Making platforms stand out and two other suggestions

When jumping and walking around in the game, I've had trouble deciphering what constitutes a platform, especially with tree branches. There are also doors that are just background images and doors that I can actually use, but the two do not appear singificantly different to the eye. 

And this is just me, but I'm not really getting the whole "in the mind of giants" aspect while playing the game. Is there a way the connection to the world could be made more obvious?

It would also be helpful to me to have fewer things with "Groddle" in the title. I kept getting confused as to where I was and where I needed to go. 

Overall though, I have greatly enjoyed the game so far.

  • The doors that you can use should get a glowing blue outline when you are close enough to use them.

    One thing to watch for that helps you find platforms is quoins hovering above the spot where you need to go.  If there's a quoin that you can't reach, try jumping to the rock or branch they are above.  Often the quoins serve as path markers to alternative routes.
