Thanks Tiny Speck!

Another Test has come and gone.  There were additions and changes, ups and downs and lots of discussion about these things.  I liked and disliked, loved and hated, laughed, and cried.  I guess I ran the whole gamut of emotions this time, more so than any other test since I got here in March.  I love the wardrobe additions!  I hated the gardening changes.  I bought parsnips, I lost parsnips, I bought parsnips again.  I discovered several new locations and probably participated in more street "jobs" than ever before.  I ran from jujus, I chased jujus - LOL!  I discovered a new sub station and I got stuck on the sub after boarding at Onto Parada.  I teled out of the sub and had no more problems when I rode again.  Although there were a few minor glitches, I had few problems.  I refreshed a few times when my little Glitch began to enjoy running too much.  I experienced only the one server crash (or whatever) but all in all, there were few problems and a great deal of fun.

I can feel the push toward opening day and look forward to the Reset.  I am anxious to begin again and do many things for a second time.  I had felt badly for a while that I was going to lose what it took me so long to get, my Skills, my home, my currants and most of all my Food!  Now though I think I can deal with the loss and am beginning to get excited.  I know that you have many plans for the future of Glitch and I plan to be here to experience it all!  I thank you most heartily for the great fun and all of the hard work that everyone at TS has put in to make this such a wonderful, addictive game experience!

  • I admit, I didn't get to play NEARLY as much as I would've liked to for this test. But for the time that I did play, I had an absolute blast. I love Glitch. It's like it was made for me. And it's the awesome devs and staff that work behind the scenes that really make this game what it is. So...

THANK YOU DEVS AND STAFF FOR ALL THAT YOU DO! WE LOVE YOU! :D

  • I was invited to the beta maybe three days ago, so my opinion might be invalid.

However, I've been following the development of Glitch since I applied for the beta, maybe a month or two ago, so maybe my opinion is valid after all.

After my invite, I was allowed to play for maybe two days before the current test ended.  Since then, I was allowed to see and experience all the things I'd only so far read about on the homepage updates.  As a longtime gamer, I am happy to see such original and creative ideas being put forth by the developers.  In a world of Call of Duty and World of Warcraft, Glitch stands alone as one of the freshest IP's to come out in the past decade.  And it's all thanks to a personal touch from the creators and active involvement from the players.

You've restored my faith in the gaming community, Glitch.  Thank you.

  • Same here, Tanukihat, I got the beta invite and started playing for about 2 days as well, and this is by far the most creative mmorpg I've come across in awhile now. Thank you and please continue with such great ideas; I really look forward to the actual game release!  :)

  • I agree with Fi - I'm enjoying the fruits of my skills right now... making thousands of currants for half an hour's mining, whipping up delicious meals, teleporting around the map as the mood takes me... but I actually look forward to the whole thing starting again and having to massage butterflies and save up for every little thing I need.

  • +100 as well.  And I am ready for the reset....lol when I have an entire bags full of drinks, awesome stews, gems, bubbles, beans, potatoes, spice etc and have 2 full alchemy pouches (you get the idea) it is time to reset!

  • I'm so new that I'm a bit hesitant to contribute.
Thank you Tiny Specl team for making a massive, social, fun, GAME. Thank you for returning the concept of play to an increasingly serious genre of gaming. It's like playing my first MUD when I was 13 again, the world of whimsy and imagination. Thank you for creating a game that has attracted one of the most passionate and level-headed communities I've ever had the pleasure to be part of (ONLY PLAYED FOR THREE DAYS).

    Thank you thank you!!

Especially, of course, as you seem to really be enjoying the game :D  Its great to know that you, as a new player, find it enchanting, unique and fun!
