Auction says hoe 1 currant

When I went to sell a new hoe the auction window told me that the lowest price for a new hoe was 1 currant... Thinking this odd I went and looked at the listings. I found two hoes at 50 currants each, so this appears to be a bug.

Edit: Same thing with a new fancy pick, it says the lowest price is 4 currants... Yet the listings show the lowest price to be 899. I'm thinking it's referring to the price per unit of wear, but instead of saying per unit of wear it says per item.

  • Yes, it's price per unit wear.  The bug being that it doesn't show that description correctly in the Auction information.

  • Basically it's a good idea to show price per usable units, but it's not very practical as it makes 'reading the market' awkward, because you still don't know what the cheapest tool actually costs until you look at the whole list of any given tool.
That aside (once you have the skill to repair tools) it doesn't really matter how many uses, if any, are left, you can repair it and it'll be good as new.
However, knowing whether a tool is new, used, or even broken *is* important to know before buying, but the price per 'usable unit' doesn't really help much.
