can collect manually again, your feeders should work.

....this is at least what i've found to work for me....

  • I haven't characterized it fully, but it seems to me that when I went from 2 to 3 collectors, my rate slowed down.  (Large house with a dozen happy piggies.)
