  • So sad I missed the End of the World party. I was on an old work computer and it kept freezing as I tried to enter the world. What did I miss?

  • Oh there was a conga line, and drinks and food and drugs all over the place! it was a blast :) And GNOMES sooo many Gnomes....
Posted 23 months ago by Cap'n Bob Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Ah, Helcat - too bad! The party was a tribute to your gnome army!

  • oh and YES! ANOTHER FIX PLEASE! +10000000000000000!!!!

  • Helcat: Lord of the Gnomes, Defender of Gardens.
Posted 23 months ago by Rykos Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Yeah Helcat, your army was the talk of the party!
Posted 23 months ago by Leviathan Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Dang.

But the gnome army was definitely a collaboration. At first I was spending all my time mining to get funds for more gnomes, but then all sorts of people just started giving me gnomes - sometimes 5 at a time!

(This is why I love this game. Collaborating on being silly.)

  • The levitation-aided conga line was the stuff of LEGEND. Granted, I'm a bit biased since I was the head of the conga line.

Also, all those gnomes.... *shudder* ;)

  • Is this the last test before the wipe?
Posted 23 months ago by Hburger Subscriber! | Permalink
  • do we need to be carrying our yetis, or will they be safe in our cupboards?
Posted 23 months ago by shhexy corin Subscriber! | Permalink
  • good question...
Posted 23 months ago by Nanookie Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I figured "if I need to ask if I should carry it, I should just play it safe and carry it."
Posted 23 months ago by Tingly Claus Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Dont forget, to keep yer stuff (if it's like last reset) - auction your stuff for super high prices right before. Then just 'cancel' the auctions after the reset to have your items back.
Posted 23 months ago by Hburger Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Devious, Hburger!
Posted 23 months ago by Plurp Subscriber! | Permalink
  • @Hburger Wouldn't the auctions just time out though? Or would you get the items back regardless?
Posted 23 months ago by Aldaris Subscriber! | Permalink
  • I would imagine you'd have to time it just right. I'm going to buy stuff just to mess with people. ;)
Posted 23 months ago by Herp Derp Subscriber! | Permalink
  • There's nothing I care about keeping....except my yeti. Don't take away my yeti...
Posted 23 months ago by Cefeida Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Stoot did say on another thread that we could keep the yetis, so they should be safe!
Posted 23 months ago by Cassandria Subscriber! | Permalink
  • @Alandris: Keep the auctions last for 24 hours each. If you keep them running through the week (ie. start one at a conveniant time, 24 hours later, just as it has expired, re-auction it), and the items should be safe. Repeat: *should*.
@Herp: *self reminder to set items for 100,000C each* :P

:O I don't want them to take away my SB-1 Musicblock! Can there be like the same system as the yeti's, for SB-1's? :3
Posted 23 months ago by Hburger Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Thanks for the info Hburger, but I'm sure now that the devs have seen this they'll disable that feature. Or maybe they'll humour us, who knows.
Posted 23 months ago by Aldaris Subscriber! | Permalink
  • so on reset you dont lose you levels money and items and start as a bunch of know-nothing level one characters with no bags or items or anything?
What exactly is 'reset' if there are ways of keeping things? I thought a reset was a reset and the only thing we kept were our usernames and avatars...
Posted 23 months ago by Cap'n Bob Subscriber! | Permalink
  • "Reset" generally means that yes, everyone loses everything (including houses) and starts from scratch, although some semi-resets have occurred which have, for instance, removed all houses (and, sadly, their contents with them) but provided a currantsy balance in return. In this case, it's safe to assume the next reset really will reset everything and we all start over.

But devs being devs, there would almost surely be a way for them to seed, say, a Glitchmas Yeti back into the inventories of those who had one in an earlier life....
Posted 23 months ago by Eleanor Rigby Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Does anyone know if the next reset is tomorrow? Or later in the month?
Posted 23 months ago by EgIantine Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Ahh, that answers my question wonderfully. Thanks :)
Posted 23 months ago by Cap'n Bob Subscriber! | Permalink
  • c'mon devs, wipe us clean.

    be merciless.

let no yeti or music block be spared.

give us that old time religion.
Posted 23 months ago by striatic Subscriber! | Permalink
  • According to the facebook page, there will be two more resets, one at the end of January, and one before going beta. But once Glitch goes beta we get to keep everything.

So this should give you one last chance to perfect your strategy before going beta.
Posted 23 months ago by Zaphod Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Why has no one auctioned their SB-1 yet? I want one and I'm willing to spend all my currants on it!!! [evil laugh]
Posted 23 months ago by EgIantine Subscriber! | Permalink
  • A watering can, and my beloved yeti to keep me company, is all I need to explore this world!

    Almost clean wipe please :)
Posted 23 months ago by monty the moon Subscriber! | Permalink
  • Are we playing tonight or tomorrow?
Posted 23 months ago by bluto Subscriber! | Permalink
  • yes i would love to know to! i will be altering my plans based on that info, so glitch staffers, if you can share that... it'd be great!
