hey rev - you sly fox. haven't seen you for a long time. everything ok? i've never heard of lewis ck before, but i liked him. what he said is true - can little kids tell the time from a clock with hands? it's funny to think of all the changes that have happened during my life time. i think changes will happen faster in the future. whoda thought we would have machines to connect us with people? thank God we have starbucks, in case we need a hug.
.
lol the starbucks comment.. I tell you all go listen to Soul Coughing (Mike Doughty)'s song - Busting up a Starbucks I think this should be Louie's theme song for this clip any way
Now I can't stop youtubing Louis C.K. jokes perfect way to kill a wednesday morning when OMG glitch is broken *taps non existent watch on wrist* LIKE I NEED TO PLAY THIS I WILL DIE OH MUH GAH *upward inflection angry jerk teenager annoying sound*
It's so true though! We have this awesome game and lots of people complain when it goes down or if it isn't up at 6AM the next morning, I mean, yeah, I want to pet my piggies and tend my crops (especially when waiting for the computer at work to finish saving a giant file), but I can wait until everything is fixed up and happy again.
We do live in a time of laziness no doubt about it. This and the next generation expect everything instantaneously for sure. We need REAL teleporting skills so I can teleport Louis to my lil pc/music room and summon him to tell jokes. SUMMON HIM NOW!! TELL ME JOKES
I'M HAPPYYYYYYY !!
Disappointed but still happy.
But not in Louis C.K. cuz he's the mothaflippin amazing funny fella. I look forward to watching his new stuff. Wildfred is awesome sauce too.. Brilliant show. And while on the topic of brilliance Mad Men and Breaking Bad are amazing too and and and SO IS COOKIE BUTTER... TRADER JOE'S COOKIE BUTTER IT IS AMAZINGGGGGGGGG..... AMAZINGLY YUMMY AND AMAZINGLY WILL PROBABLY GIVE PEOPLE DIABETES! You rock Trader Joe's. Louis C.K. is the equivalent of cookie butter.. just can't get enough.. like sugar free jazz.
Rev... I don't understand how we like so many of the same awesome things, and yet have such a fundamentally diverse opinion on wizards vs. mutants. (ehehehe)
Little Peep: Things are fine... Oh and about changes... Information is replicating faster and faster. We have not caught up the the technology we have right now.
Strawberry: Gotta get that serotonin fix from the virtual accomplishment. The brain does not know the difference, much like mirror neurons.
PeanutbuttahJelleh: Cookie Butter? This sounds life changing.
Havok: You want to bring the nerd fight here? You're on! Wizards can make mutants with their minds, so I don't hate mutants. I just think they are like revenants to a vampire. :P
So I clicked on this link and spent the next two hours watching his stand up on youtube. I've always been a fan of his. I remember the first time I saw Shameless on HBO, I almost died from laughing. I think it was also the first time my ex-bf realized my sick sense of humor. Anyways, thanks for posting. After watching multiple videos, I checked out Russell Peters because he's HILARIOUS but in a different way.
That just sums everything up in Glitch. It's amazing! We can sit on our butts at home at communicate. . .for free!. . .with people all over the world thanks to a bunch of people in California.
I watched most of it during the stoot talk video someone else posted. Which was good! I am not really into talks since I get my fill in school but he was interesting.
Even thought it is in entertainment, he has some great points.
We take so much for granted- but what does that mean?
Humans have been trying to figure out better tools for most of our existence- with maybe exception during the dark ages.
So is it being spoiled, or is it being aware that there could be something better and desiring it?
I think people should question and keep pressing for more because this is how great things to happen.
So your cell phone is going to space - yeah huge improvement but should we just settle when there may be a day in the future when thoughts travel without phones!
I am not saying the " spoiled ones" are aware of the contribution they give toward making something more technologically advanced, but if no one desired anything we wouldn't need technology and we wouldn't have made the effort to create what we have.
I didn't hear/watch soot's video but maybe TS could continue focusing on getting Glitch to market...
People do expect way too much, but TS does NOT have to respond to every wiener/complainer regarding the content as it's provided here in BETA - as Glitch is still under construction.
While Glitch is still in BETA, please TS stay focused on gettin this product to market!!
No need to be too involved with user feedback at this point, please us OUT OF BETA, Relaunch the Glitch, or as Lord Bacon-o says, "The Great UnReBeta'ing."
Then once the 2nd Ready For Prime TIme happens, continue to do your best to promote Glitch and expand the user base beyond it's current very small number.
