Dots on map bug

Sometimes when I access my map it shows everything in bold, even places that I know I haven't been to (been trying to get a ton of completist badges). It reverts once I get onto another street but I have to leave the street. Not sure what's causing this.

  • Happened to me last night and going to another street fixed it for me as well.

  • Yeah, we haven't quite figured that out.

Rest assured the game remembers where you have been.

  • I just had the same thing happen, only the reverse (map showed that I haven't been to a few streets, but I *know* I have because I have the badge). It "fixed" when I went to a new street. I took screenshots.

I assume this is a known bug so I don't need to report it?

  • I'm having the same problem too. Streets that I haven't been to show up un-dotted on the map. I can't file a bug report though cause my flash is to old. *sigh*

  • The only new region this bug appears to be occurring on is Tahli. All the other new regions appear to work fine.

  • Sweet Stuff Ng- you are using 10.3 Flash, a move to Flash 11 is encouraged. :)

TomC- yeah, I've seen it in Groddle Forest myself, and a couple other places.

We tried a fix yesterday that didn't seem to do the job. So, it goes on a bit more!

  • I tried updating Flash. It says that since I'm using Chrome it should be updating automatically.... but obviously it's not. :( Any advice?

  • Sweet Stuff Ng- try updating Chrome itself, it is behind several versions. I am going to guess the app is set to not self update (including Flash); you are on version 14 of Chrome, and the current is 18.

Click the wrench/spanner icon in the upper right, and look at the 'About Chrome' menu item to look for a button that allows you to update it. That'll probably do the trick. :)

  • Thanks a lot kevbob. This is actually my dad's computer though (I'm still under 18), and I think he purposefully set it up for Chrome to not automatically update. He doesn't like to change the software to something he might not like. I guess I'll just have to skip out on the updating. :(

Thanks again for you help kevbob. XOXO
