Discussion: Paid App Clarification

A user is currently using the forums to advertise an API-enabled application that they sell: www.glitch.com/forum/genera...

This seems to be in contradiction to the Terms of Use. When questioned about the reason for the cost, the response from the user was "Because I chose to." There was no mention of getting Tiny Speck's prior written consent.

Can we get a clarification on whether or not selling these Glitch API based apps by default is allowed by Tiny Speck?

I ask because I am sure there are quite a few of us who are not using advertisements or paid apps due to the ToS but who would like to. If Tiny Speck allows apps like the one listed above to be sold, shouldn't all apps be given the same permission?
"A user is currently using the forums to advertise an API-enabled application that they sell"

No, not quite. I posted about a free, on-line achievements checker. In that thread, one person asked a direct (but off-topic) question about the iPad app, so I gave them a reply.

"This seems to be in contradiction to the Terms of Use."

No, it's not. Before releasing the app, I sought permission from Tiny Speck. They granted permission.
