Piggy 'all meated out.'

This has happened twice. I'm away from the game long enough for a game day to pass between visits.

The first time piggy said he was out, I petted him and he suddenly he behaved as normal. (I have AK 6, so petting should not be necessary.)

The second time piggy said he was out, even petting would not change things. I threw a mild fecundity powder, and he not only dropped meat, I was again able to nibble him twice.

  • You have to keep them fed and pet them, so they are happy. This is not a bug, and could have easily been resolved by global chat.

  • I mentioned in another thread (about meat collectors) that the first instance was after feeding one quite a bit to gather seeds. And at AK 6, no petting is necessary.

And chat is hard on these aging eyeballs.

  • I've found that while petting is not necessary to get meat in public places, at my home it is. Was this a personal piggy?

  • When piggies decline to give meat,it means they haven't been fed, they're hungry for food and attention.I find that if I feed them 1 bit of meat, then they are happy enough to allow me to nibble them successfully, they even give me super harvests, and I always pet them before I nibble (even though I no longer need to) it helps me identify which ones I've nibbled/or not,esp when there are many piggies in 1 area,it is way easier than trying to memorize their names.

  • @Evadrepus: Yes, it was a piggy-at-home. However, petting worked in one instance, but not the other. Piggy was well-fed, because I've been gathering seeds for another round of planting.

@ScillyGirl5: Nice tip. I walked into an area that must be part of the Piggy Liberation Wars, because all the piggies were named, 'Piggy Stolen From (street name).'
