I am constantly amazed by the art in Glitch. When I first entered the Game back in March 2011 I was not too sure I liked it. I had come from a game with depth of field. I was used to walking all over in any direction and Glitch was so linear. I wanted to walk up the Groddle hills in the background and smell the flowers but, alas, I could only stand and look at them from afar. As I gazed at the places I longed to walk to I realized how very excellent the art was. I decided to stay a bit longer and see what else there was so I wandered from street to street. I think that maybe the 4th street was one with a mountainous theme and people were mining. I thought to myself, "Well here is some more great art and although I can't move into the distance I can climb up!" I loved it! It wasn't long before I discovered IX. I don't know if it was on the first day I played but if not, it was very soon after. When I saw IX I was totally hooked and there was no leaving for any other game no matter how much "depth" it might have.
Now, a little over a year later, we have tests for the new housing and it just blows me away. Some of the best artistic creativity to date! Now, if I choose, I can have the beauty of every location right in my own yard, in my own house! I can live in IX if I choose or Groddle or Andra or Alakol or even in a Bog. And, oh those beautiful, crazy house designs! I am on my second exterior and my second landscape. I have not tried IX yet. I am keeping that as a future delight.
I Thank the artists whole heartedly for such a Eye Fest as I could only dream of otherwise! Thanks to Tiny Speck for having the good judgement to employ such creators and for offering all this beauty to us! I am so touched and feel so fortunate to be here.
