If you've placed some things in your yard that you'd like to remove, there's now a way to do that. You'll just need to get someone to mourn your death to get started...
windborn you already said that in the help channel. You don't need to nag me. I've got one help case that has been opened since september. Sometimes its faster sometimes it isn't. You really don't need to keep nagging me when I report something on the help channel.
Does this mean that we go to hell each time we run out of energy doing regular ingame stuff, or do we need to sniff nono to go to hell multiple times a day?
*suggestion* if we are going to continue this wine of the dead situation, can the gravestones be plain (without flowers) until somebody mourns the grave...and once the grave gets mourned over, the flowers can show up?
it'd make it a lot easier to see who is mourned for and who isn't.
Was this the plan for removing resources all along or was something changed because of popular demand? Either way, that bartender and the bar are awesome!
I did have a headstone I reckon but it was only a few minutes after this thread started so I had no idea what to do and I died on my own, sadly ;)
The next time I had a friend there to mourn me and all was well.
Hmm... there are Diabolical Drink Tickets listed in the auctions, but I can't buy them. Search results give this link: "http://www.glitch.com/auctions/item-drink-ticket/" which just re-directs to "http://www.glitch.com/auctions/". The wine works. Anyone else have this problem?
I am so totally confused.. I need to die and go to hell an "X" number of times to get tickets?.. I need a mourner every time I die or only once?.. I get tickets when?? I would definitely converse with the bartender :D
ps.. and I need to die "naturally" right (i.e. no No-No)? 'Cause I just tried dying a few minutes ago and.. nothing.
I want to marry the bartender. He is so my type. Also, finally something fancy to drink on a Friday night - thank you!
I second all requests to make a cubi out of him. Also, maybe design a house door that looks like the entrance..? Would look good as an entrance to a cellar of those ever happen.
Happy Friday to all - living and dead alike!
@Princess Fi I died once naturally in a location where they weren't any other Glitches-no quest was given, died second time same day using No No in Cebarkul and got quest just perfect :D
Just F-everyone's-I, if you mourn a headstone you get a bit of favor with one of the giants, so if you're at loose ends it's totally worth hanging around a die-in and playing professional mourner.
So i poured the wine on the herb garden I don't want. I completed the project and I still have a herb garden that I don't want. Doesn't it just disappear no?
Ah I didn't see that so I guess I have to do it again. I hope this isn't gonna stay as how we have to do this, everytime I change my mind about a layout I'll have to go buying bottles of wine and doing projects. Is it just me or would anyone prefer just to be able to delete it even if it was at a cost of imagination or whatever it is gonna be.
I haven't messed with all this yet, but maybe some things shouldn't be so convenient. I mean, a game is about the challenge of playing it. If there was no challenge or puzzle, there would be no game.
@carl I think for those of use who might be, say, a little OCD about how our stuff is organised it may be somewhat frustrating to have to go through the rigmarole of acquiring wine of the dead for all those teensy little adjustments we'd like to make to get everything looking just perfect... :0)
I don't consider this a challenge or a puzzle just a major inconvenience considering people will like to change their houses around frequently, I presume. Personally, I will anyway. Also due to the fact I will be buying credits when this all comes into reality of play, I really don't want to have to die, get a token, buy wine, squish grapes, come back, go get earth, go get guano, any time that I'd like to move a tree patch in my garden. I'm all for it not being too convenient and all that but this is maybe a step too far down the inconvenience road. However, not to be a complete negative nelly, I absolutely love the new housing system and of everything with it this is my only complaint. Considering so much is new, one little complaint isn't the worst.
Thank you geekybird, that's it. I can be totally OCD and will take a while to set out everything exactly how I want it spaced. As it stands if I place something wrong, it's just such a pain to move something 3 inches.
It was great fun and as I made a mistake in planning, very helpful. I've learned my lesson for the real deal...but totally enjoyed the experience and all the peeps! Musta been 100s there while I took my tour. Love the bartender!!!
Okay I've done it for the second time and I'm still stuck with a herb garden that I don't want. I have the project completed sign still up, it says the garden has been depleted (just like it did the last time) and it is still there and there is no other buttons to click. *kicks things*
@ Yggdrasil -> what's confusing me is that it isn't actually killing and removing any of them stuff in my garden that I want to move. So the thoughts of trudging through hell a 3rd time for something I can't seem to get to work is just MEH :p
Does it not remove a herb garden or does it only kill the herbs growing in it? Because I had no herbs growing, did all the steps (twice) and that herb garden ain't going no where
