Do the shrines know about the new prices with vendors?

I donated 3 Crystalmizing chambers expecting their pre-EHSP value would be 2500 each. Instead, the total donation value was more than I expected, so I ended up with an emblem I didn't expect. Or else maybe I was having a little moment, distracted by thoughts of the new hell wine. Anybody have a clue more than I do?

ETA: Nope, my mistake. The shrine still gives 250 favor for donating a single Crys Chamber. Many thanks to all who thought about this and replied.

  • Did you check the shrine before you donated to see if you had any favor there?

  • Heh, I don't remember.  Or maybe like Dorothy going to Oz, I was just dreaming.

But I did just test this for myself, donating a single Crystalmatizing Chamber w no EHSP to a shrine. It was just 250 favor. And the info tab for it also still says its value is 2500, even tho vendor charges more.

  • Were the actual prices of the items changed?
Because favor is dependent on the value of the item, not the vendor price.

  • The base value is generally the same, which is what donations use. The vendors just are taking a larger % commission when buying items, so fewer currants for players.

  • Vendors are also charging more for items, so the price on the vendor sales screen is higher than the value of the item on the item information screen.
