I was going to +1 this, but then I remembered two things;
1. There are only like..five ? kinds of seeds, certainly if in the future there are more that would be great. it just seems like a base slot to hold five kinds of seeds is not the best use of a precious base slot...I could put a bag in that slot and hold my seeds and 11 other things too!
2. You don't really need to know "where" your seeds are while gardening because you can just click on a prepared patch that is ready for seeding and a dialogue showing you all your seeds and their quantities appears, so that you can select one to plant.
Now if that dialogue would let me select more than one seed at a time, that would be something. (but that's off topic, sorry).
+1 I'm all for distinctive storage for groups of items. The toolbox is so easy to find in the backpack. A seed bag is great idea. And how about a lunch box for food, a six-pack for drinks, a veg basket and a fruit box?
I think there's 13 different crop seeds... plus 7 herb seeds (yeah, I've spent too much time gardening).
Personally, I tend to just make the crop seeds whenever I've got a plot free or I'm running low on something. Feed pig, examine plop, pick up seeds, plant seeds. So I don't need space to carry the seeds around. Just the way I personally play.
However I *would* love a bag specifically for my crops. It's always a struggle finding where my carrots ended up :-)
I don't want another type of bag, but I do want a larger stack size for herb seeds. We can stack 24 purple, yellow crumb, or silvertongue seeds, but only 16 rookswort, rubeweed, or hairball. Herb stacks are far too small, too.
