No No Complaint

I can understand and appreciate the anti-drug message, but don't you think the effects of the "crash" are a bit harsh, especially if one tries it just to see what it does?

What's next?  Disallowing players to kiss someone of the same gender?

Jeebus.

  • Dying is not a bad thing in this game. Some people try to die every game day.

  • Well now that you see No-No's cause n effect - it should be rather funny! If only we had a RL
No- No without consequence. Oh the things I could get done! Coffee is only good for short sprints - lol! Grow a funny bone. :)

  • This game lets you grow and consume hallucinogenic purple flowers, embark on a vision quest to the center of your mind, manufacture and consume your own "no-no powder", and milk butterflies...

...and you think it's proselytizing /against/ drugs? :P

  • I don't agree. I feel you're taking it a bit seriously.

  • SanVo, be sure to go to the community herb garden when you get a chance. :)

  • I love dying, but that could be because I like gazing into the giant toasters eyes....

The elements in the game have evolved and continue to evolve. I assure you there is no preaching about the use of No No or alcohol. It's pretty matter of fact.

Think of it like this -- No No is a performance enhancing drug. There is a real cost to using performance enhancing drugs. There is the benefit and then there is the downside. "Dying" isn't permanent. It's temporary. If it was a permanent condition I'd be concerned.

  • In other games, you get three lives, and then you have to start over.  This isn't one of those games.  :)

  • I'm sorry but SanMoViTo is right. At it's current version, no-no is just an anti-drug message, at least that's how new players will see it. It used to be a fun item, but right now the negatives outweigh the positives and it has no real value.

  • I just got the zombie badge yesterday. No-no helped. I actually started using more of it when they shortened the time on it. It became more addictive for me.

  • I like to see the No-No's effects as sort of a mockery of an anti-drug message.  "TAKE IT ONCE AND YOU'LL DIIIIIEEEEEEEE"

I mean, it's so bombastic as to be ridiculous - which I always thought was the point.

  • I see.
I'm new to the game, and haven't experienced most of the "flowers" and such.  Had no idea about a zombie badge, etc..
Thanks for the replies and the info!
