That was a great test!!!! Thanks so much for all the hard work you do! It's just amazing to me that when there's a bug, there are our "Super Devs" to show up and save the day! Hey, maybe you don't need Staff shirts, but rather Capes!!!
Thank you so much for letting me play! :-)
I started cooking food. While I remembered how much fun cooking is (and more so with the new interface,) I forgot how quickly it becomes confusing in regards to what recipes you've made and which one's you have not.
I really enjoyed this longer test and am always impressed with the changes implemented each test, this game is already awesome, but the Glitch team manage to make it remarkably better all the time.
Much smoother test again. Really hated the peat quest. Please have a look at that before the next test! Lots of improvements made, and great to see things coming along so nicely.
All in all, lots of bugs found and reported, and even over the couple of days I noticed many of them being fixed. Thanks Beefcake for your help, and debug support.
I was very impressed by the speed improvements since the last time I tried this, and had a heck of a time. I agree with Zaphod that cooking is great but it's hard to remember what you've made and what you haven't (particularly when you've got, like, 30 recipes for one tool). Some sort of checkmark icon, maybe, in each recipe's box would go a long way toward alleviating that confusion.
Ready to shoot them wretched butterflies, but apart from that, I had a great time!
I did a lot of, no, correction, Rocky did a lot of learning, and I did a lot of exploring,
I made mini~maps, and bit by bit, I plan on travelling all roads. I thoroughly enjoyed
this extended play time, though I must admit it's high time I go to bed ~it is 12:30'ish AM
I canny wait for the next open day(s)!!! Really looking forward to Glitch being open 24/7!
Was great to have a longer ish test and I can't wait till next week for more. However, it was the worst test for me in that Flash crashed 4 times within the last 4 hrs of the game being open. I did report each one and am not sure if it was my comp or the heavy volume of players of what. Maybe I will try different browser next week.
Thank you so much for the test - I had a rocky start at first with Safari in Vista, but FireFox cleared up all my issues. I had a great time poking around; everything was smooth and worked like a charm. I can't wait for the next test! (Oh, and a big "Hi~!" to all you great Glitches out there!)
Super fun test! I'm sorry it's over, and can't wait for the next one! Firefox is very good to use for the game (no crashes), and I only had a few minor bugs (which I reported). The lag was slightly worse than last time (I assume because there were more people on), but still manageable. Thanks for all your hard work, devs!
@ Sherbert: Um, I think they definitely do know the meaning of that word...and probably think it's pretty funny (have you noticed all the other suggestive things the trees and pigs say to you?). Just my thought there!
As to the test, it ran fantastically for me gamewise, even using Chrome. No Flash crashes for me. The only problem I had was that after long play periods suddenly the group chat would crash and I'd have to reload to get back in. So not a big deal overall for me though.
Very fun test. I love the changes to the garden. but a spice plant near by got confused with the garden patch. Also, I learned Levitation - but not really sure what it means......
Rascalmom, I never thought about the other comments made in the game. Now i think about it you are probably right. Guess that would answer the question about the age of the target group for the game though!
