16 Giant bags of harvestable/minable items [RESULTS POSTED]

Not sure if anyone is interested, but Im going to go and harvest/squeeze/milk/mine and nibble on everything I see until 16 giant empty bags are completely filled. Then Im going to go and sell all of the items to the tool vendor. I'm curious to see how long it will take and how many currants will be made. This will start in about 12 minutes. Feel free to send any food items to me to replenish my energy drain. (<--- not really needed, but feel free if u'd like to xD )

Any thoughts on time frame or currants that will be made? any other thoughts? feel free to post!

  • Had to reload... things really were taking to long to load
---also, accidentally singing to butterflys can be very hazardous to ur energy!

  • The time will likely depend a lot on your skill levels -- the rewards get pretty crazy large at the top end -- and how densely packed the streets are that you travel through.

2 hours of my harvesting everything in Groddle Forest, hitting all but two streets, resulted in about 10 full bags, with Animal Kinship VII, Gardening V, and Soil Appreciation V. (I have Mining V, too, but didn't mine the 4 or 5 rocks in the area.)

I only sold the music blocks -- 3 and a half bags of them -- which grossed 23,200 currents at the tool vendor. I didn't fully squeeze all chickens, probably would have filled that fourth bag of blocks if I had.

I had 40-something full stacks of meat and 9 or 10 full stacks of milk. I missed about 3 or 4 nibbles due to pig groupings that I didn't have the patience to sort out, and missed easily 40 or 50 milkings on streets where the butterflies fly very high and require either staying in one high spot on the street and waiting for them to come by, doing a whole ton of triple jumps, or using a bunch of spinach, all of which are super time consuming.

  • Good luck. I mailed you something for your travels. You could start a raffle to guess the total currants made.

  • So, i hit a lot of lag last night. I took 'a break' which meant that I fell asleep!

Woke up today and finished. Looks like it took about 4 hours of harvesting/mining anything and everything i could see. Organized my bags, posted the results below, and am about to sell it all at the tool vendor to see what i come up with!

    ================TOTAL VALUE - 71,476 Currants==================

  • No bad! Might be a worthwhile endeavor for anyone needing some quick currants!

  • It might be interesting to see this repeated but with some of the low/no value items discarded to make room for more valuable stacks.  EG, drop the F blocks and the shiny object.   Loam and earth and fertilite as well.

  • First of all, HS, how did you get these:
      5 emblems
      1 essence of rubeweed
      1 teleportation script
1 shiny rock of no intrinsic value

Secondly, I might do it, but only 15 bags, in the other I would bring the following
    a tinkertool
    a fancy pick
    a smelter
    a shovel
    a high-class hoe
    irrigator 9000
    a super scraper
a stack of earthshakes (just in case)
    2 stacks of Gurly drinks
    2 stacks of Stews
    a stack of spinach
hmm 3 more slots, what else to pack?

    no grinder
    maybe a hatchet

maybe I'll make these tools as spares so I can either sell them, or drop them to "harvest" more at the end of the trek

oh, I would also plan my route, starting through the Groddles, then the swamp areas, then ..., well I'll plan it out.

next time I that I know I'll have a long enough block of "play time"

  • I suppose he could have picked them up, right? Many kind players leave things behind:) Right?

  • I honestly thought most people did this! Although, extra credit goes to you, Hoodjack, for posting not only progress but totals collected etc!

I made a promise to myself that, if I buy cubi boxes at a toy vendor, then I have to walk from there to cebarkul, harvesting everything that crosses my path and then selling at the tool vendor to make back some money.  With high enough skill levels its amazing how much money you can make, isn't it??

  • So to clarify, I did have shovel, hatchet, scraper, etc. So i did have about 7 tools with me i believe. 1 cubi was picked up, the other 2 were deals that i made along the way. shiny object of no intrinisic value came from poking some cheese, emblems came from completing achievements that through me over my favor limits for shrines.  teleportation script i found, essence of rubeweed i found.

Milking/Squeezing/Nibbling Tip: If your animal skills are high enough, you do not have to get close enough to trigger the blue aura. Place your cursor near or over the animal and if an icon pops up (milk bottle, grain) click it to harvest. If no icon shows up, you have harvested as much as you can from that animal this day.

On piggies, the first icon is the broken heart. Click it to pet the piggy and next two icons will be meat.

For animal pens, I just click on hearts and meat and grain until no more show up when I wave the cursor.

  • Great tip, thanks! I'm always using the keyboard but that sounds like a great way to sort them out when things get funky and for reaching the high ones.
