There is some concern in parts of the community that having a larger maximum energy pool can be detrimental rather than beneficial. Before the xpimagination changes that force people to spend imagination to increase their maximum energy, I think a few changes should be made to make sure that maximum energy is always good. The current worth of maximum energy could lead to undesirable results such as: having a handful of glitchen who stay at 100 energy to keep teleportation costs low; or a number of glitchen who spend imagination to increase their energy only to feel that it made them worse.
In order to address this, I'm proposing three changes:
1. Reduce teleportation costs for ranks 1 through 4 to 30%, 25%, 20%, 15%
2. Base meditation returns on maximum energy so that meditation rank 3 would give 100% of maximum energy in 10 minutes of meditating. At the same time increase meditation cooldown and ensure the minimum meditation benefit equals the current benefit for lower level players.
3. Reduce the value of ancestral lands quoins by approximately half but increase their respawn rate to make the total quoin value per time the same as it is now.
