Don't mind the title - my new little group is "AwesomePants", and it just tickled me.

I really hope I'm not replicating too much, but our group's had some thoughts on the game.

One thing that strikes us is that we'd like more items to be player created/gathered. In particular, coffee, honey, booze, mushrooms, and maybe others.

But we also wanted to do more with some of those items, vendor-only or not.

So, we'd like to see coffee gathering. Instead of growing it - this is Glitch, after all, that's too straightforward - we were tickled by the idea of gathering it from weasels. Of course, if too many animals is a problem, growing would be ok. ;)

But hand in hand with that would be Grinding. Perhaps a modified/expanded Spice skill set? And possibly Brewing...

Additionally, tea. Possibly with the help of trained monkeys? Or, again, trees, whatever. :-p We'd also brew that.

Likewise, chocolate - and perhaps other flavors (and not-quite-spices) like vanilla.

But Brewing also comes in as far as booze - how better to make Hooch or Beer than from grain or potatoes? Brewing/Distilling, of course.

Honey might come from, say, bears. Bees seem to be, again, too straightforward for this game. That, of course, could also be brewed.

I've seen mushroom farming discussed, so, I'll skip that.

We also considered the ideas of a Tailoring skill tree - wool/cotton/etc might come from animals, or plants, depending on what the dev team wanted to do - but also Carpentry, to provide more use for Planks, as well as, say, things such as Kitchen Cabinets or other furniture.

We also like the idea of Pressing - turning some fruit or veggie or another into sesame and olive oil, and possibly other products.
