If credits are exchanged for real cash at all. Which they probably will be. But, well, I would hope for at least 250 for €10. Wait, how many £s does that convert to?
$4 for 40 credits means some of the clothing would cost over $8 an article... I'm not paying nearly as much for a t-shirt in Glitch as I would for my kid in RL. Sorry, but that kind of exchange rate will most certainly cause me to stay on the free side of things and never invest money in Glitch.
We haven't settled on final prices yet, but we do know that we'll be progressively discounting the more you buy. At the most expensive rate (e.g., fewest bought at a time) they will definitely be cheaper than $4 for 40 and at the least expensive rate (e.g., most bought at a time) they will be cheaper than 250 for €10 ;)
There will also be multiple tiers of subscription: the basic one and two higher, each of which come with a stipend in credits and teleportation tokens which end up cheaper than buying a la carte.
Besides wardrobe items, what is purchased with credits?
Will there be some items only for cash paying players or will players be able to pay with earned currency?
In Faunasphere a real money item could be sold on the market for in game currency. It made the marketplace interesting and the game play accessible to all.
I definitely want to purchase credits and support "Glitch" - but I would like a subscription (monthly automatic deductions on my credit card) - which I hear will be an option. Will this be available in the Beta stage? I would like to subscribe and perhaps benefit from the Beta benefits too............ is that a possibility.
Also I have not seen what currency the crdits are in USD or Cdn? - I am a Canadian and see the game founders are from Vancouver & San Franscisco so which is is please.
This affects which credit card I will use.
I trust credits will be expanded so I can dress up my home and decorate it and do other fun things - I like my Avatar look so do not see me changing it too often. I have faith that Glitch will keep it's subscribers happy so I will definitely purchase in good faith - question is when can I buy??? Thank you
Sorry I went to home page and do not see whoa whoa I see account - etc am I in the wrong home page please send me a link - is the currency USD or CDN please so I canb be ready. Thank you Firestone 160
Dah! Yes I saw this and clicked on this originally but I do not see monthly subscriptions just a one time purchase and it does not seem to say what currency unless I totally missed it as I missed whoa whoa - sorry...........
PEKES - currently, credits can be purchased a-la-carte. Subscriptions are *currently* free in beta, so there's nothing to sign up for yet. I believe all pricing is in USD (that's how it appears in my browser), and any exchange rate / fee questions should be directed to your card provider.
