I found myself wanting the old Amelia Earhart leather flying cap and goggles this past round. And a jacket with a waving silk scarf that stands out regardless of the breeze?
Cristy - we added ballet shoes to the Wardrobe!
Also, you now have the ability to save and load an infinite number of outfits, which should make it a lot easier to change clothes. Just click on the "Save current outfit" or the "Show saved outfits" link underneath the cupboard in the Wardrobe.
What do you think of the four new hairstyles in the Vanity? ;)
They're awesome sugarQb great work.
One suggestion I know it has been mentioned in the ideas forum but not all of the hair styles have highlights :( I wish mine did is there any way to do that?
Gabi - we probably won't be changing the existing hairstyles too much, because we wouldn't want to change the hair on all the avatars who already have it. However, we've taken note and I'm sure you'll see highlights in lots of future hairstyles!
@sugarQB I really like the "save outfit" option! Thanks for adding that. And I am drooling over the assortment of masks and hats, but they look terrible on me without hair---LOL. I know layering a hat and/or a mask over a hair style is very, very complicated. Maybe add hair to the masks? Or to the hats like the viking horns? I know a lot is going on behind the scenes. Thank you for the great job you are doing to make this game so fun!
Rachel2635: Getting hair to work with hats and masks is one of our top priorities for the wardrobe at the moment. It'll be worth the wait!
WindBorn: You're right about the Mocha Peacoat. We should probably call it the Detective Coat - what do you think?
Lots of cool clothing options - thanks to all who work on that!
How about a tall hat with stripes, sort of like the Cat in the Hat wears, only with various color choices?
I was just saving some outfits and it occurred to me that a Make Me Naked button would be nice when you need to take off an outfit with several elements.
Love the Save This Outfit feature! I know my closet will eventually be very tiresome to scroll through, so that is going to be very handy.
ETA: It just occurred to me that this probably already exists and I have missed it -- I am easily the most unobservant alpha player ever. If it does, someone plz point it out to me!
@Nanookie!! I did exactly that! I stripped down nekkid and then clicked on "Save this Outfit!" Now, when I go shopping, I click on my nekkid me and then start from there! <g>
@Cupcake... the problem with just clicking "none" is this. Click "none." Try on a new shirt. Take off new shirt and the old shirt you were wearing appears.
Minor detail, I know, but saving my nekkid me saves this step. :)
It's just a cat hat. :) Your half way there with the fox hat [there's a joke about a fox hat]. Big triangle furry ears. http://www.stylehive.com/shop-furry-aviator-ear-flap-kitty-cat-hat does not really haver to look just like that one..just showing you a picture :p Not to fussed about the colour. Although white is nice or a little gray tabby. Fur timed tabby wast coat would look nice with it too...just saying :)
For some reason, this made me flash to the episode of Ab Fab when Patsy tries to quit smoking and she takes off her shirt and her torso is covered with nicotine patches. And she is, of course, smoking at the time.
An entire shirt or coat made of medicinal patches would be fun.
Along the same lines, some kind of Gaga-ish transparent shirt with the two nipple tape X's underneath (even better: on front AND back). Except I am sure the whole transparent thing is as much of a bee-yatch to do as hair under hats.
(OMG....somedays I'm so super-glued to that site!! Etsy rocks. )...but, yes, I'm still looking for hair rollers, a pink fluffy house coat and stilletto heels.
As for the nic patches please include itchy red skin patches for those of us that proved allergic to those damn things and had to cold turkey.....129 days nicotene free to date and going strong YAY.
I'll add my vote (fwiw) to an assortment of aprons for chefs and grillers, preferably with the same designs currently on t-shirts. (except maybe add a pickle!)
Tops that coordinate with the Polka Dot Skirts. (sorry, I like to match)
Polka dot skirts for my real life me.
A cat to wear as a stole. Can he purr if you click him?
Ascots
Navy blazer with generic family crest
Collar-up polo shirts (collar has to be up though, otherwise there's no point)
Madras shorts
Wire/cage dress of twinkle lights (either A shaped or curvy like a dressmaker's dummy)
Jane Austen is My Hero Hair (with empire waist dress available too)
Really long scarf, a la Isadora Duncan's killer scarf, but without the potential to kill you.
Metropolis robot suit
Evil genius glove (big metal glove with havoc wreaking buttons)
I have a secret society.. THE PUFFS (all caps) we are a sisterhood.
We want to have a red scarf to identify ourselves with.. can it be called the THE PUFFS scarf?
Arth - funny you would ask for a top hat, because... Ta-dah!
We added a bunch of other items today, including the 3-part bunny outfit that so many people had been asking for (hat + top + pants). There's a black version as well.
Also, we now have cowboy hats, new kinds of footwear and legwarmers that can be worn with shoes.
+1 Lab coats
+1 Bathing Suits
+1 Sunglasses
+1 Cat ears, bunny ears, etc. (okay, so not sure they were mentioned, but I skimmed the already excellent list, so I'm assuming someone asked for these already)
+1 Accessories - purses/bags, umbrellas, briefcases, backpacks, scarves, boas, etc.
+1 Aprons
I absolutely need cat ears. I can not possibly survive without them.
Not a clothing idea but I've been looking at the free choices of skin colour and there are no dark ones if you're not a subscriber. All the free ones are too light and bright. Will there be more skin colours available?
For the hair...I LOVE highlights. It would be real neat to be able to add our own different colored high lights to our hair. Or at least put some new colors in the hair colors that already have contrasting funky colors for high lights please... please... :) thank you :)
