Hi! I made a thing! A thing that you might like! A plush version of my Glitch! I love exclamation points!

Hello fellow glitches! I made a plush version of my glitchian self and I wanted to share it with other people who might appreciate it. I hope you like it!

She is about a foot tall, she's constructed from polar fleece and polyfil so that makes her super squashy. I'm not the kind of sewer who makes clothes so I put on a simple outfit, but she matches my avatar. I love her crazy yarn ponytail and she took me a few hours each night for the past few days. The hardest part was trying to copy the teeny tiny features on my computer screen, so think I am pretty close but took some artistic liberty in the details ( especially in the smile!). Yay, squishy plush glitch!

If this is in the wrong place, please move it or tell me and I'll delete and re-post :-)

  • Well, I'm not exactly a youngster ;-) but I will say that it was MY granny who fostered an interest in sewing in me at a very early age. I wasn't allowed to touch sharp things like scissors, needles and pins until I was 4 or 5, but she taught me how to thread her sewing machine when I was 7 and the rest is history. I guess I have been sewing for 25+ years but I didn't start making plushies until about 5 years ago. I wish she was still around so I could hug her and say thank you. This stuff makes me so happy! Thank you for all of your compliments!

  • It was my Grandma that taught me to sew, as well.  I've never tried making a plushie, but (as I said) if I ever get inspired, I'll give it a go!
