All my butterflies reverted to egg form!

Strangest thing.. I log in this morning, and all my butterflies are gone, but there are eggs on the ground alongside milk. I don't think it's a bug...more like the admins reset my butterflies.

Did this happen to anyone else?

  • I went into my backyard and found all my butterflies PLUS a pile of eggs... just random?

How many others have found butterfly eggs in their yard?

  • @g33kgurrl... I didn't buy them all at the same time... but they all died at the same time... and left eggs in their wake? I thought they simply ceased to exist when they died... I mean, what would be the point of them dying if they left you with an egg every time they died?

  • Mine have died but only left a couple bottles of milk, not eggs.

  • three of mine died recently and left bottles of milk strewn on the ground, but the last one to die left ten eggs instead.

  • Same thing here. The were dying off sorta slowly, like a couple or three every few hours. One time there was a pile of 10 eggs alongside the milks.

  • 4 died, giving rise to 20 eggs and 4 bottles of milk. Better than a few piles of meat.

  • Weird! The butterflies are regressing? (Too bad we don't have a Sigmund Freud doll...) If anyone else has been seeing this, let us know.

  • I just saw this, having read several forum posts about it: butterflies went from 12 to 5, with about 15 milk (in random piles) and 10 eggs left behind.

  • A Freud doll would make my entire year.

  • Never mind! The butterfly rumor mill was all aflutter about it this morning, and as it turns out...*sometimes* butterflies finished off by milkers have a slight chance of being reborn, phoenix-style.

  • Sounds Cool ^^. After death comes life.

  • Perhaps a single egg left behind would make more sense. (Don't think I'm not thrilled about having tens of extras, but it seems unnecessarily extravagant.  It's not like we're talking rabbits here.)

  • Oh I had this a few days ago!
Its a random thing. The butterflies may spawn butterfly eggs (10eggs) and they drop milks when they die. Its nice that it kinda *gives back* and continues your butterfly herd.
We were joking around that the butterflies were *gettin' bizaay* LOL
