On second thought... I can see how making it harder for higher level players to get around thereby slows them down a bit, and how there is some merit with that.
If that's the objective... wouldn't a modifier based on your teleports per day, with the skill granting an additional teleport before the modifier kicks in (like Better Learning does) achieve the goal? If your first teleport per day costs 50 energy, your second might cost x2, your third x3... but teleport 2 makes your second x1, third x2... and teleport 3 makes your third x1 and fourth x2.
I know it's all coded and ready for us to start testing (or darned close to it), and I should wait and see how it works.... Just having a hard time wrapping my head around spending a massive and increasing amount of energy per teleport.
Actually, I do have a question about the Teleportation II skill. It says that it will use less energy to teleport, but instead of being 50 energy to teleport which is what it was last test (and I didn't check to see what it was before changing skill level); it's now 129 energy to teleport now that I have Teleportation II. I also went up a level, did that affect my teleporting (or did you increase the base cost of teleporting and I wasn't paying attention)?
