Subscription Options

I'd like to make sure I understand subscription options.  I have some friends who are interested in Glitch, and I want to make sure I provide accurate information.  Here's my understanding:  After launch three subscription plans will be available:  Tin @ $4.99/mo, Copper @ $8.99/mo, and Molybdenum @ $14.99/mo.  So here are my questions:

(1)  Will month-to-month billing be available (automatically charged to credit card), or must a minimum of a one-year subscription be purchased?

(2) Will referendum votes be accumulated at a rate of 5 per month?  If not, how will they be accumulated?

(3) What will happen to accumulated referendum votes after a subscription expires?

(4) As I understand it, subscriber-only items that require purchase with credits will be retained after a subscription expires, but free items will be lost.  Is this correct?

(5) Will it be possible to change the owner (i.e. billing name, address, etc.) for an active Glitch subscription?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me to answers.

  • I am not a TS employee so none of my answers should be considered final.
    (1) TS has mentioned the possibility of monthly plans but not an schedule on when those might become available.
    (2) Votes accumulate monthly, just like credits and tokens.
    (3) I don't know this, but I imagine you retain them, just like credits and tokens.
    (4) This is my understanding.
    (5) No idea.

  • Thanks, Lord B.  Realizing that this is a question for TS, I've opened a help case.

  • Special during beta!
    • Buy six months and you get twelve: Annual subscriptions, half offMonth-to-month subscriptions start when we launch, but this deal will be long gone ;)
    • And! Subscriptions don’t start counting down till we launchDuring the beta period you will not be using any of your subscription time
    • And! You get all the benefits during beta anywayEven though the time isn’t being counted yet, subscriber benefits start the day you purchase
It looks like you also have the "regular" month-to-month after beta prices exactly as what they say also.
