"Hell" options?

I'm not an old fogey or anything, and I really do get games (and absolutely love Glitch), but I'm concerned about how many players are looking forward to/enjoying "dying" before end of day so they can go to Hell to get a badge.  Death is real and natural death is part of the cycle of life, but with so many young people taking their own/others lives in the Real World ... And they can't just "pop" back into the world full of energy at New Day.  Well, I dont know how to say it without maybe offending someone, but I think everyone online has some social responsibility -- whether it be via games or chat or whatever.  And some people are more impressionable than others...  Anyway, for what it's worth, here are my thoughts for options to Hell: Time Out, Detention, AWOL, Recess. (I'm sure the clever ones can think of others.)

  • I understand where you're coming from because I totally agree that games can influence people and that the people who design them need to think about that from time to time. But in my opinion, the people who would be negatively influenced by the death and hell aspect of Glitch are those who are too young to play according to the TOS.  I think once you hit 14 there's not too much doubt about how the way death works and at 17 it would be even less of a concern.  Of course there would be the exceptions but I think those would be very few.

Of course that's just talking about it being called death and hell. Talking about the badge, perhaps it would be more responsible to have a badge for going a certain number of consecutive in-game days without dying? I don't think they're likely to change it though, and I'd like to think that it doesn't cause problems for people but I guess you really can't be sure.
