Skill Learning - The Final Countdown?

If we're all about to lose everything we've accomplished thus far, could the protracted learning durations be removed or drastically shortened, so more of us can try/test/enjoy the higher level skills that are going to take longer to complete than we have time left in the beta?  I'd like very much to get to a point where I can explore Fuelmaking, Mining IV, etc., but I literally don't have enough hours left in the world to even learn these things, much less explore them.

  • I agree with you on shortening the length of some of the skills due to the fact that going live is looming on the horizon. However, I've been trying to donate to shrines and then using the favor to ramp up the learning rate thus cutting the learning time - in many cases - in half. I'm just about through the skill tree unless more skills pop up along the way. lol

Long story short: donate to shrines and use favor to speed up learning. Will it help you reach your goals?  Just a thought.   :o)

  • I've been donating like crazy to try gathering (and spending) emblems to open up the skill tree; with the skills levels I'm hitting these days, I figure my favor points are more valuable toward emblems and unlocking additional skills than barely shaving a few hours off of a 7-day learning duration.  I'm going for quantity over quality I guess, but I'd rather do both!

  • Donating to giants to reduce learning speed isn't really worth it... I just spent 1511 favor to knock 3 hours off a 9 DAY skill. Heh.
