Tiny UX thoughts

1. The starting character colors aren't too exciting.
2. The skills UI when you upgrade a Level is not intuitive.
3. It's difficult to keep up with the messages on the left that pop up since messages from what to do in the game get mixed with messages from the chat room.
4. I would love to be able to use the telescope in Rufa Asuncion to do something cool.

  • I'm sure its coming in some form, but i'd love to see just a little more hand holding starting out. Things like the map, gardening UI, getting to skills or profile, even basics like reminders to check the quest log after accepting a quest.

  • Yeah the map is hard to find when you start. That's non-obvious.

  • I agree that the notification dialogues are easy to miss. especially the ones that tell you off for doing something wrong.

  • I agree that it's hard to figure out what's going on when you're starting. More reminders/info would be useful.

I did also get confused about the level ups and whether I should do it now or later. And didn't know how to get back to the level hierarchy once I passed that moment. It would be good if we could click on something in the game to get back to that.... I kept trying to click on the level meter, for example.

And also that the map was hard to find at first.

I never saw any dialogs telling me I was doing something wrong, so I'll agree, yes, those are easy to miss.
