A little preface -- My friend introduced me to Glitch only 3 tests ago, I'm only level 20 and am not nearly as experienced as most of you.
Okay so, as I'm reading through the forums I'm noticing alot of people talking about skill times & the implementation of the 5% increase in the time it takes to learn after your tenth skill & how it is affecting them. Well, my thread isnt about that - but inspired by it.
I know a few people who play this game now, and it seems to me like they are all trying to learn every skill. Now, I just think about the law of diminishing returns when I think of someone who is learning every skill available.
For a multitude of reasons, (and at this point I feel like I might be the only one who feels this way) when I started playing Glitch, I hadnt thought that you were supposed to master every skill. I had originally just wanted to learn Better Learning skills, Teleportation Skills, & Meditation skills. Of course, this has changed a little, though I totally still see myself only trending towards the the right side of the skill tree. I feel like this was the way the game was sort of intended (not to take away from players choice) but knowing that there are unlearning skills, I often feel like when new skills are added, I'll definitely have an edge over players who have been tallying the entire skill bar as far as being able to learn that skill & use it much faster. I'm just opinionated so I thought I would post this here for players who havent yet filled out their skillbar & to perhaps think about specializing in only a few skill sets. :)
EDIT: Also, if you disagree, feel free to enlighten me with your own opinion/idea
