I think it would be less of a level playing field if the forums were reset, since it holds a lot of knowledge that newer players could use. The more experienced players can't have their Glitch minds reset, so we know a lot that will be put to use right away when we come back as level1-ers.
I wonder if they would be just to clear them out for more relevant information once the game goes live, but perhaps keep them secretly hidden in a drawer somewhere?

I believe one idea was to move the Alpha/Beta forums into a separate archive (still accessible) that would include a warning as to that it was during alpha/beta and a lot of the info may be out of date.
And probably a lot of locking of old old threads.
Yes, that may mean a lot of new threads covering old topics that have been covered here dozens of times... but I'm cool with that. I mean, come on. Us testers LOVE explaining things and demonstrating demonstrating our vast skill.
