Reset it , don't reset it .... I don't really care. Just let me play. Should have bought some extra lotion to cure my Glitch itch in the down time ....
Me. I'm too far ahead and all my quests now require grinding and running back and forth, which is a wee bit boring (and the world is HUGE with all the new streets!). Plus, I don't have much time right now, so it would be nice to be able to do a small quest every now and then and then get back to work :P
I have been kinda wondering around aimlessly in the last two tastings. I have been working my way through the quest log in the hope of just being able to learn more of what to do for NEXT time. As much as I love the game I do feel like i'm treading water. But then like a friend keeps saying you can reset us but you can't take away what we have learnt! :)
yeah, I'm looking forward to starting from scratch. It won't be exactly the same as when we (at least the senior testers) first started testing. There's a more advanced map, recipes, etc. It'll be interesting.
Yeah, I was excited about the reset a couple tests ago because I wanted to redo my skill tree and try a more focused approach but in the last big test, I completed most of my skills but I got myself into a bad No-No cycle while trying to contribute to some projects :) Plus i had some bags over-flowing with very very stinky cheese and didnt even think to leave it at home till the last minute. (Musta been all that No-No).
I wanna focus my mining and cash so if someone wants to focus on cooking and shake making you'll have a buyer for +mood drinks and Earth Shakers and high-energy foods, you'll have a buyer :) Let's get this economy running!!
Have only been able to do the vanity and wardrobe area. Great fun. Also been studying the encyclopedia and Wiki. Trying to learn everything I can. How many times a day does one have to check the site out to see if it is open or not? Would hate to miss the game again.
Here is in the background all day... I agree with Mish, probably check a couple thousand times a day... check e-mail, check Glitch, read a news article, check Glitch, grab a cup of coffee, check Glitch, walk the dog, Check Glitch.... it's becoming unhealthy.
"Play properly?" I wonder what that means. I would guess that it depends upon what your goal is. You might want to accumulate currents as fast as you can. Or favor with the giants. Or skills. Or explore new places. I think the success of Glitch will rest, at least partly, on its lack of a single, dictated goal, of a single, dictated, "proper" way to play.
feel so much better knowing I'm not the only person checking several times a day....
I got a bad feeling I'll have piles of work to do tomorrow night amd am wondering how to shunt it to one side for a few hours if there's a sudden test. Where there's a will, there's a way! :)
I'm still trying to figure out why some people want the restart so they can start over and play "better"
HUH? There's a method to the madness afterall? lol
i have no idea what i'm doing in the game so i really don't quite get the whole "which things are better". I think maybe i'm more of a hand's on learner (learn as you go).
Perhaps next reset will have absolutely no impact on this little glitchling!
