Firefox and Greasemonkey

To day i logged on to find that i can't use any of my greasemonkey scripts becuase firefox updated to 8.0. I was wondering has anyone else had this same issue and if so how can I solve the problem. Seeing as I am not a programmer like many of you, this is out of the question. :)

  • Switch to Chrome, or downgrade to the previous version of Firefox until Greasemonkey (or the scripts) is updated. Remember, you don't HAVE to do all your browsing in a specific browser. For example, I browse the 'net in Chrome, but I play in Safari. Keeping them separate seems to increase browser performance too, in case anyone is interested in that.

  • Firefox 8? is that the beta channel? You should change to the release channel with 7.

  • You can keep using greasemonkey with 8, go to the greasemonkey page. You need to enable compatibility test or something.
