Can we please synch the sound of the miners pick and hitting the rock?

I know there are many other more important things but that is just annoying to see it swinging away and its not even remotely in synch with the sound.  Thankies.

  • A moose man eh? Hrmph.

Anyhow! We know it can be kind of annoying, but we can't sync these with way we use sound and Flash. We might do something else with this sound/action combination someday; but in this case, this is what we have.

And someday is fine, it just looks wonky as it is.

  • that's weird.  I thought it was out of sync on my laptop because the processor isn't great on it.  On my main PC it always appears to mine in sync for me! I'll have to look more closely next time to be sure :)

  • I think this is the reason Casarat
The sound is always played as constant loop while the graphics tend to add
additional lagging time depending on the will of the giants (or people's setup)

  • It bothers me too!  Maybe a less literal sound for mining?

  • I've been sitting here for five minutes trying to think of what would possibly qualify as a non-literal mining sound and the best I can come up with is the rock crying in pain.

Ow! Ow! Ow! Heh. That would be pretty awesome.

  • Heh, I love Sirentist's idea.  Though, it would be less soothing to listen to while working away.

I wonder how many people are not bothered by the lack of sync.  It totally doesn't bother me, for instance.  But, I've worked with Flash before, so I knew what to expect from the beginning.

Also, my brain interprets it as if I'm watching it from very far away, where the visual and the audio would arrive at different times (though it's a little backward, the sound being faster, but this is Glitch!).
