[fixed] IE9 Web Page Rendering Problems

Top tool bar with mood, XP, level, etc. comes out funky when using IE 8 or IE9. Chrome is a-ok.

  • I'm using IE 7 and having some issues also.

The top of every page looks like this:

  • My hubby had the same problem. Was fine yesterday, came on today looked like your pics MaryLiLamb. Noticed he had hit the Compatibility View button ( he is running IE8). I hit the button all returned to normal.Worth a shot to give it a try.

  • Using IE9: My screen looks like this with Compatibility View turned on, but turned off it looks OK.

  • I've never seen a Compatibility View option. Where would I find it?

eta: Just did a search for it and found this article support.microsoft.com/kb/95...
But I shouldn't be having a problem because I am not running IE 8 or 9.

  • @MaryLiLamb - Actually compatibility view makes the newer versions of IE act like the older ones. It's when IE is one of those older versions, or running like them, that the problem appears. Upgrade to IE 8 if you can. IE 9 is much better yet, but you have to be running Windows Vista or Windows System 7. If that isn't possible, try one of Safari, Chrome, Firefox 5, or Opera.
