How to charm butterflies and batterflies..

Yesterday, I decided that I wanted a butterfly pet who would follow me around my house while I did chores. I didn't think it was possible, but I was determined to find a way! After trying different combinations of actions, I finally stumbled upon a way to do it :D

I made a video tutorial because I found it to be easier to show people instead of explaining it.

When trying it out, don't walk around too fast or you'll lose it. You can also tow more than one at a time. Enjoy!

EDIT: Super big ups to Rook for encouraging me to make the video and showing me how to make it!

  • Wonder what happens if someone else tries to interact with it ?

  • They can interact with it just fine, but they cannot steal it from you. So far, it seems harmless..

  • very clever, tis!

Sad that they don't follow you from street to street.  For a moment, I had dreams of luring a batterfly home ...

  • What happens if someone else does the same thing to a butterfly that is following you? Is it locked to you, or will it follow the last person to use this trick?
