It always surprises me when someone I admire/like "loses it" and posts something belligerent. It seems like a complete turnaround and makes me question their rl character. Not comfortable. A recent topic was closed, and all the OPs comments changed to a rude message. (kind of amusing that it was done in parts, but still..) The original information was very useful, and got me googling--I hadn't heard of the subject at all before reading here. It was a little inaccurate in places, but that was clarified by other posters. No problem. At least from where I sat. But for whatever reason, the OP was offended, and decided to attack. Maybe the summer heat got to much, maybe lack of sleep, whatever. It doesn't even matter, we all get that way sometimes. But I've seen sooo many emotional outbursts in the forums, and really, how much does it cost to be considerate of other people? Just imagine that person is a co-worker or neighbor, and you're going to see them tomorrow, the next day, etc. etc. Better be civil, or things will be reallly awkward, lol. Maybe write up the angry message, yell all you want....just don't hit enter. Give yourself time to put things in perspective, don't spoil your own experience in Glitch by venting publicly. "Play nice."
Ok, preachybarf message over.
