Comprehensive Lists of Glitch Numbers & Statistics (New List: Home Street Styles; Updated Lists: Vendor Item Prices, Item Stack Sizes; Win 10,000 currants for every mistake you find (if any))

For people who may be bored or want to stare at numbers, here are some lists of data and statistics involving parts of the Glitch game that may or may not be of any use:

  • Vendor Item Prices - A list of items, their base values, and how much they would sell for at various vendors. (Updated to reflect price changes that occurred on April 11 2012; Updated again on November 13 2012 to reflect all new changes.)

  • Item Stack Sizes - A list of items, how many of each will fit in an inventory slot, a Storage Display Box, and the sum of the base values for each item in each full stack of inventory slot and full Storage Display Box.

  • Achievements Rarity - A list of the relatively most difficult / time-consuming achievements and approximate rarity comparison among achieved achievements.

  • Zilloween Dates - A time table of when Zilloween occurs in Earth days.

  • Level 60's - A list of players who reached Level 60 before the Imagination switch.

  • Level 60's (iMG) - A list of players who reached Level 60 in the new Imagination system.

  • Imagination & Level - Charts with Total Imagination and Imagination to Gain at each level.

  • Upgrades - A list of all upgrades. 242 found so far.

  • Upgrades by Cost - A list of all upgrades ordered by cost.

  • Upgrades by Bonus Type - A list of all upgrades ordered by bonus type (circular icon at the bottom right of the upgrade symbol).

  • Upgrades by Function - A list of all upgrades ordered by official Glitch upgrades categorization.

  • Food iMG Bonus - A list of food items and the bonus iMG awarded with the Appreciation of Food Variety upgrade card.

  • Cubimals - A list of cubimals and data on releasable status and iMG reward.

  • Upgrades Success Button Exclamations - A list of the various exclamations in the buttons you click after purchasing an upgrade card.

  • Loading Screen Tips - A list of all the various tips you may see while the game is loading.

  • Home Street Styles - There are currently 36 different home street styles.

Random Trivia:

  • There are items with base values from 1 to 42 except for 16; no item is worth 16 currants by default (as of April 8 2012).

  • The single most expensive Storage Display Box combination would be 1000 Nylon Phool Party Packs with total base value of 30,000,000 currants.

  • Elements, bags/containers, Contraband, and Hogtied Ilmenskie Jones cannot be placed inside Storage Display Boxes. Faded Heart can now be placed in SBDs.

  • Between February 2 2012 and May 2 2012 (the iMG switch) at least one player has reached Level 60 of the old XP system every day.

  • The oldest item in the current game platform is the Apple, followed by Orange, then Banana.

  • The Glitch Calendar started on April 1, 2009, 1:00 am UTC.

  • Thanks everyone for the info and feedback; updated a few more data points for the newer brain upgrade costs.

Updated all iMG data up to Level 60 with updated charts (which according to staff is still the level cap, but iMG can still be earned after level 60; not sure how it works yet). It will take 23,041,093 iMG total to reach Level 60 in the new system.

  • TomC - I'm not sure if you know that the 1.0 quoin multiplier cost does not seem to cap out at 40K once you reach a multiplier of 19.0 or greater.  Mine had been 40K up to getting a multiplier of 25.6.  Just got a 1.0 upgrade card and the cost is now 50K.

Name of Card: Add 1.0 to your Quoin Mulitplier
    iMG Price: 50,000
    Current Quoin Mulitplier: 25.6

ETA - doh!, didn't see post above already listing the upgrade cost increase.

  • Thanks everyone for the new data; yes still collecting missing data points (a ton left still - I started out with a 37 Brain Capacity so won't be able to see the prices for anything below that on my own account).

dmnddgs, yeah the Quoin Multiplier card prices went up a few days ago when they also decided to cap the Quoin Multiplier at 100x. Need new data points for all of those cards, too. Thanks again for all the info!

