Preliminary report on Upgrade quoin collecting scenarios

Of the ones I've been able to do the math on, I get the best iMG return from Sky Plunge, followed in order by Starlit Night, Radial Heights, and Cloud Flight.

I didn't track Favor, and I haven't been able to keep records on Arbor Hollow yet.

At my level, cost to activate each card is 2000 iMG (not 5K as I reported elsewhere). The cards yield at least twice that in iMG profit. So, not a bad deal, but not something wildly better than a quick trip to the Ancestral Lands.

Anybody else care to chime in?

  • If the cards actually do give around the same iMG as a trip through the ALs, then I much prefer the cards cause they're a lot faster... it's 10 minutes vs. ~1 minute for the same amount of iMG.

Plus, given a large enough collection of the cards, I imagine they provide another nice method of getting the daily quion limit badges, in addition to the lovely new quion islands.

  • No... not the same as a FULL haul from AL, which is much better. But I can get the same amount from 3 or 4 AL streets, which is about as quick.

  • There is, however, a certain fun quotient involved. At least at first, even if one tires easily.

  • I have only used 2 cards, but my NET img gain on the second was only about 840 img.  Fun to do, but not better than AL.   So, less than two quorzy quoins, and about the same as a very high-value img quoin in Roobrik/Belzare.

  • Has anyone figured out what factors are involved in the iMG cost to activate the cards? Me and my friend are both the same level, but I pay over 500 iMG and he pays somewhere in thr 400 iMG range. My theory is that it might have some tie to our quoin multiplier, since mine seemed to go up after I purchased a few upgrades, but I haven't actually tested that theory.

  • Kalmiopsis-  I believe in a different thread I was reading a few glitches said they thought it went off their quion multiplier, so I think that's probably right.

  • Yup, definitely quoin multiplier. Pascale, for example, is higher level than me but we both have the same multiplier (100x) and I pay the same 2000.

  • And I have a quoin multiplier of 80 and pay 1600 iIMG so it seems like 20x your quoin multipler is the iMG cost. (FWIW, I'm level 46, but it appears level isn't considered.)
