By the way... Are Rooks still around? It's been a while since I heard about them...

...and I never even managed to battle one!

  • I helped fight a rook  about a month ago...haven't seen one since.  I took a picture of the rook flying, although I couldn't get a picture of my "cracked" computer screen.   I think it is on my homepage under the snaps section if you want to view it.

  • I helped defeat one yesterday.  Definitely still around.

If you're not already a member, keeping the Rook Alerts group chat open all the time is a great way to keep informed!

  • I was booted out of the Ancestral Lands right into the middle of a Rook Attack today.  Honestly, it was the first one I've really been in (a previous one that I stumbled on months ago was just ending as I transitioned onto the street).  They are pretty cool...though I spazzed in trying to help revive animals.  Looking forward to the next one.

  • marycontrary. you can get one if you use an external snapshot utility, suitable for capturing desktop items and windowed areas. The in game camera might not be enough.

If you're on a PC., you could look into something like "PrintKey2000" which last I checked was either free or very dirt cheap. For apple devices, I have no idea but I'm sure there's something.

  • There is also a lovely "snipping tool" on newer windows machines...I think Vista and Windows 7 has it as an accessory.  Like it so much better than print screen since I can do automatic cropping with it, and save from the snipping tool window to a graphics file. For these types of files, you'll need to use something like Flickr or imgur to post the picture though since they won't save to your Glitchr snaps.