Tibbi, Faded Heart is just one of those special items that can't be dropped (normally) and can't go in SDB's. It also appears that the new cabinets can't hold special items any more, whereas the old housing's cabinets could.

  • Yep, still keeping track, thank you very much! Updated the main upgrades list and upgrades by cost list (234 total so far; 34 new upgrade cards). All 219 static-priced upgrades cost a total of 764,365 iMG.

Just want to say thank you for all you do.
Whenever I see your name as "instigator" of a thread, no matter how tired/bored or sleepy I am, I absolutely must jump in to read!
Always totally enjoyable and very interesting to read!! :-)

  • 2 new upgrade cards (Tendy Gonzales and Watering Whiz); 236 cards total now. Updated more data points (some tentative) for Brain Capacity cards.

  • Thank you for this list, it's made it very easy to figure out what I have and don't have, and I'm geeky enough to like keeping track of that. :)

  • Being the narcissist that I am, I am saddened I'm not on the list of 60s pre imagination.  I don't think I signed on during the period of data collection so that may be why (I took a few months off).  But for the unofficial record, I was 60 since at least late fall of 2011. Let the pity party begin!

  • Thanks so much for this, it's fantastic!

Data point for Brain Cap upgrades: at 47, the cost for +3 is 139,051.

  • Malus Agricola, did you reach Level 60 prior to the September 2011 beta reset? If so unfortunately that data is long buried, and back in the original beta Level 60 was not the maximum.
Edit: it looks like you were the 34th person to reach Level 60 pre-imagination+post-original-beta, but you are listed under your old user name Odracir. I've updated both lists with your new user name.

    Thanks, Lassarina!

Updated achievement rarity list with 64 new achievements (including the one hidden achievement discovered so far, Barman of Death). Scanning is currently in progress, and manual scans for achievement data can be initiated by visiting the profile of any user on Glitchium.

  • Thanks Tom!  I found it too after I started thinking about it some more, but as my previous statement said, my ego is too big too fail, so I couldn't admit my stupidity.  Thanks again for looking into it and for updating!

TomC, I absolutely love that you're doing this.  I don't know if I've said that before but I do know it needs to be said!

  • Faded hearts will go in SDBs now. I believe they made the tweak at the same time they fixed the problem with faded hearts that got "stuck" when they were unpacked from moving boxes.

  • Thank you everyone for all the feedback and data! The Brain Capacity costs are now complete from 37 to 60.

RainyRain, currently there is no API for listing a player's achievements so the list is the result of periodic page scraping/scanning. The rarity page is also updated periodically. You can scan your achievements here: http://glitchium.com/profiles/PCRQ5I7A2OS17HE/

Thanks for the update, Wrong Way.

  • Updated Upgrades by Cost list with the new prices of Quoin Multiplier upgrades (changed when the Quoin Multiplier was capped at x100). Also added tentative cost formula for Get Out of Hell Free and Reshuffle cards. Looking for data on Brain Capacity card costs when existing capacity is between 20 and 36 inclusive, and data on Energy Tank card costs.

  • Updated Achievement Rarity List with a new design by Lx. You may need to hard refresh the page to see the updated appearance. The Names checkbox shows the achievement names and the Rarity checkbox shows the Percentage value along with a pie chart overlay. Names for the rarest badges will appear on a separate page in the future.

  • You can now compare a player's achievements with the achievement rarity page. This may be used to see which relatively easy achievements to go for (based on how many other people have them). Sample page:  http://glitchium.com/achievements/rarity/PLI16FSFK2I91/

Search for a player's name and click on "View Achievements with Rarity" at: http://glitchium.com/search/

  • how do you get the names of glitch who have earned the acheivements in the rarity page? i recall a while ago i used to look at a page that showed names as well...
Posted 4 months ago by Zudora Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Zudora, that was on the old layout and it only displayed names for achievements with less than 150 earned. This will soon be available on a separate page for just the rarest achievements; otherwise would be too much text to display names for every badge.
